When I state that they are from the "old guard," I mean it in more ways than one. Both of these men are physically old (McCain, more than Graham), but what's worse is that they have been in the Senate forever!
I really think that there should be term limits.
The Senators who have been in office for decades (including Diane Feinstein and her stupid feigned "gun" control bills that are really people control bills!!!) need to be booted out and new blood brought in.
So many of them are out of touch with the American public!!!
The "old school" Republicans seem to think that in order to win, they need to be more like the progressive (a.k.a. regressive socialist) Democrats. But, by imitating Dems, all that they accomplish is the results of more dependency on government! Look at what only four dreadful years under ObaMarxist has done to get more of the electorate desperate enough to depend on government handouts! It was the "perfect storm" in politics.
Mr. Zero Jobs gives hand-outs instead of encouraging a hand UP via genuine job growth in the private sector!! Everything this pResident has done has minimized economic growth and job creation. From the nefarious deeds of the terrible ObamaSCARE bill (which we are finding out is causing health insurance premiums to skyrocket more anyone ever thought it would!!) to the current mindset to "inflict as much pain as possible" upon the public just so Obambi can lie again and claim that the sequester cuts hurt the people. He's the one who is PURPOSELY HURTING THE AMERICAN PEOPLE just to try and score political points for the next election! He wants Dems to take back the House in 2014 so that he can push through more of his Commie/Islamo-fascist/gay marriage/abortion/gun [people] control crap so he can further damage this nation.
That's disgusting, dishonorable, and dirty politics. But it is the type of politics that Obummer and his evil handlers and dumbed-down followers only know how to do. The community-organizer-in-chief and his bullying Chicago politics are in full operation now. No more elections for Obamafraud. But he and his ilk will continue to do all they can to demonize the opposition, get their way, and they don't even care how many Americans they will hurt doing so!!
It's really a damn shame that McCain and Graham are helping him do it, too. And it wasn't enough for them to say it once. They had to go on several news shows and repeat their propaganda!

I heard that several Democrats who actually agreed with Rand Paul's concerns wimped out and didn't stand with him on the floor of the House. The ObaMarxist regime gestapo probably threatened them if they did!!
McCain and Graham are, as Steve so humorously (and at the same time, seriously!!) pointed out in the photos at his blog, on the wrong side of history on this one. It was very disappointing to see them criticize Paul. It shows their contempt for the TEA Party Patriots. They probably secretly hate the likes of Ted Cruz, Mike Lee and others who were elected by We The People precisely because the "old guard" isn't getting the work done on Capital Hill!
I think that if this keeps up we are (unfortunately) going to see a repeat of the election of 2012 in 2016. The "old guard" Republicans forcing their milk toast candidate into the nomination while We The People are still screaming for the Constitutional Conservative in the primary!
When McCain claimed (on Shep Smith's Fox News Report) that he is "of the party of Reagan," I wanted to throw my hot dog lunch at the TV!! Reagan was INCLUSIVE - not divisive like McCain and Graham are towards other Republicans. I think that they have been brain-dirtied by our current Zero Jobs pResident who continues to utilize his Saul Alinsky/Cloward and Piven tactics of orchestrated crisis!
Keep it up, you old fogies and it will be YOUR FAULT that America's spiral down into the pit of destruction and despair by the PROGRESSIVES = SOCIALISTS = COMMUNISTS = LEFT-WING RADICALS = ANTI-CAPITALISTS = UNAMERICAN in office now will continue their evil right into the next election!

But, he revealed the committee members were all “legless drunk” the day they voted, as it was the start of Norway’s annual aquavit-tasting festival.
Certainly took them long enough to realize their mistake...didn't it???
