First, I was glad to read that the unrepentant domestic terrorist of the 1970's Weather Underground group - William Ayers - had his invite to speak at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln canceled.
Excerpt:
Friday’s announcement comes after Gov. Dave Heineman and several other Nebraska politicians asked the university to rescind its invitation.
“Bill Ayers is a well-known radical who should never have been invited,” Heineman said earlier Friday. “The people of Nebraska are outraged.
“This has gone beyond the University of Nebraska. It’s gotten to citizens all across this state, and they’re not happy because this is a public university.”
Heineman, appearing on Fox News late Friday, said he was pleased with the decision and skeptical about the stated reason behind it.
“I’m not saying I’m buying into it either,” he said. “But the bigger issue is we wanted this event cancelled.”
Heineman had called on NU President J.B. Milliken and Chuck Hassebrook, chairman of the NU Board of Regents, to tell Ayers to stay home.
Now that many people have done their own research (and, thanks to Sean Hannity and others who have been warning about Obama's ties to Ayers on talk radio for months) about Ayers, they are finding out just how awful his past associations and activities with this dangerous sleaze of man really is! Ayers and his cohort (and wife) Bernadine? Dohrn had to go into hiding for ten years back in the 60's and 70's to avoid prosecution! Unfortunately, due to a technicality, Ayers got off scot free from paying for his crimes with jail time.
Indeed. Voters across America have been outraged after finding out about all of this after the third debate.

The second post I would like to share is a website that lists all of the crimes and terrible associations of Obama. I was thinking of compiling most of my previous posted warnings about Obama's radicalism, socialism, ties to thugs and terrorists, dangerous ties to Muslim extremists, ties to radical Black Liberation Theology ideology, and all the other worrisome information that is being vetted about Obama across the blogs and the Internet. However, the following website did such a brilliant job of listing many of these concerns, I thought that I would just link to it today.
Slick Barry Website
I have been absolutely horrified to find out that some (actually VERY FEW) acquaintances and even one or two relatives plan to vote for Obama. In fact, I recently received an email from a relative who not-so-subtly informed me that he and his family had a good laugh at his daughter's birthday party over my blog posts about Obama. (I'm sure this knowledge will immensely please any Obamabots that happen to read here).
However, I have this nagging feeling that those who support Obama may not be facing the reality of how his type of "hope" and "change" would turn our beloved Democratic Republic into a Marxist, socialistic, radical liberal-left policy-driven, silence those that don't agree, take your money and re-distribute to those who already don't pay taxes (e.g. Obama's "spread the wealth around" comment to plumber "Joe") kind of existence. I also see a future of the "Fairness Doctrine" (the oxymoron of the century) coming back under Obama and the Democratic Congress majority which would inevitably silence Rush, Hannity, O'Reilly, Levin, Beck, Ingraham, etc. of conservative talk radio fame.
I truly think that people have been duped by Obama. Just as the "Slick Barry" website states at the end, please come to your senses and:
Show the world that you're not fooled!

The next one actually made me cry last night. It was too late and I was too tired to post about it at the time. This morning, I want to share the link to the story, but even more importantly, point out some of the comments of U.S. citizens who are expressing feelings of grave concern and horrible sadness at the frightening possibility that a monster like Obama could possibly be voted into office for the presidency on November 4th.
There is an API (African Press International) story about an alleged phone conversation that was taped where Michele Obama calls Americans "white racists" and lets it slip out that Obama was adopted by his stepfather, Lolo Soetoro and taken to Indonesia for several years. If true, both would have severe implications for Obama's run for the presidency. People are commenting at the website and begging API to release the tape-recorded conversation for proof that it did occur, and that the voice on the other end of the telephone was, indeed, Michele Obama.
Here is a link to the latest update on the story:
Recordings and information leading to recent API story on Michelle Obama’s telephone call is now being cleared for release.
Whether or not this story is true happens to be secondary with me (personally, that is). There has already been enough information out there that has convinced me how awful Obama would be as president.
However, while reading the comments there, I could not help but notice the high anxiety of many American voters who are really, genuinely frightened about an Obama presidency. Many of them brought me to tears. Here are just a few:

Dear Mr. Korir,
Thank you so much for this update. I do understand your legal concerns. However, I also understand that people talking with news organizations, journalists etc. should expect their conversations are recorded in order for the facts to be kept straight.
I apologize for my own aggression I have expressed about the need to have these tapes released; and deeply appreciate your efforts.
For me, I am an X Obama fan. Not because of these tapes, but because of http://www.obamacrimes.com, and http://www.larrysinclair.org and MANY other serious issues that were NEVER addressed by Obama.
For me, we have been railroaded over here in the US. I am sick of all the lies, corruption and abuse of power. Mrs. Obama’s call to you seems to be an abuse of power. It scares me that we would have such a racist first lady in the White House.
Thank you sir, and God Bless you!
I look so forward to hearing the recording.

Patience is a virtue. As before, release the tapes, but not before you have handled it in a professional and well thought out manner. I have been a loyal reader of your publication for a lot longer than most of your “new” American observers and I have always admired your dedication to the truth without bias. It has been refreshing. After all, you are merely a messenger. No one should threaten, intimidate, or speak harshly about a messenger. If a delivery man brings bad news, it is not the deliveryman’s fault he is merely the messenger. You are blameless and should be respected for your due diligence. May calmer heads prevail. God Bless and good luck.

So that also has to be taken into account.
But I believe, that they are on the side of truth and will release the tapes when their families are safe from vindicative [sic] and, possibly, deathly repercussins[sic].
God speed.

We in America respect and understand your concerns. The Obama campaign has openly threatened many here in the US who dare to speak against their candidate. You are wise to tread cautiously. However, two of the greatest freedoms we have long cherished in America is our free press and our freedom of speech. With our own main-stream media refusing to report on most of these questions regarding Obama’s background, thus trying to influence our election process by omission, combined with intimidation and threats against those who express their right to free speech, it is heartening to find an online news source willing to do the right thing. The story is news. Report it. Let us determine for ourselves if it will influence our votes or not. Let the system work. Free press. Free speech. One Man/Woman. One Vote. When we lose these basic fundamentals upon which our country was founded, we have truly lost our way.
God bless you as you continue down this path of journalistic integrity.

Dear Sir,
I am so happy to see that somewhere in the world, be it in Norway or in Africa, real journalism still exists, and that people like you are doing their jobs with objectivity and honesty.
Here in France, there is no freedom of the press anymore : journalists have become the instruments of President Sarkozy’s propaganda. And the French media is covering the American election in a biased manner : Obama is the idol, the hero, he is the Saviour of America, etc.. etc…
I have really appreciated your reference to Richard Nixon and Watergate, because I think that Obama is worse than Nixon, even much more self-centered and narcissistic than Nixon was, and much more of a crook !
So thank you, thank you : if you are able to change the course of the race when you release this recording, I will be grateful to you forever !
Thanks to you, maybe a disaster will not happen in twenty days…

Dear Chief Editor Korir:
I’m just happy to see that journalism is alive and well SOMEWHERE!
Your professionalism is most appreciated by us here in America. We have not been experiencing this level of journalistic integrity for almost a year. We do understand that your paper did not intend to get in the middle of a potential political scandal and need to take precautions to protect your paper.
How could you know that a candidate for president of the USA may be trying to actively undermine our Constitution, which he would be sworn to upheld as POTUS, and if true would cause serious ethical violations due to the nature of his own profession, since both the Obamas are career lawyers; Barack Obama himself was a professor in Constitutional studies at the University of Chicago.
If the American media had been doing their job, this would never have become an issue for your paper, I’m sure.

To the honorable Chief Editor Mr. Korir,
Please accept my apologies for many of my countrymen in wanting the recording release. I hope you understand that they are not calling you or your staff liars, but it is mostly frustration they are feeling. We nor[sic] the truth have not been properly serviced by either transparency of Mr. Obama’s past nor has our own Mainstream Media sought to vet the truth of the many allegations made against Mr. Obama. Many see you and the API as perhaps the very last bastion of not a “free press” as what was enshrined in our constitution, that is a press free to print what they wanted in support of their ideology irregardless, but as a “True press” that that does surrender this freedom to support all types of loyalties and ideologies, to bind this freedom upon the premise that only the the truth will liberate the hearts and minds of all people.
I have been checking your site regularly since you wrote about Dick Morris involved in Raila Odinga’s campaign in December of 2007. What I have seen in your articles has been fairly truthful and unbiased reporting of all issues that effect Africa, from politics, to business to concerns of the ex-patriot.
While Mrs. Obama may have believed that you should have supported her husband based upon race, or even of a African sense of identity, I have seen from your articles that API is above that type of mentality and you and the staff of API honestly want Africa to be a better place to live in and for business and commerce to flourish in. You have elevated the lone sane voice of truth above the clamor of the mob. Only the truth can set us free from oppression and despair.
Yes, I agree with you that the information you have will change the political landscape, but it will change it for the better. Not in a McCain victory or an Obama defeat, but you and API will be a reminder to our own press that truth must always stand above ideology.
There are some who have called you a liar who hate you, there are some who have called you a liar, if you do not release the tapes, who beleive [sic] you are only a tool of some racist conspiracy in my country. It is not for those people I offered you the apology, it is for those hungry for truth that I offer you an apology. And let us both hope that these are the vast majority.
Please release the tapes, so that my own news media will remember the true meaning of a free press. It is only unfortunate that a small group of intrepid reporters from Africa must pay the price of being ridiculed for serving the truth that our $1,000,000 USD, a year reports forgot. In this sacrifice I honor you and your staff.
Respectfully yours,
Teo Bear

Dear Mr. Korir:
I am an independent trying to decide who will be the better person to lead the United States of America as her 44th president. Senator Obama and Senator McCain have plans that will benefit me. I must make my decision wisely. I am trying to give Senator Obama the benefit of the doubt but there is the uncertainty of trust. His campaign has played the race card throughout the primaries and now during the general election campaign. If you have information that can make me understand the Obamas better, yes, that includes Mrs. Michelle Obama, then please share that with us before November 4, whether it’s good or bad. Let me and the rest of the American people have a chance to review what you have so that we can make our decision intelligently. While I understand your predicament, I do not want to vote for someone that I help elected to the White House and that person turned out to be someone who does not have the United States and her people’s best interest. I pray that you will have to courage to share your information with us before it’s too late. Thank you.

Dear Editor,
Democracy costs. Some pay with their lives. Some are jailed. Some just lose money. But, in the end, freedom is gained for everyone.
What would you gain by releasing the tapes? Your reputation. Could you lose some money in a lawsuit? Well an international lawsuit will take years, and as your reputation increases…just look at Matt Drudge….so will your pocket books—by the time it gets to court, you will have the money to pay.
As the man above said, you are more likely to get sued for printing the story without proof..lying about a candidate, than you are for publishing the tapes.
The Obamas would not sue you, after you post the audio, that would ruin their reputation, in America….trying to stop free speech, they were hurt badly by the “truth Squads”. But, they may sue for defamation of character if they are not released.
As I see it, you are the beneficiary right now, if you post the audio. Not posting it is dangerous to you. Follow your gut, journalistic instincts to get the truth out.
Best of luck.

It is certainly understandable that you are concerned about your legal and possible financial liability. Any reasonable person can understand that.
You state that the delay to make public the recordings is expected to give time to Mrs Obama to come clean. Not entirely unreasonable. Releasing a portion of the tape would accomplish this.
However, your claim that you do not wish to affect the election does not have the ring of truth. In any case, if you release the tape before the election, after the election or not at all; you have affected the election. This burden is now yours and can no longer be changed.
The biggest question then is do you care to be on the side of truth or join the liars of this world. If truth, you should easily be able to release the tape without legal liability and should do it when the truth can be of value. If you wait, it suggests you have greater considerations than just truth. Which is fine, but as a news organization you must live with your decision and what it means about you.
I hesitate to write you at all because I understand some of the pressure you must be feeling. However, your own words have shown you are a bit wobbly on standing on the side of truth. You need to be firm and have courage. I’m hoping you are a proud member of the good guys (because the bad guys seem to be unrelenting.)
It’s tough being in the spotlight, but there you are. Please don’t make the huge mistake of waiting too long. You’ve shown that you can avoid the danger of haste. I hope you don’t let indecision result in the same danger. The truth matters. I hope you agree.
Have courage we pray.

There are over one hundred more comments that could be posted here. These are just a few examples of how desperate voters in our nation are to find out the truth about the Obamas. The FACT that our MEDIA OF MASS DECEPTION is STILL trying to keep the many horrible realities of Obama away from the general public outrages me, astounds me, saddens me and frightens me.
However, I still have confidence that through a great move of God, THE TRUTH will come out. I just pray that it happens before November 4th, 2008!!!

Also, found some encouragement reading this comment that I recently received via email notification from GateWay Pundit:
Nahanni has left a new comment on the post "RAGING PLUMBERS Wave Plungers At Obama Outside Ral...":
Take a look at the actions of the Obama campaign, the MSM and the threads that the are attracting the "Night of the Living Dead" Obamatrolls to know that the Democrats are very, very worried about losing.
[See The Left's Big Blunder]
They should be.
All one has to do is observe what is happening to know that Zombie is right.. Here is one observation for you. Sarah Palin and John McCain have been drawing more people to their campaign appearances then Obama and Biden have been in the last couple of weeks and McCain/Palin have been making appearances in places that are supposed to be true bleu like Pennsylvania. When you look at the pictures of some of these rallies the Obama ones look more like a wake then a political rally-sure the campaign makes sure that up close it looks good for the press...errr...the Democratic party propaganda wing, but look at the photos of the crowds out of press photog range. No energy there-people sitting around and looking bored.
Another observation that is obvious to all by now is the vitriol that has been heaped on both Sarah Palin and Joe the Plumber by the Obama campaign, the Democrats and their MSM and moonbat lackeys. These two have the Obama camp very worried. They have tried to do their worst to destroy Sarah Palin and it backfired. Now they are trying to do that with Joe the Plumber. They know that Joe the Plumber is going to be their "Willie Horton" if they do not move to destroy him and quickly. Unfortunately for them it will backfire because, unlike Willie Horton who now seems to represent the Democratic party mainstream, ol' Joe is represents the majority of Americans and the attacks and vitriol directed at him by the Democrats and their MSM/moonbat lackeys will be perceived as an attack against them. Combine that with the daily reports on ACORN and massive voter fraud, the sheer arrogance of the Democrats and Obama and that is a recipe for disaster for the Democrats.
Another observation... Obama is trying to run out the clock right now. Unfortunately for him it is too early to do so and the wind is changing directions. I think that they are thinking that they have successfully rigged the election in states such as Ohio that they will win those states not on merit but by fraud. They may be in for a surprise. Democratic party machine style politics may work well in places like Boston, Philadelphia and Chicago but they do not play well in the rest of the country.
christine, i just sat here and talked with someone at my dinner table who spouts the same crap you do. she said she couldn't vote for obama because she felt all his 'present' votes revealed a hidden agenda and a reluctance to go on the record about key issues.
of course, you only need to go to google and type in 'obama present votes' and you'll see that he voted 'present' 129 times out of over 4000 votes, or roughly 1 vote out of every THIRTY.
but do you think the real facts meant anything to her? no, just like they don't to you. and mccain will say something about voting 'present'. and sean hannity will say it too. and rush. and laura. and all of the lemmings like you that cling to every word of theirs swallow it hook, line and sinker.
you scare me, christine.
our country needs people with their minds in proper working order, and not simply contented spewing out bullsh-t drivel. and i'm not being cute, here - i'm being serious. go watch the frontline piece, and strip away all the lies and propoganda that the media and both campaigns are feeding us. it is hard as h-ll finding the truth in all of this endless stream of crap - but we need to step back and make up our OWN minds.
this election is not about ayers. it isn't about acorn. it isn't about birth certificates. it isn't about joe the plumber, who has a lien on his house and is late on his tax returns, but is the poster boy for mccain's economic plan. it isn't about socialism. what it IS about is putting someone into office who can pause and THINK before he acts, and once he's decided to ACT, the country can feel confident moving in behind him. if you think that person is mccain, great - then vote for him. but vote FOR him and not AGAINST all this drivel that can't even pass the qualifications to get published in national enquirer.
wake up, america!

"of course, you only need to go to google and type in 'obama present votes' and you'll see that he voted 'present' 129 times out of over 4000 votes, or roughly 1 vote out of every THIRTY."
Here's the thing: A great many things that congress votes on have little or no significance. Others are significant, but are pretty much a no-brainer. Every now and then, however, maybe one time in thirty, people need to vote on something that is both significant and controversial, something that people watch. A person of integrity, a leader, will use this as the opportunity to stand for something. Your standard, cowardly politician uses this opportunity to vote present so that he can satisfy his constituents without leaving a clear paper trail.
I'm being serious here too - America needs a leader. Not just someone who will think out a course of action, but will also have the guts and integrity to act on it.
Hilary Clinton, Bill Clinton, Al Gore, John Kerry, John Edwards, George Bush - If you are looking for a common link here, every one of these officials claimed that there was no doubt that Saddam Hussein had WMD's. Oddly, each of them except Bush changed their tune as soon as it became obvious that we were actually going to do something about it. The reason was that they were politicians a lot more interested in protecting their career than protecting the country. Leaders stand up for what they believe in. Crap politicians run for cover.
With his consistent swerving on tough choices, with his references to UN approval, with his present votes, Obama has shown that he is cut from the same cloth, except that with his associations with radicals, socialists, and thugs that work to suppress free speech, he is probably worse than most.
It does us know good to have a president who carefully thinks out his plans if his underlying plan is to consolidate his own power, take freedom from the American people, and cover his own butt using the Media, the UN, and anyone else he can nail to the wall for his own misjudgments.
It must be difficult to be the voice of reason when your mouth and the rest of your head remains so firmly up another orifice...
Christine, don't be intimidated by the bile in the previous post. That's simply the way these people operate: abuse, slime-balling, innuendo, and the like. Facts and reason are as absent as east is from west.
Christine, I pray for you and the stand you are taking. You are in the thick of it, just as we are here in OZ. Some good news here: the Labor Party (socialist) suffered some massive swings against it in a series of by-elections in New South Wales yesterday - the biggest such swings in our electoral history. People ARE getting sick and tired of the claptrap from the left and want integrity in government rather than political-speak and PC-ness.
I with others pray for Sarah and other Christians standing for the Congress and the Senate. May the Lord be with them and give them every success.
I have noticed also that Sarah's rallies attract people in the tens of thousands, while Obama's rallies seem to be dwindling. I could not help noticing that on TV Friday night, when footage of Obama inadvertantly showed empty spaces and empty seat behind and around him, before the camera angle narrowed. Meanwhile, Palin's rallies appear to be truly enormous, as people come out in droves - folks who have never been involved politically before, and have not even voted before! It seems to me that ordinary folks are starting to realise that the nations is teetering on the brink of grave peril, with a "monster" (as you put it) like Obama in the offing, and someone like Sarah Palin who represents heartland America, and even shops at a Wal-Mart and stops there to chat to people.
As one who has followed American elections for many years I would venture to observe that never in all my experience has the choice been so stark, and the peril so great. And never before has there been such an intense call for prayer across the nation, as on these websites:
www.prayforsarahpalin.com
and
www.prayingforsarahpalin.com
As a died-in-the-wool Australian I still say:
God bless America,
And God bless you, Christine, and others like you!
Mike,
You failed to mention what Obama is for. If we are confused then it is because you haven't told us. If you don't tell us then how will we know?
What I do know is that he ran radio ads on abortion and what I do know is that a non-partisan website rates him at the left of the spectrum which is where I don't travel.
He has two kids in America so when I look at the bigger picture, he has an interest in his kids to some extent but then he is kind of scary when no one laughs at his joke on Mayor Bloomberg being a cross dresser when he gave a roast at the Alfred E. Smith Memorial Dinner. It was a tasteless joke which shows he doesn't understand his audience or that he was making fun of them.

The last paragraph in your Oct. 18th comment made me laugh so hard!
The next 14 days will be high anxiety ones for those of us who are ignoring the media of mass deception and paying close attention to the truth about Obama. SO MANY people I have spoken with can't wait till this election is over!
Keep that comic relief comin'...
Murray A,
Thank you SO MUCH for your comment of encouragement! It means a lot to me!
I know that people might think my calling Obama a "monster" is too harsh. Not for me. His pro-child-death abortion policies are enough for me to legitimately label him as a monster.
In church yesterday, the pastor went over a list of anxieties that many people are experiencing these days. Then, he asked us each to turn to someone next to us and voice what they are particularly anxious/worried about. The person listening was to respond, "Christ died for that, too."
It helps to remember that the ONLY source of TRUE HOPE in our lives is the gospel of Jesus Christ and our personal relationship with our Lord!
I plan to visit that "pray for Sarah Palin" site. I, as well as many fellow Christians pray for her and John McCain every day.
God bless you, Murray, and thank you again for your prayers and encouragement!
In Christ,
Christine
Hi Sosthenes,
I am quite sure that someone helped Senator McCain with his lines at the Smith dinner; and another person helped Obama with his lines.
The cross-dressing comment was most likely written and encouraged by a liberal Democrat. What's more, when such a comment is delivered by another Democrat against a Republican, no one in the media cries foul. However, if McCain had ever said those lines about a Democrat, it would have been labeled as "gay bashing" and the media would have attacked McCain for it.
Just that one example shows the media of mass deception bias.
Hi Faultline,
Thanks for reading my email and coming over to comment. What did you think of "The Left's Big Blunder" article?
Keep up all the great work that you are doing at your blog!
Mike,
Please explain to me how we could possibly trust Obama as president when he and his democratic cohorts were greatly responsible for the abuse, corruption, greed and money grabbing that led to the Fannie and Freddie subprime mortgage crisis?
Please see the three videos in today's new post.
christine, you are exactly right (i said it again!!!) about the trust issue. we have a serious issue now in our country that there is essentially no one in or vying for a position of leadership that we fully trust.
but it's certainly naive to think that this financial crisis is all the work of one party or one group of people.
i share the same anger and frustration you have with nancy pelosi and barney frank - as to pelosi, for that totally inappropriate speech before the bailout bill vote, showing that she puts party and pettiness over the problems of the country; as to frank, for the obvious hand he had in the failure and his posturing to try to come across as the guy in charge, while pushing the bill through as quickly as possible to cover his multitude of sins. and i say all that because it is a real sticking point with me, that i'm voting for obama and putting him in with a democratic congress run by those two charlatans.
but you're way off base about obama the man. he may have his faults, but he's nowhere near the evil man you paint him to be. and i believe you'll have to answer for that someday.
just as i'll have to answer for calling gary 'stupid'...

Mike,
It is obvious to me that you didn't view the video links in my new post.
Here - I'll make it easier for you:
Below are names of the Democrats who were most responsible for the corruption, and ultimate failure of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. To name just a few:
1. Chris Dodd
2. Barney Frank
3. Nancy Pelosi
4. Harry Reid
5. Maxine Waters
6. Joe Biden
7. Barack Obama
8. Charles Schumer
But, don't just take my word for it. See the evidence for yourself!
What's more, See just who benefitted from the corruption and who tried to stop the corruption going on as a result of the Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac abuses - John McCain!

You also stated that you are voting for Obama, yet, you now have chosen to take off the link to his campaign site.
Why is that?
Ashamed about something?
You ought to be!
Perhaps you WILL be ashamed to admit that you would vote for Obama once you view the documented proof of Obama's part (as well as his corrupt cronies) in the Fannie and Freddie scandal.
If not, then I must conclude that despite such crucial evidence about Obama's complicity in the scandal, you choose to remain politically and ideologically blind.
Hi Spud,
Ate your friskies, I see. Well, I would really love to debate you, Mike, but there is a problem: In the past when I have tried a serious debate on the merits you would reach a certain point and then either a)ignore my questions altogether, or b) substitute a question of your own choosing and address it instead. In either case, you would add a good deal of snark completely devoid of substance.
Can you give me a reason why I should trust you to behave any differently this time around?
that's funny, gary - i would have said the same thing about you.
i knew we had more in common than we admit here...

I realize that's what you would have said about me. The difference is that if you go through the blogs and comments, my statement is supported. I'm still waiting for an answer to the question.
