Tired of all the bad news? Yearning for some Good News lately? Then I encourage you to watch Dr. David Jeremiah's Turning Point broadcast entitled New Heaven and New Earth.
[Update: The broadcast video quality isn't very good (unfortunately) at LightSource.
Wow! After I typed this, I tried the LightSource website again and the audio on the video is clear! It's clear at David Jeremiah.org too! Thank you Lord!
The message and information is so good that I am watching it for a second time immediately after I finish writing this blog post!
You may have had some preconceived notions about heaven, what it will be like and what your new life in Jesus Christ will look like when the current "heaven and earth" pass away. I must admit that I did. However, the more that I study the Bible, read genuine, biblically based Christian authored books, and listen to excellent pastors and preachers like Dr. David Jeremiah, the confusion that can often enter my mind drifts away. I can see far more clearly than ever before. That is what this week's Turning Point program did for me! I hope that it deeply encourages you and gives you more wisdom and knowledge about what Jesus Christ meant when he stated, "I go to prepare a place for you." Dr. Jeremiah's teaching (which he backs up with the writings of several biblical scholars) explains, better than I have previously ever heard before in fact, what is specifically meant when the Bible tells us that Jesus "makes all things new."
From Dr. Jeremiah's site:
Near the end of the video, Dr. Jeremiah shares a statement made by a little girl to her mother while visiting the country and gazing up towards heaven at the night sky. She said, "Mom, if heaven is so pretty on the wrong side, what in the world is it going to look like on the right side?"
That statement will make more sense after you have viewed the entire video. Enjoy! And have a blessed Sunday!

P.S. The chorus song "Not Unto Us" which starts at 9:30 is awesome!

From Dr. Jeremiah's site:
"Out of sight, out of mind" is a proven truism--and heaven is definitely out of our human sight. The only way to keep heaven in our mind's eye is to read and rehearse the truths about heaven found in the Word of God. But even when we do that, we find there are many things about heaven that are not easy to understand. Because heaven is not like planet earth, it seems mysterious to us. Revealing the Mysteries of Heaven will answer and clarify the most important questions Christians have about their future eternal home. Pastor David Jeremiah provides answers to questions about the nature of heaven, the kinds of bodies heaven's occupants will have, why heaven will never be boring, why infants and small children will go to heaven, and the dwelling place God is preparing for Christians in heaven. Answers to those questions and more--eleven critical issues in all--are revealed in this Turning Point Television series.
