Franklin Graham peppered Obama about ties to Islam. Candidate confronted on Christian faith, asked whether he accepts Jesus as savior.
The portion of the article that is VERY revealing was this:
"They focused on abortion, gay marriage, and then Franklin Graham tried to get Senator Obama saved," said Rivers.
The phrase "tried to get Obama saved" is very telling. Who usually talks like that? The unsaved, that's who!
Note this, also:
"According to River's account, Graham went on to ask Obama whether he believed Jesus is the only way to salvation."
A person who is genuinely saved through Jesus Christ would NEVER reply in this manner:
Rivers, a declared Obama supporter, recalled: "Obama said, brilliantly, 'Jesus is the only way for me. I'm not in a position to judge other people.'"
Rivers regards Obama's answer as a "brilliant" response? I'd say the answer is more akin to being an evasive response.
Genuine Christian believers are involved in the Great Commission. We take God's Word seriously - especially when Jesus said:
Jhn 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Would Obama label Jesus' words in that verse as "judgmental?" It is, isn't it? ONE way to be saved is quite intolerant...no?
But such words are being presented by Christian believers in a POSITIVE way - meaning - that Jesus IS THE ONLY WAY TO SALVATION. Thank God for Jesus! We should have the attitude of being eternally grateful...not ashamed to share such truth! Thank God that there is ONE WAY!
Tolerance does not trump TRUTH!
Why would a true Christian deny this gospel message to others?

President Obama's theocracy?
Obama and his emissaries have taken to identifying Barack as a "devout Christian."
Of course, whether he is a "devout" Christian or a Christian at all is really a private matter between the candidate and his God.
What is interesting to note, though, is that there is no cry from the left of an impending theocracy if the "devout Christian" Barack Obama were to be elected. In fact, the left seems quite comfortable with Obama's frequent professions of faith and his devotion to Christ.
Why is that?
Could it be because Obama's support of abortion is so "devout" that the left knows President Barack's brand of Christianity will never stop the shedding of innocent blood?
Or is it because they know that Obama's version of Christianity is not Christianity at all but just a cynical use of religion to help him get the votes of gun toting Bible clingers?

Several reasons why I wouldn't label him as THE Antichrist. (He does have antichrist tendencies, however. Jesus said that "the spirit of antichrist is already in the world." But he doesn't rank as the end times one.)
First, Obama is a puppet being manipulated and handled by the "powers that be" who pull the strings behind the scenes. Obama isn't as smart as people have been led to believe. Just take a look at the video in my recent post and see some of the crazy statements he has made off teleprompter.
He lacks much wisdom and knowledge. He may have fooled many people in 2008, but not this time.
Also, the Bible tells us that the Antichrist will not appear until after the church (meaning all genuine believers dead and alive) are resurrected to meet the Lord Jesus Christ in the air. It will happen in "the blinking of an eye," but the secular world will explain it all away. It is then that the Antichrist will be revealed and those who are left behind will choose whether to "worship" him (take the "mark of the beast") or confess their sins and recognize Jesus as Lord and Savior. Then the tribulation will occur. There is much more to share about this but perhaps this brief explanation is enough for now.
