News Roundup 2/28/07

I'm baaack! Yes. As Ebsfwan so lovingly stated in his last comment:

"Good to see you back to your normal shrill form. :) "

I'm just getting warmed up!!
Don't worry Ebs...I can spot genuine "liberal love" when I see it! Hah!

So much news to catch up on! I will probably be adding to this News Roundup throughout the day so be sure to check back with your favorite shrill!

P.S. In the shrillness category, do I rank equal to, worse, or better than Glenn Beck? ;-)

Anyway...back to the Roundup:

ACLU exec busted for child-porn videos in court today

I have known about this for a few days now and was very curious to see how the MSM handled reporting it. Even though this slug is a
former ACLU exec., the fact that he was involved with eliminating child porn links at public libraries makes this a huge story. But the MSM?? Burying it or not even reporting it at all!!

See how the ACLU exists to protect children??

UGH!!!

World Net Daily Poll question:

Why is case of ex-ACLU chief accused of child porn getting little media attention?

Media are guided by advancing their agenda rather than honest reporting 45.22% (946)

I'm dumbfounded. It should be getting huge publicity since the ACLU has defended child molesters in NAMBLA 20.79% (435)

National news media are sympathetic to ACLU's left-leaning causes 19.55% (409)

When has the ACLU ever had critical media coverage? 12.48% (261)

There's no media cover-up, I've heard quite a bit about this case 0.72% (15)

It's viewed as a local child-porn case, not of national interest 0.57% (12)

Other 0.33% (7)

He's not accused of actual child abuse, only porn, so it's not considered so serious 0.19% (4)

Press figures he's innocent until proven guilty 0.14% (3)

Details are too graphic to give it lots of national play 0.00% (0)

And then there is this:

Military launches investigation into ban on top independent online news source

Want to make a bet that it was a liberal left influence that achieved this?? They don't believe in "free speech" or a "free press for a free people" unless such speech agrees with them!

*******

Speaking of our lovely lunatic liberal left dafts, how does this one grab you?

Some Americans sorry Cheney survived

Quote:

Some of Dick Cheney's many fierce enemies on the left were unable to withhold their glee today after the vice president escaped an apparent assassination attempt in Afghanistan.

So...when do we get to call these people "haters, death mongers, EVIL and treasonous b*****ds? (Sorry...but this made me SO ANGRY...many of the comments were just so over the top...)

Comments posted to the site include:

Better luck next time! (TDB)

Dr Evil escapes again ... damn. (truthtopower01)

So Cheney is personally responsible for the deaths of 14 innocent people ... and then he waddles off to lunch!! What a piece of sh--! (fantanfanny)

Jesus Christ and General Jackson too, can't the Taliban do anything right? They must know we would be so gratefull (sic) to them for such a remarkable achievement. (hankster2)

Hey, Thalia, lighten up. I, for one, don't wish Cheny (sic) had been killed. I wish he had been horribly maimed and had to spend the rest of his life hooked to a respirator. Feel better now? (raisarooney)

Let's see ... they're killing him over there so we don't have to kill him over here? (ncjohn)

And they missed!? Oh, Hell. Like Mamma used to say, I guess it's the thought that counts ... (Anachro1)

You can never find a competent suicide bomber when you need one. (Mark701)

One contributor to the string of comments, "MNCurler," echoed many others, writing: "The posts advocating for Cheney's demise really show the class of the people who post here. No wonder you can't get a civil debate on this site- we are dealing with lunatic idiots."

See?? I'm not the only one calling them LUNATICS!!

*******

'Cameron's coffin' is 2007 Easter attack

Every year, at this time, we get another attack on the foundation of the Christian faith. So typical...isn't it?

Just goes to show that "the truth is not in them" who deny Jesus Christ as Lord, Savior, Son of God, and (to Cameron and his ilk's detriment) Judge of the universe.

  1. I've no idea who Glen Beck is I'm afraid.

  2. Oops...misspelled his first name. It's Glenn Beck.

He's a conservative radio talk show host and appears on CNN Headline News (not the regular CNN channel) as host of the hour long Glenn Beck show.

Good news analysis. In addition, he's often humorous and quite entertaining!
This site has recaps of the show.

I only recently "discovered" him when I switched over to that channel. I got so sick and tired of hearing about Anna Nicole during the Hannity and Colmes show...so I went channel surfing.

  3. Glenn Beck used to be a morning radio DJ up here in CT. His show was absolutely horrible. Apparently he's since admitted that he never liked radio and has now discovered his true calling in life. Can't say I agree with him on pretty much anything, but he's much better now than he was on the radio.

  4. I haven't heard his radio program yet. Isn't he still broadcasting via radio, nationally now? I was under the impression that he does both.

So Mark, do you "love to hate" him? Would I be correct in assuming that you have seen his T.V. show?
