Praying For America's Revival!

I really admire people like Stephen Baldwin. He is a Christian man with celebrity status who is willing to stick his neck out, put his gospel shoes on, and DO SOMETHING about the ills in his neighborhood.

For quite some time now, I have felt a calling to speak out and protect children and teens from sexual predators. A lot of these perverts are involved with pornography; the most despicable being the illegal scourge of child pornography on the internet.

The Lifetime movie network produced a mini-series called Human Trafficking which dealt with the awful child sex trade. It was shocking, to say the least, that such cruelty can go on in our country right under our noses.

Admittedly, sometimes the Lifetime channel presents programs that are not morally acceptable to Christian viewers, however, this series was an important eye-opener for people to realize that the thugs and gangsters of our day do not only deal in drugs, theft and other crimes. These disgusting people keep other human beings in bondage because they can make huge amounts of money selling them for sexual abuse by others. Usually, their victims are the most vulnerable of children and teens.

These are just two examples of people getting involved to stop such marketing of evil. However, I have recently been reminded that we must always be discerning and careful about who to trust in such endeavors.

A few weeks ago, I saw a sting operation that was done by Dateline. Together with a website called "perverted justice," they were able to lure child sex predators to a residential home by talking via an internet chat room and when a "date" was set up to meet for sex with a minor, the Dateline crew secretly videotaped their encounter with a Dateline crew member who exposed what they were there for.

Unfortunately, it can be hard to decipher whether or not an operation is working against child sex predators or helping them! I found this site with disturbing information about the perverted justice operation. If you read through the posts you may find differing opinions about the perverted justice operation.

The recent injustice done against a girl who was raped from age 4 to age 10 by a perv predator in his 30's REALLY BOTHERED ME! How can any judge in his right mind give a lenient sentence of 60 days to someone who has repeatedly done such a horrible crime to a little girl?? It just sickens me! !

Where is the justice for the little girl? She will most likely suffer from horrible memories of this abuse for the rest of her life! I truly believe that Jessica's law MUST BE PASSED IN ALL 50 STATES so that these sexual predators get locked up for a MINIMUM of 25 years to life. That way, they can't get out to re-offend and take another child's innocence away.

Jesus had harsh words for such predators:

Matthew 18:6 - But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and [that] he were drowned in the depth of the sea.

If that isn't a call for the need of the death penalty against such predators, then I don't know what would be!

Jamieson, Fausett and Brown commentary:

"42. For whosoever shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me--or, shall cause them to stumble; referring probably to the effect which such unsavory disputes as they had held would have upon the inquiring and hopeful who came in contact with them, leading to the belief that after all they were no better than others. it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck--The word here is simply "millstone," without expressing of which kind.

But in Mat 18:6 it is the "ass-turned" kind, far heavier than the small hand-mill turned by female slaves, as in Luk 17:35. It is of course the same which is meant here. and he were cast into the sea--meaning, that if by such a death that stumbling were prevented, and so its eternal consequences averted, it would be a happy thing for them. Here follows a striking verse in Mat 18:7 , "Woe unto the world because of offences!" (There will be stumblings and falls and loss of souls enough from the world's treatment of disciples, without any addition from you: dreadful will be its doom in consequence; see that ye share not in it). "For it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!" (The struggle between light and darkness will inevitably cause stumblings, but not less guilty is he who wilfully makes any to stumble)."

Isn't it true that sometimes a child preyed upon by a sexual predator often grows up to be a sexual offender too?

Innocence is something to be highly prized; we are responsible to preserve it in ourselves and in those around us, especially children. But there are evil and sick adults in this world who would willingly take such innocence away from a child for their own perverted sexual pleasure. UGH!!!

No wonder Jesus had such harsh condemnation for people who behave in such despicable ways!

The conscience of a normal person cannot conceive of something so terrible. We were born with our God-given consciences and those who would allow evil to permeate their souls have stripped themselves of such a conscience. They are spiritually dead.

The Old Testament calls it a "hardening of one's heart" which is what Pharaoh did when Moses' requests to let his people go were ignored. As it turned out, Pharaoh would allow the death of his own son in order to not give in to the demands of God through Moses! Even when Pharaoh did finally allow the Jewish slaves to leave, he changed his mind and pursued them yet again!

This is what the reprobate mind does. Their evil desires have overcome logic and reason and in their minds, their desire takes over their entire being. It even gets to the point where there is not hope for their salvation. It becomes an all-consuming fire within. Isn't this why child predators are the most difficult, in fact impossible to rehabilitate?

We can thank that lunatic Kinsey for much of the pain and suffering of millions of children and teens due to the onslaught of child sexual abuse that has arisen since his "research." He and his ilk have caused irreparable damage to the minds and hearts of people which has generated into a sexual predator nightmare like the one we are facing today. Kinsey's grotesque experiments have reaped several decades of continuing horror through the sexual abuse of children!

To this day, the general public (and Hollyweird) will not admit the horrific perversion that was in the man named Alfred Kinsey. The so-called "Kinsey Institute" appears to skirt the issue and still regards him in a positive light. "Institute my a-- er....foot!! The man BELONGED in an institute...a MENTAL INSTITUTE! Or, better yet...he belonged in JAIL with the perverts he hired for his disgusting and grotesque "experiments."

Dear people, you need to read David Kupelian's "Marketing of Evil." I couldn't put the book down. I was so aghast at how America has been brainwashed and duped by so many evil people who succeeded in marketing corruption and sin in such twisted ways as to deceive the hearts, minds and souls of our nation!

I am praying for a revival! A revival the likes that America has never seen before!

Lord Jesus, I pray that you will use me in this effort. Please lead me in the direction that YOU want me to go. Help me get connected with the right people and/or organization(s) that are actively involved in fighting against those who adhere to the power and works of the enemy of our souls.

Lord, Jesus, the prayer you taught us said, "and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil." Lord, I pray for a powerful deliverance from evil in our day and age as we wait with joyful hope for Your return. Amen.
