Liberal Establishment Media Try To Mislead Public

I admire the writer(s) at The Birthers website. Their main goal is defending the Constitution of the United States of America and they are "dedicated to the rebirth of our Constitutional Republic."

At the Founding of our nation, Benjamin Franklin was asked, "what type of government have you given us, sir?"

The answer: "A Constitutional Republic...if you can keep it."

That dire warning is now a reality. Will we restore our nation back to what the Founders intended? Or will we go the way of so many nations that squandered their liberty, freedom, and justice for all by way of succumbing to the progressivism (a.k.a. liberalism, socialism, communism etc.) that the far leftists want to create in place of our Constitutional Republic?

Anyway, I really like what an author at The Birthers wrote today. I am passing it along here on Talk Wisdom because I think that the more educated the electorate becomes, the better the election outcome will be in November, 2012.

Memo to GOP
Subject: How to shut the collective mouths of the liberal media and make your base happy you are defending the Constitution

Soledad O’Brien along with CNN et al are determined to help O’Bama even at the expense of the Constitution. Case in point as she berated Governor John Sununu trying to prove Obama’s eligibility, she made a fundamental error. She rhetorically asked the question “You don’t think it’s a big deal that person talks about the fact that the president of the United States is not a citizen of the country?”
However in this question she opened herself, and the whole liberal establishment who try to mislead the public, to positive correction and a lesson on the Constitution of the United States.

Sununu and any GOP representative should listen carefully for the adjectives “natural born” preceding the noun citizen. If they are missing, they should say that the Constitution does not require the President be a citizen, but a natural born citizen. “While I personally believe that Mr. Obama is a citizen a citizen of the United States due to his birth in Hawaii, history is unclear if he is a natural born citizen due to the very simple fact he was born a dual citizen. It is unclear because there has never been a Supreme Court decision stating that the child of an alien even though born in the United States is a natural born citizen capable of holding the office of President. If you wish we can discuss this as I am sure this topic is important to millions of Americans.

This reply not only will cause them to flash the “We are experiencing technical difficulties” sign, but is 100% accurate.

No Supreme Court case has ever declared that the child of an alien is an natural born citizen, nor has the Supreme Court ever said that the child of aliens born in the United States is eligible to be president.

If we just consider post 14th Amendment Supreme Court cases on the subject of who are natural born citizens and are the children of aliens citizens we find,

1.    No one doubted that the child of citizen parents born in the United States is a natural born citizen. 1875 Minor v. Happersett

2.   There were doubts that the child of aliens was a citizen even if born in the United States. Minor v. Happersett

3.   The children of aliens who are “domiciled in United States,” are 14th amendment citizens. 1898 Wonk Kim Ark

4.   The child of American citizens born in the United States can be president. 1939 Perkins v. Elg

I am 100% positive the following will quickly occur.

This issue will quickly disappear from the media, and the conservative voters will think that you are pro-constitution, and the independent voters will respect you. Independents by their very nature are free thinkers and would appreciate a truthful presentation from both sides on this debate.
