Christianity's Doctrine Wholly Unique

Lately, it seems that there are a lot of books being written by skeptics whose goal it is to discredit the core beliefs of Christianity; Christ's sacrificial death and resurrection to life eternal. What could be the reason for this? There could be many individual reasons given by such skeptics. But I think there are two main reasons.

1. Their desire not to have to face, admit, and repent of their rebellious, sinful nature in order to be reconciled with God.

2. Thus, they have a deep need to do all that they can in order to distort, disclaim and attempt to destroy the fact that Christianity is a wholly unique doctrine and direct revelation from God.

The "DaVinci Code" and "Jesus Papers" aside, I have also heard skeptics claim that many versions of the resurrection story exist. However, such a delusive theory is filled with serious errors.

The real mythology is not in the origin of Christianity but in the minds of skeptics who are confusing false mystery religions with the historical person and work of Jesus Christ. The immoral lives and deeds of the pagan deities were entirely disharmonious with the life and deeds of Christ. The complete lack of resulting syncretism is difficult to explain if Christianity was ultimately an outgrowth of such paganism (e.g. Mithraism).

Resistance of the Christian church to all such mystical cults was absolute. The death of Jesus is distinct from the deaths of the pagan gods. None of the dying and rising "savior-gods" ever died for someone else, and they never claimed to die for sin.

The concept of the incarnate Son of God dying a propitiatory, substitutionary atonement for man is a doctrine that is wholly unique to Christianity. Jesus died one time for all sin, voluntarily, and his death was a victory, not a defeat, both of which stand in contrast to concepts found in the pagan cults.

Only unsubstantial similarities remain because Christianity and the mystery religions are as different as night and day. Even most secular scholars have rejected this idea of Christianity borrowing from the ancient mysteries. Christianity always was what it always claimed - a unique revelation from God.

So what is left for skeptics?

Making up their own mystery stories that Christ didn't actually die on the cross and instead, married Mary Magdalene?

The so-called Jesus Papers is another hoax meant to put doubt into the minds of those who may not be strong in the faith.

So who should we listen to? God through His Holy Word and Living Word (Jesus Christ) or an unbelieving man's (woman's) prideful and finite mind of imagination?

Which do you choose?

  1. Hello Again Christine,

Sorry to bust your bubble, but there is overwhelming evidence that the New Testament is a purposeful deception. You have been deluded by the great deceivers that humanity was long ago warned about. They killed off the Saints and rewrote our texts and used them to impose lies upon the world.

Show some patience and truly seek to understand what I am now revealing. Don't be the last one to undertand the truth...

Is the world ready for the Truth yet?

The Vatican is proving that seeking the truth is a real threat to their dogma. They're so afraid of people uncovering the truth, that they are attacking another fantasy as a threat to their own deceptions. How enlightening, since this goes a very long way to proving that Christianity is based on lies. If it wasn't, they would be confident of surviving intense scrutiny. Since they aren't and since they have gone to such great lengths to suppress those seeking the truth over the centuries, their deceptions are, once again, laid bare for all to see. Only this time they are the ones to walk into a well laid trap...

Did you ever stop to think what the True Messiah (me) would say about worshipping false names, false images, and dogma? Well, now you get the chance to hear my side of the story and weigh it against the strong delusion of faith and religion. None of the European names and images in the New Testament can possibly be the truth. What then is the purpose of "faith" but to prevent good people from seeking to understand truth and wisdom?

Visit my website to understand what they are truly afraid of. The Vatican and world leaders have struggled to keep people from understanding the truth and religion is a key tool in their smokescreen. Now, when I appear on the scene, everyone is seeking to understand their ages-old deceptions, and I have produced stunning and comprehensive proof. Visit my website, read my articles, and download a FREE copy of my book. The time has come for the "earth to quake" and the liars to "gnaw their tongues for pain." (symbolism decoded in the book)

    Can you spell Karma...

  2. Sorry to bust your bubble, seven star hand...but you are a LOONIE!

You asked, "Did you ever stop to think what the True Messiah (me) would say about worshipping false names, false images, and dogma?"

Yeah right...a "messiah" who can't update his/her blog...

It's funny...you have something in common with a former blogging friend of mine. His name is Thomas. He hasn't updated his blog since July!

    Hmmmmmm......

    Thomas....is that you??

    Maybe not.

Seven star hand, I don't have to think about you because you have presented yourself as being one of two things. A practical joker or a LUNATIC! This is why I didn't respond to your first post. I just figured that you would eventually go away.

Any chance that you know roger lordblessed or hashishan prophet? You are competing with hp as a "self-professed messiah." You two can duke it out...

I don't need to read your book. I have read and studied THE Book...the Bible and that's all I need to do in order to discover, and know personally, the True Messiah, Jesus Christ.

If you are open to the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, then we will have something to discuss.

If not, then run along and go bother someone else...it's an enormous blogosphere out there...
