BHO BADministration Using Miramar Air Show As A Political Ploy!

Dear Readers,

Just a few days ago, I recall viewing T.V. ads about the upcoming annual Miramar Air Show in San Diego, California.  It was supposed to begin tomorrow, October 4, 2013.

When the federal government shutdown happened, I thought to myself, "I wonder if the air show will be affected?"  This morning, there was a report on Channel 6 San Diego news that it had, indeed, been cancelled.

While texting about this with my friend Donna, she shared some facts with me that shows conclusively that this cancellation of the air show was not necessary and was done only for political purposes.  The following is Donna's email to me:

Chris,

I was just watching the local news this morning (KUSI Channel 9) and I heard that the Mira Mar Air Show has been cancelled.  I was so upset, because even the local news stated that there was no reason for this.  I called Congressman Hunter’s office, and was told it was originally almost halted, because of the sequester.  They were given new guidelines making it difficult for the show to go forward, but they were able to work within those guidelines to enable the show to continue.  They had private funding for the areas that would not be funded from the government first and then reimbursed back after the show.  The Mira Mar show is always a money maker for the community and the Marine Corp support.   It is not a drain on the economy or budget in any way.

Just this morning the Pentagon, which had not responded to the process that had been worked with to go forward came out with new parameters for the air show to go forward.  Here is the kicker.  The Pentagon states that it is political, and they don’t want the air show to happen.  They still have not shown the new parameters to Duncan Hunter or anyone else involved in the air show.

This is a self sustaining and money making event every year.   It affects the whole community.  There are vendors that sell food, tee shirts, toys, and any number of things. All the money that has been already fronted will have to somehow be given back.

I was watching Blaze TV (Glenn Beck) this morning and he was just saying how we need to get the truth out.  People need to see and hear what is really going on. Situations like the WWII monument need to be seen for what they are.  The Mira Mar Air Show cancellation is a political ploy that needs to be seen on a national level. Please tweet to the media, especially Glenn Beck.   The truth about who is inflicting pain, and why it all needs to be revealed.

Thanks,

Donna

Harry ReiDUNCE and BHO tried to shut down the WWII Memorial when veterans were scheduled to visit.  Republican Congressmen came to the area and helped tear down the unnecessary barricades [I call them "Barrycades" (Soetoro)  - a.k.a. Barack Hussein Obama] placed there which inevitably cost more money than to just leave the area open.  What was the purpose?  These disgusting tyrants in government WANT TO INFLICT AS MUCH PAIN AS THEY CAN on the American people for political reasons!

I hope that everyone who reads this post will pass on the following VERY IMPORTANT information.  People need to see the evil and nefarious lengths that the ObaMARXIST BADministration will go to in order to LIE, CHEAT, DISPARAGE, DENIGRATE, and DECEIVE the American people.  They try to pass off their unwillingness to negotiate as the fault of Republicans in Congress.

Why?

They do this in order to spew propaganda through the lapdog media;  heaping all the blame on Conservative Republicans in Congress for the government shutdown.

The corruption in this BADministration is egregious and undeniable!  What's worse is that the media of mass deception and corruption is complicit in all the deceit!

As I get more information on this story I will post it here.

Thanks for reading this.  I sincerely hope that you will share this story with others so that they will know the truth regarding what is REALLY going on in Washington D.C.!

Earlier this summer (in July) I went to the commissary at the local base to do my usual grocery shopping. Imagine my surprise to find it closed; DeCA, in a cost-cutting move necessitated by the sequestered Congress, had closed many such establishments on a number of bases. The “furlough” was set to last for eight consecutive Mondays.
This meant of course that all the people who use that facility, all the active-duty personnel and their families, authorized civilians and retirees like myself, had to adjust our own schedules accordingly. For the people who live on base it probably was no more than a minor inconvenience, but I live 17 miles away, and it's not that easy to get to. For retirees less mobile than myself, I'm sure the inconvenience was not a minor one.

Because some in Congress decided to pull their heads out, the eight-week closure lasted only six. Now, I suspect it will commence again. You say the closure of the air show was 'political'; of course it was! The partial closure of the commissary was also political. Personally, I'm more concerned that those pilots and their support crews can buy food when they want to, and they can't necessarily do that now.
Tell us, did your friend Donna bother to see if anything is operating at reduced hours at Miramar? There's a goodly number of bases in the San Diego area—Coronado, Miramar, Camp Pendleton, North Island...how about them as well? For personnel overseas, it was a greater concern, but DeCA made it clear that those commissaries would continue normal hours.

You say the closure of the air show was 'political'; of course it was! The question is, who is playing politics with it? It seems once again that it's the Republicans who care nothing about 'we the people': they apparently want twenty million people without medical insurance to remain that way. They've voted against it, they've argued against it, they've dragged their feet to not implement it, they've told lies to the public about it, and they're prepared to drag our still-fragile economy to the edge of the abyss again—just to keep it that way.

A federal government shutdown causes a large number of civilian federal employees to be furloughed. Active duty military personnel and "essential" employees are not furloughed, but may not be paid as scheduled if at all for the period of the furlough.

For the Department of Defense, at least half of the civilian workforce, and the full-time, dual-status military technicians in the National Guard and traditional Guardsmen are furloughed and not paid while the shutdown is in effect.

Shutdowns in the past have also affected the Washington, D.C., municipal government, closing schools and suspending utilities such as garbage collection.

Some people are in these sectors are living hand to mouth as it is and now, I fear, some will be unable to pay their bills and provide for their family. Some children will go hungry!

And your whining about an air show...seriously?

What's the matter with you?

You miss the point, John. The fact is that the air show wasn't costing any federal government money. It was already funded. Plus, it helps make money for the community and Marine Corps support.

Another example. Governor Jan Brewer of Arizona offered to use state money to keep the Grand Canyon open. This offer was refused. There are so many more examples that could be shared here. Do some research!

So, why was the Miramar Air Show ordered shut down by Obummer? Answer: in order to inflict as much pain and harm on states, communities, individuals, etc. because that's what people like him do. They follow the Alinsky Rules for Radicals playbook while also utilizing the Cloward and Piven method for orchestrated crisis in order to get their nefarious deeds done while making the American people suffer unnecessarily.

Read those links. Get educated.

GM -

Recall that the sequester was Obama's idea? I rest my case on that one.
