The evil players (like those in Iran) are coming out on the chess board and through utilizing a sleight of hand, they DICTATE what they perceive as their moment of victory. However, Christians know better! Whatever "victory" that they perceive on the horizon will ultimately be short-lived. How do I know? The prophecies of the Bible can be trusted because all 300 or so that were predicted about the coming Messiah were mostly fulfilled in the Person of Jesus Christ at his First Coming into this world. We can look with confidence that the final prophecies regarding Jesus Christ at his Second Coming and the culmination of history at the end of the world (as we know it, prior to the Millennium) will be fulfilled and come to fruition as well. Bottom line...GOD AND ISRAEL WIN!
As for those who would follow the 12th Imam (the Mahdi) in the religion of Islam, the FACT that he would be against Israel and the Jews proves that he will be a type of false prophet against the God of the Bible. Will he be THE Antichrist? I don't know. But he will certainly be a type of antichrist. Jesus warned us in Scripture that there will be (and already are) many antichrists in the world.
1Jo 2:18 Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour.- NKJV - Blue Letter Bible
1Jo 2:22 Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist who denies the Father and the Son.
1Jo 4:3 and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.
2Jo 1:7 For many deceivers have gone out into the world who do not confess Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.
Meanwhile, we do as Christ commanded. We watch, work, and wait for His glorious appearing. Whether one will be on this earth (physically speaking) or watching from heaven depends on where you are (spiritually speaking) when the Rapture occurs.
Back to the dangerous game.
While reading a fascinating article over at Pam Geller's Atlas Shrugs blog, I noticed several inconsistencies and blatant words of extreme hypocrisy being spewed by the radical Islamic regime's puppet man - that lunatic Iminajihad, and that awful and deadly maniacal Islamic terrorist, the Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. I found at least 11 instances of inconsistencies and/or displays of hypocrisy. See if you can pick them out (or find more!) in this copy:

US, Israel will soon exit Middle East: Ahmadinejad
Finally, under the Obama regime Iran's genocidal aspirations seem possible.
US, Israel will soon exit Middle East: Ahmadinejad By Mohammad Davari (AFP) – 16 hours ago
TEHRAN — President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Friday that a new Middle East is being created which would be free of the United States and Israel, as he backed the Arab uprisings but warned Egyptians to be watchful of America's "friendly face."
Massive crowds of Iranians, waving flags and chanting "Death to Mubarak!" and "Death to America!" descended on Tehran's Azadi Square (Freedom Square) to listen to the hardliner who lashed out at the West and Israel in a speech marking the 32nd anniversary of the Islamic revolution.
"We will soon see a new Middle East materialising without America and the Zionist regime and there will be no room for world arrogance (the West) in it," Ahmadinejad told the cheering crowds who gathered despite the cold and cloudy weather.
In a speech directed in good part at the Arab uprisings, Ahmadinejad said Egyptians need to be careful of the United States.
"They (the United States) have adopted a friendly face and saying 'we are friends of people of North Africa and Arab countries', but be watchful and united. You will be victorious," he said.
"Iranian nation is your friend and it is your right to freely choose your path. Iranian nation backs this right of yours."
Iran, which has no diplomatic ties with Egypt, has expressed its support to the uprising there, with supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei calling for installing an Islamic regime in the world's most populous Arab nation.
In his fiery style, Ahmadinejad, showed his messianic beliefs on Friday, saying the world was witnessing a revolution managed by Imam Mehdi, the 12 Shiite imam who disappeared as a five-year-old in the 10th century and who Shiites believe would return on the judgement day.
"The final move has begun. We are in the middle of a world revolution managed by this dear (12th Imam). A great awakening is unfolding. One can witness the hand of Imam in managing it," said Ahmadinejad, wearing his trademark jacket.
Ahmadinejad, who has often denied the Holocaust, said the United States is an "accomplice to the oppression of the Zionist regime."
"If you want people to trust you, first of all do not interfere in affairs of the region, including in Tunisia and Egypt. Let them be by themselves," he said.
"Come and take away the Zionist regime which is the source of all crimes... take it away and liberate the region. Free the region and give it to the people and take this regime, which is the child of Satan (the United States), out."
Crowds of Iranians chanted pro-Egypt and anti-US slogans as they participated in the regime-organised anniversary celebrations -- a yearly rallying point for the Islamic regime.
Chants of "Marg bar Mubarak (Death to Mubarak)", "Egyptians, Tunisians, your uprisings are just and we are with you" and "Hosni Mubarak 'mubarak' (congratulations) on the uprising of your people!" were heard in streets of Tehran.
Similar marches were taking place in provincial cities.
The 1979 revolution toppled the monarchy of shah Mohammad Reza, a key US ally in the region. Diplomatic relations between Tehran and Washington were broken off soon after and remain so to this day.
"Death to America! Death to Israel!" chanted the crowd as they carried Iranian flags, banners and posters of Iranian revolutionary leader Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, who led the uprising against the shah, and of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the nation's supreme leader.
The European Union is boycotting events marking the anniversary in protest at the hanging of Zahra Bahrami, an Iranian-Dutch woman executed by Tehran, a diplomatic source said.
The Netherlands has condemned the hanging of Bahrami, who was initially arrested during mass protests over Ahmadinejad's disputed 2009 re-election, which sparked a deadly crackdown, but executed on drug smuggling charges.
Her execution prompted the Dutch government to freeze all diplomatic contact with what it labeled a "barbarous regime" in Iran.
During last year's anniversary rally, Iran's opposition had attempted to stage anti-government demonstrations which were crushed by security forces and the Basij militiamen.
Since then the opposition supporters have stayed off Tehran streets but their leaders Mir Hossein Mousavi and Mehdi Karroubi have sought to hold a rally on Monday in support of Arab uprisings in the region.
But critics say their plan is to garner their supporters and attempt to stage an anti-government demonstration.

** One book (outside the Bible) that I highly recommend is Dr. David Jeremiah's "What in the World is Going On: Ten Prophetic Clues You Cannot Afford to Ignore."
Chapter Eight: The New Axis of Evil has in depth analysis of Ezekiel's prophecies regarding the coming invasion of Israel by the surrounding Arab nations. It is truly scary to see what this ganging up on Israel will be like. Only God can rescue his people! This fascinating chapter ends with much hope:
(See Ezekiel 39:25-29)
Thus Ezekiel ends his monumental prophecy on a high note, extolling God's tender love and compassion toward His people. No matter how great the evil in men's hearts, no matter how much destruction and death that evil brings about, God's ultimate purpose in confronting that evil, in revealing His glory among the nations and in bringing His own from the lands of the enemy is always to accomplish the salvation of His people.
There is nothing to fear with God in control! Present events will lead to the ultimate accomplishment of God's purposes - and we know what they are through His Living Word, Jesus Christ, and His written Word, the Bible!

If, as you say, “GOD AND ISRAEL WIN!”, then why do you sound so concerned about Iran and the rest of the Middle East?
After all, you already know the script: wars and rumors of wars, unrest in the region, behind-the-scenes manipulation by Gog and Magog LLC, the rise of the Antichrist (who changes identity each decade), the Final War, culminating with Jesus riding to the rescue to save a 'remnant' of humanity as he's always done...and the glorious, beatific world the survivors will inhabit. Right?
Since the battle is already won, why do you sound so concerned? I don't understand that.
”Jesus warned us in Scripture that there will be (and already are) many antichrists in the world.”
Thanks to John, whom you quoted, we know that there have already been many antichrists in the world. Obviously, none of them made the final cut. What makes you believe that Ahmadinejad (or any successor) or any other figure in that region is the real thing?
Change a few words that Ahmadinejad spoke and they could have come from any Soviet diplomat of thirty years ago...and are just as believable.
It's just not wise to celebrate victory before the battle. The Japanese Navy did that at Midway, and we all know how that turned out.
But you see GM, the victory IS won. Jesus Christ has risen from the dead.
The Gospel is all one needs to know to have such confidence.
You're worldly advice that "it is not wise to celebrate victory before the battle" doesn't apply when it comes to God's Truth.
Of course, it is difficult for non-believers, like you, to understand.
And one would be even remotely surprised at the fact that the idiot in Iran is sounding off?
We can all agree that Mubarak was a tyrant in the eyes of his people and deservedly so. And people here in the West cannot begin to imagine the hardships and travails of life in a country like Egypt or for that matter any Third World country, be it Egypt, Sudan or whatever. Too many of the citizens of the U.S., even if they were to look at it, are too busy whining about their own supposed problems to even consider what’s going on around the world. So be it. That’s what class warfare and the entitlement society have done to us.
However, as we look deeper into the Egyptian situation, we can see a rather disturbing pattern emerging. Listen to the talking heads of the MSM. Listen to the President and his out of touch administration, Hell, they can’t even get their stories straight. Hillary says one thing. Clapper says another. And the President openly welcomes the very element that can and will destroy Egypt and in turn put Israel and the West in dire straits. Of course I and many others will be called alarmists, racists or Anti-Muslim bigots for pointing this out, but it has to be said.
One only has to remember the Iran situation. Yes, the Shah as far as the people of Iran were concerned was a despot. As the people rallied there, the talking heads including our good buddy “lost in space Carter” went on and on about how the Ayatollah was in fact a moderate Muslim who would bring peace and open Democracy to the country. I distinctly remember the few brave souls who had done their homework and warned of the impending disaster that was coming. As it is now, they were branded as subversive or worse. The world sat back and we all know what has transpired since then.
As the Iran situation came to a head, the morons in the press and government here in the States put out the fallacy that the people of Iran, having grown use to the Freedoms they did have and their supposed love for all thing U.S. would in fact turn their back on radical Islamic fundamentalism and continue to embrace and expand the Western ideals to which they had grown accustomed to. Well, we all know how that worked out! Typical head in the sand gobbley goop from the West and presto!, an Islamic hell was born.
While one can hope the army there can keep the order and help transition to a free government, the chances of that happening in my view are slim at best. First, let’s take a look at the army. They have always been the power in Egypt since the overthrow of King Furuk. No secret there. Will they give up power?
As there is a vacuum in leadership right now can we assume the radical movements, those that any idiot can see are the best organized will in fact take their shots at power? You can bet your ass they will. The head of the Muslim Brotherhood is a known terrorist with a deep seated hatred for Israel. As we move forward, one has to assume they along with infiltrators from other radical Muslim states will do their best to install a Radical regime in Egypt.
It took about 30 days from the overthrow of the Shah, to the Ayatollah’s homecoming and then an almost instant plunge in radical Muslim horror that is now Iran. Is this what one wants for Egypt? And what about Israel? As we have a President who seems hell bent on hastening her destruction, will we come to the aid of Israel when the crap really hits the fan? If Egypt is taken over in the end by the radicals, will Israel survive? Hell, let’s not even go into the oil situation right now or the fact the Egypt controls the Suez Canal. At least Mubarak was honor bound to a treaty and kept too it. Can one even think for one moment that any radical faction will not immediately turn on Israel?
Which brings us back to the original question: if everything's going according to plan, why do you sound so concerned? You should be celebrating!
Well said, joetote. All we can do now is wait and see what happens over there.
The statistics that I have heard on Fox News about how many Egyptians think that Sharia law is a good thing is scary. Would the people there hesitate to allow the Muslim Brotherhood to take over? Probably not. But hopefully the army is stronger and will resist such an attempt.
Why are people (and especially Democrat leaders) here in the U.S. so blind to the dangers of radical Islam?
David Cameron has given the world a warning about letting multiculturalism get out of hand (like it has in England) and how the Muslim infiltration (due to the "anything goes" Muslim immigration policy there) has led to highly alarming Islamic terrorism in his country. But will America wake up and heed such a warning? Probably not.
Thanks for your well informed comment!
Giving warnings to others via this blog IS part of the plan!
As a Christian believer, it is my duty to share what I know about the Bible and end times prophecy.
Jesus told us that "in this world we will have trouble." Isn't that a warning too?
But he didn't end there. He also said, "But take heart for I have overcome the world."
I celebrate that fact every day!
God doesn't "decide" what happens in a person's life; though He knows what will happen. The 'decisions' are our own. When God gave commandment to Abraham to kill his son, God knew what Abraham was going to do. But the choice was Abraham's. The entire thing was not for God's sake or benefit ... but entirely for Abraham's.
