True Meaning of Christmas

While waiting in line to mail packages at the post office, I couldn't help but notice that every Christmas card on display was of a secular nature. The only cards that actually said "Christmas" on them were of the Peanuts gang and Santa Claus.

I decided to do a search to find out the last year that the Madonna Christmas stamps - depicting Mary with the Christ Child - were sold at the post office.

In my first search, I found the following stamp dated 2006:

The 2006 Christmas stamp features an oil-on-canvas entitled Madonna and Child with Bird. Dating from around 1765, the painting is attributed to Ignacio Chacón-an artist active from about 1745 to 1775 in Cuzco, Peru. It is now part of the Engracia and Frank Barrows Freyer Collection of Peruvian colonial art at the Denver Art Museum. In designing the stamp, art director Michael Osborne slightly cropped the painting's floral "frame" and surrounded the entire composition with a gold border that echoes Chacón's use of gold-leaf embellishments.

A famous painting by Spanish artist Bartolomé Esteban Murillo entitled La Sagrada Familia del Pajarito (The Holy Family of the Little Bird) probably served as an indirect prototype for Chacón's Madonna and Child with Bird. The importance of birds in Inca culture would have made the topic of Murillo's painting particularly resonant in Peru. Birds were sacred to the Inca, partially because of their ability to fly and move closer to Inti, the sun god. So in Cuzco, colonial artists often incorporated birds or feathers into images of the Virgin and Christ to indicate their divine status.

Of course, this stamp is created more for the Catholic religion which believes that Mary was also divine - as was Christ. Unfortunately, that is incorrect. According to the Bible, Mary is NEVER mentioned as "divine." She is properly honored as the mother of Jesus (not "the mother of God") and is called "blessed."

During my second search, I found an article dated back in 2008 at The Telegraph UK which was entitled, "Church leaders fear religious Christmas stamps will be scrapped."

The sub-title tells us why:

Church leaders fear religious Christmas stamps could be scrapped for pantomime designs after Royal Mail forced them to be sold "under the counter".

Take a look at the ugly "pantomime design!" I don't even want to post the photo here at this blog. Well - at least "pantomime sisters" are rightly labeled as "The Ugly Sisters!" Ha! But...c'mon!! What do their ugly faces have to do with Christmas?

I agree with this Canon Chancellor:

Canon Chris Chivers, the Canon Chancellor of Blackburn Cathedral, has called the choice of stamps "utterly demeaning" and said in a letter: "If we are to have Christmas stamps at all, let them be Christian. But if for some mindlessly secularist reason we must have a choice, then let there be stamps of both sorts, in equal number."

Continuing on in my search, I found a blog called Darleen's Place. Her blog archive contains an essay entitled, "US Post Office goes Politically Correct - Updated". She claims that the Mary With the Christ Child stamps were not available in 2005, but correctly speculated that it would be back in 2006 (see stamp above). Lots of great comments there, too.

One of the prettiest Christmas stamps I found during my search was from Canada!



Ahhh! I'm running out of time. Hopefully, I can return to the search and find more photos of the Madonna and Christ Child commemorative stamps.

USPS.com Postal History PDF page has listings of all of the Christmas stamps over the years, but no photographs of them. According to that page, the last stamp of this kind issued was in 2009.

It appears that the site hasn't been updated past the date of January, 2010. Perhaps there IS a Mary and Christ Child stamp out there but it's under the counter and customers need to ask for it?

P.S. After waiting in line and shaking my head about the secularism displayed at the post office, I went to The Family Christian Store and found some beautiful CHRISTIAN themed ornaments!

One is a blue bulb ornament from "The True Meaning of Christmas" line that says, "A Child Is Born" with Isaiah 9:6 NIV on the other side: "For to us a child is born, to us a son is given."

A pretty red bulb ornament says, "Keep Christ In Christmas."

A flat wooden look ornament with a north star design depicts the nativity etched upon it.

A hand painted ceramic heart-shaped design on a dark red background states, "Be still and know that I am God."

The fourth one is in the shape of the cross and has the entire 23rd Psalm written on it!

Who Are the Gaia Worshippers?

Every Knee Shall Bow

While grocery shopping at Stater Bros. late this afternoon, I decided to get some "Christmas" stamps. I asked the lady at the checkout stand if there were any "religious" stamps available. She said that the only ones they have were ones with pine tree branches and pine cones.

Hmmm...Winter solstice anyone?

The man behind me in line stated, "First they took Christ out of Christmas, now they are also taking the Christmas tree out!"

So true!

I remember the beautiful stamps from years ago that depicted Mary, the mother of Jesus with her Holy Babe in arms. Sigh...those were the days!

Speaking of Mary, this week's Turning Point T.V. Sunday service program was entitled "Why Mary?" It was wonderful!

Dr. David Jeremiah did a great job of pointing out how blessed Mary was to be chosen to bear the Messiah - Jesus Christ - without elevating her above where she belongs in that respect. As always, I highly recommend viewing the service at David Jeremiah.org.

The little skit at the beginning of the program speaks about the controversy that goes on each year between the atheists/agnostics/skeptics (AAS) who hate Christmas displays (like the Nativity scene) and the Christian believers who want to keep Christ in Christmas.

I often think that those who wish to squelch the reality of our Savior entering into the world via the virgin birth in a manger in Bethlehem end up accomplishing just the opposite effect that they intended to do. More people are coming to Christ for salvation today than at any other time in history! The AAS's are in for a BIG surprise on the day that they will be face to face with the risen Savior, Jesus Christ!


They are free to reject Christ now - during the age of grace here on earth - but there is a day coming where EVERY knee shall bow before Jesus Christ.

Is This Justice? Or, Just Fixed?

If you were to ask me if Lieutenant Colonel Terry Lakin is being given justice, I would have to answer with A BIG FAT NO!!

Lieutenant Colonel Terrence Lakin, a distinguished Army flight surgeon, is "certain" to be convicted of disobeying orders, according to his lawyer, Neil Puckett.

LTC Lakin will go on trial December 14 for refusing to deploy with his unit to Afghanistan. The senior officer questioned the legal validity of his orders because they originate ultimately with President Barack Obama, whose eligibility to serve as commander in chief under article II of the U.S. Constitution remains unproven.

"Based on the evidence available, his conviction is certain," Puckett told WND. "He has no affirmative defense for the offenses he committed."

"There is not much left to do" in defense of his client, Puckett said. Lakin's previous defense counsel, Paul Jensen, already "sought discovery of documents, and to introduce evidence and expert witnesses, but the judge shut down all those efforts."

What is this? Nazi Germany??

I'm not a lawyer, but I must admit that I have never heard of a judge "shutting down all efforts" for a person to present evidence in his defense.

During a September hearing, Colonel Denise Lind, the judge in the case, censored the last remaining arguments Lakin planned to make in his defense: motive and duty. Lakin had intended to explain his motive for disobeying the order and contend that it was his duty as a good soldier to disobey orders that he believed to be illegal.

Lind also rejected defense requests to call as witnesses Ambassador Alan Keyes and retired Air Force Lt. Gen. Thomas McInerney. Keyes was to explain the constitutional issues involved in the case, and McInerney was to talk about the training soldiers receive regarding when they should question and even disobey orders.

Stripped by the court of all possible defenses that might have justified his actions, Lakin has no chance of prevailing at trial.

To me, this is a very strange turn of events. Perhaps the military "justice" system can legally twist things in order to do this to an honorable army surgeon, but is it right? I certainly don't think so!

You need to read the entire article for all of the details. However, there is one ray of hope in the end:

Once guilt or innocence has been determined by his jurors, the trial will move to a presentencing hearing, when Lakin will have an unfettered opportunity to introduce mitigating evidence that might justify his disobedience in spite of Judge Lind's limitations on the scope of the trial.

"If he were to be convicted, he would have an open microphone to talk to the panel of jurors," said Puckett.

An open microphone to talk to the panel of jurors might break the eligibility issue wide open. Unless the Lamestream media still refuses to cover it.

I agree with the conclusion of the article:

"Every American should support Lakin," said Arizona organizer Jeff Lichter, a retired high school physical education teacher. "Don't we all have a simple right to ask who our president is? Is he legitimate, is he qualified? That's all Terry is asking. He has every right to ask the question, he asked it for a long time before he went public.

"They're not even going to allow him to put up any evidence, We feel the trial is already rigged, and they're denying him his due process rights, He's been denied access to records in Hawaii. He's been told by Judge Lind that the orders he's refusing to obey came from the Pentagon, not the commander in chief, so his question whether the commander in chief is eligible is irrelevant. It's ridiculous. It's all fixed."

Lichter's rallies will take place at the state offices of Arizona Republican senators John McCain, and Richard Kyl, and U.S. Rep. Trent Franks, R-Ariz.

"We have 535 congressmen and none are ready to ask for an investigation of this issue? We just want these officials who have not kept their oaths to defend the constitution. They're not doing it," said Lichter.

"Nobody has been able to break what's apparently a cover-up of this issue. We want people to know about this in spite of the media blackout."

Those Who Promote Evil Are Offended By Everything Good

Someone recently gave me an opinion about George Soros and Barack Obama. He wrote that he doesn't personally think that these two men (and others in and around the administration) are out to destroy America, but sincerely think that what they are doing is "good" for America.

I'm sorry, but I cannot agree with that!

All of the evidence points towards this truth - that the "evil emperor Soros" and his "puppet-man Obama" are out to "fundamentally transform America" (from what the Founding Fathers and most patriots here in America desire for our nation) into a Marxist, anti-capitalist, globalist regime which would end America as we know it - the Constitutional Republic that Benjamin Franklin described to the lady who asked him, "what type of government have you given us sir?"

Those of you who are to preoccupied with your own lives and perhaps pooh-pooh the dangers that America is facing today need to wake up, pull your heads out of the sand of complacency, and prepare for what is inevitably coming down the pike.

Much damage has already been done by the out of control Democratic destructive leadership in Washington D.C. Thank God that the 2010 election results will stop the Obama destruction machine in its tracks. But right now, during the Lame Duck session of Congress we are going to see a push for all things socialist and evil before the Republican leadership takes over in January.

On a personal note, my 86-years-young mother - a lifelong Democrat - is reading Sarah Palin's first book, "Going Rogue" and guess what? She is highly impressed with the lady! You see, prior to being at my home, my mom was a victim of the liberal media elites on all of the non-cable channels. Now that she has gotten a good dose of Fox News and is reading THE TRUTH about just who Sarah Palin is and what she has accomplished, her opinion of the woman has changed dramatically - and for the better!

How sad it is to realize that our military is being targeted towards destruction by the treasonous bunch running the show in Washington D.C. It totally disgusts me! But let's get back to Sarah Palin's introduction called "An American Awakening."

Palin mentions some of the signs that were held by TEA Party Patriots during demonstrations and states:

What honest, heartfelt sentiments. These people aren't an angry mob - they're Americans. Why do some feel the need to demonize them?

The answer is because of the evil likes of Soros-backed groups such as "Open Society," "SEIU" and other corrupt unions, and their Marxist bosses.

Contrast people like Obama and Soros with people like Sarah Palin and TEA Party Patriots, and you see the obvious struggle over the future of America. Will we remain as Franklin stated, "a Constitutional Republic" (if we can keep it??) or become what the evil emperor and his cohorts have in mind for us - a "European-style, government-controlled, socialist state?"

I know my preferred choice to that question!!

Sarah Palin describes "the left" this way:

The Left seems to think that there's something wrong with America -- not something wrong with our policies or our government, but something wrong with our country and what we value. So they're hell-bent on changing it. They don't seem to share the timeless values that so many of us hold dear: our belief in our God-given freedom, our faith in free markets, and our certainty that the truths of our American founding are the way to a more perfect union.

A friend sent me a perfect illustration of this mind-set. It was a copy of the U.S. Constitution that was purchased with this warning label printed on the back: "This book is a product of its time and does not reflect the same values as it would it if were written today. Parents might wish to discuss with their children how views on race, gender, sexuality, ethnicity, and interpersonal relations have changed since this book was written before allowing them to read this classic work."

That's right: a warning label attached to the Constitution of the United States! It's outrageous, but in a sense it's a perfect reflection of the thinking of those who believe America needs a "fundamental transformation." They believe that the ideas of limited government and personal liberty that are contained in documents like the Constitution are dangerous and outdated. They honestly believe that our founding ideas and documents are obstacles to their vision of America. The Constitution doesn't reflect their values because it is a document that fundamentally constrains government. So they work to get around those constraints.

I think that Sarah Palin is being kinder than she needs to be about our political opponents. A LOT is at stake here and those who are "hell-bent" on changing our nation into a socialist utopia are not just different in their beliefs - THEY ARE ALSO DANGEROUS PEOPLE!

There is so much more that I could share about the introduction of Sarah's book. But I will save it for another day. For now, I will share what David Kupelian of WorldNetDaily wrote at the above link:

"Make no mistake," concludes Kupelian. "George Soros' goal is nothing less than to overthrow the United States of America and its Constitution. However, I don't read anywhere in the Bible that we are to be complacent and just let evil take over here in America. We are here to preserve and protect American values for the sakes of our children and grandchildren! Listen and learn from Ronald Reagan's wise words:

Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn't pass it to our children in the bloodstream. it must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children and our children's children what it was once like in the United States when men were free.

Creative Thinking and the Invisible and Eternal God

It's very late for a new post, but since I fell asleep on the couch while watching T.V. earlier this evening and then awoke a few hours later, I decided to read some email before closing my browser for the night.

One of my favorite Christian bloggers has a new essay up. I found it in my email box tonight and I encourage readers here to go check it out! Charlie at Another Think has written and excellent and thought-provoking essay entitled "An Uncertain Reality"

Brief excerpts:

The great scientific project at the dawn of the twentieth century was to expose the hidden mysteries of the atom.

[W]hat made this investigation remarkable, and maddening, was the inaccessibility of the systems they were trying to understand. Using only the crudest experimental devices combined with ingenious thought experiments and audacious hunches, these young scientists tested theories and conducted their research in the blind. What an excellent and fascinating essay! As usual, you make the connections that a non-believing scientist might want to ignore or even shun (because of purposeful disbelief in God), and turn it into a better explanation of reality because of your skill as a scientist utilizing your faith in the God of the universe, Jesus Christ!

What you have written triggered some thoughts I recently contemplated.

My 86 year old mom has often stated how wonderful the "discoverers" of prescription drugs are in sustaining and prolonging the lives of people who might have suffered more, and/or died at younger ages without the use of such drugs.

We know that many drugs can be used for good (and helpful) purposes - as well as for evil (and addictive) purposes.

I was thinking the other day that since we are always only "catching up to God" in the scientific realm of this life on earth, how awesome it might be to one day discover (in eternity) that we probably had the "tools" here on earth all along to cure any and every physical, mental, and emotional ailment? Yet, because of our fallen, sinful nature such discoveries had been made by scientists in a gradual and incomplete way? Hope those last two sentences made some sense!

One example. A relative of mine succumbed to Alzheimer's disease and her mind deteriorated at such a rapid pace back in the 80's because no drugs were yet created to halt the progression of that devastating disease. Today, there are drugs that considerably slow down the progression of the disease and patients often get to live close to normal lives for many, many more years than previously ever imagined. That's not a small or insignificant miracle!

Your entire essay displays the "wonders of the Lord" and I love your final paragraph:

So too with faith. God invites us not to abandon reason, but to give up our iron grip on what we think we know, what we think must be true. The Christian faith invites us to open our minds to the possibility of a different reality than we have ever imagined.

When someone in authority gives a directive, that command finds its way to the appropriate person who makes it happen. Commands don't execute themselves--it takes a person to carry out the authority's desires.

Isaiah 55:10-11 pictures God as an authority who sends forth His word. And it is always carried out: "It shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it." But how does that happen? Who carries out God's words and translates them into action? Angels do--like the angel found in Daniel 10. This angel was dispatched from heaven to deliver to Daniel the answer to his prayers. The angel was delayed for three weeks by an evil angel, the power behind "the prince of the kingdom of Persia." Only the angel Michael, "one of the chief princes," was able to defeat this evil angel and see the messenger on his way to Daniel.

When you pray, realize that angels are at work to execute God's answers. And they may be opposed by "principalities and powers in the heavenly places" (Ephesians 3:10).

How interesting it is to realize that in the case of Daniel, a more powerful angel needed to be dispatched and intervene in order for the original angel to deliver the answer to his Daniel's prayers! Think of this scenario the next time you feel that your prayers aren't being answered. Remember that the answer might be "yes," "no," or "later."

Examine your prayer request to see if it lines up with what Scripture teaches. Sometimes prayer requests are turned down because they aren't right for you or do not agree with God's righteousness and/or His Word.

But in the case of a prayer request being appropriate, perhaps in due time, in God's Perfect timing, such a prayer will be answered. I have experienced this in my own life. I have had answered prayers in a timely fashion, and in other cases, it took years - sometimes decades for a prayer to be answered. However, the decades-long prayer was answered at just the right time for the individual being prayed for. How awesome is that?

In our imperfect state here on this earth, we see as through a glass darkly and cannot even fathom the tapestry of salvation being sewn by God through His mercy, grace, righteous judgments and eternal promises. Sometimes it is very hard to wait and we want to yell, "God? What are you doing?" But when we enter into eternity, the appearance of the underside of a ragged-looking tapestry of colored threads will be replaced by the view from heaven of the gorgeous tapestry being created as we head into the Millennium, and then into eternity. What a joyous day that will be! We will see Christ face to face - we will see him "as He is." At the culmination of all of human history, what is not known by us while in existence on this earth will be made known! Imagine! All of our questions will be answered and we will be in the presence of the Living Lord - Jesus Christ! I cannot even picture, in my mind's eye, how glorious that will be!

Therefore, we must be patient and remain diligent in our evangelizing efforts so that more people on this earth will learn of Jesus Christ, his sacrificial death on the cross for our salvation, and the resurrection that is to come for all who believe in His Name.

We all applaud the successful thwarting of the Christmas-Tree Bomber and hope our government continues to do all it can to keep us safe. However, the latest round of publications of leaked classified U.S. documents through the shady organization called Wikileaks raises serious questions about the Obama administration’s incompetent handling of this whole fiasco.



First and foremost, what steps were taken to stop Wikileaks director Julian Assange from distributing this highly sensitive classified material especially after he had already published material not once but twice in the previous months? Assange is not a “journalist,” any more than the “editor” of al Qaeda’s new English-language magazine Inspire is a “journalist.” He is an anti-American operative with blood on his hands. His past posting of classified documents revealed the identity of more than 100 Afghan sources to the Taliban. Why was he not pursued with the same urgency we pursue al Qaeda and Taliban leaders?



What if any diplomatic pressure was brought to bear on NATO, EU, and other allies to disrupt Wikileaks’ technical infrastructure? Did we use all the cyber tools at our disposal to permanently dismantle Wikileaks? Were individuals working for Wikileaks on these document leaks investigated? Shouldn’t they at least have had their financial assets frozen just as we do to individuals who provide material support for terrorist organizations?



Most importantly, serious questions must also be asked of the U.S. intelligence system. How was it possible that a 22-year-old Private First Class could get unrestricted access to so much highly sensitive information? And how was it possible that he could copy and distribute these files without anyone noticing that security was compromised?



The White House has now issued orders to federal departments and agencies asking them to take immediate steps to ensure that no more leaks like this happen again. It’s of course important that we do all we can to prevent similar massive document leaks in the future. But why did the White House not publish these orders after the first leak back in July? What explains this strange lack of urgency on their part?



We are at war. American soldiers are in Afghanistan fighting to protect our freedoms. They are serious about keeping America safe. It would be great if they could count on their government being equally serious about that vital task.

Most people already know that the puppet Obama is incompetent. But his puppetmaster - George Soros - isn't. The combination of Soros being a billionaire, anti-American operative, evil financier (who has succeeded in destroying economies around the world), and anti-war zealot (intent on wreaking havoc upon our freedoms, safety, liberty, and independence while putting our soldiers in harms way in more danger); just proves that the man is a type of antichrist that Jesus spoke about in the Bible. Not THE antichrist, of course, but a precursor of what the world will endure when Christians are raptured and the world is run, temporarily, by Satan incarnate. There is no doubt in my mind that Soros has his bloody hands all over this so-called "leak." And the Obama administration just let it all happen. So shameful! So disgusting!

Before I get to the topic at hand, I have to wonder - where have all of my detractors gone? Most likely, they are all still alive and well just not commenting here as often as they used to anymore (except for GMpilot).

While viewing my stats today, I was surprised to see 17 newcomers from the "I Own The World" blog visit here. Apparently, Talk Wisdom was one of the site's largest referrers.

There are always so many blogs with important and interesting articles in my sidebar. It is difficult for me to keep up with them all.

The latest Wikileaks document dump is quite the concern. Makes me shake my head in disbelief! Just whose fault is it that supposedly classified documents are being "leaked" to the world? Is this being done purposely? Perhaps by the USURPER ObaMarxist and his destroy-America-first agenda? Who knows??

While reading Citizen Wells latest post about Obama eligibility misinformation being told to the public, I ran across an email in the comment section that I think should go viral. Therefore, I am sharing a copy of it here:

America Witnesses the Downfall of “Obama”

Yes, America, you are watching while Washington attempts to right itself and Obama self-destructs. What does a country and its citizens do as their nation continues to decline in power, financial stability and security of its people? We at Stand Up America shout aloud that we the people must stay strong and help right the national ship.

The Declaration of Independence states:

“To secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, that whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to affect their Safety and Happiness.”

The ship has been righted to some degree by the November elections but so much more needs to be done.

We cannot permit the current leaders in the White House and Halls of Congress to continue in their efforts to lead us down the road of Progressive Socialism and global government initiatives. In our opinion, President Obama, his appointees and his czars must be replaced immediately.

This is the current battle that we Constitutionalists face and we must be aggressive in our efforts. Obama will continue to by pass Congress in his progressive agenda and issue extensive Executive Orders. Congress, you must stand tall for the American people and enjoin the Supreme Court to halt Executive branch violations of law and the Constitution.

Incompetence, corruption and Dishonesty of officials now come into play as relates to our National Security and Economy and is the rationale for resignations and a change of government. My emphasis in this article will be a continued plea for Americans to Demand Resignation of these officials by the people of this country.

We are at a point that if Demand Resignations and a new Congressional make up do change the direction of the country then we must proceed to Impeachment and a serious transfer of Power at the highest levels of government. Obama’s eligibility to be President must be totally vetted to confirm his legitimacy.

Lincoln issued this warning in his inaugural address:

“Any people anywhere, being inclined and having the power, have the right to rise up and shake off the existing government and form a new one. This is a most valuable and sacred right – a right which we hope and believe is to liberate the world.”

Being a representative republic, not a democracy, and “rising up” means other than revolution by use of arms. The people must “rise up” (Stand Up as we say now) from the grass roots across this great country as we think of the greater good of this and future generations. We are limited in the peaceful transfer of power…resignation, elections, and impeachment.

The oath is simple and reads:

“I do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic, that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same, that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion, and that I will faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God.”

Sadly, we have seen them violate their oath. Fraud, lying, and corruption are rampant and some have engaged in treasonous activities, and they effectively thumb their noses at us and have sold you to the highest bidder.

The Articles of Confederation were replaced with the Constitution, which granted the federal government enough authority to cultivate, promote and secure the Blessings of Liberty. The balance of authority and individual liberty was understood. Power was confined to that which was enumerated in the Constitution with a certain and meaningful intent for check and balances.

Article One, S5, CII and the 10th Amendment provides the authority but this has been trumped by a system that rewards the powerful. In 1803 each congressional district averaged 38,476 people. In 2010 it is forecast to exceed 710,000. These numbers indicate power growth, and it effectively grew eight fold in the 20th century alone. No wonder our representatives seek to stay in office so long.

Power, money and benefits beyond the reach of most Americans are the basis now for many politicians and revolving door appointees staying in office. They must be termed out. With incumbency comes power. The party in the majority assigns power, so a long-term sitting representative can expect such power. A representative expected to stay in office in the 3rd Congress for approximately two years now expects 12 years, or 6 terms – so much for a “citizen government.”

But this can be changed through grass roots organization and discourse. We must make it a local imperative and movement….of the People…by the People… and for the People.

“We, the People” have had enough.
Enough is Enough.

The Obama White House and identifiable Members of Congress are now on a progressive socialist and treasonous death march and are bankrupting the country beyond expectations. We have watched them violate their sacred oath of office. “We, the People” cannot necessarily wait for the next round of elections. It is now that many of these public servants (and you know who they are) must put the people and country interests above self-interest by resigning immediately.

A civil uprising is still not out of the question as “pain” grips the country more each day. I am confident resignations will be forthcoming based on the efforts of the people. The 2010 vote is critical. This means raising your voice now to your neighbors, family, co-workers, and friends. Grass roots efforts have begun; it is now time to put this effort into over drive. America, stand tall together and we will weather the storm but we must act now!

Don't you just hate the fact that Obama keeps blaming Bush for the huge increase in the deficit when the truth is, most of the TARP money loaned under Bush's watch has been repaid?

It was so nice to hear how much our former president loves America. After two years of America-hating-and-bashing Obamafraud, I find myself longing for a president who genuinely DOES love our nation.

Sigh...despite the fact that I didn't agree with everything that President Bush did in his 8 years in office, he was light years ahead, beyond, and above ObaMARXIST on the greatness scale.

Although Bush refrains from criticizing his successor, at least he did take some time to defend what he did with TARP, in Iraq, and other decisions that he made while in office. It was good to hear him share the fact that tax cuts for small business owners created millions of jobs on his watch.

Seeing Bush as the likable guy that he is made me yearn for the good ole' days, when we could be sure that our president loved America and was on the side of WE THE PEOPLE.

Happy Thanksgiving - In The Faith

Despite all of the turmoil going on around the world and here in the U.S.A. we STILL have a lot to be thankful for! His promises written in the Bible have been kept. Prophecy fulfilled is proof of who He is and we know that all promises given to us by the Lord will be kept - both in this current world of existence as well as into eternity.

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. His mercies are new every morning.

My loved ones all realize even more of His mercy and grace today. We had a health scare in our family, and the results of an MRI revealed that it wasn't the dreaded disease of cancer. The lesser problem is nothing compared to what a diagnosis for cancer would have been!

I recall praying for healing of my loved one through Jesus Christ two days ago. I recall witnessing the painful ordeal my loved one has been going through and the uncomfortable time endured through the MRI. I recall the agonizing wait the next day to hear what was wrong.

Through it all, friends and family were praying fervently. One very special lady kept telling me to "keep the faith."

People, no matter how strong your own individual faith is the truth is that we need each other, as fellow Christians, to help us in our times of fear, doubt, pain, suffering and worry. That is why we have the church. I don't mean a building - I mean the people in the faith.

The encouragement was greatly appreciated (you know who you are!!) and helped to calm my spirit while awaiting the test results.

Today was an extra special Thanksgiving. At our table, we thanked the Lord Jesus Christ for our lives, our health, and the love we have for God, each other, and especially the love that God has shown to us through His Son, Jesus Christ.

How eerie it is to realize that the silence of all of the media (except maybe some talk radio hosts and Internet blogs/websites) about this particular case is absolutely deafening! Just who or what is keeping every one in the Lamestream media muzzled about this? They must be very rich, powerful, and dangerous. They must be wielding quite the heavy hammer over the heads of every newscaster, political pundit, politician, and American who refuses to discuss it in this land in order to pull off this stunt!

Citizen Wells has a post up in which he questions whether or not Glenn Beck is a hypocrite. Why? Because Beck's The Blaze website has no information about the case, no mention of Lt. Col Lakin, or any of the other military personnel who are questioning Obama eligibility.

On the other hand, if the Supreme Court doesn't take the case, then in my own mind, I will have to come to one of two conclusions. Perhaps there are more choices in the matter (please share if you have another idea), but the following two make the most sense to me.

1. The devastating choice is that the United States of America has already been taken over by covert hostile measures and therefore all of the checks and balances which would allow us to question and present evidence about Obama's ineligibility will always be halted and/or doomed to failure.

2. The second choice is that "the powers that be" already know who Obama's biological father is, and it isn't Barrack Hussein Obama Sr. Speculation has been presented many times at this blog, and other blogs that Obama is actually the "secret" son of either Frank Marshall Davis or Malcolm X. Either of these men would mean that Obama does qualify as a natural born citizen which is required by the U.S. Constitution.

Some day the truth will come out. I don't know when, but it inevitably does.

I would rather the truth to be closer to choice #2 (above), because choice #1 is indeed the scarier scenario.

I recall reading that someone stated that "if the truth came out about Obama's long-form birth certificate, it would be embarrassing for him."

Hmmm....

Whatever he is hiding, whether it would prove him to be constitutionally ineligible for the office of the presidency; or, just the fact that he would be found as a big fat liar and swindler to the American people about his past (gaining millions from the fake stories that were ghost-written about Obama by Bill Ayers in his books) - either case would indeed be highly embarrassing. But the first one choice is definitely an impeachable and resignation-required "embarrassment."

Bloggers all over the world have written about Obama's ineligibility (if Obama Sr. is indeed his biological father). I have made online friends from other countries, like New Zealand, Australia, and Canada etc. because of our postings on this topic over the past two years. Isn't it time for the truth to be told?

It is my sincere hope that tomorrow will end up being THE day of reckoning for Obama that so many Americans are waiting for. If the truth is finally revealed, then what Obama uttered in that speech so long ago - "this was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal" - might FINALLY come to fruition. Just not in the same manner that Obama was thinking it would happen!

Is president a 'natural-born citizen' as Constitution requires?

WASHINGTON – Is this the case that will break the presidential eligibility question wide open?

The Supreme Court conferred today on whether arguments should be heard on the merits of Kerchner v. Obama, a case challenging whether President Barack Obama is qualified to serve as president because he may not be a "natural-born citizen" as required by Article II, Section 1, Clause 5 of the U.S. Constitution.

Unlike other eligibility cases that have reached the Supreme Court, Kerchner vs. Obama focuses on the "Vattel theory," which argues that the writers of the Constitution believed the term "natural-born citizen" to mean a person born in the United States to parents who were both American citizens.

"This case is unprecedented," said Mario Apuzzo, the attorney bringing the suit. "I believe we presented an ironclad case. We've shown standing, and we've shown the importance of the issue for the Supreme Court. There's nothing standing in their way to grant us a writ of certiorari."

If the Supreme Court decides to grant the "writ of certiorari," it may direct a federal trial court in New Jersey to hear the merits of the case, or it may choose to hear the merits itself. The court's decision on the writ could be announced as early as Wednesday.

If any court hears the merits of the case, Apuzzo says it will mark the "death knell" for Obama's legitimacy.

"Given my research of what a natural-born citizen is, he cannot be a natural-born citizen so it's a death knell to his legitimacy. What happens on a practical level, how our political institutions would work that out, is something else," Apuzzo told WND.

Apuzzo observed it is "undisputed fact" that Obama's father was a British subject.

A hearing on the merits "is also a death knell because it would allow discovery so we would be able to ask him for his birth certificate, and we don't know what that would show," according to Apuzzo. "We might not even get to the question of defining 'natural-born citizen.' If he was not born in the U.S., he'd be undocumented, because he's never been naturalized. We don't even know what his citizenship status is. Hawaii has said they have his records, but that's hearsay. We have not seen the root documents."

What a fantastic Christmas gift it would be to finally have the truth about Obama come out into the open!

What Shall I Render to the LORD?

When situations get tough or a crisis happens within a family, it is so easy to worry, wail, and cry, "Why me Lord?" This is especially true whenever health issues pop up in our lives. Been there, done that....many times.

But how often do we, as believers in Jesus Christ, stop and consider the immense blessings that the Lord has bestowed upon us during our lives? How many times do we thank Him? At dinner each night? At church each week? Once a year at Thanksgiving?

A Bible verse comes to mind.

What shall I render to the LORD for all His benefits toward me?
Psalm 116:12

Even though we can give our heartfelt thanks for all that Jesus Christ has done for us, the question that Psalm 116:12 is asking is "what shall I render...?"

At Dictionary.com there are a LOT of definitions and descriptions for the term "render."

What can we learn from the Bible about this term and verse?

The Blue Letter Bible provides a Treasury of Scripture Knowledge page that gives us additional passages that can be studied regarding answering such a question:

Psa 51:12 Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, And uphold me by Your generous Spirit.

No matter what happens on this earth, no matter how long each of us lives, no matter what obstacles are thrown in our path - we can always have the joy of God's salvation in our hearts, minds, and spirits! If we let Him uphold us by His generous Spirit - He most certainly will!

Psa 51:13 Then I will teach transgressors Your ways, And sinners shall be converted to You.

When we are filled with the joy of the Lord and His provision of salvation through Jesus Christ, we can then "teach transgressors" (all have sinned) His ways, and sinners (we all qualify for that title) shall be converted to God!

Psa 51:14 Deliver me from the guilt of bloodshed, O God, The God of my salvation, And my tongue shall sing aloud of Your righteousness.

Once we know that we are delivered from all of our sins - even the heinous sin of bloodshed by "the God of my salvation," we can then sing the praises of the righteousness of Jesus Christ! It isn't our righteousness that saves - it is His!

Psa 103:2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits:

Is this verse telling us that blessing the LORD via our souls in prayer helps to remind us of all of His benefits?

Isa 6:5 So I said: "Woe is me, for I am undone! Because I am a man of unclean lips, And I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; For my eyes have seen the King, The LORD of hosts."

The Old Testament prophets, such as Isaiah, looked forward to the coming of the Messiah to save them from their sins. Meanwhile, they sacrificed unblemished animals for the temporary forgiveness of sins - a foreshadowing of what Christ's sacrifice would accomplish in the final act of redemption for all of mankind. Isaiah prophesied much of what the coming Messiah would endure for our salvation. Seeing the King, the LORD of hosts was frightening indeed because of his sinful condition. But that's not the end of the story!

Isa 6:6 Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having in his hand a live coal which he had taken with the tongs from the altar.


Isa 6:7 And he touched my mouth with it, and said: "Behold, this has touched your lips; Your iniquity is taken away, And your sin purged."

Another symbolic act where in the OT, the prophet Isaiah was assured that his iniquity is taken away by God and his sin purged from remembrance. In the next verse, look at Isaiah's huge change in attitude!

Isa 6:8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: "Whom shall I send, And who will go for Us?" Then I said, "Here am I! Send me."

Isaiah changed from the frightened sinner into a man that God could use! He enthusiastically answered "the voice of the Lord" by saying, "Here am I! Send me."

Rom 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.

When we get to the New Testament verses from this list, we see that the "brethren" were to present their bodies as a living sacrifice - meaning that they would gladly obey God's commands and be holy and acceptable to God while doing service for Him in spreading the Gospel of Christ.

1Cr 6:20 For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's.

And why would we become "living sacrifices" for God? This verse answers that question - because "we were bought at a price" through the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ on the cross! We are now called to glorify God both in body and spirit!

Now we get to the crux of the matter and can answer the question in Psalm 116:12 - What shall I render to the LORD for all His benefits toward me?

2Cr 5:14 For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died;


2Cr 5:15 and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.

Soros Owns Obama (Added Links)

With all that we know about billionaire, hate-America atheist George Soros and how he funded ObaMarxist 's presidential campaign, how could anyone believe that Obama is a genuine Christian believer? I wrote about the evidence that showed Obama was not a Bible-believing, born-again follower of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, way back in 2008. My suspicions have continued to be confirmed over the course of the last two years. Take a look at the 60 plus posts I have written on the topic of Muslims not to mention how many posts you would find here on Radical Islam and how Obama and his evil cohorts always seem to take the side of Islamists, while hating ordinary Americans who protest at TEA Party events!

Today, I wanted to revisit that first linked post and reiterate the reasons why my points were highly accurate regarding Obama's fake Christianity.

Ask yourself this question. Since Soros absolutely hated George W. Bush (a professed born-again Christian) and spent billions to (unsuccessfully) prevent Bush from becoming president both in 2000 and 2004, why would Soros spend additional billions backing Obama if he ever thought or believed that Obama was a genuine Christian? Just that fact alone supports my belief that Obama is anything but a Christian. Who knows what he is. An atheist? An agnostic? A secret Muslim? All three? Pretending to be all three?

We do know that Obama is a socialist, Marxist, redistribute-the-wealth red diaper doper baby (thanks for that descriptive title, Michael Savage) because the history of his life, including his parents, show them all to be atheistic, Communist-leaning socialists who desire to "transform America" from what the Founders intended (Constitutional Republic) into a member of a global socialist-like "utopia" nation. Trouble is, we know how each and every Communistic experiment in history turned out. Millions of people murdered!

New Zeal has a post up today introducing the blogosphere to a new site called Six Degrees of George Soros. There are some names there that I don't immediately recognize, but I plan to read up on them and their connections to Soros.

I find it somewhat amusing when Glenn Beck shows concern for Obama's "safety" because Soros & cohorts might "cut him loose" from the puppet master strings if he doesn't do their bidding while usurping the Oval Office. I don't think that Obama would be in any danger to his person, per se, but perhaps his political career would come crashing down when all of the media gets the word to trash him because of his failed policies. I suppose Beck has to be magnanimous in his attitudes towards Obama because of the Saudi influence over at Fox News Channel. As I have stated many times before, it is eerie how Beck can go on and on about Obama's Marxist connections to Soros, but his Muslim roots and associations are never investigated by Beck & Company.

would write to suggest that Obama rule by executive order fiat and make Congress irrelevant should chill every American to the bone! If you have been on the sidelines thinking that all is well, you need to WAKE UP and take notice that the progressives would do ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING to keep Obama in power.

We shall see how far the new House in Congress will go (especially the work of Darrell Issa) in exposing all of the criminality that surrounds this White House group of America haters and traitors. The mote of sewage is growing exponentially around these people with each passing day. How much longer will the American people stand by and let their freedoms be taken away by these creepy criminals?

DWTS Upset

I was curious to read some of the frothing-at-the-mouth opinions about Bristol Palin making it to the finals in Dancing With The Stars. Rarely do I ever venture over to the HuffPo blog, but there is a rant against Bristol over there which shows how upset the liberals are about her success in getting into the finals. If you want to read it, do a search. I do not wish to link to them. At the time I viewed that blog post, there was only one comment that said (paraphrased), "if Bristol wins in DWTS, I will NEVER watch that show again!"

I know how the commentator feels. My husband and I thought that Taylor Hicks didn't deserve to win at American Idol.

Another blogger likened Bristol to the competitor named Sanjaya a few years back on American Idol. Perhaps all the teeny-boppers across the U.S.A. kept him in the running.

I must admit, I thought that Palin was going to be eliminated last night. Brandy deserved to be in the final (and I thought that she was going to end up the winner) more so than all three who are now in the final. But this contest includes what the judges think and how they vote, as well as what the audience thinks and how they vote.

I do recall Brandy being very nasty to her dance partner in the beginning weeks of the show. During the clips of her dance rehearsals, the censors needed to bleep out her curse words. I'm sure that both her nastiness towards Maks, her hissy fit walk-out during rehearsals, as well as her cursing didn't endear her to people who were not already fans.

IMHO, Jennifer Gray is a professional dancer. She appeared in "Dirty Dancing" many years ago with Patrick Swayze. Swayze was a pro - and he taught her the moves during the filming. I didn't think it was fair for her to be in the contest to begin with.

IMHO, either Bristol Palin or Kyle Massey should win. Why? Because wasn't the concept of this show to take someone with little or no experience in dance and teach them to blossom into a performer worthy of receiving that mirror ball trophy?
