GPS Tracking of Sex Offenders - Good Idea

Over at X-Treme Right Wing, there is an article about More States Move to Use GPS Tracking of Sex Offenders.

I agree that this is a good idea. Has anyone reading here ever seen the MSNBC series, To Catch A Predator? It’s on tonight. Truly eye opening as to how easily sexual predators can lure kids and teens into anonymous sexual hook-ups through internet chat rooms. If GPS were required for offenders, then they could no longer take advantage of online chat rooms and anonymous hook-ups with teens. Their location would constantly be known and monitored.

If you haven't seen the above mentioned series and you have children who access the internet, you owe it to yourself to see what goes on in chat rooms. Truly scary!

We need to do everything possible to protect our children from these sleezy offenders. I'm willing to see taxpayer money used for this great idea. What do you think?
