Criticism of Rand Paul From The "Old Guard."

I have to admit, I was really bothered by the criticism of Rand Paul that came from the "old guard" Republicans - John McCain and Lindsey Graham - after Paul's legitimate 12 hour, 50 min. filibuster on Wednesday. 

When I state that they are from the "old guard," I mean it in more ways than one.  Both of these men are physically old (McCain, more than Graham), but what's worse is that they have been in the Senate forever!

 I really think that there should be term limits. 

The Senators who have been in office for decades (including Diane Feinstein and her stupid feigned "gun" control bills that are really people control bills!!!) need to be booted out and new blood brought in.

So many of them are out of touch with the American public!!! 

The "old school" Republicans seem to think that in order to win, they need to be more like the progressive (a.k.a. regressive socialist) Democrats.  But, by imitating Dems,  all that they accomplish is the results of more dependency on government!  Look at what only four dreadful years under ObaMarxist has done to get more of the electorate desperate enough to depend on government handouts!  It was the "perfect storm" in politics. 

Mr. Zero Jobs gives hand-outs instead of encouraging a hand UP via genuine job growth in the private sector!!  Everything this pResident has done has minimized economic growth and job creation.  From the nefarious deeds of the terrible ObamaSCARE bill (which we are finding out is causing health insurance premiums to skyrocket more anyone ever thought it would!!) to the current mindset to "inflict as much pain as possible" upon the public just so Obambi can lie again and claim that the sequester cuts hurt the people.  He's the one who is PURPOSELY HURTING THE AMERICAN PEOPLE just to try and score political points for the next election!  He wants Dems to take back the House in 2014 so that he can push through more of his Commie/Islamo-fascist/gay marriage/abortion/gun [people] control crap so he can further damage this nation.

That's disgusting, dishonorable, and dirty politics.  But it is the type of politics that Obummer and his evil handlers and dumbed-down followers only know how to do.  The community-organizer-in-chief and his bullying Chicago politics are in full operation now.  No more elections for Obamafraud.  But he and his ilk will continue to do all they can to demonize the opposition, get their way, and they don't even care how many Americans they will hurt doing so!!

It's really a damn shame that McCain and Graham are helping him do it, too.  And it wasn't enough for them to say it once.  They had to go on several news shows and repeat their propaganda!

I heard that several Democrats who actually agreed with Rand Paul's concerns wimped out and didn't stand with him on the floor of the House.  The ObaMarxist regime gestapo probably threatened them if they did!!

McCain and Graham are, as Steve so humorously (and at the same time, seriously!!) pointed out in the photos at his blog, on the wrong side of history on this one.  It was very disappointing to see them criticize Paul.  It shows their contempt for the TEA Party Patriots.  They probably secretly hate the likes of Ted Cruz, Mike Lee and others who were elected by We The People precisely because the "old guard" isn't getting the work done on Capital Hill!

I think that if this keeps up we are (unfortunately)  going to see a repeat of the election of 2012 in 2016.  The "old guard" Republicans forcing their milk toast candidate into the nomination while We The People are still screaming for the Constitutional Conservative in the primary!

When McCain claimed (on Shep Smith's Fox News Report) that he is "of the party of Reagan," I wanted to throw my hot dog lunch at the TV!!  Reagan was INCLUSIVE - not divisive like McCain and Graham are towards other Republicans.  I think that they have been brain-dirtied by our current Zero Jobs pResident who continues to utilize his Saul Alinsky/Cloward and Piven tactics of orchestrated crisis!

Keep it up, you old fogies and it will be YOUR FAULT that America's spiral down into the pit of  destruction and despair by the PROGRESSIVES = SOCIALISTS = COMMUNISTS = LEFT-WING RADICALS = ANTI-CAPITALISTS = UNAMERICAN in office now will continue their evil right into the next election!

America???  PLEASE WAKE UP AND SMELL THE TYRANNY!!!

Ha ha ha haaaa!!!  They literally drank the Obamafraud liquored up Kool-Aid before voting for the Zero-in-Chief!

Certainly took them long enough to realize their mistake...didn't it???

Oh well...it was fun to dream about Obama's embarrassment while it lasted!!  Even satire can have some semblance of the truth in it!

Stand With Rand!

I watched a lot of Rand Paul's Senate filibuster yesterday and thought that it was about time SOMEONE did SOMETHING to defend our Constitutional rights!  Even though only 14 Republicans joined in the discussion and one Democrat, the fact that Senator Paul got the nation's attention on an important matter was really awesome!

I thought it ironic that Obama decided to invite several Senators out to dinner on that same evening.  Not sure if it was already planned before Rand's filibuster, or if it was a "spur of the moment" decision.  If I recall correctly, one or two of the invited Senators also participated in Paul's filibuster.  But how disappointing it was to see some of the "old guard" Republicans (like Lindsey Graham and John McCain) criticize Paul; claiming that Rand did not have a legitimate complaint!  It just shows how much contempt they must have towards those who agree with the TEA Party Patriots.

Another ironic development was the fact that the ACLU and Code Pink had the same concerns as TEA Party activist turned Senator - Rand Paul!  This shows that it was actually a concern of millions of AMERICAN people!  Individuals and groups on both the right and the left of the political spectrum (at least those who were paying close attention to this issue) found themselves in agreement with Paul's concerns!

A good friend of mine - Donna - sent me a text this morning:

"Chris, Rand Paul and Cruz are my new heroes.  I have been praying for Rand.  I have never seen a filibuster in action."

I wrote back:

"It was great!!  Forced an answer from the WH (White House)!  I watched a lot of it (on the computer) and was so proud of those who had the courage to stand up and talk with Paul!"

Rand Paul filibustered for almost 13 hours!!  That is how important his unanswered question of whether drone strikes against individual Americans on American soil was Constitutional or not!

While watching Megyn Kelly of the Fox News Channel interview Rand on her show this morning, she shared a brief letter from Eric Holder that answered Paul's question and concerns about possible unconstitutional drone strikes on average Americans on American soil!

Judge Napolitano Blasts White House Orders To Assassinate U.S. Citizens

Judge Andrew Napolitano absolutely nails it in his latest column over at WND regarding the BHO BADministration's tyrannical and unconstitutional "memo" giving themselves the right to assassinate U.S. Citizens when they are deemed as "an enemy and/or terrorist" - just because they say so.

President Obama’s policy of targeting enemies, including Americans, for death through drone strikes is the latest and most alarming example of the endless expansion of government power, according to Judge Andrew Napolitano.

Napolitano is the senior judicial analyst for the Fox News Channel and is the author most recently of “Theodore and Woodrow” and “The Freedom Answer Book.” He says the growth in government power is nothing new, and the erosion of individual freedoms is always pitched in pleasant ways.
“Monster government almost always comes with a smiling face,” he said. “After it’s here, the face loses its smile and it saps our liberties and our prosperity.”

Read Andrew Napolitano’s hot new column, “Obama gives himself permission to kill,” in which he asks: When will president’s drone murders come home to our shores?

Napolitano said there is no implosion of rights as troubling as what we’re seeing this week as the Obama administration defends the targeting and killing of enemies, including American citizens, without giving them the right to due process.

“I’ve often commented that my job here at Fox is to monitor the government as it steals your liberty and steals your property, but I never thought I’d be monitoring the government stealing your life,” he said. “Essentially, that’s what this is.”

The administration’s legal justification for the drone program was laid out in a Department of Justice “white paper” that made its way to NBC News on Sunday night. The paper, which is a distillation of countless other reports, clearly lays out what the Obama administration considers justification for the program of targeted kills.

“It basically says that the president of the United States can authorize an ‘informed, high-level official of the U.S. government’ to strip the constitutional protections of an American in a foreign country if the informed official is satisfied that the American is an imminent danger to American national security and his capture or arrest would be impractical,” Napolitano said. “That is basically the power claimed by kings and tyrants. I can suspend the law to get you if you are a danger.”
There are defenders of the Obama drone policy on both sides of the aisle, but Napolitano said their arguments fly in the face of the principles on which America was founded.

“Would we live in a safer society if the government could cut down every law and abrogate every freedom and break down every door and arrest everybody it wanted?,” asked Napolitano. “We’d be safe from the bad guys, but we wouldn’t be safe from the government. Who would want to live in such a society?”

The judge said it’s very easy to read the administration’s legal defense for the drone program and see how it could be used to target any American.

“The language in this 16-page document could easily apply to Americans in America,” said Napolitano. “So the president could decide that Bill O’Reilly or Glenn Beck or Judge Napolitano are just too troublesome, too meddlesome, too much of an obstacle to the accomplishment of his purposes, and it’s time to take them out.

“The core of the argument is ‘trust us.’ That’s an argument that the Supreme Court rejected because it doesn’t trust a single individual to kill,” he said, noting the Constitution gives Congress the authority to declare war and a 12-person jury the power to sentence someone to death.

As outlined in “Theodore and Woodrow,” Napolitano said Presidents Theodore Roosevelt and Woodrow Wilson are largely responsible for changing America from a nation championing limited government to one saddled with a government growing beyond anyone’s ability to control it.

“(They) shared the same view and that was this: the Constitution is not the supreme law of the land. It does not limit the government to the powers that have been delegated to it. Rather it unleashes the government to do whatever it wants except that which is expressly prohibited in the document,” said Napolitano. “Now that is not just an academic argument because that is turning the concept of limited government on its head.

So...I wonder what the useful idiots who voted for Barack Hussein Obama think of their decision now???

BHO Drone Policy: "Very Dangerous Stuff...Nowhere Justifiable Under Federal Law"

Two topics today because I could not make a choice between them.

#1.  The BHO BADministration's leaked memo about the drone strikes on Americans. 

Fox News Channel has been all over this issue and rightly so!  This is an AWFUL violation of the U.S. Constitution and the rights of our citizens that are in the Declaration of Independence!!

What HUGE hypocrites BHO and his ilk are to have criticized former President George W. Bush for "enhanced interrogation techniques" against TERRORISTS; while supporting unmanned drone strikes on Americans who are "thought" (mind you, not arrested and tried before a jury of peers in a court of law) to be so-called "terrorists" (Now...who are they?  Opponents of the BADministration?  TEA Party Patriots?  Gun owners who hold to the Second Amendment rights? Conservatives expressing their First Amendment free speech rights and freedom of association and religion rights?)

If you are not ABSOLUTELY OUTRAGED by this, then you are not paying attention!
