April Fools Day a Federal Holiday?

Ha ha! Doug Powers saves me the effort in creating an "April Fools" post.

"April Fools Day: The Only Truly Government Holiday," describes the current craziness going on in Congress perfectly! As Doug stated here:

Fools errands and trying to trick people into believing something false? If that’s not politics, I don’t know what is! Come on, Congress, vote to give yourselves some deserved recognition by making April Fools Day a Federal holiday.
