The Gospel According to Job

Before I get to Dr. David Jeremiah's lesson in the series on the book of Job called "Tried, Tested, and Triumphant", I want to share a personal story.

Many years ago, I gave my mother (who, at the time was a devout Catholic) the NIV Bible which had study notes at the bottom of each page. I thought that it would help her understand the passages better. This was shortly after I had re-dedicated my life to the Lord back in the 90's. I wanted to be sure that my family members were saved through the Cross of Jesus Christ.

When I gave her the Bible, I suggested that she start reading the book of John. That was the book that I was studying with a women's Bible study group in my neighborhood. Shortly after finishing that study, I stood up in the church I was attending and re-dedicated my life to Jesus Christ. This led to a turning point in my life. I became very active at the church and an avid Bible reader. I attended many Bible studies - including Bible Study Fellowship intensive studies on The Life of Moses, and the writings of John. But I did not have any in-depth study on the book of Job.

Back to my mother's story.

Instead of reading the book of John, she decided to read the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. Well, she didn't get very far. She stopped at the book of Job. Apparently, what happened to Job so disturbed her, she decided not to continue reading and studying the Bible. My heart sank when she told me that. Ever since, I have tried to share the Gospel with her, hoping and praying that she would be saved. When my father became born again just months before his death from terminal cancer in 1995, my mom was in the room and prayed the prayer of salvation with us. But only God knows whether or not her decision was genuine. I pray that it was. She now suffers from Alzheimer's disease and the last time that I shared the Gospel during my visit with her (and my Aunt Alex), she fell asleep at the table.

Have you ever encountered someone who couldn't understand why God allowed what happened to Job? Have you ever bristled at the tragedy of Job's life while he was being afflicted by Satan? Have you ever questioned God's mercy because of all that was allowed and done to Job?

My partial answer might be that's what evil does. But of course, that statement does not include the most important part of the answer.

Each of us could probably ask those same questions about your own life or someone you love. Why did they have to go through that suffering? It's a question that we all would like to have the answer to, I'm sure. I can't say that I have all the answers. I don't. But God DOES have all the answers, and if we just seek out those answers in Scripture, the AH HA! moments will be quite amazing - and even startling.

We get a hint about my recent "startling moment" in the introductory paragraphs about Tried, Tested, and Triumphant - The Book of Job.

When someone we know is going through a time of suffering and trial, a reference to Job is often mentioned in some context. We feel comfortable referencing Job as the ultimate example, but do we really know his story? Do we really understand the circumstances of his suffering? Job is a complex story of one man's journey from blessing to despair, from affluence to poverty, and respect to ridicule. Dr. Jeremiah unfolds this story verse-by-verse and chapter-by-chapter allowing us to witness every aspect of Job's challenging journey. In the end, we leave with not only a shining example to encourage us in our faith--we come away with the peace of knowing that God is in control of all things and that He will use every circumstance in our lives to reveal His grace and glory.

When times are tough we often lean on our friends for support, love, and understanding. Job was not so fortunate in this matter because his group of friends ended up criticizing and condemning him instead of encouraging him. But instead of offering a defense to his friends, Job offered up his defense to God. In turn, he revealed what a majestic, holy, and all-powerful God that he served then--and that we still serve today.

Obama’s scientific experts did--indeed--provide the dictator-in-chief with his requested--demanded--report. However, it did not go far enough for The Obama. So, Obama’s Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar surreptitiously “added” a few paragraphs at the end of the report suggesting the experts had recommended a cessation in drilling for oil. But, nothing could be further from the truth. The experts--via Ken Arnold--advised Fox News: “None of us actually reviewed the [Salazar revised] memorandum as it is in the report." Arnold said that it was a false addition and that not one of those preparing the report had recommended any cessation in drilling. In fact, he and the other experts said that doing so would be devastating to the US economy. Surprise! Obama & Co lied again in order to get their way. Salazar, of course, said he was sorry for the lie. But as we know, in ObamaLand, the end--whatever is employed by the Marxists to get there--justifies ANY means used and being a Marxist-Democrat means saying you’re sorry is all that’s needed. And the ObamaMedia will continue to largely ignore the oppression.

Obama’s Police State Begins in earnest

Obama now has had his Congressional minions--aka US Senators--propose a bill that will give the dictator total and uncontrolled seizure under anything Obama deems to be an “emergency”. Note: We suggest this “emergency” applies to the spreading of truth to We-the-People; especially but not limited to elections. Obama is now--officially--Hugo Chavez’ twin brother--only worse.

Obama will be borrowing more money Americans will have to pay back to clean up other nations for the deliberate criminal dithering he has played out.

There are absolutely no doubts in this. This all could have been handled as the Saudi's did in their massive spill, but Obama denied, defied and dithered any action to take place to alieviate this until a month into this. It is all so completely Obama motive in repeated criminal process that I honestly wonder how long it is going to take a united voice from the pundits to point out what this blog has revealed from the beginning in Obama deliberately did all this.

Obama is thee most heinous environmental holocaust instigator since Saddam Hussein, and if the Gulf were Jews instead of gulls, he would have even surpassed Adolf Hitler's final solution.

I state none of that lightly as Obama wiped out deliberately the GOP Gulf States. He is in process destroying 1 million jobs there in a Super Depression.

For those who have not been listening, there is ONE STATE in North Dakota which has been sinking a hundred oil wells, has an economic surplus, has made hundreds of millionaires.........AND BARACK OBAMA IS CURRENTLY IMPLEMENTING A TAX ON CRUDE OIL IN AMERICA TO DESTROY THAT GOP STATE NOW TOO.

I realize that Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh and Mark Levin are too good of souls to even contemplate that someone like Obama would be in a conspiracy to destroy individual GOP States, and deliberately pollute an entire gulf just to keep money flowing to his Muslim oil mafia and European banking cronies as America is disassembled by him from within so he can set up a thugocracy perpetual power Obamanation, it is time Paul Revere in this ride from this blog echo in the minds of talkers for them to finally grasp how heinous B. Hussein Obama is, as that is what the evidence is.

This Hillary Clinton supporter seems fitting in following up Bill Clinton's comment in 2008 in Africa that pointed the direction at Obama was illegitimate to be President.

The Clinton's have known for years that Obama was undocumented, but were facing the reality of what happened earlier in Bill had sold uranium out from under the European cartel to the Chinese.

The cartel found it necessary to punish the Clintons and the deal was blackmail in those criminal charges against Sen. Hillary Clinton in New York were dropped, and she could run in 2008, be humiliated, but upon redeeming herself as a good soldier and Bill humiliated as a racist about that "bright boy", would be allowed back in to be Sec. of State.

The Clinton's have been hovering around since then waiting for the RFK betrayal of LBJ as Obama's poll numbers plummet like Johnson's did.

It is not a stretch in Obama stating he would not run again in being a reality of all of this blackmail as Obama appears to have figured out his time is short, he is no longer worth anything after handing trillions over to the European cartel, and the best he can hope for is fleeing the scene with either Hillary or the GOP signing off not to expose all of this illegality "for the good of the country".

As was exclusive here, in laying out Joe Sestak is nothing but a political officer working for the Clintons, the entire Richard III play is being acted out before American eyes.

What I find most reprehensible in this, are the long list of conspirators in this, which include Republican governor Linda Lingle. This traitor to John McCain and Sarah Palin with the entire American nation for her pathetic criminal state is on the same level with Chris Matthew's toe jam.

Hawaii as this blog exclusively reported has been a criminal clearing house for illegals for a generation, which had to do with federal subsidies in welfare. They registered everything that moved and made Americans out of foreigners, and the biggest fraud was B. Hussein Obama.

In legal terms, every Sec. of State who illegally certified Obama without proof of natural born Citizenship is guilty of sedition, and that includes the entire Congress and those 5 liberal traitors on the Supreme Court led by Anthony Kennedy voting with the Obama pack of treachery.

What though, Linda Lingle did with the entire state of Hawaii was beyond overthrowing the Government of these United States, she went to the extreme of covering up the thousands of felony registrations of illegals in Hawaii, including Obama in a conspiracy of felonies against the American People.

See Linda Lingle could have stopped this, but chose not to. She not only chose not to, but to cover up her state's crimes and her failure of duty, she went public and lied about claiming there was a real Obama birth certificate, which witness to the reality in Tim Adams, testifies that there is no such document.

This blog has the glaring exclusive question which no one has asked Gov. Linda Lingle and state and national Hawaiian government that in light of all the bribes Obama handed out on Obamacare, Romanoff, Sestak, Johnson, Biden etc... just what did Linda Lingle get from Obama as a bribe to instigate this cover up?

We know Hawaii was held up as a model for national health care, which was an absolute fraud, but something glaring has come out in Obama has been pushing in stealth with the Hawaiians a Native Hawaiian Government Reorganization.

And what in the heck is that?

Well first it was hid in an almost trillion dollar Pentagon funding bill. Odd place to put something like that isn't it?

What this is, is what the Bureau of Indian Affairs has been for over a century is a money pit for swindlers who will now give "Native American Rights" to Hawaiians, who already are Americans.
If you look around America in the mafia Indian casinos making a fortune, this is what is up with this cash cow on many fronts. Literally by this bill, these Hawaiians are now recognized as a separate people, can issue their own passports and are a nation inside yet outside these United States.

This is a bribe to vote Democratic for another Obama cash cow faction like Mexican illegals in SEIU unions.

Linda Lingle was against this Obama sedition of America, but yet she is covering up Obama's past.

In searching for links, Linda Lingle surprised this blog in being Hawaii's first Jewish Governor. Considering the immense secular Jewish support for Obama in 2008, and David Axelrod and Rahm Emanuel are Ashkenaz, this appears the most logical link with a Haaretz quote:

Lingle says she has never discussed Israel-related issues with Palin. "But Senator McCain's commitment to Israel is strong and well-known, and I assure your readers that he would not put someone on that ticket who did not have the same feelings. Certainly he has discussed those issues. Government Palin is a very religious person, and the religious Christians are the greatest supporters of Israel."

I thought Linda Lingle was an American, an American Governor, so what is she making statements to Jews about concerning Israeli leverages issues within the executive office?

I frankly in my various heritage backgrounds have never once looked at any Presidential Candidate on the grounds of how they would treat my Eurasian roots.
Linda Lingle did, so is it possible that somewhere in the secular Jewish Government of the State of Israel, that a deal was set where Lingle would hide Obama's missing birth certificate in exchange for quid pro quo to the Israeli state, allowing Obama to make coup attempts to install Ehud Barak?

B. Hussein Obama and his cast of crooks has shown that bribery is the first choice and only choice in dealing with his crimes. This blog submits the evidence looks like the Democrats were bought off on the "native" cash cow money flow, and Lingle signed off on this for some Jewish state perks.
That is of course if she doesn't end up with a bag full of Obama bucks or some other offered up job that Sean Hannity, Mark Levin, Joseph Farah or Aaron Klein are not going to stumble upon now.

Linda Lingle could have done all this to stop embarrassment for Hawaii certifying a fraud. She could have also just as easily had a Sestak moment, as Obama did jet to Hawaii after Gram was dead for some missing reason, and then left Madelyn in a crypt for months until he got around to another rose toss.

Tim Adams charges now place multiple felonies, conspiracy against these United States and other frauds on the indictment of Linda Lingle. She knowingly conspired and did this, as Tim Adams states there is no Obama birth certificate after his working in the elections there.

It is obvious what Hawaiian Democrats got as a bribe from Obama. The question is now what bribe did Linda Lingle get to sell out America?

Certainly explains a lot about this mystery, doesn't it?

Previously, I included a link to a detailed report about the fact that the Hawaiian Government Officials have been covering up the decades old habit of issuing birth certificates (without documented proof through the existence of vault-length COLB) for foreign-born children entering the state. It is only because one such child became president that their illegal scheme was discovered. When I find that post, I will include it here.

This does shed some light on why Obama refuses to release his bona fide documents. However, there are still MANY more questions that need to be answered. Some day, the truth will come out. It always does.

It's About Overwhelming the System

I was chastised by Kevin for putting to many links in my last post. Awwww....poor baby! In the comment thread of my last post Kevin commented that what he viewed on the COMMUNIST organization videos over at the New Zeal blog is that the people are being "just fine" and "hav(ing) a good message" - and "People wanted something different."

I nearly fell off my chair!

I think it is all highly dangerous Marxo-Islamo-Fascism that he and his cronies want to instill here in America. There is NOTHING GOOD about any of those ideologies!

Rahm Emanuel cynically said, "You never want a crisis to go to waste." It is now becoming clear that the crisis he was referring to is Barack Obama's presidency.

Obama is no fool. He is not incompetent. To the contrary, he is brilliant. He knows exactly what he's doing. He is purposely overwhelming the U.S. economy to create systemic failure, economic crisis and social chaos -- thereby destroying capitalism and our country from within.

Barack Obama is my college classmate (Columbia University, class of '83). As Glenn Beck correctly predicted from day one, Obama is following the plan of Cloward & Piven, two professors at Columbia University. They outlined a plan to socialize America by overwhelming the system with government spending and entitlement demands. Add up the clues below. Taken individually they're alarming. Taken as a whole, it is a brilliant, Machiavellian game plan to turn the United States into a socialist/Marxist state with a permanent majority that desperately needs government for survival ... and can be counted on to always vote for bigger government. Why not? They have no responsibility to pay for it.

-- Universal health care. The health care bill had very little to do with health care. It had everything to do with unionizing millions of hospital and health care workers, as well as adding 15,000 to 20,000 new IRS agents (who will join government employee unions). Obama doesn't care that giving free health care to 30 million Americans will add trillions to the national debt. What he does care about is that it cements the dependence of those 30 million voters to Democrats and big government. Who but a socialist revolutionary would pass this reckless spending bill in the middle of a depression?

-- Cap and trade. Like health care legislation having nothing to do with health care, cap and trade has nothing to do with global warming. It has everything to do with redistribution of income, government control of the economy and a criminal payoff to Obama's biggest contributors. Those powerful and wealthy unions and contributors (like GE, which owns NBC, MSNBC and CNBC) can then be counted on to support everything Obama wants. They will kick-back hundreds of millions of dollars in contributions to Obama and the Democratic Party to keep them in power. The bonus is that all the new taxes on Americans with bigger cars, bigger homes and businesses helps Obama "spread the wealth around."

-- Make Puerto Rico a state. Why? Who's asking for a 51st state? Who's asking for millions of new welfare recipients and government entitlement addicts in the middle of a depression? Certainly not American taxpayers. But this has been Obama's plan all along. His goal is to add two new Democrat senators, five Democrat congressman and a million loyal Democratic voters who are dependent on big government.

-- Legalize 12 million illegal immigrants. Just giving these 12 million potential new citizens free health care alone could overwhelm the system and bankrupt America. But it adds 12 million reliable new Democrat voters who can be counted on to support big government. Add another few trillion dollars in welfare, aid to dependent children, food stamps, free medical, education, tax credits for the poor, and eventually Social Security.

-- Stimulus and bailouts. Where did all that money go? It went to Democrat contributors, organizations (ACORN), and unions -- including billions of dollars to save or create jobs of government employees across the country. It went to save GM and Chrysler so that their employees could keep paying union dues. It went to AIG so that Goldman Sachs could be bailed out (after giving Obama almost $1 million in contributions). A staggering $125 billion went to teachers (thereby protecting their union dues). All those public employees will vote loyally Democrat to protect their bloated salaries and pensions that are bankrupting America. The country goes broke, future generations face a bleak future, but Obama, the Democrat Party, government, and the unions grow more powerful. The ends justify the means.

-- Raise taxes on small business owners, high-income earners, and job creators. Put the entire burden on only the top 20 percent of taxpayers, redistribute the income, punish success, and reward those who did nothing to deserve it (except vote for Obama). Reagan wanted to dramatically cut taxes in order to starve the government. Obama wants to dramatically raise taxes to starve his political opposition.

With the acts outlined above, Obama and his regime have created a vast and rapidly expanding constituency of voters dependent on big government; a vast privileged class of public employees who work for big government; and a government dedicated to destroying capitalism and installing themselves as socialist rulers by overwhelming the system.

Add it up and you've got the perfect Marxist scheme -- all devised by my Columbia University college classmate Barack Obama.

Personally, I still think that Obama is just the puppet and the rich, evil puppeteers are operating the strings of destruction. Mr. Root gives Obama too much credit for creating ways to pull off this ongoing destruction of our Constitutional Republic.

God help us! And...I think He will. All things work together for good for those who love the Lord.

Former United States Ambassador to the United Nations, John Bolton, had comforting words regarding Obama. When he is voted out of office, his terrible policies can, and will be overturned.

I hope that he gets booted out sooner than 2012. Perhaps the Blago trial * (or, any one of the other lawsuit cases against him) will bring an indictment down against him and force him from office.

Is Eco-Terrorism Involved in Gulf Oil Disaster?

Despite the fact that I was tired last night, my mind was reeling about this gangster administration and the Gulf Oil Disaster. The trouble and staggering reality of it all would not allow me to fall asleep. Two things were deeply disturbing to me. Usually, having a small bowl of cereal, laying on the couch and watching the news lulls me to sleep quite easily. However, for some reason, my typical "help me get to sleep" routine didn't work. I was highly bothered by two things.

1. What Glenn Beck presented on his program yesterday. In fact, I watched the show for a second time at 11:00 p.m. PT. Glenn's points were made even more clear after viewing the show again.

So many questions kept coming to my mind!!

Why isn't Obama meeting with the BP CEO?

Why aren't those in charge utilizing any of the ideas that have been put out there by individuals to clean up the oil slick and plug the hole in the pipe? People...SOMETHING IS TERRIBLY WRONG IN THIS SCENARIO!!

Why was Nancy Pelosi shouted down for 30 minutes by the liberal far left lunatics that they have embraced in the Democratic party?

Why didn't Nancy Pelosi fear these Code Pink radicals at the meeting - like she claimed to fear the TEA Party protesters who haven't done any violence and have NEVER thrown anything at her?

Why was James Carville so openly furious with the Obama Administration's lack of attention and help in this disaster? Don't they usually protect the Resident in Chief from criticism?

There are many more questions, but these will do for now.

Weeks ago, I mentioned to my husband that there are conspiracy theorists who think that Obama was using this disaster to ruin the oil drilling industry in America so that he could pass Cap and Trade. He thought that was highly unlikely. He didn't think that even Obama could be that evil! Well, someone has finally asked a very important question that has probably been on the minds of many Americans since over 50 days have gone by and NOTHING is being done to stop the spewing of oil into the Gulf. After all, didn't Rahm "dead fish" Emanuel once state that "we should never let a good crisis go to waste?"

This is a topic that comes under the banner of "Talk Wisdom Reports - You Decide."

Is Obama an eco-terrorist or a bungler? You decide.

If the US government had ok’d the Dutch offer for oil spill cleanup assistance,tendered three days after the BP spill leading to the greatest ecological disaster of all time, Louisiana would not be cleaning up its beaches and the backs of oil-smeared pelicans. Its fishermen and shrimp boats would still be on the job. And there would have been no need to destroy tens of thousands of offshore oil platform jobs as Obama has done by issuing a halt order on most offshore drilling. Help was available, but Obama was likely following Rahm Emanuel’s advice not to let a good crisis go to waste. Can you say Scoundrel-in-Chief now? Please try it. It’s cathartic.

I am about to say what most of you have been thinking all along:

How dare a president who once promised to clean up our planet deliberately delay a desperately needed cleanup of our precious Gulf for the obvious purpose of creating an excuse to deny offshore drilling permits — and at a time when the jobs on these oil platforms are so desperately needed?

The slanderous, clueless media lambasted Bush mercilessly for waiting 2 and a half hours to make a decision to send help after he learned the levee had broken in New Orleans.

Let’s see: it has been almost 2 months now. Only about 45 days after the spill, after untold amounts of fish and wildlife have been killed and injured, is your government preparing to accept assistance that was tendered by one of the most credible agencies imaginable – the Dutch government – just three days after the spill.

There can only be two possible explanations:

Ecoterrorism, the deliberate destruction of habitat, is generally attributed to lone vigilante types acting out their own impulses in a mad effort to influence public opinion and hence government regulation. Yet, what has happened to our Gulf these last 40 some days suggests that ecoterrorism may well have entered government, with the possible collaboration of high ranking persons in the business sector. I know that may sound off the wall, but consider the open, known Marxists surrounding this president and the degree to which business is increasingly partnered with government, in a scheme more and more observers are calling either fascism or corporatism. Free market capitalism has all but vanished.

There is only one other possibility:

Obama is clueless. Without a clue, with no palpable science, technology or business background, and therefore having no idea which experts to trust, Obama would have simply let the Gulf be permanently destroyed rather than get involved and show his profound ignorance and total incompetence as a problem solver.

Those are your two options:

Either high level ecoterror, or incompetence. Or maybe a combination of the two?

If Obama were competent to sit in the Oval Office, this would be criminal.

But you know what? I am feeling generous. I’m willing to give Barack Obama the benefit of the doubt. Let’s let him off the hook and just call him an incompetent bungling idiot.

At any rate, this late acceptance of an early offer is the first glimmer of real hope — by June 13, they should be starting what could have — and should have – been started on April 23.

If any of you are letting that old “respect for the office” routine interfere with normal brain activity, it is high time to kick that habit right now and switch on your brain again. You’ll need it no later than November to vote out the bottom-feeding scum that rubber stamps everything our Marxist-in-Chief asks for.

It’s cleanup time in Washington too!

If you watched Glenn's show yesterday, you will see that there is a definite divide between the Democrat politicians and the far left Marxist revolutionaries (like Code Pink) who shouted at Pelosi, "WE WANT OUR MONEY AND WE WANT IT NOW!" They want PAY BACK for getting Obama elected! They were apparently promised certain things and since these "things" are not happening fast enough, they are angry and lashing out at their former politician pals. [See Daily Thought Pad for segments of the Glenn Beck show.]

At the end of his presentation, Glenn asked the question, "where does Obama fit in?" Is he in with the politicians or the far left revolutionaries?

Obama Lacks a True American Voice

In this current climate of polarization between Republicans and Democrats, Conservatives and Progressives, Independents and Liberals, Peaceful and non-violent TEA Party activists and the violent, agitators/ Union thugs (e.g. SEIU), and the Birthers and their detractors etc., it is often necessary to scrutinize and dissect articles that any blog owner decides to include as a link in their post.

Case in point.

Legal Insurrection blog has a post up with excerpts from a Wall Street Journal Opinion Commentator - Dorothy Rabinowitz, who writes a stinging article about Barack Obama's "alien" status as our current Resident in Chief. [Note: Resident in Chief are my words, not hers.]

However, her use of the word "alien" in the article is probably not what you might first think!

Let me begin with a small portion of all (which is most of it) that I agree with in her article.

Excerpts:

The deepening notes of disenchantment with Barack Obama now issuing from commentators across the political spectrum were predictable. So, too, were the charges from some of the president's earliest enthusiasts about his failure to reflect a powerful sense of urgency about the oil spill.

There should have been nothing puzzling about his response to anyone who has paid even modest critical attention to Mr. Obama's pronouncements. For it was clear from the first that this president—single-minded, ever-visible, confident in his program for a reformed America saved from darkness by his arrival—was wanting in certain qualities citizens have until now taken for granted in their presidents. Namely, a tone and presence that said: This is the Americans' leader, a man of them, for them, the nation's voice and champion. Mr. Obama wasn't lacking in concern about the oil spill. What he lacked was that voice—and for good reason.

Those qualities to be expected in a president were never about rhetoric; Mr. Obama had proved himself a dab hand at that on the campaign trail. They were a matter of identification with the nation and to all that binds its people together in pride and allegiance. These are feelings held deep in American hearts, unvoiced mostly, but unmistakably there and not only on the Fourth of July.

A great part of America now understands that this president's sense of identification lies elsewhere, and is in profound ways unlike theirs. He is hard put to sound convincingly like the leader of the nation, because he is, at heart and by instinct, the voice mainly of his ideological class.

The next sentence is quite ironic. She simultaneously labels Obama as an "alien," (meaning that he is not like any of our previous American presidents); yet reveals her absolute disdain and rejection of the so-called "Birthers":

He is the alien in the White House, a matter having nothing to do with delusions about his birthplace cherished by the demented fringe.

Hmmm....

Well....

The last part of that sentence should delight the detractors of Talk Wisdom's coverage regarding Obama's ineligibility! I have been accused of being a racist, un-Christian, a tin foil hat wearer...and the list goes on. Now the haters of my blog can add "demented fringe" to the list!

HA HA HA HAAAAAA! For some reason, I find this all very humorous!

Even though I, and millions more Americans who want to see Obama's bona fide records have good reason to doubt that he is telling the truth about his birth place, I will take that derogatory label and wear it proudly. One day, the truth will come out. The fact is that Obama is hiding SOMETHING. What it is - we cannot know for sure. But it has to be big and very important in order for him to spend 2 million dollars to keep the lawsuit investigations out of court.

Long after Mr. Obama leaves office, it will be this parade of explicators, laboring mightily to sell each new piece of official reality revisionism—Janet Napolitano and her immortal "man-caused disasters'' among them—that will stand most memorably as the face of this administration.

...because Obama's residency in the White House and his corrupt parade of cronies really ARE "new piece(s) of official reality revision(ists)!" But I disagree that it will stand as the MOST memorable feat of this alien residency. IMO, there will be MUCH MORE that will be revealed and Americans will be wiping their brows after the long, hard, and very difficult struggle it will take to keep our Constitutional Republic, liberty and freedom alive. One day, we will all be saying WHEW! THAT WAS A CLOSE CALL! We will be celebrating our hard-earned ESCAPE from the journey into serfdom that the revolutionary Marxists/Islamo-Fascists tried to do here in the United States of America!

Thank God that the reality of the danger we face with this gangster government is finally sinking into the minds of most Americans!

In regards to the distance between Obama's terrible ideology and that of most loyal, patriotic, Constitution affirming and Declaration of Independence believing Americans (even some of the rabid leftists in the Lamestream Media of Mass Deception are questioning Obama's extreme ideology now!!) Ms. Rabinowitz concludes:

The truth about that distance is now sinking in, which is all to the good. A country governed by leaders too principled to speak the name of its mortal enemy needs every infusion of reality it can get.

The Constant And Ongoing Truth War

Many times, I have brought up the need for repentance when confessing sin and accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. However, it is sad to have to say that not all churches that label themselves as "Christian" believe such truth.

Bill Muehlenberg over at Culture Watch has an excellent post up called, "Another Jesus."

Bill is correct! When a preacher makes Jesus into his own image, or, makes Jesus fit into his own ideological beliefs rather than follow the true Gospel of Christ as recorded in the Bible, then such a preacher is guilty of heresy and apostasy.

There is a constant and ongoing truth war in this world. Jesus told us that as believers in him, we "are not of this world" - just as he claimed not to be of this world!

Where do we go to know the truth?

God's Word.

The Bible reveals the Living Word - which is Jesus Christ himself - and no other religion or spiritual leader who claims to have another type of truth (e.g. Another Jesus as Bill explains in his post) is genuinely in the truth.

This is why we trust in God the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ. Once born again in Christ, the Holy Spirit will guide us in our lives and make the Bible verses come to life in us. Scripture tells us that Satan's ploy could even fool the elect - if that were possible. This means that the deception can be so strong at times that even those born again in Christ could get fooled. But God's Word promises that the elect will not get fooled. Why? Because the Holy Spirit of God will guide us unto all righteousness and truth.

If what you are being taught at church does not agree with what is recorded in God's Written Word - the Bible, then REJECT it! This is how God guards our hearts and minds in the age of deception - which is stronger at this time in history than ever before!

Relativism is man's excuse for not repenting of his/her sins at the foot of the cross of Christ. The 'cross less' gospel is the one that the heretics preach because that type of false gospel allows them to keep practicing their favorite sins (and trapped in the lie) and keeps them away from the Truth.

Both John the Baptist and then, of course, Jesus began their ministries saying, "Repent, for the kingdom of God is near." Without repentance of sin, there is no forgiveness of sin. Without forgiveness, the soul of the unforgiven person is lost. Those who think that this is a minor issue are in grave error!

As usual, Lame Cherry has a very intriguing (if not frightening) post. Can't claim to agree with everything in this article, but the following are some points of interest:

Allot of folks will ponder the above or make excuses, when it is revealed that if one replaces Bundy for Obama in those scenarios, there is a most interesting mirror image of these two abandoned boys.

And, have you ever wondered why Obama doesn't appear to care about the Oil Gusher disaster in the Gulf States? Perhaps Mr. Cherry reveals the reason why:

Mr. Obama just killed the American GOP Gulf States as he enjoyed the show from a vacationing distance and is now getting personal with it and enjoying mixing in the violence.

Folks just do not comprehend what they are looking at yet as Mr. Obama destroys on a much larger scale and his crimes are cheered by Helen Thomas as they are dispatching "those people" in the same way the Nazi and Stalinist had mobs cheering them.

All I (and You) Will Ever Need

While driving south on the 405 freeway this morning, I saw an overhead sign that read "San Diego," with the "Die" part in "Diego" darkened with brown paint or mud. It appeared to be purposely done so that drivers would see the word Die clearly highlighted from the word.

Isn't that nice?

Sheesh!

I got to thinking about what God told Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. It was originally a beautiful place; paradise, in fact, unmarred by evil, sin or death. God warned what would happen if they "ate of the forbidden fruit" that contained the knowledge of good and evil. He told them "in the day that you eat of it, you will die."

They didn't immediately die physically on that day, but they did die spiritually. Recall that Adam tried to hide from God after he took of the fruit and ate it. Next, he blamed "the woman you put here with me."

That's sinful man for ya! Hide and blame. Such tactics have been happening ever since.

Over the years that I have been writing about the Gospel of Jesus Christ, one of the questions that skeptics often ask (or state) is why did God have to sacrifice His Son, Jesus Christ? Couldn't He have done salvation for our souls in another way?

Answer: no. The Old Testament Scriptures shared how the ancient Israelites sacrificed unblemished animals at the altar of the temple in order to be temporarily forgiven for sin. This was done as a foreshadowing of the ultimate sacrifice - the Lamb of God - Jesus Christ, at the cross of Calvary for the redemption of mankind from their sins. If there was any other way, God would have done it.

I also think that the brutal beatings of Jesus, the crowning of the thorns, the agony of his burdensome walk to Calvary while carrying one of the most awful execution methods ever devised by man was purposely done so that people might see that this is what evil, sin, and death does.

Today's culture of death is obvious. It gets worse every year that goes by. People do not learn from history. History has the terrible habit of repeating itself. Why? Because man, given to his own devices never learns. He needs a spiritual heart transplant that only God, through His Son, Jesus Christ can provide. Every other spiritual leader will disappoint. What's worse is the fact that any of these other spiritual leaders cannot save your soul. None of them rose from the dead. Only Jesus Christ accomplished that feat.

Jesus told us that "I am (He is) the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father but by Me (Him)." He said it. It is recorded in the Bible for all generations to read and realize. There is no other who can forgive sins - except the One who took what we deserved - death - on the cross for the redemption of our souls.

It is only when a person confesses and repents of sin, and accepts Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior over his/her life, that reconciliation back unto God can happen. If this ONLY provision, offered by God the Father is rejected, then the individual soul who rejects it is lost forever and will spend eternity separated from God.

Enduring This Ongoing Obama Regime Nightmare

The rise of anti-Semitism here in America and around the world is ratcheting up, folks. Resident Obama, his evil cohorts, and his Israel-hating scumbag press corps members don't even bother to hide their contempt anymore!

Word is now out that Obama sent Netanyahu home to Israel instead of allowing him to tell his side of the flotilla story there at the White House. How is that for a horrible second snub of the Jewish State Leader? It just makes me ill! It makes me shake my head in disgust and disbelief!

Even though they try their best to provide misinformation, The Media of Mass Deception cannot hide the truth about the Flotilla thugs when the truth is being discussed on blogs and there is video of the perpetrators beating the Israeli (IDF) soldiers on board the vessel.

Today, Laura Ingraham subbed for Bill O'Reilly on The O'Reilly Factor. I love when she is on! During an interview with former Bush White House spokesperson, Dana Perino, Dana stated that (paraphrased here) 'the world today is like a snow globe; but everything is turned upside down.' It really feels that way to me and I'm sure many millions of Americans! I read comments at other blogs all the time and people cannot believe all of the corruption that this gangster government is getting away with!!

Our world surely is turned upside down! Good is being portrayed as evil, and evil is shoved in our faces as good. How much more can America take of this???

I keep praying for a miracle from God that will end this ongoing nightmare known as the Barack Insane Obama regime.

The world is tired of these troublesome Jews, 6 million — that number again — hard by the Mediterranean, refusing every invitation to national suicide. Man's Inability to Embrace Humility

Charlie over at Another Think has written an excellent essay that ties in, and reveals, the arrogance of man via man's inability to embrace humility. Another Think: Deep-Water Arrogance.

According to a report in The Wall Street Journal, based on testimony given to the Coast Guard and interviews with survivors, the rig's chain of command "broke down" and its emergency procedures "made it difficult to respond swiftly" to a very fast-moving chain of events.

Less than 10 minutes after the first sign of trouble, the order was given to abandon the vessel. Many were already leaping into the Gulf to save their skin. In a final desperate act, a button was pressed that should have activated a massive device on the sea floor, the blow-out preventer (BOP). This 450-ton, 50-foot tall hydraulic leviathan was designed to crush the life out of the drill pipe and bottle up the high pressure oil and gas trying to escape from the well.

The BOP, the well's last fail-safe device, failed. Within 2 days, the unrecognizable slag heap formerly known as the Deepwater Horizon slipped beneath the waves. As I write this, oil continues to pour from the wellhead a mile underwater, despite ingenious, round-the-clock efforts to halt the flow by some very bright and motivated engineers.

They admit to being "scared." The leader of the world's most powerful government has been reduced to mouthing meaningless commands to his minions. "Plug the damn hole," he fumed. Not exactly a Churchillian moment.

The risks posed by technological failures are both more common and more spectacular than at any time in history. Amazing achievements in science have fooled us into believing that there is no problem we can't solve, given enough money, human brilliance and hard work. BP's problem was not inadequate technologies, but a disturbing lack of humility in the face of complex and powerful forces.

WOW Charlie! What an excellent essay! I learned so much from this post! Previously, I didn't even know about the blow-out preventer malfunction. How terribly sad and irresponsible it was not to have a plan B!

I'm not an engineer, but I read that setting up the oil slick booms and burning the oil immediately would have helped to contain it in a smaller area. But wouldn't it have to burn continually until it was eventually capped? That may have been an environmental hazard to the air, but isn't the oil slick a catastrophic disaster that is far worse?

You are correct about the lack of humility that lives in all people. What makes it really tough is when it's combined with extreme arrogance. That absurd "plug the damn hole" comment must have been an "off the teleprompter" one. As with many terrible comments that Obama has delivered in the past, that one showed his true character. His lack of empathy towards those suffering in the Gulf states showed a stone cold heart, too.

Obama's never-ending government takeover of EVERYTHING is truly arrogant, scary and devastating to WE THE PEOPLE who believe in our Founding Fathers' plan for our Constitutional Republic - not a Marxo-Islamo-Fascist regime that the far-left progressives think will finally create their own dream world of a Garden-of-Eden type of utopia. History has revealed the fact that such ideology has NEVER worked in a positive manner. Instead, the most inhumane and brutal regimes have developed as a result of their evil, power, and misplaced wealth.


Ben Franklin had many words of wisdom. The day he answered the question, "what type of government have you given us, sir?" He replied, "A Republic - if you can keep it."

The humility that you speak of has gradually been taken from our nation by leaders who claim to know "the Word" (like Nancy Pelosi claimed recently). However, those of us who genuinely DO know God's Word, study it, apply it to our own lives, teach it to our children, and share it with others through Christ's Gospel message have the ability to spot a fake instantly.

I am convinced that only Jesus can teach us what you wrote at the end of your essay:

...we're never as great as we think we are. When we live in humility, we allow ourselves to learn from others. When we embrace our limitations, we aren't tempted to charge off recklessly into the unknown. If we hold the reins tightly on our human vanity and pride, we will yield the head of the table to God and find our proper place in the created order.

What a beautiful, beautiful paragraph! And, when we find ourselves outside the "proper place in the created order," such arrogance leads to sin, evil and death.

The Lord's prayer instructs us to pray, "Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in heaven."

Man often does the opposite. He wants his own will to be done on this earth - no matter how much damage it inflicts on this world. Therefore, man ignores God's Will for our lives as it is instructed for us through His Living Word - Jesus Christ, as well as in His Written Word, the Bible.

Ah...went off on a tangent! Thanks again for this great article. I will link to it at my blog today.

As a liberal/progressive (right...Kevin?) I don't think that Kevin and Glenn agree on many political issues. However, if Kevin takes the time to watch Glenn's show for just one week, perhaps he might see that Glenn shares information that the Lamestream Media of Mass Deception (like MSNBC) REFUSE to reveal!

Kevin, if you read this post and view that video, I'd like to know your opinion about it.

During Glenn's "after the show web video," he mentions that Egypt wanted the Flotilla ships to dock at one of the ports to be inspected, too. They don't want any trouble, either.

It's interesting to share a few facts about Egypt from Grant Jeffrey's book The Next World War: What Prophecy Reveals About Extreme Islam and the West.

In a previous book, Jeffrey wrote:

As astounding as it was, the prophecies surrounding the rebirth of Israel did not stop with the declaration of Israel's independence in 1948. Three thousand years ago God inspired King David to predict that the reborn nation of Israel would be immediately surrounded by enemies, including the Arab nations of Jordan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon and Syria. "For lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head. They have taken craftly counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones. They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance. For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee: The tabernacles of Edom, and the Ishmaelites; of Hoab; and the Hagarenes; Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; the Philistines with the inhabitants of Tyre; Assur also is joined with them: they have holpen the children of Lot. Selah" (Psalm 83:2-8). In this incredible prophecy, David described the modern states of the Middle East by naming the ancient nations that have now joined with the Palestinians in their attempt to destroy the Jewish state in the last days.

This ancient prophetic list of nations is fascinating, as it enumerates virtually every one of the nations in the Arab confederacy that oppose Israel's existence today:
Edom.........from Esau, brother of Jacob (Jordan)
Ismaelites...descended from Ishmael, son of Hagar (Arabs)
Moab.........son of Lot, (Jordan, east of Dead Sea)
Hagarenes....descended from one of the 12 sons of Hagar
Gebal........ancient Byblus, (north of today's Beirut)
Ammon........son of Lot, (capital of Jordan)
Amalek.......descended from Esau (southern Jordan)
Philistines..from Ham, (throughout Palestine, Syria)
Tyre.........a Phoenician city (Lebanon)
Assur........founded Assyria; (Iraq - Iran)
Children of Lot Moab and Ammon, (Jordan)

That list was also included in Chapter One - "The Roots of Arab Muslim Hatred", in Jeffrey's "The Next World War" book. The same chapter includes Bible verses that support Jeffrey's subtitle - "Enmity Between Ishmael and Isaac Has Come Home to Roost."

See Genesis 16 for the story of Ishmael and Isaac.

God described Ishmael, the father of the Arabs in Genesis 16.

Jeffrey writes:

And the angel of the LORD said unto [Hagar], Behold, thou art with child, and shalt bear a son, and shalt call his name Ishmael; because the LORD hath heard thy affliction. And he will be a wild man; and his hand will be against every man, and every man's hand against him; and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren. (Genesis 16: 11-12).

Ishmael would be an enemy to his neighbors, and his neighbors would be at enmity with him.

Tragically, this prophecy has been fulfilled in the thousands of years of hatred between the Arabs and the Jews. [Note: as Kevin pointed out in his comment]. The apostle Paul illustrated this age-old hatred in his letter to the Galatians: "But as then he that was born after the flesh [the Arabs] persecuted him that was born after the Spirit [the Jews], even so it is now" (Galatians 4:29). The Arab peoples lived as nomads; they never set up an independent nation or established a capital in the land of Israel.

Notice what this verse in Galatians is telling us. Because Ishmael was "born of the flesh" - in other words, Abram and Sarai took matters into their own hands and had Abram lay with Hagar to have the child Ishmael. However, God's promise was to be fulfilled with the birth of Isaac - who was "born after the Spirit" rather than just of the flesh. Hagar was an Egyptian maidservant (see Genesis 16: 1-3), and Sarai gave the maidservant to Abram as a substitute wife in order to produce children. This was a common practice of that time. Abram was acting in line with the custom of the day, but his action showed a lack of faith that God would fulfill his promise. That one act of lack of faith created a whole series of problems. Because they tried to make God's promise come true through efforts that were not in line with His specific direction. The consequences of that error and sin reminds us of Adam and Eve - who did the same thing in Genesis 3:12,13 - has wreaked havoc ever since.

In Genesis 17, we learn that God changed Abram's name to Abraham, and Sarai's name to Sarah. The covenant of circumcision was introduced. God revealed specific parts of His covenant:
1. God would give Abram many descendants
2. Many nations would descend from him
3. God would maintain his covenant with Abram's descendants
4. God would give Abram's descendants the land of Canaan.

The name change meant that Abraham would be the "father of many". Sarai's name was changed to Sarah because God blessed her with a child of her own - Isaac. God's covenant was to be established through Isaac and as Genesis 17:19 reveals, "...I will establish my covenant with him as an everlasting covenant for his descendants after him."

Genesis 17:20 - And as for Ishmael, I have heard you: I will surely bless him; I will make him fruitful and will greatly increase his numbers. He will be the father of twelve rulers, and I will make him into a great nation. 21 But my covenant I will establish with Isaac, whom Sarah will bear to you by this time next year."

It is interesting to note that the name "Isaac" means "he laughs." Recall how Abram and Sarai laughed when they learned that they were to have a child while in their 90's! But back then, people lived longer lives than we do today.

Back to Jeffrey's book.

I noticed something in chapter one and wondered if anyone reading here might know the answer to my question. Is Egypt considered as one of the Arab nations of today who will rise up in the last days as enemies of Israel?

One reason I ask this is because of something Jeffrey shared in his book:

It is interesting to note that although Egypt is typically considered an Arab nation, it is not. As Max Dimont observed in his excellent book Jews, God, and History, "Strictly speaking, Egypt...is not an Arab nation, though 90 percent of its people follow the Moslem faith and speak Arabic. The vast Majority of today's Egyptians are of Hamitic descent [or descendants of Noah's son Ham], with the Arab Bedouins composing the largest minority group. Only a small minority, the Copts, are true descendants of the ancient Egyptians."2

When we view the ancient list of nations, Egypt is not included in the list of modern Islamic nations of today (in parentheses above) that oppose Israel's existence. I never noticed that before!

Of course, as was mentioned in Genesis 15:13,14 and the book of Exodus, the story of the enslavement and miraculous deliverance of Abram's descendants from Egypt in ancient times is well known.

Back to Glenn Beck's assessment of the 'Freedom' Flotilla. Did you notice that like Israel, Egypt didn't want the flotilla ships to enter without inspection? They are just as concerned with possible terrorist invasions and apparently suspected ulterior motives behind the 'Freedom' Flotilla ships.

Any thoughts about all of this?
