Talk Wisdom's goal is to defend the tenets and values of Biblical Christian faith. We defend our Constitutional Republic and Charters of Freedom, especially when speaking out against destructive social and political issues. As followers of our Savior and Lord, we should boldly stand up for Jesus Christ in our present circumstances. He is our Savior, Lord, and King, and His love needs to be shed abroad in our hearts and in our world - now.

A Quick Note
For those who read my letter Cain married a close relative, and want to read the additional information about lifespans, please click here: A Question Explained.
Christine, quoting Geisler & Howe: ”The Bible is not alone in speaking of hundreds of years life spans among ancients. There are also records from ancient Greek and Egyptian times that speak of humans living hundreds of years.”
So what was the cause of human lifespans decreasing—punishment from their gods? There are also Greek and Egyptian records of gods coming to earth, walking among men, performing miracles and such, but Geisler and Howe, and certainly not you, give any credibility to those. I wonder why.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I think I’ll actually look up When Critics Ask. Since incest is prohibited, the obvious question arises about Lot and his daughters (Gen 19).
