It makes perfect sense! Our nation is going...Yes! It makes perfect sense! Our nation is going through a huge trial right now. The direction that our country will inevitably head depends upon WE THE PEOPLE and our words, actions, pleadings with God, and continual prayers to God. As Christians, our job is to watch, work, and wait for the Lord Jesus to returen. Meanwhile, we share the gospel of Christ with all who are willing to listen. We adhere to faith, hope, love, and charity - no matter what turmoil is going on all around us.

And the best part is knowing just Who wins in the end. Therefore, we truly have nothing to fear.

Thanks for sharing your excellent thoughts!

God bless,

ChristineChristinewjchttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18434229284833642438noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12391603.post-4310137218593475652010-04-16T09:09:11.895-07:002010-04-16T09:09:11.895-07:00did that make any sense to any one else?did that make any sense to any one else?sh007rhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16466333275227976282noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12391603.post-90966058197631412392010-04-16T09:09:11.896-07:002010-04-16T09:09:11.896-07:00Before I read what you wrote, I wanted to say I re...Before I read what you wrote, I wanted to say I really try to live w/ James 1/2 in my daily life (try is a key word there, heh)
-"Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. " This is written before the "Faith w/out deeds is dead" part, to me this means a couple things;
The trials will come during our 'deeds' even while we're trying to do good for others.
And the 'deeds' will probably be needed to get us through the trials.
Do something for someone else when you least want to or when you're 'up against it', so to say. Turning our thoughts to others during trying times WILL takes us, move us, closer to Christ.

It works every time I do it, but I don't quite do it every time I should.
Trials, just living life, FAITH develops perseverance and perseverance develops perseverance of FAITH.

Adversity brings opportunity.sh007rhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16466333275227976282noreply@blogger.com
