Judge Andrew Napolitano absolutely nails it in his latest column over at WND regarding the BHO BADministration's tyrannical and unconstitutional "memo" giving themselves the right to assassinate U.S. Citizens when they are deemed as "an enemy and/or terrorist" - just because they say so.
President Obama’s policy of targeting enemies, including Americans, for death through drone strikes is the latest and most alarming example of the endless expansion of government power, according to Judge Andrew Napolitano.
Napolitano is the senior judicial analyst for the Fox News Channel and is the author most recently of “Theodore and Woodrow” and “The Freedom Answer Book.” He says the growth in government power is nothing new, and the erosion of individual freedoms is always pitched in pleasant ways.
“Monster government almost always comes with a smiling face,” he said. “After it’s here, the face loses its smile and it saps our liberties and our prosperity.”
Napolitano said there is no implosion of rights as troubling as what we’re seeing this week as the Obama administration defends the targeting and killing of enemies, including American citizens, without giving them the right to due process.
“I’ve often commented that my job here at Fox is to monitor the government as it steals your liberty and steals your property, but I never thought I’d be monitoring the government stealing your life,” he said. “Essentially, that’s what this is.”
The administration’s legal justification for the drone program was laid out in a Department of Justice “white paper” that made its way to NBC News on Sunday night. The paper, which is a distillation of countless other reports, clearly lays out what the Obama administration considers justification for the program of targeted kills.
“It basically says that the president of the United States can authorize an ‘informed, high-level official of the U.S. government’ to strip the constitutional protections of an American in a foreign country if the informed official is satisfied that the American is an imminent danger to American national security and his capture or arrest would be impractical,” Napolitano said. “That is basically the power claimed by kings and tyrants. I can suspend the law to get you if you are a danger.”
There are defenders of the Obama drone policy on both sides of the aisle, but Napolitano said their arguments fly in the face of the principles on which America was founded.
“Would we live in a safer society if the government could cut down every law and abrogate every freedom and break down every door and arrest everybody it wanted?,” asked Napolitano. “We’d be safe from the bad guys, but we wouldn’t be safe from the government. Who would want to live in such a society?”
The judge said it’s very easy to read the administration’s legal defense for the drone program and see how it could be used to target any American.
“The language in this 16-page document could easily apply to Americans in America,” said Napolitano. “So the president could decide that Bill O’Reilly or Glenn Beck or Judge Napolitano are just too troublesome, too meddlesome, too much of an obstacle to the accomplishment of his purposes, and it’s time to take them out.
“The core of the argument is ‘trust us.’ That’s an argument that the Supreme Court rejected because it doesn’t trust a single individual to kill,” he said, noting the Constitution gives Congress the authority to declare war and a 12-person jury the power to sentence someone to death.
As outlined in “Theodore and Woodrow,” Napolitano said Presidents Theodore Roosevelt and Woodrow Wilson are largely responsible for changing America from a nation championing limited government to one saddled with a government growing beyond anyone’s ability to control it.
“(They) shared the same view and that was this: the Constitution is not the supreme law of the land. It does not limit the government to the powers that have been delegated to it. Rather it unleashes the government to do whatever it wants except that which is expressly prohibited in the document,” said Napolitano. “Now that is not just an academic argument because that is turning the concept of limited government on its head.

As our nation deeply mourns over the shocking horror of the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre in Newtown, Connecticut, that took the lives of 20 innocent young children and 6 adults this morning; we shake our heads in disbelief and wonder why anyone would ever do such an evil, cold-blooded and heinous crime.
The newscasters are discussing whether or not this was a result of acute psychosis or another type of mental illness which led to this individual's horrific actions. Or, could it be a premeditated, culture of death action of an evil individual who knew precisely what he was doing?
The Bible informs us:

It is too early to know what the motivation was. It could be a combination of mental illness and horrendous evil. There are hints of both because of the additional reported deaths of the deceased murderer's mother and father [Update: the father is reportedly alive so it must have been someone else that was killed in the home in N.J..].
The Daily Mail UK has a lot of information and photos. However, the name of the dead killer may not be "Ryan Lanza," but his brother "Adam Lanza."

Susan! Yes indeed! The truth of Bible prophecy is evident today more than ever. We are definitely in the "birth pangs" of the end times. I often wondered how, and why, "children will rise up against parents and have them put to death" here in America. We see the "birth pangs" of that, too. Our children and grandchildren will suffer, financially, emotionally, physically, and ESPECIALLY spiritually for decades to come because of BHO's communist/Islamo-fascist policies; and those children-turned-adults will likely end up blaming their parents and grandparents for all their misery. The liberal leftist evil of Agenda 21 and its culture of death goals started over 30 or 40 years ago; and are quickly coming to fruition. Within only 4 years of BHO regime rule, these kids have been brain-dirtied into thinking that socialism and getting "free stuff" is a good "transformation for America." They do not know history!! And the baby-boomers who still know such history cannot seem to break through to the Gen. X, Y (a.k.a. Millennials) and upcoming Gen. Z (who will begin to vote in the next election}) Gen. X, Y and Z are all highly distracted by social media, IPhones, computer games, etc. - and they seem to like it that way. They apparently think that the United States of America will still be here, and will be protected - no matter what damage the liberal lunatic fringe in illegally in power today do to us, here in America, or what they do to spread radical Islam around the world. I've said it before, one of the biggest lies was the democrat lie that capitalism is to blame for all our problems. Another was when Obama declared that the American system has never worked, and no one in the formerly MSM called him on it or refuted it. So we have all these young people running around with this garbage in their heads and nothing is being done to correct the record. Is it surprising that these skulls full of mush are looking to communism as a viable choice? We have failed our own generations by allowing them to be indoctrinated with this crap and now we'll reap the reward and it will be ugly. The younger people voting for our first socialist president either don't know what socialism is, or they are extremely dangerous useful tools to the Party and will bring about the demise of the Republic. I have to admit, I have been puzzled about press secretary Jay Carney's insistence that an obscure YouTube video must have caused the attack on the Benghazi Consulate which resulted in the deaths of Ambassador Christopher Stevens, the two former Navy SEALS, and the American civilian who were assigned to protect Stevens. In my previous post I shared some insight from Steve's blog, Cry and Howl and added some thoughts of my own.
But now, I have discovered another reason for the Obama Administration to LIE about the planned attacks in both Libya and Egypt (on the 11th anniversary of 9/11/01, no less!)! They obviously wanted to cover up the now discovered FACT that Ambassador Christopher Stevens was a known homosexual who was sent as a diplomat in an Islamic country that blatantly KILLS HOMOSEXUALS and then sodomizes them (as a way to show the “utmost disrespect to the body").
Hillbuzz has the breaking story including photos of Mr. Stevens and his former gay lover.

Today I went out into the field here in Chicago looking to talk to some of the striking teachers but no one in a red-shirt was anywhere to be found (or, if they were wearing one, they had nothing to do with the teachers’ union strike). A journalist friend of mine asked me to nose around and see if I could uncover anything about slain Ambassador Chris Stevens, who was rumored to be gay. A former “roommate” of Stevens by the name of Austin Tichenor lives and works in Chicago and while making calls to friends of mine in the theater world who know him I also thought to check some sources with the city who deal with the State Department and foreign dignitaries when they are in town.
Of course, they’ve all been talking about Ambassador Stevens’ murder by Muslims in Libya: and all of them are incredulous that the State Department sent a gay man to be ambassador to a Muslim country. News reports continue to indicate that the Muslims who murdered Stevens also raped him repeatedly, before and after his death.
The Serbian consulate employee identified himself to me as “Dino” and wouldn’t give me any more of a name than that, but told me it was no secret that Chris Stevens was gay and that “it was stupid to send him to Libya as the ambassador when he was a known homosexual”.
Dino explained in great detail that the brutal sodomizing of Stevens’ corpse was something that Muslims do to show the “utmost disrespect to the body” and that this is “a great insult in Islam” reserved for homosexuals. ”It is like making him a woman in death and he will be a woman now after life” the Serbian explained to me. There’s a good chance this guy was Muslim too, and gay, which makes my head spin more than a little since he seemed to have no anger at all in his voice that Muslims in Libya assassinated the American ambassador and then sodomized his corpse.
“He should not have gone there” was the general consensus from this man.
You won’t hear any of this in the media, no doubt, but in Chicago’s diplomatic circles at least there is no doubt that Chris Stevens was gay and that pretty much anyone in the diplomatic world knew that. That includes the Libyans who were hired as security at the consulate in Benghazi who betrayed Ambassador Stevens and assisted in his murder

Meanwhile, the White House is ignoring the fact that a gay ambassador to a Muslim country was murdered and they are in fact still pretending that all of this is about some obscure movie about Muhammad and has nothing at all to do with Barack Obama repeatedly and vociferously spiking the football over killing Osama bin Laden (which took place all throughout the Democrats’ convention last week).
The only place on the MSM that I heard that Stevens was "sodomized and dragged through the streets in Libya" was on Sean Hannity's show. I doubt that the media of mass deception will share these DISGUSTING DETAILS (but they did share Hillary saying that the stupid little YouTube video was DISGUSTING) because it would not only be a HUGE embarrassment to the ObamaFarce Administration; but it would also show how absolutely IGNORANT the State Department was to send a known gay man into a radical Islamic country that kills homosexuals, rapes them before and after death, and drags their dead corpses through the streets.
AWFUL!!!
The combination of all of this new information (including the DNC "spiking the football" at convention over bin Laden's death) with what has been already known (e.g. it was a planned attack on 9/11/12) shows just how unconscionably ridiculous the Obama apology and appeasement policies are under this liberal leftist farce of an administration; and how the failed policies have resulted in more deaths for our troops in Afghanistan (heard on the Roger Hedgecock show yesterday an alarming statistic - that the death rate of our troops is up 70% during Obama's pResidency in the White House).
I shake my head in ABSOLUTE disbelief that ANYONE COULD EVER VOTE FOR OBAMA FOR ANY REASON EVER AGAIN!!!
P.S. If the media of mass deception - which is primarily being controlled by the Obama Socialist government - continues to hide Obama's gay life why would they reveal Christopher Stevens?

Dear Bill,
Your essay covered the gamut of feelings and thoughts that developed in my mind after this awful tragedy. I read what you had written at your blog late last night. There weren't any comments yet, and I could not write one at that time. I needed to ponder all that you wrote, think about it all, and then write a comment today.
Back in 2008, I wrote that Heath Ledger was said to have been haunted by the Joker character. Some people agreed, others claimed that he "loved" playing that character. I really think that evil affects people drastically, even when they can't admit it.
I didn't see any of the "dark knight" movies. The description that you provided cements my decision never to view them. Those who watch such evil movies, or movies with blatant curse words, or movies that disparage God, or movies that display disgusting porn become desensitized by the violence, aberrant sexual sin, hatred/disregard of God, and celebration of evil.
Jesus warned us that the closer we get to the end times, it would be "as in the days" of Noah and Lot. The secular world today celebrates abortion, homosexuality, sexual sin, perversion, lies, evil, sin and death. No wonder Jesus told us that his kingdom is "not of this world."
Thank you for this post. I plan to link to it in my next blog post because I think that people desperately need to read the wisdom, knowledge, and excellent analysis that you have provided. You tell the truth; as difficult as it may be for people to acknowledge or accept. What is most important is that you also provide the only way out - knowing Jesus Christ and Him crucified.
Your last two paragraphs are some of the most compelling that I have ever read! You have the ability to turn a huge tragedy into an invitation for redemption through Jesus Christ! That is what the world needs to read. It is better than any psychologist's words, psychiatrist's words, or any other human effort to try and comfort those who mourn.
Only the living God, His living Word and Son Jesus Christ, His written word the Bible, and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit of God can change the human heart from one of stone cold evil into a heart that can be redeemed to live with God forever in eternity.

When I heard that the coroner of Andrew Breitbart died and it is suspected that he was poisoned, it re-opened the suspicion in my mind, as well as many other blogger's minds, that Breitbart didn't actually die of "natural causes," but was assassinated through the use of a weapon, a CIA heart attack gun that induces heart-attack-like symptoms in a person in order to make it LOOK like the deceased person died from a heart attack. Perhaps the coroner was going to go public with damaging information regarding Breitbart's death?
During my Internet travels this evening, I found a VERY disturbing page that lists many suspicious deaths surrounding Obama and his ilk. We all must ask ourselves whether or not all of these deaths surrounding Obama could possibly be just a coincidence?
I had heard of most of the suspicious deaths on the list, but I was not previously aware of these:
Mama Lois” Anderson, 79, and her 52 year old daughter Zelda White: Two US women
aid workers were
shot dead in Nairobi in Kenya (2008) were the retired Presbyterian Church
missionaries of Pennsylvania (USA), known to thousands of Africans. The
suspected killers of the US women, who were travelling in a car with diplomatic
license plates, allegedly shot dead by police later. They were well
known for their work. There is speculation that they possibly had knowledge
of the birth and care for Barack Obama in Kenya and were later murdered to cover
the trail. When murdered, the Husband had his full wallet which the thieves/car
jacker didn’t take, and there was never a connection made to the said attackers the police later
shot dead, but blamed for the double homicide/car jacking. Their
church was burned in 2008, possibly to destroy any possible birth records
there. Then police chief Mohammed Hussein Ali was
later removed from office by Obama supported Kenyan strongman Odinga. All
possible witnesses ended up dead, all possible records of the care of infant
Obama burned in the church fire, and the public official responsible out of
office.
Holiyah Soetoro Sobah, aka Lia Soetoro, Obama’s adopted sister: died under
mysterious, sudden, and unusual circumstances just as she was getting ready to
be reunited with her childhood companion and adopted brother. She spoke of many

looking forward to seeing him, because she’d seen him on TV and was told that

If you think that ObamaFRAUD has been "the worst pResident ever," you may be absolutely correct. However, based on what was shared in that video, if he ended up being re-elected (GOD FORBID!!!) then we haven't seen ANYTHING yet. The evil, corruption, sin, death and destruction that would continue to occur here in America, against Israel, and around the entire world would be unleashed at such a level that the horrific results may not allow us to ever recover.
1. The fact that Obama's handlers went to great lengths to hide his bona fides, including the original paper document of his long form birth certificate, may be precisely because his true identity would NEVER have allowed him to be elected in the first place.

Keep in mind that the presenter (and narrator) of that video is (or was) a SUPPORTER of Barack Hussein Obama who just wants "the truth" to be revealed!
2. In the ongoing story about the mailman who recently revealed that he spoke with the unrepentant terrorist Bill Ayers' parents in front of the elder Ayers' home about a foreign student named Barack Obama back in the 1980's, we now find out that people in the mailman's own family "didn't want to hear" what the postman learned outside that house. This may help to explain why he didn't go public with the story until now.
The average person will find the White House released Birth Certificate a fraud for three obvious reasons.
1. Back in 1961 people of color were called 'Negroes'. The phrase 'African-American' on the certificate did not become commonly used until the mid 1970’s.
2. The White House birth certificate shows his father’s age as 25 years old and born in "Kenya, East Africa". At Obama’s birth, Kenya was known as the "British East Africa Protectorate". It didn’t become ‘Kenya’ until 1963.
3. On the birth certificate released by the White House, the place of birth is "Kapi'olani Maternity & Gynecological Hospital". This cannot be because the hospital(s) in question in 1961 were called "KauiKeolani Children's Hospital" and "Kapi'olani Maternity Home," respectively. The name did not change to Kapi'olani Maternity & Gynecological Hospital until their merger in 1978. These issues exist with the White House released BC even before one considers the bungled computer manipulated PDF layers and fonts. BUT, the reason for the supposed ‘cover-up’ and lack of records for Barak [sic] Obama is actually very simple. Mr. Obama’s second father legally adopted Barak[sic] and changed his name to ‘Barry Soetoro’. Nearly all the ‘missing’ records from the 1960-80’s; schools, student loans, scholarships, legal, travel, professional, etc. are under his ‘Barry Soetoro’ name or derivatives thereof. Both names were used by Barak[sic]/Barry as a convenien[ce] when needed.
For instance, Columbia only certifies Barak[sic] Obama’s surname for his first year of residence but not for the second year of the degree. But that’s because his Columbia 2nd year (actually about 10 months) was done in study abroad, in Pakistan. The college registration, passports, travel there and back, and his student loan applications were all made out under Soetoro. That’s because US foreign policy would prohibit a Hawaiian Barak[sic] Obama to travel to Pakistan but an Indonesian Muslim named Barry Soetoro could go. Show Columbia the legal adoption paperwork, add a friendly Professor or two, and you are good to go. Additionally, the Student Loan System at the time was nearly entirely manual and filed by SSAN. It was common for students to use different SSAN’s to get more money (which might explain the use of multiple Connecticut SSAN’s). Congress didn’t seriously address Student loan fraud until the 1990’s. Obama’s use of both names would be simple pragmatism for a smart young black man to get money, experiences and credit by using whatever appeals would work. Since there were very, very few smart young black men in college, he would readily get all the help he needed.
There is no ‘original, long form’ Hawaiian Birth Certificate because it is no longer filed under Barak [sic] Obama; it was pulled, manually changed and properly refilled under Soetoro when he was legally adopted back in 1966. It remains sealed even from the Hawaiian Governor; because Obama did not give permission or petition the Probate Court to legally ever changed it back! Why? Because while probably ultimately harmless, none of this pragmatism on his part was very attractive to a Presidential Candidate.
Exception to that last statement. If Obama LOST his citizenship when he became an Indonesian citizen when he was adopted by Soetoro, then there may have been ramifications in that scenario.
If Martha Trowbridge of Terrible Truth (this is a different link than article above so please read!) is correct, and Rev. Dr. Phil Valentine's analysis is correct, then we might have at least one answer as to why Obama/Soetoro/Soebarkah etc. has hidden his past from the public.

Please don’t shoot the messenger, BUT when speaking of “Natural Born” citizen, and the controversy surrounding the Obama Presidency, has anyone thought about this: Compare a photo of Malcolm X, and a photo of Obama Sr., with a current photo of President Obama, and tell me what you think. I see a striking similarity between President Obama and Malcolm X, and no similarity between his, supposed father, Obama Sr. Now couple this visual with the fact that President Obama’s mother knew Malcolm X, and that President Obama’s father also knew Malcom X, and then add the facts that Obama Sr. needed documentation to stay in the U.S., and that Malcom X could not afford a “love child”, and you might have the reason for Obama not letting anyone verify his birth certificate in the vault in Hawaii. There is something not logical in this posting of the Obama birth certificate on the Internet. Please also note that experts on document fraud have declared this posted birth certificate an amateur hoax. When something is not logical there just might be a problem between the actual truth, and the “declared truth”.

…”No matter how many times President Obama refers to the “problems he inherited,” he has now been in office three years. Certainly many of the current problems can be traced back to events that happened during the eight years that Bush held the top office, and some can be traced back to even earlier presidencies—but far from all of them.
Many of the problems are newly created (or made worse), and Barack Obama owns them. Candidate Obama stepped up and essentially said, “I want the job, and everything that comes with it” by running for president. After three years in office, the problems now belong to him and his presidency. He caused them, made them worse, or didn’t solve them. Either way, they are his now.
…In leadership, you cannot “pretend” to be a leader. You either are—or you aren’t—a leader. One or the other will become apparent very quickly.
If you want the leadership job, you must step up and take full ownership of it. A “pretender” or “poser” is like an actor who has learned all the right lines, but has no idea what they mean. Once the script has been followed (or deviated from), the actor is clueless about what to do next. This is the job of the leader. Unfortunately, in this government, the “directors” often seem clueless, having learned in academia where results and wins/losses are theoretical, or in politics where success (at getting elected) is more a matter of rhetoric than results.
If you are not ready for a position, or do not believe that you have what it takes to rise to the challenge (or clean up the mess even if you believe it is not your mess), then do not take the job. This was Barack Obama’s fundamental mistake. He grossly underestimated the difficulty of the position he was running for, and overestimated his preparedness to actually do the job. Just because he could “talk a good game” (thanks to a phalanx of speech writers and the omnipresent teleprompters) does not mean he actually knew what to do or how to do it. The presidency of the United States of America is not a place for heavy OJT (On-the Job-Training)….”
After the first three plus years of the presidency, it is painfully clear that Barack Obama was a “pretty face,” and “glib speaker” and a lightweight liberal politician with a community organizer/radical background. The American people should be outraged at this man’s behavior and even his candidacy. Why are they not? Because of the misinformation delivered by sympathetic liberal/mainstream media who loves his nonsensical form of governing.
…”Obama’s perceived preparedness for the presidency is a terrible delusion, from which it is difficult to escape. Mistakes build upon each other and result in even more complex problems. Difficult problems that are mishandled become even more difficult to fix. What should Americans think about this “imposter?” Will he divulge his true background so we can all see who he is and where he came from—really? If not, is this just a man who should never have been sworn into the office of President in the first place, and who has crippled Americans miserably during his term?
Will we continue to believe his misstatements (the politically correct term for lies)? Can he simply use the media to “erase and forget the past three years of misery and missteps?” Or will we learn from his imperialistic behavior and terrible results and throw him out in November?

Dear Readers, This is a CRUCIAL SUBJECT so PLEASE READ and share with everyone you know! Recall how the media of mass deception mocked Sarah Palin for her concern about the "death panels" written in the Obamacare bill? She was CORRECT FOLKS!
And remember when the Obama administration said they would not be “rationing care” in the future? That ol’ “death panels” thing I wrote about last year? That was before Obamacare was passed. Once it passed, they admitted there was going to be rationing after all. There has to be. The reality of Obamacare is that it enshrines what the New York Times called “The Power of No” – the government’s power to say no to your request for treatment of the people you love. The fact that the president used a recess appointment to push through the nomination of Dr. Donald Berwick as head of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services tells you all you need to know about this administration’s intentions. After all, Berwick is the man who said, “The decision is not whether we will ration care – the decision is whether we will ration with our eyes open.”
By the way, when the administration was talking about that independent board that has the statutory power to decide which categories of treatment are worthy of funding based on efficiency calculations (that, again, sounded to me like a panel of faceless bureaucrats making life and death decisions about your loved ones – which, again, is what I referred to as a “death panel”), it was another opportunity for Americans to hear the truth about Obamacare’s intentions.
So, yes, those rationing “death panels” are there, and so are the tax increases that the president also promised were “absolutely not” in his bill. (Aren’t you tiring of the untruths coming from this White House and the liberals in Congress?) When the state of Florida filed a challenge to Obamacare on the basis that the mandates in the bill are unconstitutional, the Obama Department of Justice filed a motion to dismiss the suit by citing the Anti-Injunction Act, which blocks courts from interfering with the federal government’s ability to collect taxes. Yes, taxes! Once the bill was passed it was no longer politically inconvenient for the Obama administration to admit that it makes no difference whether the payment is a tax or a penalty because it’s “assessed and collected in the same manner.” The National Taxpayer Advocate has already warned that “Congress must provide sufficient funding” to allow the IRS to collect this new tax. Pretty soon we’ll be paying taxes just to make it possible for the IRS to collect all the additional taxes under Obamacare! Seems as if this is another surprise that the public found out about after the bill was rammed through.

Why Justice Kagan Should Withdraw from Health Case
Should a U.S. Supreme Court justice pass judgment on a law she is known to support, one for which she apparently took a role in devising a legal defense strategy?
That’s a question many people are asking about Elena Kagan, who was U.S. Solicitor General when health care reform became law. Kagan’s “Simply amazing…” email to a colleague on March 21, 2010, celebrating the imminent passage of the health care restructuring bill, demonstrates her support for the law in which she is about to sit in judgment.

But there’s more. A Jan. 8, 2010 email from her deputy, Neal Katyal, states that “Elena would definitely like OSG [Office of the Solicitor General] to be involved in this set of issues [legal defense of health care reform].
Kagan was also copied on a March 18, 2010 email which outlined privileged information regarding the government’s legal strategy to defend the law.
Federal law requires a judge to withdraw from “any proceeding in which his impartiality might reasonably be questioned.” We believe that reasonable standard has been met in Justice Kagan’s case.

God's Word states that judges are to be impartial: "You shall not pervert justice; you shall not show partiality..." (Deuteronomy 16:19 NKJV). (bold mine)
Federal law states that a judge who has "served in governmental employment" must recuse if she has "expressed an opinion concerning the merits of the particular case in controversy." The law, 28 USC 455, also requires a judge to withdraw from "any proceedings in which his impartiality might reasonably be questioned."
That standard is more than met by the information contained in the few emails released by the U.S. Justice Department. With all due respect, Justice Kagan, you have a clear duty to recuse yourself in this case. Should you fail to do so, it will deeply stain your reputation and that of the Court. For all these reasons, we implore you to withdraw from this case.
When someone we love passes on, we grieve for their absence from this earth. However, Jesus came to fulfill what couldn't be done by anyone else. Because of his sacrificial death on the cross for our sins, we have a bridge from sinful man back to Holy God.

Jhn 14:6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
As believers in Jesus Christ, we can have the assurance of eternal life through God's provision of mercy and grace via the cross at Calvary. Christ's resurrection to life proves that He is who He said he is, the Son of God, Lord and Savior of mankind.
Which of these do you choose? Destruction, Control, and Death OR Creation, Submission and Life? When you really think about it, life on this earth leads to one choice over another. We can choose destruction, or we can choose creation. We can choose control or we can choose to submit to Someone greater than ourselves. We can choose death or we can choose life. It all leads to a decision. It all depends on in Whom one trusts his/her life during one's short, fleeting lifetime on this earth.
I started to think of these contrasts after watching a portion of Glenn Beck's show on T.V. today. Even though I don't agree with everything that Glenn Beck does, says, writes, or theorizes about; I must admit that I am going to miss his T.V. show when he leaves Fox News. He doesn't talk down to his audience. He makes us all think deeply. Often, what he comes up with is quite interesting. Sometimes, profound.
Glenn's guest today was Michael Scheuer, and their brief conversation was really great and quite educational. Scheuer told the truth. During a discussion about the killing of bin Laden and the sensitivities being bantered about surrounding his death, Scheuer said that the last three presidents have all stated many times that "we are not at war with Islam." However, Scheuer countered that idea with the truth, "Islam is at war with us." That is the truth that so many progressives/liberals just cannot admit. Mr. Scheuer's interview appears in the second segment at "The Daily Beck" link below. I encourage you to hear the rest of what he had to say.
I also appreciated Glenn's "thinking out loud" segment where he made a circle and fence around our idea of America (which, unfortunately, has been replaced by our "stuff"), and then listed Marxists, Statists, Globalists, and Islamic Sharia law jihadists who want to change what America was, is, and will be in the future. He said:
"We have to stop protecting our stuff. We need a competing idea against all of the above ideologies. Where is the competing idea? They all want to control. We must replace our "stuff" with an idea."

Glenn continued,
"All of the outside influences are about destruction and control. That is not what He (God) is about. He (God) is about Creation."
Now, I'm not sure what Glenn will say during tomorrow's show, but I thought that what he pointed out was an in-plain-sight revelation that We The People need to continually realize and utilize as we go through our time on this earth. We will always be battling against "powers and principalities" that are unseen in this world, but we certainly do feel the effects of such wickedness:
Eph 6:12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual [hosts] of wickedness in the heavenly [places].
Eph 6:13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Notice that we are to stand in order to withstand the evil of the day. How do we do that? I know of no other way than by standing with the truth - Jesus Christ. He is the way, the truth and the life!
With God's Word as our guide, we can show the world what is most important in this life. The battle between good vs. evil, and creation vs. destruction will go on until Christ returns for His Own. This means that in this world Christian believers can expect to be dismissed, rejected, reviled, ignored, persecuted or even killed. However, the last command of Jesus Christ to all of his followers after his Resurrection from the dead (and just before his Ascension back to the Father in heaven) was The Great Commission. He told them (and us) to go out into all the world and tell all peoples of the Gospel of Jesus Christ!
Mat 28:19 "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
Mat 28:20 "teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, [even] to the end of the age." Amen.
THAT is what matters most folks!
Our time on this earth is fleeting, but eternity lasts forever. Where one spends eternity depends, ultimately, in how one answers Jesus' question, "Who do you say that I am?"
