You...Anonymous of January 25, 2012 3:05:00 PM PST,

You did notice that it was not my intent to disparage persons who are transgender in this post. I am sharing and explaining what God's Word tells us on this issue.

Please note the post to "Empty Sack."

I think that it is tragic when people purposely mutilate themselves - for whatever reason. Even a teenager who is into "cutting" (cuts skin over and over again in a compulsive manner due to emotional or psychological problems) needs help with such a condition.

I can still recall when R. Richards (male tennis player in the 70's? I think) transgendered into Renee Richards. Years later he/she confessed that it was the wrong decision.

I don't think that Chastity/Chaz Bono wants to convince others to be trans - but I think that she/he wants to so normalize the idea that more and more young people who are confused about sexuality at young ages (who hasn't gone through SOME kind of sexual angst in their lives???) might think that what she/he did is "the answer." Someone who goes through all of that pain and suffering may severely regret it later in life (as Richards did).

Besides, NONE of us are genuinely "normal." Why? Because God's Word tells us the "all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."

Jesus Christ told us, "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except by Me." I believe this. Do you? I apologize for not responding to you...Empty Sack,

I apologize for not responding to your post back in Oct. 2011.

Being excluded from the congregation of Israel does not mean being excluded from heaven.

Please note the verse (in bold below) from Isaiah.

According to commentary from David Guzik:

A. Those excluded from the congregation of Israel.

1. (1) Eunuchs are excluded from the congregation of Israel.

He who is emasculated by crushing or mutilation shall not enter the assembly of the Lord.

a. By crushing or mutilation: This refers to those emasculated by either birth defect, accident, or by deliberate emasculation.

b. Shall not enter the assembly of the Lord: When we read this term, it usually refers to the nation gathered before the Lord in worship, such as when they were gathered at Mount Sinai (Deuteronomy 5:22; 9:10; 10:4, and 18:16). But it doesn’t always have this sense.

i. Deuteronomy 31:30 refers to all the congregation of Israel, while Deuteronomy 31:28 makes it clear that “all the congregation” was gathered through all the elders of your tribes, and your officers. So, in some contexts, the congregation can refer to elders and officers. It may very well be that these exclusions from the assembly of the Lord are exclusions not from the religious life of Israel, but from the political life of the nation.

ii. Poole suggests that the idea of the assembly of the Lord is the leadership, or the rulers of Israel. These people were barred not from the religious life of Israel, but from the political life of the nation. Trapp agrees, saying on shall not enter the assembly of the Lord: “Shall not go in and out before the people as a public officer.” Clarke adds, “If by entering into the congregation be meant the bearing a civil office among the people, such as magistrate, judge, &c., then the reason of the law is very plain.”

iii. Isaiah 56:3-5 shows that even eunuchs and foreigners could be accepted before the Lord if they would obey Him, and they would be accepted before the “normal” people who disobeyed God.

c. Shall not enter the assembly of the Lord: Eunuchs were excluded because God’s covenant with Israel was vitally connected with the idea of the seed, and emasculation is a “crime” against the seed of man. Additionally, most eunuchs were made to be so in pagan ceremonies where they were dedicated to pagan gods.Christinewjchttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18434229284833642438noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12391603.post-77932309962461203842012-01-25T15:05:17.294-08:002012-01-25T15:05:17.294-08:00Seriously? I'm a transwoman, and all I want to do is live my life with those I love. That's it. I don't want to "convince" anyone to be trans; trust me, it's not fun, nor is it cheap. I've tried to be "normal" for people like you for 24 years, and it almost ate me away. None of us wish this upon ourselves, and you folks shouldn't take us to task when you've not walked even a step in our shoes.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12391603.post-3830398304510894182011-10-13T05:36:49.113-07:002011-10-13T05:36:49.113-07:00Deuteronomy 23:1 says, ” He that is wounded in the...Deuteronomy 23:1 says, ” He that is wounded in the stones, or hath his privy member cut off, shall not enter into the congregation of the Lord.”

This passage seems to say nothing about intent at all. Just that a man without testicles or a penis shall not go to heaven?

As a man who has had to have his testicles removed I have wondered about this passage. Not too deeply, though, as I am not a believer.

You have given some interpretation in your post but you seem to imply that a man without testicles is transsexual. Is this correct? I can assure you that despite my lacking testicles I am still very much a man. With hormone replacement therapy I am very capable of sexual intercourse and the only thing I really have to worry about is explaining to a new sexual partner why my scrotum hangs empty.

I also think you ignore the brain in your post. As the saying goes, the brain is the biggest sexual organ. Science has shown that sexual identity is located in key areas of the brain and that those areas can be at conflict with a person's sex.Empty Sackhttp://twitter.com/#!/empty_sacknoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12391603.post-59823340295722089242011-09-20T19:28:39.621-07:002011-09-20T19:28:39.621-07:00I'm short on time right now, but briefly I wil...I'm short on time right now, but briefly I will say that the reason I wrote "secular humanistic paganism" is because the times we are living in are different from biblical times. Back then, there were paganistic rituals held in temples and involved belief in man-made gods.

Of course there are only two sexes. But others claim that there are more than two sexual identities and such belief comes from human imaginations and sinful behaviors. The evil spirits throughout the ages are busy tempting those who are not of God. But that's another subject.

I'm no expert in sexual identities, but from what I have gleaned from those who are "in the know" a transvestite is generally a male who likes to dress in female clothes (or vice versa). A transgender is someone who doesn't want to accept his/her sex at birth and wants to identify as the opposite sex. This may involve surgery or it may not. A transexual is someone who has surgically changed their sexual organs.

I guess that means that "Chaz" is only a transgender - not a transexual.

I think that Chastity Bono probably suffered greatly from neglect in her childhood because her celebrity parents were too busy to raise her themselves. What a tragedy.Christinewjchttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18434229284833642438noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12391603.post-74869618399121137742011-09-20T19:08:01.732-07:002011-09-20T19:08:01.732-07:00Sure, paganism makes some people crazy. But they generally don't institutionalize it, as deists do.
As far as I know, “the world” doesn't acknowledge five sexes, but five sexual identities. I'm not aware that biology classes teach about more than two. Homosexuality has long been referred to as 'the third sex', but even there, one is usually one sex or the other. Also, as far as I know, no secular humanist celebrates the destruction of Chaz Bono's sexual body parts. Such statements gain you no honor.

By the way, just what is 'secular paganism'? You say that “such pagan activities are thousands of years old”, but followers of your God have sometimes indulged in this. Christianity is commonly characterized by mostly condemning and/or forsaking sex, in contrast to other, 'pagan' religions of the past that celebrated it. (Example: the Skoptsi.) You're not trying to tell me that gay-oriented activities never occurred among Christians, are you?

Thanks to you I now know more about Chaz Bono that I ever needed to know, and I've concluded that s/he is an attention whore. Having grown up as the child of two celebrities, and bathed in their reflected glow, s/he now wants to continue it. That sounds like the narcissism you love to condemn in people.
But I think I've accomplished more in my modest life than Chaz has, and I'd still rather spend my time watching How Do They Do It? than Dancing With The Stars. Each to his own.GMpilothttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07189308176043748343noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12391603.post-18968468376978164262011-09-20T11:17:45.741-07:002011-09-20T11:17:45.741-07:00Thanks for your comment Anonymous. Dr. Keith Ablow wrote that he would have helped counsel her in her gender confusion, but it certainly doesn't help that secular humanists celebrate the destruction of her sexual body parts. It is as if there are no longer any pathologies in psychiatry or psychology. The biblical phrase, "everyone did what was right in their own eyes" comes to mind. It's more and more prevalent with each passing generation.

I think you have hit on a perfect term for it - pseudo humanism. Transgenderism is a fake existence, just as all the rest of the LGBQT lifestyles.

Thanks for your words of encouragement. I appreciate it.

Sincerely,
ChristineChristinewjchttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18434229284833642438noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12391603.post-73570465766373059622011-09-20T11:09:49.457-07:002011-09-20T11:09:49.457-07:00GMpilot -

It wasn't his idea, per se, and it certainly isn't God's idea.

You wrote:

"Further evidence, if any is needed, that religion makes people crazy."

And secular paganism doesn't make some people crazy? Your view is a good example of the double standard that you continue to spew here at this blog.

GM - you obviously didn't comprehend that such pagan activities are thousands of years old. They have been mentioned and condemned in the Bible. As Solomon once said, "there is nothing new under the sun." Just because recent generations (since the 60's) have championed "gay rights" and all of the other disordered sexual proclivities that have branched out from there doesn't mean that it's anything new. Just different labels and attitudes are prevalent today.

The sensationalism surrounding "Chaz" Bono is intentional. Her (she still has a vagina, from what I have learned, but no breasts and takes male hormones to grow a beard) "stardom" according to DWTS's bio is her activism for LGBQT rights.

Just as I had imagined, when Bono's mini-bio was presented it showed photos of her as the cute blonde little girl of Sonny and Cher. After a stint in lesbianism, she decided to transgender into a man. I feel sorry for the parents of young children who were probably caught off guard during that segment of the show. Perhaps they hadn't heard the warnings given by Dr. Keith Ablow.

It was a bit ironic. "Chaz" Bono (still a female) was partnered with a female professional dancer, yet Carson Kresley (a gay man) was heard complaining that he didn't get a male professional dancer. Hmmm....last year I wondered when that kind of "discrimination" on DWTS would be brought up. It's lucky season 13!

You asked:

"Would Jesus watch Dancing With The Stars?"

If T.V. was available during his ministry on this earth, I'm sure that he would most likely "be about his Father's business" rather than watching people dance. But since he is Diety, knows the past, present and future, and has conquered evil, sin, and death at the Cross and has ascended back to the right hand of the Father, he sees all anyway.

For 12 seasons, DWTS's presented a show where males danced with females - only. Why? Because there is a female role in dance and a male role in dance which is modeled after God's intention of creating them male and female. It's a shame that the producers of the show gave into the hype and pressure of the LGBQT agenda. IMO, the show has lost something very special because of their error in caving to secular humanistic paganism.Christinewjchttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18434229284833642438noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12391603.post-53807099932813502352011-09-20T07:10:52.642-07:002011-09-20T07:10:52.642-07:00"EVERYTHING IS PERMISSABLE;NOTHING IS FORBIDD..."EVERYTHING IS PERMISSABLE;NOTHING IS FORBIDDEN" is an expression within the tennents of occult Freemasonry. A related sentiment is "As above; So below",which is the expression that accompanies the goatheaded hermafroditic character called the "Bapomat"which is depicted pointing upward with the right hand index finger and downward with the left hand index finger simultaniously..Communism,Frremasonry and the new age cult of psudo humanism share a goal of destroying Christianity, the family as the core of western society as well as the roles and relationship between men and women.Their efforts are represented in the "Is-ims" of the 19th-20th century as well as the ten planks of Communism. It is no coincidence that "Lady Gaga" is repeaedly exposed as useing these these and many more occult symbols and gestures while promoteing this radical cult of homosexuality and this this new gender"The new Man". A man that is not a man;A woman that is neither. Many have been brainwashed ,while others ,in high places have openly pledged an oath to the doctorine of Lucifer. Prince of this realm .The original radical revolutionary. The most selfish and narsasistic of gods creations.I have sympathy for Miss Chastity Bono. She has been decieved and instead of sending her to a priest foe counciling ,she was told god made a mistake "Yes ,you are a man ". The large problem confronting us all. Christians and all others is that The halls of government, the banks,The Press and the entertainment corporations are all under the same influence of the all seeing eye.Which is the symbol of Lucifer. It's possible to be gay without being a lesbian, but it's not possible to be a lesbian without being gay. If Pastor Foster believes otherwise, he's simply wrong.

Just the thought of crushing one's testicles makes me wince. That some worshipers of Baal practiced it is probably why Baal has no priests now. Of course, Foster neglected to mention the Skoptsi of 18th-century Russia, who also cut themselves off from temptation in the name of God.
Further evidence, if any is needed, that religion makes people crazy.

What do you expect anyway? In most ancient (and many modern) cultures, women were considered fit for only one thing: breeding. They bled at inconvenient times. They were physically smaller and weaker (you don't send cows into battle, but horses). They weren't expected to think, only to obey. Even in entertainment such as theater, women could only be dancers, not actors: until about two centuries ago, womens' roles were always performed by men. Nobody seemed to think that was strange until the Enlightenment era, for some reason. I guess Flip Wilson, Jonathan Winters and every other comedian who ever put on a dress is now roasting in the Christian hell because of this.

Most people probably wouldn't even notice, if not for the sensationalism surrounding it. If they did, they'd probably think “Wow, I couldn't have done that, wouldn't have the nerve” and continue watching the show. I suspect more people than ever will watch DWTS now, at least until the novelty wears off. But I've never watched that show, and I still won't.

Would Jesus watch Dancing With The Stars?GMpilothttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07189308176043748343noreply@blogger.com
