Conservatism Is Calling!

Hat tip: Restoring Liberty

Excerpt:

This is one of the exceptional videos of this election season, with hundreds of thousands of views over the last week.

The first half of the clip very effectively uses Obama’s own 2008 campaign rhetoric against him, something that would have been very effective in the debates.

It then describes the nations’s debt crisis, providing definition to the enormous numbers burdening our nation.

Finally, it gives a brief history on conservatism and conservative ideals.

It’s a catchy, fast-paced, and otherwise well done video.

Ryan Zings Obama at RNC Convention

Paul Ryan topped off a fabulous evening of speakers last night at the RNC Convention!

Video: Paul Ryan Rocks the RNC
nicedeb at Nice Deb - 8 hours ago

Reportedly, Paul Ryan worked on his speech for weeks, and it was a doozy. While it was a serious speech, he managed to zing Obama several times throughout, but as Charles Krauthammer said on Fox News afterward, it was “done more in sorrow than in anger”. It was a smart speech that addressed Medicare head [...]

Nice Deb writes:   Paul Ryan is sincere. He means what he says. Obama and the rest of the Dems Socialists who still stand with him will have nothing but scaremongering and lies to offer in Charlotte, and Obama’s lies are getting less convincing with each telling.

Yep!!!

I also loved hearing that New Mexico Governor, Susana Martinez, discovered that she and her husband were Republicans (and they switched parties from Democrat to Republican) based on the issues - not the screeching hateful rhetoric that the Dems often spew regarding political differences.

I think that the key to changing minds and hearts regarding political affiliation has more to do with the truth - including wisdom, knowledge and true solutions - rather than butting heads against the machine of false Democratic demogoguery which is often fueled by the media of mass deception!

Loved Ryan's comment about college grads who are jobless and sitting back in their parent's homes staring at faded Obama posters!!!  Ha ha haaaa!  What a fantastic word picture that will probably stay in the minds of voters when they enter that voting booth in November!  Millions are jobless because of Obama's failed economic policies.

Speaking of posters, it has become increasingly evident that Obama hasn't lived up to the "poster of praise" that was found hanging in his step-grandma's home in Kenya!

RNC Convention - Breath Of Fresh Air!

Last night, the RNC Convention speakers absolutely ROCKED THE HOUSE!  What an AWESOME breath of fresh air from intelligent, articulate, engaging, individuals who love America and want to turn us away from the failed policies of this awful administration back to fiscal sanity, economic prosperity, job creation, and a great future for our children and grandchildren!

From Congressional hopeful Mia Love all the way through to New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, each and every speaker added to the shining light of a new day to come once BHO and his ilk are out of office!!

Ann Romney's speech stole the show!  I also heard (from my hubby) that Rick Santorum's speech was awesome.  I had to walk the dogs at that point so I need to see what he shared via DVR.

I must say that C-Span did the best job.  It was free of the commercials, talking heads, and the haters that so many of the liberal left lunatic media of mass deception allow to spew their despicable rhetoric whenever a conservative has the chance to speak on a national level.  My son clicked over to MSNBulls**t Creeps to see what they were spitting out, and, of course, blowhard Chris Matthews didn't disappoint the liberal lefts loonies tuning into that despicable channel:

A$$hat Chris Matthews Slams GOP Chairman For Playing Invisible Race Card (Video)
Jim Hoft at The Gateway Pundit - 2 days ago

This was horrible. Chrissy “Tingles” Matthews lashed out at GOP Chairman today for playing the race card… because Romney cracked a joke about Obama’s birth certificate. What an unhinged idiot. Because only Barack Obama can make jokes about his birth … Continue reading →

Even C-Span got spammed by some haters via a few Twitter messages near the end at the bottom of the screen.  But such screechers could not abate the excitement, enthusiasm, and excellent points made by the speakers.  They had no good argument against the business owners who squelched Obama's "you didn't built that" idiocy with commentary of their own.  The haters and their awful beliefs could not hold a candle to all the attendees who celebrated, cheered, prayed, sang along with "Amazing Grace,." and clapped for each segment and speaker during the evening.

I avoided looking at blog posts until today at 12:30 p.m. PT.  I wanted to bask in the nice feeling I got watching the RNC Convention on C-Span.  But today, I got an eye-full of the hate that the left has for anyone who doesn't agree with their FAILED POLICIES, ABORTION - NO MATTER WHAT MINDSET, GLOBAL WARMING HOAXES, FOOD STAMP, UNEMPLOYMENT HORRID ECONOMIC NON-AGENDA, RADICAL  HOMOSEXUAL AGENDA, ANTI- TRADITIONAL MARRIAGE, SOCIALIST/COMMUNIST/MUSLIM SYMPATHIES, AND...the list could go on and on!

I was hoping that Mia Love would not be attacked for standing up for the conservative values that she believes in and holdS dear.  Of course - she was:

The line up is packed tonight, including Mia Love, who just finished her speech: If you haven’t contributed to her Money Bomb, what are you waiting for? Need more motivation, read what some smug creep at The Nation says about people like Mia, RNC Schedule: Tokenism Extraordinaire. Tokens? People like that writer are the real racists, they [...]

I was hoping that Artur Davis (who has since switched political parties from Democrat to Republican and gave a great speech yesterday) would not be hatefully attacked by the liberal leftist freaks - but of course he was too (as evidenced by what he said on Fox News today).  But look at what MSNBC DID:

Isn't it strange how liberal lunatic TV commentators don't get called "raaaccccisssst" when they overtly and obviously ignore a man who happens to be black, conservative, and articulate about why he spoke out against Obama and supports the GOP candidate Mitt Romney?

And then, there is this:

Good God: Parents of Fallen SEAL Members got FORM LETTERS From Obama – Not Even Personally Signed By Him - My disgust for this abysmal “Commander in Chief” is so off the charts it can not be measured quantifiably. On August 6, 2011, in an accident many say shoul...

Like I've said many times before, I think that Obama is going to lose in a landslide!!

No man is perfect and Mitt Romney will not be a perfect president.  But I think that he will be a HUGE improvement over what we are suffering with today in BHO's failed occupation in the people's Oval Office of the White House!

Now....let's see who is first to come over here and call me RAACCISST for, once again,  telling the truth about BHO!!

Paul Ryan as Romney's V.P. - Great Choice!

Last night, I read a variety of blogs that were speculating that Republican Presidential Nominee, Mitt Romney, has chosen Representative Paul Ryan as his running mate.

*******

I think that Ryan is a great choice!  He is very intelligent, articulate, wise, and an economic genius who will change the current EVIL government of mass deception under Obama into one that works FOR WE THE PEOPLE - NOT AGAINST US!

Of course, the naysayers are already at work against Ryan:

The inexperience of Obama has taken us down a tragic road over the past 3 1/2 years!!!  The Alinsky/Cloward Piven method of hoisting upon one's own petard (e.g. claiming things about your opponent's V.P. that DEFINITELY has aleady been shown to apply to the current pResident in the White House) is truly laughable at this point.  You know the old saying, "you can fool some of the people some of the time...."  Hopefully, most voters won't get fooled that easily again.
I thought that Ryan's speech was wonderful!!  I got the "ahhh...back to normalcy" feeling as he stated how important honesty, integrity, sound judgment, fiscal responsibility, economic stability, A SOUND BUDGET, more freedom and liberty,  less government intrusion, and common sense all need to return to Washington, D.C.!!

Last but not least, see how Paul Ryan's (now prophetic) intelligent and articulate arguments against Obamacare gets treated by the child-in-chief.  You will see Obambi flip the bird at him near the end of this video:

Paul Ryan: Hiding Spending Doesn't Reduce Spending

There are conservative bloggers who fear that Obama will do ANYTHING and EVERYTHING - legal or illegal - to stay in office.  No kidding!   I do not doubt that he and his sniveling, conniving desperately evil surrogates would even kill (oops...they already have done that!) to sway the election in their favor.

But I do think that sending up prayers on a daily basis can help ease such fears.  After all, the ObaMARXIST regime has it's boot on the throats of the media to broadcast what THEY WANT - in essence - delving into mind control over the people.  It may have worked in 2008, but I don't think it will in 2012.  Too many people have wised up to the shenanigans and they won't get fooled again.
I wouldn't be surprised to see an landslide victory by the Romney/Ryan ticket!

During the introduction of Paul Ryan to the podium for the V.P. announcement, Romney inadvertently said, "Paul Ryan, the next president of the United States."  I'm sure that the liberal left lunatics in the media will have a field day with that mistake.  But it is understandable that Romney said that.  He has been on the campaign trail for months asking for votes to be "the next president of the United States" so that line was ingrained in his mind.  Let the liberals laugh...because Republicans will have the last laugh after all is said and done.  And, maybe Romney's brief error (corrected before Ryan spoke) will turn out to be prophetic!  After 8 years with Romney at the helm, it would be deeply satisfying to have Ryan for the following 8 years as the new president in 2020!!  It will probably take close to two decades to unravel all of the harm and destruction that Obummer and his ilk have wreaked upon our beloved nation!

I'd like to sent a "shout out" to my friend MaryAnn's husband, Jerry.  After Obama was elected in 2008, he stated, "Let's hope that he (Obama) does such a terrible job that Republicans will hold the presidency for the next 20 years!!"  Jerry?  I hope and pray that your little epiphany becomes reality!

Hooray For Herman Cain!!

What an ABSOLUTELY PLEASANT SURPRISE it was for me today to learn that Herman Cain won the Florida GOP Straw Poll!!! The more I hear from this man, and the more I learn about this man, the more I like!!

My stats have indicated that I have been getting hits at this blog almost every day where the person typed in the question, "did Herman Cain vote for Obama?" Even if he did...so what? My brother (and several other relatives who wouldn't listen to my warning about Obama) voted for him back in 2008 and I have forgiven them for their errors! Ha! Many have admitted what a huge mistake they made.

The individuals who typed in that search phrase about Mr. Cain found the following blog post entitled Herman Cain Opens Up About Obama. It wasn't quite what the searcher was looking for, but at least they had the chance to read that way back in April, Sarah Palin endorsed Herman Cain as her possible choice for the GOP nomination.

I thought that Mr. Cain's debate answers in the Fox News/Google/YouTube debate on Thursday were awesome! Hearing about his personal struggle with colon and liver cancer, his victory over the dreaded disease, and how Obamacare would have slowed the process for his treatment and complete recovery, was one of the best moments of the night.

Nice Deb as a great post up about Mr. Cain.

And the Fox News Channel website article has over 4,328 comments!!

There is a lot that I like about Herman Cain. He is supportive of the platform of the TEA Party (and does a great job countering the false accusations that the TEA Party is racist). He is a successful businessman who knows how to create jobs because he already has done so in the private sector. He would most likely chose a great VP and Cabinet - based on the knowledge of the individuals, not because he needs to pay back supporters (like Obama did with the liberal lunatics and union bosses). He is a Christian, he loves America, and HE IS A NATURAL BORN CITIZEN OF AMERICA! His 999 tax idea sounds wonderful, and he is NOT an establishment Republican type like Romney and Perry.

I still need to do more research and learn more about Mr. Cain, but what I already know about him makes me so happy that he is breaking away from that previously "unknown" status due to winning the Florida Straw Poll!!

Way to go Herman!

America Needs Candidate Who Loves God, His Word, and Our Nation! [UPDATE!]

Before Conservatives get all excited about Donald Trump running for president via the GOP ticket, you need to educate yourself about Trump's past. And, I'm not even talking about his personal past. His political past is stained with contributions to liberals - even the criminal types of leftists!

Nice Deb: Rogue Elephant, Donald Trump Is Stampeding Out Of Control.

My comment at Nice Deb (still in moderation):

I have had a sneaking suspicion that all of the bluster coming from Trump would soon result in disappointment. Thank you for posting this valuable information. I knew that it was only a matter of time until one of the conservative bloggers on my blog sidebar list [Thank you Nice Deb!] posted some damaging information about Trump.

*Sigh*

Now I don’t know WHAT to think about him! His past contributions to lefties REALLY bothers me!

I wish Chris Christie would run….

I also wish Michele Bachman could win! But the media of mass deception would destroy her character as much as they have done to Sarah Palin.

I wish more people knew how great Mike Pence, a true and honorable conservative, would be as a presidential contender!

There are so many more great men and women who could run, but they aren't as well known right now.

I pray that whoever does get the Republican nomination is a Bible-based Christian, pro-life, pro-one woman and one man marriage; pro-Israel, knowledgeable about creating jobs and restoring our economy, pro-drilling in the U.S.A., strong against radical Islamic terrorism, a believer in the Judeo-Christian founding of our nation, and a strong believer in our U.S. Constitution (freedom oriented!); strong on foreign policy issues, feared by our enemies - both foreign and domestic, willing to go with Paul Ryan's 2012 budget plan, willing to stand up to China; able place the fear of God into Iran and North Korea's rogue dictators and nuclear weapons ambitions and willing to clean up the massive corruption in Washington D.C.; pro-border fence between the drug cartels in Mexico and America, anti-illegal immigration, and not afraid to be politically incorrect against all of the liberal leftist, Marxist, Islamo-fascist corruption agenda that is now damaging our beloved nation!

Is that too much to ask?

Now for reality.

No person could possibly fit the bill in all of what I have just written. No matter who we get into office in 2012, they are only human and will probably disappoint each and every one of us on one or more of the issues listed above. However, as a Christian first, conservative second, there are SOME issues that I won't back down on.

The country has seen enough of the damaging world view that this ObamaFRAUD puppet and his evil puppeteers have wreaked upon this nation. We need to make sure that Obama is a one term pResident and pray that people across America will do the research necessary to cast their vote for a new candidate who LOVES GOD, HIS WORD, AND AMERICA!

- Christine

Recently, I have been re-reading old copies of "Our Daily Bread." In the March, 2002 edition, Sunday March 10th tells us:

Many of us who are sincere Christians worry that our faith seems too small. but we need to distinguish between the size of our faith and the object of our faith.

Jesus taught that if we have faith no bigger than a tiny seed (Matthew 17:20), God will respond to our prayers according to His will, wisdom, and grace (i John 5:14-15). He hears the faintest cry of our hearts, the feeblest whisper of our lips, and in love He listens and responds to our faith (Matthew 14:26-31).

No matter how small and insufficient we think our faith is, let's keep on praying. Remember, it is the object of our faith - our Almighty God - not the size of our faith that is all-important. - VCG

It matters not how large or small
Your faith may seem to be;
What really counts is whom you trust
In life's uncertainty. - Fitzhugh

As 2010 Winds Down

As another year quickly comes to a close, I find myself thinking about a variety of thoughts. In a reminiscent way, I have been thinking about many of the events (the good, the bad, and the ugly) that occurred during 2010. I have either written about many of them, or linked to blogs that have discussed these events. Some readers have enjoyed what I have written (and linked to), while others stated that they did not like what I chose to write about this past year. So be it!

Some readers prefer that I write ONLY about Jesus and the Bible and not so much about Obama and the gangster government he created which is currently wreaking havoc upon the American people.

I am of the opinion that it is very important for Christians to be engaged in whatever is happening - politically, socially, morally, and intellectually in our nation and in the world. It is through these events that we can be alert to the spiritual battle that is going on and informed about how close we are getting to the end times. I have tried to live up to the descriptive reason that I put at the top of my blog when I decided to start writing online several years ago:

Talk Wisdom's goal is to defend the tenets and values of Biblical Christian faith. We defend our Constitutional Republic and Charters of Freedom, especially when speaking out against destructive social and political issues. As followers of our Savior and Lord, we should boldly stand up for Jesus Christ in our present circumstances. He is our Savior, Lord, and King, and His love needs to be shed abroad in our hearts and in our world - now.

Over the years, I have come across comments from skeptics who pompously claim that when the Bible tells us that Jesus "is coming quickly" - it's a lie. However, what these nonbelievers do not realize is that the term "quickly" can mean "suddenly." Therefore, Christians in every generation need to be prepared for His return. When he does return, it will be a sudden event.

I think that it is a very good thing that Jesus' return will be sudden. If we all knew when Jesus was coming back for his church, what habits might we be tempted to change?

We are told to wait, watch and work until the Lord takes us into His Kingdom. Which of these three might suffer if we knew for sure exactly when Jesus would return? You guessed it - our work for the sake of the Kingdom would suffer.

Speaking of working for the sake of the Kingdom, Sarah Palin discusses her faith in her new book. As I finished reading "From The Heart," I wondered whether or not she would run for the Republican nomination for president in 2012.

The more I get to know her through her books, her T.V. show - Sarah Palin's Alaska - and her commentaries both at the Fox News Channel and on Facebook, the more obvious it appears to me that her wonderful and positive Christian influence on the world of politics as well as her dedication to the American people and the ideals instilled by our Founders for our Constitutional Republic would be better served if she continued doing exactly what she has been doing over the past two years.

Don't get me wrong - if she ran for president I would definitely support her!

However, think about all of the powerful influence that she has had on everything from criticizing (and rightly so!) the Obama administration's terrible policies to helping to get a Republican majority back in the House of Representatives. Look at how successful she was in backing the TEA (Taxed Enough Already) Party candidates and helping many of them to get elected! Look at the success she has demonstrated in raising five wonderful children! Look at the success she enjoyed showing the public the beauty of her home state and the adventures that her family has enjoyed living there!

Recently, William Kristol (editor of the Weekly Standard and Fox News Contributor) went on the record to state his opinion that Sarah Palin will not run for president in 2012. Could he be correct about that? Only time will tell.

I do know this. Sarah Palin is not the type of person who would run for office for fame, fortune or glory. How do I know this? Because she believes that all the glory belongs to the Lord! She would sincerely do it to serve the American people - only if she felt that they (and most of all - God) are calling her to serve in this manner. That is the difference between someone who is being an obedient servant of God for the Kingdom, rather than an elitist who thinks he (like Obama), or she should be crowned "king or queen" and have the minions serve him/her.

This is one of the greatest differences between Obama and Palin. Palin is a genuine Christian who desires to serve the Lord, care for her family, and if necessary, serve the nation. But she will base her decision on whether or not the Holy Spirit's guiding leads her in that direction. She will rely on the calling that God would give her at this time in history to determine His will for her life.

Obama has revealed himself as being a fake type of Christian who uses the religion whenever he is trying to get people to follow him or vote for him and his ill-begotten legislation. His policies have been an absolute disaster! Hopefully, the incoming House Republicans can reverse most of the damage.

Whatever Sarah Palin decides to do with her future, America can be very proud of this "Mama Grizzly" woman who represents the REAL women in America. She is GENUINE - not ANYTHING LIKE the phony leftist women who parade around as self-described "feminists" who care more about abortion rights than anything else in life. The liberalism of the leftist elite females won't allow them to recognize that they should "choose life - your mother did." Instead, they will support any and all organizations that would snuff out the lives of unborn children and call it a "normal" endeavor. What sick-in-the-mind type of logic is that? Abortion KILLS BABIES IN THE WOMB! That is the sad, disgusting, and evil truth of the matter. It is time to start offending these "femi-Nazis" for the sakes of all of the defenseless unborn boys and girls that they think matter less than the dumb slogan - "a woman's right to choose." We must ask, "choose what?" Death for their unborn child?

Women like that - including most of the ones who host that awful show - "The View" - hate Sarah because she is normal and they are not. Their most cherished liberal beliefs are exposed as the sins that they truly are by conservative Christian women like Sarah Palin. And they hate and despise her for that!

The Bible has a lot to say about "deeds being evil."

Jhn 3:19 "And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

Ezekiel even goes so far as to say that such people will secretly "loathe themselves":

Eze 36:31 "Then you will remember your evil ways and your deeds that were not good; and you will loathe yourselves in your own sight, for your iniquities and your abominations.

It is because of men/women "loving darkness rather than light" that makes them feel shameful for their "evil ways and deeds that were not good." What could be more evil and shameful than killing an innocent human being in the womb?

The truth is that women who have had abortions often feel terrible and unrelenting guilt for their entire lives. It is not a quick "solution" to their pregnancy dilemma. However, there is forgiveness for such a sin at the foot of the cross of Jesus!

It is my prayer that God will keep His loving arms of protection over our nation as we head into a new year. Without Jesus, we are truly lost. He is the way, the truth and the life - no one comes to the Father but by him! It is my sincere and heartfelt prayer, dear reader, that no matter where you came from or have been this year (or, for that matter, in the next), that you will come to the realization that you need the Savior! Choose you, this day, whom you will serve! I pray that you will choose to know the love, grace and mercy of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!

New Morning in America

What a fabulous video narrated by Sarah Palin! It sums up the excitement, the enthusiasm, the real hope and positive changes that will come as a result of the political tsunami that occurred on election day, 2010. Those who were voted out were replaced by the choices of WE THE PEOPLE to stand for us and do the WILL OF THE PEOPLE instead of what we have seen (Marxism, Czar thuggery, bloated government, relentless spending that didn't create jobs etc.) over the past 18 horrible months of Obama, Pelosi and Reid.

Conservatives: Unbending Commitment to Freedom

At the time of this writing, I have but one chapter left to read from Sean Hannity's book,
"Conservative Victory: Defeating Obama's Radical Agenda."
As I had already mentioned in a previous post, the first several chapters which describe Obama's history of radicalism, his new radical friends, Obama the Socialist, and Obama the appeaser were truly frightening - to say the least - and emphasized the extreme importance for conservative victories in both the 2010 and 2012 elections.

While reading the first four chapters of the book, I was tempted to skip over to the section where Sean reveals how we must move forward and reclaim the future. But I was good! I didn't cheat!

Now that I am in chapter nine entitled, "What Are Our First Principles?" I was able to breathe a breath of fresh air. Reading the words of Ronald Reagan brought me back to a time in the history of our nation where common sense, liberty, economic growth, strength in our national defense, and the preservation of our orderly, morally healthy, and stable society existed. Today, I see nothing but chaos.

I am going to share a portion of the subtitled section called "The Real Ideologues and Extremists." If you haven't read the book yet and you like to read books in chapter order, this is your warning for a possible spoiler alert.

Sean starts out stating that our beliefs as conservatives are clear and firm. This does not mean that we are "extremists." Of course, it is the leftist liberal progressive ideologues job to paint us that way. Need proof? Recall the negative commentary by most of the Lamestream Media pundits who continually disparaged the TEA Party patriots who protested WITHOUT ANY VIOLENCE (except for some ObamaBot thugs who infiltrated and started trouble) across our nation for the past year and a half.

It's really weird. The fringe on the left want Americans to think that conservative beliefs are unrealistic and dangerous. Yet, far from being extreme, the TEA Party patriot movement indicates that our beliefs are fundamentally American!

Sean writes:

Were our framers extreme? Perhaps so, if only because they were founding a new nation in a world dominated by monarchies, oligarchies, tyrannies, and oppression. They were carving out a new space for freedom in a world were liberty was radical in theory and scarce in practice.

This, among other reasons, is precisely why most Americans hold to the idea of American exceptionalism. To the socialist left, such an idea is abhorrent. They want everything, and everyone to be equal - as is explained in their social justice beliefs - rather than for everyone to have the freedom and liberty to pursue happiness through equal justice. There is an enormous difference. Want a quick illustration? Greece. Their social justice policies (including cradle to grave entitlements from the government) are collapsing under the weight of that nation's huge debt. So, the people (mostly unions) are violently protesting in the streets because their entitlements need to be cut to save the nation from going under. Is this the direction that we want America to be heading? I don't think so! But that is the trap that the ObaMARXIST administration is now setting for us. And he and his evil Marxist cohorts are doing it at a breakneck speed.

It was recently announced that some big companies (like Verizon) are considering paying the fine to the government so that they don't have to provide health care coverage for their employees. The accountants at such companies figured out that it would only cost (estimate) around $.68 per employee to pay the fine, while it would cost $4.59 per employee (estimating here) to insure all of the company's employees. Conclusion. Who benefits in this scenario? Big government! They will get the company fine money, as well as the money from the dropped employees who will be forced to buy health care insurance from the government. As more and more companies join in with the scheme, the private health insurance industry will go out of business. Now you know why the TEA Party patriots were protesting against socialized medicine. We all had the foresight to see where it leads - government takeover of the health care industry.

Back to Sean's book:

But that was nearly two hundred and fifty years ago. The civilized world has long since caught up with our framers' unbending commitment to freedom; liberty is no longer an extreme political demand, but rather the fundamental human right. And we mainstream conservatives merely carry the same torch our forefathers did. We believe in adhering to the Constitution as written; in maximizing our liberties within the context of law; in maintaining a strong defense; and in traditional values and a strong, unwavering faith in God.

What is additionally very important is the fact that we endorse policies that are proven to have worked!

When Ronald Reagan was president, I saw how horribly the media treated him. But he was no shrinking violet. He stood up for his principles and values, and in a positive way (and often quite humorous ways) he stuck it in the eyes of the Lamestream Media and made them look foolish in front of anyone who was really paying attention. However, in an 180 degree turn from the pettiness, narcissism, snobbery, prideful (of self-importance), negative, and condescending attitude that Obama possesses today, Ronald Reagan had class, character, truth, and genuineness when he spoke about challenging the negative perceptions hurled at conservatives to discredit us and undermine our cause:

"If we allow ourselves to be portrayed as ideological shock troops without correcting this error," he said, "we are doing ourselves and our cause a disservice. Wherever and whenever we can, we should gently but firmly correct our political and media friends who have been perpetuating the myth of conservatism as a narrow ideology."

Sean adds:

And, in my view, if we express these principles clearly and firmly, another reward will follow: Moderate and centrist Americans will feel genuinely comfortable among us. For the truth is that our beliefs are straightforward, grounded in moral clarity and common sense, and worthy of a wide and deep following. Indeed, our task is not so much to convert people to our cause, but to make them realize -- by clearly articulating our principles and countering the propaganda that exists about us -- that they already share most of our beliefs.

Sean Hannity was one of the few radio and T.V. commentators who was willing to expose Obama's radical ties during the 2008 presidential campaign. Unfortunately, many Americans ignored his warnings (and often called him derogatory names for speaking the truth about Obama's evil and radical ties) and voted for him anyway. Now, a week does not go by where people calling into Sean's radio show do not tell him that he was right about Obama all along. It's truly a hard lesson learned, isn't it?

Sean continues:

[N]o, the true blind ideologues in today's society are liberals, who continue to push for policies and programs long after decades of painful experience have proven that they don't work. As Reagan said, "Ideology...always conjures up in my mind a picture of a rigid, irrational clinging to abstract theory in the face of reality. We have to recognize that in this country 'ideology' is a scare word. And for good reason. Marxist-Leninism is, to give but one example, an ideology....If the facts don't happen to fit the ideology, the facts are chopped off and discarded."

That is exactly what the American people are feeling right now - "a picture of rigid, irrational clinging to abstract theory in the face of reality." As Glenn Beck has demonstrated over and over again on his T.V. via the chalkboard illustrations he does, the radicals in charge in our government today are a hopeless bunch of ideologues who cling to their Marxist theories (that history has proven DON'T WORK!) and they force their ill-conceived notions onto the American people WHO DON'T WANT THEM! This is exactly why all of the worthless bills that have been passed DO NOT FIT IN THE FACE OF REALITY! Joblessness has increased again - up from 9.7% to 9.9%. Didn't some leaders (I use the word lightly) in Washington recently tell us that the economy is recovering? Guess what people - THEY LIE!!

Sean continues:

But his (Reagan's) next sentence was perhaps his most important:

I consider [blind ideology] to be the complete opposite to principled conservatism. If there is any political viewpoint in this world which is free from slavish adherence to abstractions, it is American conservatism. When a conservative states that the free market is the best mechanism ever devised by the mind of man to meet material needs, he is merely stating what a careful examination of the real world has told him is the truth. When a conservative says that totalitarian Communism is an absolute enemy of human freedom he is not theorizing--he is reporting the ugly reality captured so unforgettably in the writings of Alexander Solzhenitsyn. When a conservative says it is bad for the government to spend more than it takes in, he is simply showing the same common sense that tells him to come in our of the rain. When a conservative says that busing does not work, he is not appealing to some theory of education--he is merely reporting what he has seen down at the local school. When a conservative quotes Jefferson that government that is closest to the people is vest, it is because he knows that Jefferson risked his life, his fortune and his sacred honor to make certain that what he and his fellow patriots learned from experience was not crushed by an ideology of empire.

That last part of Reagan's quote - "what he and his fellow patriots learned from experience was not crushed by an ideology of empire" - describes how many TEA Party patriots felt when they saw the crushing ideological implementation of bills that WE THE PEOPLE rejected from ObaMARXIST and the progressive Dem Congress; but were nonetheless forced down our throats anyway!

Sean goes on to say that government deficit spending should be rejected - and is rejected by common sense conservatives. It is actively destructive and runs against basic reasoning.

Conservatives advocate peace through strength. There is good and evil in the world and appeasement of tyrants is immoral and dangerous!

The success of supply-side policies for economic growth shows that reducing income taxes increases overall revenue. And Sean makes one of the most telling observations of his book:

When a liberal opposes such policies, it's not because they don't work, but because they interfere with his rigid ideology--his belief that government should take the leading role in distributing wealth.

The redistribution of wealth is a Marxist idea. And Sean rightly states that liberal base their decision not to cut capital gains taxes because they believe that it's better for everyone to suffer equally, rather than for some to benefit more than others - a classic Marxist position, as painful as that is to say.

I would add that when some people "benefit more than others" - it helps create more jobs! Hey - I would LOVE to have the income of a baseball or football player, but realistically, it is not in the cards. But do I begrudge the fact that they make millions of dollars a year? No. Isn't it funny, however, that Obama claims that "at some point, you have made enough money" to the high income business CEO's, yet Obama himself made 5 million dollars last year? How much does Al Gore take in through his global warming hoax? He just purchased a 9 million dollar home near a beach in California! What happened to the threat he claimed in his bogus documentary that the seas will rise and wash away homes on the coast? Is he not worried about that anymore? Can you see the absolutely astounding hypocrisy of these people???

Many conservatives dispute the absolutism of the global warming fanatics. And we now have proof of the hoax. Recall those emails from Britain that exposed the "cooked books" of scientific faux research used to feed the frenzy of the Cap and Trade loons?

Sean states it better than I could:

When liberals declare the existence of a false scientific consensus on global warming, they are perpetrating an enormous fraud: It is they themselves, not the skeptics, who are the real flat-earthers in the debate. When they support policies that will destroy our economy, transfer wealth to third-world nations without even helping those nations ultimately to help themselves, and suggest that we wastefully and foolishly forgo our own available energy resources, they are advocating a devastating course for America--all for no appreciable difference in the global environment.

How can people embrace such insanity?

Here's the answer, Sean: FOR GREED AND POWER! Readers, if you haven't already seen the film clips of Glenn Beck's show on Crime Inc. you MUST see it and spread this information to everyone you know!!

Sean continues:

The truth is clear: It is the American liberal, not the American conservative, who is actually trapped by ideology. This is why, instead of debating the facts, liberals retreat to their emotions and respond with their empty, moralizing lectures.

We conservatives must remember the simple fact that we are merely peddlers of common sense, advocates of policy that's based on the wisdom of experience. We are anything but extreme.

As Ronald Reagan put it,

The common sense and common decency of ordinary men and women, working out their own lives in their own way--this is the heart of American conservatism today. Conservative wisdom and principles are derived from the willingness to learn, not just from what is going on now, but from what has happened before. The principles of conservatism are sound because they are based on what men and women have discovered through experience in not just one generation or a doze, but in all the combined experience of mankind.

"When we conservatives say that we know something about political affairs, and that we know can be stated as principles, we are saying that the principles we hold dear are those that have been found, through experience, to be ultimately beneficial for individuals, for families, for communities and for nations -- found through the often bitter testing of pain, or sacrifice and sorrow.

How true--and how relevant even today.

Reagan faced the same kind of political opposition we conservatives face today.

And his response captures the core truth we must remember: that it is our opponents who are the extremists, not us. As he said;

Let us lay to rest, once and for all, the myth [that conservatives are] a small group of ideological purists trying to capture a majority. Replace it with the reality of a majority trying to assert its rights against the tyranny of powerful academics, fashionable left-revolutionaries, some economic illiterates who happen to hold elective office and the social engineers who dominate the dialogue and set the format in political and social affairs. If there is any ideological fanaticism in American political life, it is to be found among the enemies of freedom on the left or right--those who would sacrifice principle to theory, those who worship only the god of political, social, and economic abstractions, ignoring the realities of everyday life. They are not conservatives.
