Talk Wisdom's goal is to defend the tenets and values of Biblical Christian faith. We defend our Constitutional Republic and Charters of Freedom, especially when speaking out against destructive social and political issues. As followers of our Savior and Lord, we should boldly stand up for Jesus Christ in our present circumstances. He is our Savior, Lord, and King, and His love needs to be shed abroad in our hearts and in our world - now.
Thank you for posting an uplifting and encouraging message for this Sunday morning before worship of the One in whom we live and move and have our being (see ACT 17:28).
I love you my little sister on the West coast. Have a wonderful day. You are something beautiful in my life. (ss)
I love that portion of Scripture. Paul's words of wisdom when he preached to those who had an altar built with the inscription "TO THE UNKNOWN GOD" are riveting.
Paul spoke with superior words and some of his listeners wanted to hear more. Yet, others mocked him when he shared the truth about the resurrection of the dead.
My latest post discusses the two destinations where each person will end up when this brief life is over. There will be those who believe and those who choose not to. For those who believe, it's something beautiful.
But to those who choose not to believe, unfortunately, it's considered foolishness to them so they end up separated from God forever.
This is why God has sent His Son. Because of faith (either in Christ or faith in other 'gods,' 'self,' or 'things'), our individual destinies will ultimately be fixed in one of two places in eternity.
Everybody's worshiping something in this life. You and I have chosen to worship Jesus. We love Him because we know that He first loved us!
Knowing Jesus Christ is knowing the One in whom we live and move and have our being. What a great and marvelous truth! How great is our God!
Hope your day was wonderful, too. Your kind encouragement here adds much beauty to my days!
