What Will America Achieve by Lobbing Missiles into Syria, With No Targets in mind?

The following is a great email sent by my friend Donna N. (who joined me during the TEA Party rallies against Obamacare back in 2009) regarding the need for outraged Americans to call their representatives and tell them that we don't want to get involved in the civil war going on in Syria!

I was looking for the outrage about military action in Syria on the social media and a call to action, but I don’t see it.  From polls being taken most people do not think it is a good idea to lob a few hundred missiles into Syria without any real strategy, goal or objective, but for some reason they are quiet. Yes, fourteen hundred people were killed in Syria with chemical weapons, but was it Assad or the Muslim Brotherhood or someone else? To my knowledge no one has definitively answered that. The other thing that bothers me is  it has happened before and on a much grander scale yet then we didn’t call for immediate action. Is it now about a red line from the President, and somehow by doing this he can save face?

 

Saddam Hussein used chemical weapons on his people in the 90s, and killed over 5,000 men, women, and children in one day! Altogether he killed over 50,000 people with chemical weapons!  It wasn’t until after 911 that we finally decided to do something. The majority of Republicans, and Democrats in Congress agreed to go in and take him out of power. We didn’t get the chemical weapons even when we went into Iraq. There is quite a bit of evidence(him using them to kill people) that the weapons were there even though at the time people were saying we went to Iraq for the oil. Funny thing though we never did take all that oil. One commander that fought with Saddam before the war, and later defected to the other side even wrote a book in which he explained that Saddam shipped the chemical weapons out of the country before we attacked. Many of the weapons were trucked across the border to Syria according to this man. If we had kept a  military presence in Iraq maybe Assad would have thought better about using chemical weapons, but we will never know now.

 

What will we achieve by lobbing missiles into Syria, with no targets in mind? The President said these are to be just warning shots. Will Assad quit using chemical weapons? Probably not, and then what about retaliation against the United States? Don’t forget Iran and Russia have both said we need to stay out. This is a civil war, and China too wants us to remain neutral. Do we want to go into Syria and fight with the rebels to get Assad out of control? Maybe,  if we could be assured that some sort of Democratic government would be installed, but the chances of that are slim to none. The majority of the rebels are extremist Islamic.  Al Qaeda, Hezbollah, and Muslim Brotherhood, makeup the majority of the rebels,  so we would give them access to chemical weapons. Our military support  would have been given to an enemy that has already proven that they will come over here and kill us. The better plan in my opinion is to let them fight it out amongst themselves. This has been our policy so many times before. Africa has been fighting amongst themselves for years to the tune of over 400,000 being killed. Hacking and mutilation by machetes doesn’t seem very humane to me either.  Saudi Arabia,  or some other country in the Middle East should use their military to send a message to Syria not us.

 

Build up and fund our military now. Preparing  against a real strike against Iran, is what should be happening. The President can stop sequestration against the military. It is his choice. Iran  is where our soon to be nuclear enemy is, let’s concentrate on them. We should have several plans of action being put together against Iran already. Here is another bit of advice I would give our Representatives, don’t tell our enemies when, how long, and how little force we are going to use against them. That is like telling a teenager, “I am going to smack your hand, and send you to your room tomorrow for you staying out past your curfew tonight.” Chances are they will make sure they stay out even later the next night, and they almost definitely will do it again knowing there was no real punishment.

 

Please if you haven’t looked into what is going on in Syria for yourself make sure you find out, but hurry. Then if your vote would be No for sending missiles over there, call, email or write your representatives immediately. We still can make a difference, and they really do appreciate our input. Remember they work for us.

Update:  In a texting conversation, Donna also mentioned that this entire debacle over Syria may just be another "wag the dog" ploy by Obama because he doesn't want Americans to notice some executive orders he is signing.  I also added that he may be pushing this Syria strike so that all of the recent scandals are off the news! 

 

Pay attention to the hearings going on!  Read blogs, forums, and commentaries on the subject.  Get educated about this!!

 

No matter what, if you are like-minded and agree that we should not do what Obama STUPIDLY wants to do, then make those in Washington HEAR YOU!

Bolton: America Discredited Until We Get "A Real President"

Many people in my life agreed way back in 2008 that if Obama got into the office of the presidency, it would be an absolute disaster!   However, I recall one person asking me, "Is there anything good that you could say about him?"  I had to think for a bit, but then I said, "He seems to be a good father." 

I used the word "seems" because I don't know much about how he genuinely conducts himself as a father.  All I have to go by is the image he portrays when filmed or photographed with his daughters.  The media of mass deception will always paint a rosy picture of this man no matter what he does.

All the hype that surrounded this man when he was touted as a "smart and intellectual" Constitutional scholar didn't matter to me.  All of his radical leftist ideology certainly trumped any supposition that his supposedly "brilliant IQ" (Was this even ever measured?  After all, he has hidden and sealed his college transcripts!) would make him into an individual that I could ever support to hold the office.  His radical views on abortion are absolutely sickening!

Personally, I think that he is just a puppet whose strings are being pulled by the "powers that be" who have the dual ultimate goals of destroying America and Israel. 

That being said, I want to share a comment attributed to Benjamin Franklin in the "Maturing With Grace" section of a book of wisdom written by Dr. David Jeremiah called "Moments With God on Route 66."

Borrowing those words of wisdom from Benjamin Franklin - I state the obvious to America.   Figuratively speaking, with Obama's first and second election,  we bought a cow (twice!) to ride on.

We are seeing more and more evidence of so-called "intellectual" knowledge in individuals chosen to serve in this current administration who just don't have the wisdom to lead.  Of course, we can start with Obama himself! 

The extreme disaster that I call "ObamaSCARE HELLcare" is now being exposed for all of it's awful faults as each attempt to implement this terrible law fails one right after the other!  The clueless Dems in Congress bought another cow to ride on and egregiously, We The People are suffering because of it!

Journalists are writing about Obama's irrelevancy.

 They are describing the ineptitude of certain appointees who really should NEVER have been given the jobs that they currently occupy!

Notice that I haven't even gone into the depths of evil  and depravity that lurks in and around this BADministration!

Benghazi Bombshell Report Coming Soon

Apparently, there will be a big Benghazi bombshell announcement soon.  According to Walid Shoebat, who has posted a Benghazi Bombshell Report Update at his blog, has also posted a report concerning CNN's Erin Burnett pushing two conspiracy theories.  Shoebat surmises that this may be a possible "out in front" type of report so that the upcoming bombshell information might have less impact?

Tuesday night, President Obama made headlines during his appearance on “The Tonight Show With Jay Leno,” one of his numerous appearances over the years (back in 2009, he was the first sitting president to appear on the show). The President talked with Jay about a myriad of topics such as the NSA (he says that we don’t have a domestic spying program), the threat from Al Qaeda, and Trayvon Martin. However, it was when the discussion turned to infrastructure that the president failed on some fairly basic American geography — and it’s not getting much attention.

 

How did he screw up? A clip from the official transcript of the interview — sent out by the White House* — says it all:
 

LENO:  You mentioned infrastructure.  Why is that a partisan issue?  I live in a town, the bridge is falling apart, it’s not safe.  How does that become Republican or Democrat?  How do you not just fix the bridge?  (Laughter and applause.)

THE PRESIDENT:  I don’t know.  As you know, for the last three years, I’ve said, let’s work together.  Let’s find a financing mechanism and let’s go ahead and fix our bridges, fix our roads, sewer systems, our ports.  [You know], the Panama [Canal] is being widened so that these big supertankers can come in.  Now, that will be finished in 2015.  If we don’t deepen our ports all along the Gulf — places like Charleston, South Carolina, or Savannah, Georgia, or Jacksonville, Florida — if we don’t do that, those ships are going to go someplace else.  And we’ll lose jobs.  Businesses won’t locate here.

The president was talking about deepening our ports along the Gulf, and yet he only referenced cities along the Atlantic Ocean coastline.

According to a Libyan intelligence document, the Muslim Brotherhood, including Egyptian President Morsi, were involved in the September 11, 2012 terrorist attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, where several Americans, including U.S. ambassador to Libya, Chris Stevens, were killed.

On Wednesday, June 26, several Arabic websites, including Veto Gate, quoted the intelligence report, which apparently was first leaked to the Kuwaiti paper, Al Ra’i.  Prepared by Mahmoud Ibrahim Sharif, Director of National Security for Libya, the report is addressed to the nation’s Minister of Interior.

It discusses the preliminary findings of the investigation, specifically concerning an “Egyptian cell” which was involved in the consulate attack. “Based on confessions derived from some of those arrested at the scene” six people, “all of them Egyptians” from the jihad group Ansar al-Sharia (“Supporters of Islamic Law”), were arrested.

According to the report, during interrogations, these Egyptian jihadi cell members “confessed to very serious and important information concerning the financial sources of the group and the planners of the event and the storming and burning of the U.S. consulate in Benghazi…. And among the more prominent figures whose names were mentioned by cell members during confessions were: Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi; preacher Safwat Hegazi; Saudi businessman Mansour Kadasa, owner of the satellite station, Al-Nas; Egyptian Sheikh Muhammad Hassan; former presidential candidate, Hazim Salih Abu Isma’il…”

It should be noted that these findings are unsurprising: the supremacism of prominent Brotherhood figure Safwat Hegazi is such that he publicly declares the Brotherhood “will rule the world“;  Saudi Mansour’s hate-mongering, pro-Brotherhood TV station repeatedly aired footage of the YouTube Muhammad movie inciting violence around the Muslim world; popular Sheikh Muhammad Hassan holds that smiling to non-Muslims is forbidden, except when trying to win them over to Islam;  and Sheikh Hazim Abu Ismail is simply an openly anti-freedom, anti-infidel religious leader.

As for President Morsi, a video made during the consulate attack records people speaking in the Egyptian dialect: as they approach the beleaguered U.S. compound, one of them yells to the besiegers, “Don’t shoot—Dr. Morsi sent us!”

It's amazing to me that no matter how much proof comes out about all of the Obama scandals, the ObamaBorgBot progressives will find some excuse (or blame others) and keep their collective heads in the sand.  Well, we know which end is up when they do that and that must be what Obamafraud not-so-secretly thinks of them...a bunch of a**es for continuing to believe in him.

Steve, I recently recalled that when you spell the word "live" backwards, it read "evil."  Some people just like to do evil and choose not to live the life that God has provided through His abundant grace, mercy, and love through Christ our Lord.  In fact, the evil ones often scoff at Christ and hate Him, as they also hate all Christian believers and Christianity in general.  Why?  Because evil can't stand the Truth.

Obama shows how much he hates America, Jesus Christ, and God's Word; thus, he doesn't want Americans to live "The Way" - which is God's Way for our lives.  Everything he and his BADministration does is against everything that God wants to give to us - living life the right way and living it abundantly.

It has taken a LOOONNGGG time for others to finally see what we have seen over the past 5 years regarding the type of person that Obama really is.  Many are now awakening from the stupor of being ignorant about the truth vs. the lies of Obama.  However, there will always be the "Jennies" at my blog and the liberal nut at your blog who will continue to ignore all of the scandals and how they are hurting our nation, as they continue to be useful idiots attached to Obamafraud.

Here's a perfect example.  Jenny wrote this at my blog:

My reply:

Jenny,

The simple answer is:

Because people are learning the truth (finally). They are seeing right before their very own eyes (and ears) that Obama and Hillary lied, and four Americans died.

Greg Hicks is a 22 year veteran in his field. It has been revealed that he voted for Hillary in the primary in 2008, and then Obama in the elections of 2008 and 2012. But he could not let the lies about Benghazi stand, so he testified before Congress and told his truthful account of what happened. Because he did that, he was demoted (and most likely shunned by those who formerly praised him in his job efforts). The reason he told the truth? Vindication for his friend and co-worker, Christopher Stevens and the 3 others who died trying to save them and others from death on that dreadful day.

You can say what you want about "right-wing" blogs etc. But as the truth comes out - we are all being vindicated - whether you want to acknowledge that or not.

No matter what happens, many conservatives and Christians who have warned America about Obama ARE NOW being vindicated!  It may not be enough to boot Obama out of office, but I think it will keep Hitlery out of the 2016 election.  The Dems will be the party to distrust and thus we may gain some semblance of sanity back in the White House when a conservative leader is elected.

You (Steve) and I both know that this world will never be perfect until the Millennium when Christ will reign for 1,000 years.  Until then, we keep doing our jobs as Christians here in this fallen world to watch, work, and wait for His return!
 
You do good work here at your blog Steve because you alert people to the truth that is being suppressed by those involved in constant deception.  I certainly appreciate you for that!

ABC News Blows the Lid Off the Lies of the Obama BADministration

I'm so glad to see that American Crossroads is firing back with a great ad that hits the bullseye directly at the critics of Fox News (as well as conservative bloggers and others).  All the other cable news and regular news show kept the status quo to protect the Dem criminals involved. ABC and others previously tried to play along with the lies coming out of the ObaMARXIST BADministration and the State Department (Hillary Clinton's lying butt on the line re: presidential run in 2016) over the past 8 months.

Benghazi Whistle Blower Testimony Expose O's BADministration Lies and Cover-Up!

I watched most of the hearing where three Benghazi terrorist attack whistle blowers testified and exposed the lies and cover-up of the Obama BADministration.  The testimony was emotional at times, riveting at other times, and ultimately stunning when we recall all of the lies that were drummed up and told by Hillary, Obama, and other administration officials, as well as the talking heads (including former Amb. Susan Rice, Jay Carney etc.) that supported and continued to spread the Benghazi LIES and false narrative. 

How anyone could possibly think that this BADministration (with all who are directly involved)  deserves to stay in office after exposure of this awful terrorist murder/cover-up just goes to show how far supporters of their criminality continues to grow into a cesspool of bitter and dangerous evil!!

The sinful ability of all those involved in the cover-up to "see no evil, hear no evil, and speak no evil" was obviously used to hide the truth;  and they all deliberately lied about it in order to get Obummer re-elected!  It's all just so absolutely absurd, traitorous, and mind boggling!

I sincerely hope that the investigation goes on and that more whistleblowers and survivors of the Benghazi terrorist attack will come forward and testify against this treasonous Obama regime!

Benghazi Cover-Up Finally Being Exposed [Update]

With all of the lies given out by the ObaMAO BADministration concerning the terrible Benghazi, Libya terrorist attack on 9/11/12, it will be highly interesting to see if the whistle blower testimonies being given tomorrow (5/7/13) will result in Obummer's impeachment.   He should be thrown out of office immediately!  And they should take Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton to jail along with ObaMARXIST!  Since the Speaker of the House is next in line, John Boehner can be sworn in as President until the next election.

As many individuals have stated on Fox News, "the Watergate break in scandal may have caused Richard Nixon to resign, but no one died as a result of it."  In the case of Benghazi-gate, four brave Americans died as a direct result of the inaction and stand-down orders (probably from Obama or his evil advisor - Valerie Jarrett) that were given.  If not for the brave former Navy SEALS, who ignored the orders and went to the aide of those caught in the attack, there may not have been any survivors.  Was that Obama's goal in the first place?  Can't leave anyone alive who could prove the story lines as outright lies!  And, the attempts to silence the survivors was done to prevent the truth from coming out so Obummer could be re-elected.  This is just one more Obama crime piled on top of so many others.  It's truly sickening!

And that brings us back to Benghazi and how it relates to what Ambassador Stevens was doing in Libya. Congress must quickly find out how the Libya policy affects Syria as the ongoing drumbeats for war from Saudi Arabia and the U.S. to topple President Assad beat louder. It was just reported that the Syrian rebels have used sarin gas, not Assad. Congress must find out if the weapons from the Libya MANPADS recovery program ended up in the hands of the Syrian rebels. Have American taxpayers been funding the Syrian rebels for months like they already funded the Egyptian and Libyan rebels or so-called “freedom fighters”? It certainly appears to be the case. Even the New York Times is finally now catching up and reporting how the CIA has been helping Arab governments and Turkey obtain and ship weapons to the Syrian rebels.

Did the Obama administration break international arms law? Does Iran Contra ring a bell? Don’t forget about the humanitarian aid that Hillary sent to Turkey. Has it all gone to aid for the refugees or somewhere else?

Sharing Some Thoughts on a Friday Afternoon

After all that has been said and done during these difficult years of the wannabe dictator, Barack Hussein Obama, it appears that the way his agenda will be defeated is when more and more incidences of him, his handlers, and his cronies end up falling on their own swords of destruction.

It was interesting to see how quickly BHO changed his tune when his poll numbers took a 6 or 7 point dive.  The "new" BHO came out and suddenly decided to have dinners, lunches, and discussions with House and Senate Republicans.  I was glad to here Rep. Paul Ryan state that even though they had a long conversation where he had the first opportunity to talk with BHO for more than two minutes, the discussion of sharing of his opinions and the truth regarding what is needed to balance the budget will only mean something if BHO's actions speak much louder than words.  BHO is notorious for saying things to groups and individuals that they want to hear while his actions end up doing the complete opposite!

Talking heads at Fox News have stated that BHO probably has 12 - 18 months to "get something done" regarding the budget, deficit, debt ceiling, and other huge problems we currently face, but after that he will most likely be a lame duck pResident.

I have to say that our Founding Fathers were absolute geniuses!!  The Constitutional Republic that they set up at the start of our nation; with the three branches of government having equal power, has prevented BHO from becoming a dictator  - and he knows it. 

The gun laws being debated, discussed, argued about, and held for a vote will not pass the House.  Their efforts are just more of the BHO and his ilk's smoke and mirrors campaign - and the public is taking notice of this. 

The Ted Cruz vs. Diane Feinstein exchange was notorious!  DiFi lost her temper and said some REALLY stupid things!  She mentioned a "bazooka."  A bazooka cannot be sold without government approval!  It's already illegal to own a bazooka in America!!   Mark Levin had a great retort to DiFi last night on his radio show as he stated, "that a 'career Senator' presenting the idea that they can fundamentally alter the Bill of Rights is unacceptable to those who know what that means."

Dozens of bloggers have written about this, The Blaze is just one of them.

The Daily Caller article is entitled, "Ted Cruz Offends Dianne Feinstein by Bringing Up The Constitution."

Then, the author simply states, "Democrats hate that."

So true!

Moving on.

This morning, Fox News reported that the BHO BADministration now admits that maybe it wasn't a good idea (YA THINK????) to eliminate interceptor missiles on the West Coast now that North Korea's latest little dictator is threatening to launch a nuclear missile  that could potentially reach Hawaii, Alaska, or the West Coast of America.   Now, the BADministration is busy getting 14 interceptors in place for further protection. 

When President George W. Bush had such interceptors put in place in 2002, the left erroneously believed that they wouldn't be necessary.  Well, now they have to eat their dumb words and admit their stupidity about the efforts of BHO and his ilk to eliminate any of them!

Moving on once again.

We are learning that the injured survivors of the Benghazi attack in Libya on 9/11/12 are NOT being allowed to be interviewed!!  Why not??  What's the problem?  The father of one of the survivors discovered that his son was in the hospital under a different name!!  It looks like a subpoena from Congress will be needed to get to interview them!  After six months, it is about time the American people get the truth about that horrible attack and the subsequent cover-up.

Lastly, I must mention Nancy PeLIARsi has perhaps surpassed BHO in the obvious liar category.  She is quoted as saying that "Obama doesn't do anything for political reasons."

Ha ha ha ha haaaaaaa!  That would be SO FUNNY if it wasn't so seriously an outright LIE.  Isn't it scary to know that this woman was formerly speaker of the House and two steps away from the presidency?  It chilled me to the bone knowing this.

I have accused BHO, PeLIARsi, and Harry ReiDUNCE of being perpetual liars on this blog.  Those who apparently believe in the "politically correct" mantra of not saying anything negative or bad about such government officials (except if one is speaking about George W. Bush or any Republican or Conservative) hold to the ignorant premise that these people deserve respect - no matter what.  In fact, I had a former friend "unfriend" me years ago when I was still on Face Book because she thought what I was writing on my blog (which came up on her feed on Face Book) was "offensive" to her friends.  Well, after enduring 4 plus years of BHO, I wonder if she still feels that way?  But I digress.

I think that when a person is caught outright LYING - they should be reported, exposed, criticized, and condemned for doing it.  Why should they get a pass?

In the case of DiFi (story above), is her belief that her "position" and "years of being a Senator" should exempt her from answering difficult questions and being challenged a fair one?  What is the Senate?  An Ivory Tower where people are coddled even when they are wrong about an issue and need to be exposed? 

I could just imagine the liberal media of mass deception calling for Ted Cruz to apologize to Dianne Feinstein.  However, The Blaze article (link above) claims that DiFi ended up apologizing to Cruz.  Wow!!  Hang out the flag!!

It appears to me that the Ivory Tower of political protection for Obama and his ilk is beginning to collapse.  There are books out (one written by a former White House insider) and hundreds of websites that are showing the true colors of this BADministration and how many lies and crimes are now being exposed despite the media of mass corruption's continued non-reporting and swooning over BHO. 

We The People who have been diligent in exposing BHO and his ilk have known the truth for a very long time.  It is time for the rest of the public to wake up and see what is really going on behind the facade that the media has put up on our T.V. screens.

There has been no need to forego the services of the White House calligrapher, who is paid $96,725 per year.

A leaked email confirms that the Obama Regime has been deliberately attempting to inflict misery that it can blame on the sequester:

In the internal email, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service official Charles Brown said he asked if he could try to spread out the sequester cuts in his region to minimize the impact, and he said he was told not to do anything that would lessen the dire impacts Congress had been warned of.

“We have gone on record with a notification to Congress and whoever else that ‘APHIS would eliminate assistance to producers in 24 states in managing wildlife damage to the aquaculture industry, unless they provide funding to cover the costs.’ So it is our opinion that however you manage that reduction, you need to make sure you are not contradicting what we said the impact would be,” Mr. Brown, in the internal email, said his superiors told him.

If the Regime would inflict damage on wildlife and “aquaculture” to advance the Sequester as Armageddon campaign, imagine what it would do to you.

If you missed President Obama’s State of the Union address last night, you didn’t miss much – especially if you watched any of his past four State of the Union addresses.

We heard the same recycled rhetoric, and we heard his Orwellian declaration that the cornucopia of new federal programs he proposed, as well as his intention to eradicate world poverty, wouldn’t “increase our deficit by a single dime.”

Of course, he glossed over the inconvenient facts. He boasted about job creation, but didn’t mention that real unemployment is higher today than when he took office. He touted all those still undiscovered “clean energy” jobs without mentioning the tens of thousands of real jobs the Keystone Pipeline will create if he would simply allow it to be built. He sang of new energy development, but didn’t mention that new offshore leases for oil and natural gas drilling have declined a decimating 61% under his administration.

He talked about “helping” to build “a thriving middle class,” but didn’t address how the middle class is actually faring under his economic stewardship. This is important – his deception must be addressed: under his leadership, middle class families have seen the average price per gallon of gas increase 96%, the average cost of family health care premiums rise 24%, the annual cost per household from federal regulations rise to over $15,000, and real median household income decline $4,520. If this is what happens when he “helps” the middle class, then please, Mr. President, we implore you to stop “helping” us.

He talked about a “balanced approach to deficit reduction” without mentioning that $5.9 trillion has already been added to the debt since he took office. We’re $16.5 trillion in debt and he keeps digging the hole deeper! He didn’t mention his record trillion dollar deficits or the fact that his last proposed budget would add $9.2 trillion to the debt through 2022. His Democrat-controlled Senate hasn’t passed a budget in four years. That’s obviously not “responsible” or “balanced.” He said, “We can’t cut our way to prosperity.” Well, we definitely can’t get there by borrowing and spending money we don’t have on his “investments” that don’t work. If indiscriminately borrowing and spending money led to prosperity, then bankruptcy would be a sign of economic strength. But it isn’t.

A State of the Union address should give us a true picture of the direction in which we are headed. But we didn’t get the truth last night. And it WAS Orwellian.

What is the true state of our union? Though this may sound harsh, I’ll speak the truth here. We are a country going bankrupt to fund a bloated, distant, and often corrupt federal government led by venal politicians more concerned with paying off their campaign cronies and consolidating their own power than in preserving the constitutional republic that so many have fought and died for (including our brave men and women in uniform who were barely mentioned last night).

We are a country with an economy being stifled under the weight of a bankrupt and voracious federal machine demanding more taxes and burdensome regulations. Job creators are the ones stuck with the bill when Obama calls for “new revenue.” Their businesses bear the brunt of the nearly 87 million paperwork hours imposed by federal regulations in 2012 – annually costing them $1.75 trillion. And I haven’t even mentioned Obamacare yet, which looms like the dark cloud it is over our private sector. Is it any wonder why our economy is stagnant or why job growth is so anemic? President Obama’s “solution” to these problems is to make the federal government more intrusive, bankrupt, and controlling.

If we continue down the path Barack Obama has us on, the long-term forecast of the state of our union is not a pretty picture. Yet he merrily rolls along it, deceiving too many Americans into thinking that these are intelligent, economic, and ethical proposals.

Our President wasn’t candid with Americans about our forecast, but, interestingly, in a Q&A session last week, Paul Krugman, one of President Obama’s economic cheerleaders at the New York Times, was remarkably candid about where we’re headed.

When asked about our federal debt, he admitted that “eventually we do have a problem” especially because “the population is getting older” and “health care costs are rising.” So, what does he see as the solution to pay for all this? He admits that your taxes will rise. And worse:

“Surely in the end it will require some middle class taxes as well. We won’t be able to pay for the kind of government the society will want without some increase in taxes, not a huge one, but some increase in taxes on the middle class, maybe a value added tax. And we’re also going to have to make decisions about health care – not pay for health care that has no demonstrated medical benefits. So, the snarky version I use, which I shouldn’t even say because it gets me in trouble, is death panels and sales taxes is how we do this.” (But wait, I thought there’d be no such thing as “death panels,” liberal liars?)

Mr. Krugman tried to portray this brave new world in the gentlest possible light, but it’s going to take quite a lot of “sales taxes” to meet the payments on the ever-increasing multi-trillion dollar debt we’re burying our kids and grandkids under. And with health care costs rising under Obamacare, obviously a lot of care will be rationed and even flat out denied by panels of faceless bureaucrats making life and death decisions for you and your loved ones. This is the long-term forecast for the state of America under Obama’s failed policies: middle class taxes and death panels.

Does that sound good to you? It doesn’t to me. So, we better get motivated to do something about it. We’d better get out of our post-election funk and wake up to the radicals’ reality being created as America gets “fundamentally transformed.”

Here’s the good news: President Obama is in many ways a lame duck president. None of his ridiculous ideas will come to pass via the legislative process. Of course, he may try to force them down America’s throat by imposing them through other means. But they can be undone if the right people are in position to undo them. He is very bold right now – some would say cocky – because of his November win, but there is another election around the corner, and we can check his boldness at the ballot box by electing constitutional conservatives. We must continue to affirm the fact that growing our bankrupt federal government is NOT the solution. Most of what the federal government does could be handled better on the individual, local, and state levels.

Our country didn’t weather a Revolution, two World Wars, a Civil War, a Great Depression, and countless other political and economic storms, just to be sunk by the dangerous policies of this current administration. We’re stronger than this. As President Reagan said, “I do not believe in a fate that will fall on us no matter what we do. I do believe in a fate that will fall on us if we do nothing.”

So, do something. 2014 is just around the corner. Get motivated! Get organized. America, don’t retreat. In the words of yet another White House program, “Let’s move.”
