Obama Kool-Aid Paralyzes From the Neck Up

Ideologically speaking, that is. I try not to make a habit of copying and pasting from the same blog two days in a row (except for The Obama File because the info is ALWAYS real good!), but in this case, the author of Daily Thought Pad has asked bloggers to redistribute the information "to all who will listen to an intelligent assessment of the big picture." So, like the diligent blogger that I try to be, I will take her advice and re-post her essay here:

A Profound Evening With Dr. Charles Krauthammer

(Dr. Charles Krauthammer, Thomas Sowell and Ben Stein are considered 3 of the top thinkers of our time, by many)

It's better to be paralyzed from the neck down, than to be paralyzed from the neck up....

Dr. Krauthammer is on Fox News. He is an M.D. and a lawyer and is paralyzed from the neck down. A friend went to hear Charles Krauthammer. He listened with 25 others in a closed room. What he says here, is NOT 2nd-hand but 1st. The ramifications are staggering for us, our children and their children.

Last Monday was a profound evening, Dr. Charles Krauthammer spoke to the Center for the American Experiment. He is a brilliant intellectual, seasoned & articulate. He is forthright and careful in his analysis, and never resorts to emotions or personal insults.

He is NOT a fear monger nor an extremist in his comments and views. He is a Fiscal conservative, and has received a Pulitzer Prize for writing. He is a frequent contributor to Fox News and writes weekly for the Washington Post. The entire room was held spellbound during his talk. I have summarized his comments, as we are living in uncharted waters economically and internationally. Even 2 Dems at my table agreed with everything he said! If you feel like forwarding this to those who are open minded and have not drunk the Kool-Aid, feel free.

Summary of his comments:

1. Mr. Obama is a very intellectual, charming individual. He is not to be underestimated. He is a cool customer who doesn't show his emotions. It's very hard to know what's behind the mask. The taking down of the Clinton dynasty was an amazing accomplishment. The Clintons still do not understand what hit them. Obama was in the perfect place at the perfect time.

2. Obama has political skills comparable to Reagan and Clinton. He has a way of making you think he's on your side, agreeing with your position, while doing the opposite. Pay no attention to what he SAYS; rather, watch what he DOES!

3. Obama has a ruthless quest for power. He did not come to Washington to make something out of himself, but rather to change everything, including dismantling capitalism. He can't be straightforward on his ambitions, as the public would not go along. He has a heavy hand, and wants to level the playing field with income redistribution and punishment to the achievers of society. He would like to model the USA to Great Britain or Canada .

4. His three main goals are to control ENERGY, PUBLIC EDUCATION, and NATIONAL HEALTH CARE by the Federal government. He doesn't care about the auto or financial services industries, but got them as an early bonus. The Cap and Trade will add costs to everything and stifle growth. Paying for FREE college education is his goal. Most scary is his health care program, because if you make it FREE and add 46,000,000 people to a Medicare-type single-payer system, the costs will go through the roof. The only way to control costs is with massive RATIONING of services, like in Canada . God forbid!

5. He has surrounded himself with mostly far-left academic types. No one around him has ever even run a candy store. But they are going to try and run the auto, financial, banking and other industries. This obviously can't work in the long run. Obama is not a socialist; rather he's a far-left secular progressive bent on nothing short of revolution. He ran as a moderate, but will govern from the hard left. Again, watch what he does, not what he says.

6. Obama doesn't really see himself as President of the United States, but more as a ruler over the world. He sees himself above it all, trying to orchestrate & coordinate various countries and their agendas. He sees moral equivalency in all cultures. His apology tour in Germany and England was a prime example of how he sees America, as an imperialist nation that has been arrogant, rather than a great noble nation that has at times made errors. This is the first President ever who has chastised our allies and appeased our enemies!

7. He is now handing out goodies. He hopes that the bill (and pain) will not come due until after he is reelected in 2012. He would like to blame all problems on Bush from the past, and hopefully his successor in the future. He has a huge ego, and Dr. Krauthammer believes he is a narcissist.

8. Republicans are in the wilderness for a while, but will emerge strong. Republicans are pining for another Reagan, but there will never be another like him. Krauthammer believes Mitt Romney, Tim Pawlenty & Bobby Jindal (except for his terrible speech in February) are the future of the party. Newt Gingrich is brilliant, but has baggage. Sarah Palin is sincere and intelligent, but needs to really be seriously boning up on facts and info if she is to be a serious candidate in the future.. We need to return to the party of lower taxes, smaller government, personal responsibility, strong national defense, and state's rights.

9. The current level of spending is irresponsible and outrageous. We are spending trillions that we don't have. This could lead to hyperinflation, depression or worse. No country has ever spent themselves into prosperity. The media is giving Obama, Reid and Pelosi a pass because they love their agenda. But eventually the bill will come due and people will realize the huge bailouts didn't work, nor will the stimulus package. These were trillion-dollar payoffs to Obama's allies, unions and the Congress to placate the left, so he can get support for #4 above.

10. The election was over in mid-September when Lehman brothers failed, fear and panic swept in, we had an unpopular President, and the war was grinding on indefinitely without a clear outcome. The people are in pain, and the mantra of change caused people to act emotionally. Any Dem would have won this election; it was surprising it was as close as it was.

11. In 2012, if the unemployment rate is over 10%, Republicans will be swept back into power. If it's under 8%, the Dems continue to roll. If it's between 8-10%, it will be a dogfight. It will all be about the economy. I hope this gets you really thinking about what's happening in Washington and Congress. There is a left-wing revolution going on, according to Krauthammer, and he encourages us to keep the faith and join the loyal resistance. The work will be hard, but we're right on most issues and can reclaim our country, before it's far too late.

Do yourself a long term favor, send this to all who will listen to an intelligent assessment of the big picture. All our futures and children's futures depend on our good understanding of what is really going on in DC, and our action pursuant to that understanding!! It really IS up to each of us to take individual action!! Start with educating your friends and neighbors!!!

Logic & Math = Obama Admin. Failure

Glenn Beck often has the unique ability to see through the farce of Obama, his Administration cult and minions. He had the best analysis and exposure of what is really going on with the Obamafraud Administration that I have ever seen on his T.V. show today. In case you missed it, Daily Thought Pad has "Beck's Response to O's State of the Union and Bernanke's Reappointment" Videos .

Excerpt:

Video 1 of 6 – Which Obama Showed up for the State of the Union? The one who thinks the American People are stupid, believes the spin cures all and the one intends to move forward with his agenda regardless of the wants and needs of the people.
And, is partisan bickering really one of our biggest problems?

Video 2 of 6 – Logic and Math will ultimately kill the Obama Administration.
Obama’s speech let us know that neither he, the Progressives, Pelosi or Reid heard the second shot heard by everyone else around the world from Massachusetts.

Much more here.

Loved the "Little Johnny" laugh posted at the end, too!

Rush's Letter to Obama

I heard Rush Limbaugh share the following Letter to Obama on his radio show today. It's AWESOME! Gateway Pundit has the transcript up and I have copied and pasted it here.

Here’s the transcript from Rush’s website:

I penned a message to Obama that I would like to deliver now. Because Mr. Obama, I think it’s time we had a heart to heart talk. Let me be the father that you never had or never really knew, because I think you need some guidance. It’s time to man up. It’s time to grow up. That speech last night was an embarrassment. You couldn’t focus, you lashed out in all directions, you refused to accept responsibility for your own actions, and you were angry.

And he was, folks! He was mad. Being president is a big job. It’s a big responsibility. You wanted the position, Barack. You campaigned for it. You told the public to trust you with it, and they elected you — and you’re now president of the greatest country mankind has ever known, and yet you act like this was all coming to you, like you deserve it, that you’re better than the people you are supposed to serve and that you have no tolerance for debate or dissent. That’s not the way it works as president, Barack. We have a Constitution, we have checks and balances, we have separation of powers, we have states — and most of all, we have the people. You don’t get to impose your programs and policies on the nation and the people without our consent.

This is a representative republic, not a banana republic, and let me remind you: Karl Marx and Saul Alinsky are not our Founding Fathers. This is a nation built on individuality, built on liberty, free markets, and faith. Yet you, Barack, demand fidelity to a different belief system: A system that crushes individual initiative and free will. The president does not berate Supreme Court justices who are guests of the Congress and who have no ability to respond to your attacks. You’ve made such a mess of things, Barack, and it’s time to stop deluding yourself. It’s time to stop blaming others. You are delusional. You are delirious. It’s time for you to assume the responsibilities of a president rather than pretending to be one.

You’ve driven the nation’s debt over the edge. It is your responsibility to fix it now. Otherwise, our young people will have no future. You were wrong to grant terrorists constitutional rights. Even the libs in New York don’t want the trial there now! You, Mr. President, are endangering the security of this nation. Now fix it! Reverse course, and send the terrorists — all of them — back to Guantanamo Bay, where they belong. You are wrong to nationalize one industry after another from automobiles to banks. You are destroying competition and jobs. You need to stop what you were doing before million of more families go broke from your misguided policies. It’s not too late to stop this. I know you’re not going to stop it because last night you said you don’t quit, and I know what you mean.

You’re gonna keep plugging for the same agenda, which is going to destroy this country even more — which makes me think, Barack, that’s your objective. You know, Barack, unlike most presidents you’re dealing with a Congress that has super majorities in both houses, fellow Democrats. It amazes me that with all the talk about your ability to persuade and communicate, that you can’t even hold your own party members together anymore. Is that Bush’s fault, too? Is it [the] fault of the banks and the insurance companies and the lobbyists that you can’t keep your own Democrat Party unified — or is it a problem with your leadership, Barack, or lack of leadership? It’s the latter, Mr. President. I’ll tell you, you are not a leader. You are an agitator and an organizer, and a process guy, but you are not a leader. It is you who are doing something wrong.

The people in Virginia don’t like it. The people in New Jersey don’t like it. The people in Massachusetts don’t like it. The people in Massachusetts and all over the country have the ability to inform themselves outside of your sycophant press corps, and they are doing so. Members of your own governing majority don’t like what you are doing. I mean, this calls for some self-reflection and some circumspection. Has it occurred to you, Mr. President, even once that you’re not as cool as you think you are? Has it occurred to you that you are screwing up? And if it has, are you happy about that? Has it occurred to you that you have a great deal to learn and that you need to take your own measure, or are you Mr. Perfect? Are you God-sent?

Are you The One that you’ve been waiting for? See, I have a little concern there may be a psychological issue at play here. I don’t say this to demean you, Barack. I say it because I’m concerned. I mean, Tom Daschle was always “concerned” and I like the word. I’m concerned. You seem to have a whole lot of enemies, at least in your own mind. A partial list would include Fox News, insurance companies, banks, oil companies, the “special interests,” the Supreme Court, Republicans, talk show hosts, executives, anyone or any business that earns over $250,000 a year, mortgage companies, credit card companies — and the list goes on and on and on. You have the longest enemies list of anybody I’ve ever known.

These people are not your enemies, though, Barack. They are Americans. They are part of this country. They are part of what makes the nation work. You are not. You have nothing to do, and have had nothing to do, with this nation’s greatness. You can’t lay claim to greatness on any scale, not even rhetorical. But you have no direct relationship to the greatness of this country. You are damaging the possibility of further greatness. Nevertheless, like a bully, you continue to threaten all of these people. The Supreme Court, Big Oil, Big Pharmaceutical, Big Retail, talk show hosts, Fox News, the list goes on. You threaten anybody who does not agree with you. You try to intimidate them. You smear them. Your sycophantic media goes right along and carries your water. But this is not what presidents do…

Obama's Speech in a Word? Lecture.

Instead of watching (or recording) the State of the Union (SOTU) address last night, I went out to dinner with a friend! By the time we finished our meals and completing catching up on what has been going on in each other's lives, the SOTU address was over. Thank God! However, during my ride home from the restaurant, I tuned into the Fox News Channel on XM radio. Hannity's show was on and I got to hear some of what his panel was discussing about the speech.

Bob Beckel, the token and ever present Democrat on Sean's show continued to support Obama's failed policies, blame the Bush administration, and claim that now that the Dem's no longer have a filibuster-proof senate, the Republicans will have to do something.

Earth to Beckel??

They TRIED to get into the conversation about Health Care but were locked out of EVERY discussion; especially the secret negotiations that the Dems conducted for their unconstitutional and illegal "sweetheart" bribery deals.

Sarah Palin was asked to describe the speech in one word. She said, "lecture." Obama was lecturing the people in his speech. Typical...

Since I haven't heard or read the speech yet, I will share what a writer named Andrea Tantaros at Fox News Channel's website wrote. Apparently, she agrees with Palin's assessment:

Defiant, Delusional Obama at the State of the Union

Here's a copy of her article:

Politically speaking, Obama needed to win back the independents and swing voters the Democrats are hemorrhaging. The speech didn't do that.

Campaign 2012 started officially last night but it sounded more like a throwback to 2008.

We heard the same lines (“a new era has begun” and a similar tone (Washington is bad) that we heard two years ago

One problem: Obama has been in Washington for a while now. You can’t credibly paint yourself as an outsider when you err, um, live at the city’s most famous and iconic address.

He started with a lecture on history, and ended by cementing his own: defiance, and delusion – personified.

Rather than tack to the middle, Obama remained firmly planted in leftist ground and chained to his unpopular agenda.

On the night when he was supposed to be celebrating a health care victory, President Obama was still trying to force feed a bill that is unsalvageable and driving his party off a cliff, while simultaneously dividing it.

Not only did he accept zero responsibility for his own shortcomings, he took James Carville’s advice and foolishly - and repeatedly -- blamed George Bush! That just made him look incompetent and unable to figure out things on his own.

Politically speaking, Obama needed to win back the independents and swing voters the Democrats are hemorrhaging. The speech didn't do that.

Perhaps he figured that the speech wouldn’t matter all that much in the grand scheme of things. Not everyone was watching, so why not stay the course?

Simply stated: why right the ship of state now? How about just trimming the sails ever so slightly?

In 2008, Barack Obama cast himself as the All-Things-to-all-People-President. He was a man who offered nothing new and someone who appeared, bizarrely, even more detached from reality than usual. Saying that he was “confident” and “hopeful” might have been seen as a positive, but it didn't capture the mood of the nation and certainly doesn't explain – now that it’s January 2010 -- why it took him 12 months to focus on jobs and the economy.

Obama draped himself in his failures and his vulnerabilities last night and wore them as a badge of honor. Refusing to back down and adhere to the wishes of the electorate, he exuded the kind of stubbornness last seen in the man with whom he shoulders blame: George W. Bush.

Our commander in chief told Diane Sawyer this week, “I'd rather be a really good one-term president than a mediocre two-term president," but he didn’t say for whom he’d like to be that kind of president. Last night the answer became clear: himself.

Andrea Tantaros is a conservative commentator and FoxNews.com contributor. Follow her on Twitter: @andreatantaros.

During a Fox News interview with Andy Card, Mr. Card stated the obvious. A "really good president" is not determined by the sitting president himself, such an opinion is determined by historians after the person leaves office.

Obama's glaringly obvious mistake in the Sawyer interview was that he continues with his "it's all about me" narcissistic attitude. Ho hum....SO BORING!! And immature! The guy seems incapable of breaking out of campaign mode in order to lead this country!!

Is anyone surprised?

Perhaps the Kool-Aid drinkers who fell for his "hope and change" mantra (which turned out to be more like hype and chains rhetoric) during the 2008 campaign aren't surprised. They continue to be under the Obama spell and delusional "messiah" stupor that they fell hook, line and sinker for during the TOTUS (teleprompter) campaign.

Conservatives were not fooled. Not for one minute! We were the ones who were screaming at the top of our lungs how awful a choice for POTUS he would be. Now, Independents and Moderates have been awakened to that fact. The combination of inexperience, radical Marxism (don't fall for the perceived kinder, gentler, "progressive" title that they try to hide their Marxist ideas with), sympathy for radical Islamic-Fascist terrorists, terrible policies and awful executive orders; plus the fact that he has never had a REAL business to conduct where he had experience in creating jobs for others, and NO EXPERIENCE at governing people are just a few of the mountain of reasons why this guy was not, and is not fit to be POTUS.

I will now go over to WorldNetDaily and read the speech, grateful that I won't have to hear Obama's annoying and condescendingly lecturing voice. Next, I will read or view the video of the Republican rebuttal. I heard it was excellent!

Be back soon...

Argghhh!!! I can't get through the speech! I started to read it and got to the part where Obama says:

Because of the steps we took, there are about two million Americans working right now who would otherwise be unemployed. 200,000 work in construction and clean energy. 300,000 are teachers and other education workers. Tens of thousands are cops, firefighters, correctional officers, and first responders. And we are on track to add another one and a half million jobs to this total by the end of the year.

The plan that has made all of this possible, from the tax cuts to the jobs, is the Recovery Act. That's right – the Recovery Act, also known as the Stimulus Bill. Economists on the left and the right say that this bill has helped saved jobs and avert disaster. But you don't have to take their word for it.

What a LIAR!!!

The truth (from The Obama File):

0 -- Lessons learned from the failure of Porkulus. Yesterday, we
found out the $787 billion dollar plan actually cost $862 billion. It
failed miserably on its promise to keep unemployment below 8 percent. Now, Obama wants a new "jobs plan".

And this:

Obama Takes Credit For Success In Iraq

Move America Forward, the nation’s largest grassroots pro-troop organization took offense last night as Barack Obama tried to take credit for the success of the Iraq War when he was a bitter opponent of the successful troop surge implemented by President George W. Bush. Obama proclaimed "I promised I would end this war, and that is what I am doing as President."

Shawn Callahan, Executive Director of Move America Forward, said "Without the surge America would have left Iraq with the war lost to the insurgents. If Obama had been in charge of the Iraq war, it would have been lost along with the needless loss of potentially thousands of innocent Iraqis who would have been at the mercy of the terrorists and criminals. Americans would be further at risk with a more emboldened terrorist network."

"It is reprehensible for the President to take credit for a war his predecessor won. Then-Senator Obama criticized the Iraq war, called it a dumb war, said our troops would fail and that the surge would make things worse. History has proved him wrong, and yet he still tries to somehow take credit for our troops’ success without even congratulating them on the good job they have done."

The postings for 1/28/10 over at The Obama File will explain why Obama hasn't learned anything, ignores what the people want, and continues to hype the same old failed policies:

Bob McDonnell's GOP Response: Full Text
Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell's Republican Address to the Nation Following Obama's State of the Union Address

Good evening. I'm Bob McDonnell. Eleven days ago I was honored to be sworn in as the 71st governor of Virginia.

I'm standing in the historic House Chamber of Virginia's Capitol, a building designed by Virginia's second governor, Thomas Jefferson.

It’s not easy to follow the President of the United States. And my twin 18-year old boys have added to the pressure, by giving me exactly ten minutes to finish before they leave to go watch SportsCenter.

I'm joined by fellow Virginians to share a Republican perspective on how to best address the challenges facing our nation today.

We were encouraged to hear President Obama speak this evening about the need to create jobs.

All Americans should have the opportunity to find and keep meaningful work, and the dignity that comes with it.

Many of us here, and many of you watching, have family or friends who have lost their jobs.

1 in 10 American workers is unemployed. That is unacceptable.

Here in Virginia we have faced our highest unemployment rate in more than 25 years, and bringing new jobs and more opportunities to our citizens is the top priority of my administration.

Good government policy should spur economic growth, and strengthen the private sector’s ability to create new jobs.

We must enact policies that promote entrepreneurship and innovation, so America can better compete with the world.

What government should not do is pile on more taxation, regulation, and litigation that kill jobs and hurt the middle class.

It was Thomas Jefferson who called for "A wise and frugal Government which shall leave men free to regulate their own pursuits of industry ….and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned…" He was right.

Today, the federal government is simply trying to do too much.

Last year, we were told that massive new federal spending would create more jobs 'immediately' and hold unemployment below 8%.

In the past year, over three million Americans have lost their jobs, yet the Democratic Congress continues deficit spending, adding to the bureaucracy, and increasing the national debt on our children and grandchildren.

The amount of this debt is on pace to double in five years, and triple in ten. The federal debt is already over $100,000 per household.

This is simply unsustainable. The President's partial freeze on discretionary spending is a laudable step, but a small one.

The circumstances of our time demand that we reconsider and restore the proper, limited role of government at every level.

Without reform, the excessive growth of government threatens our very liberty and prosperity.

In recent months, the American people have made clear that they want government leaders to listen and act on the issues most important to them.

We want results, not rhetoric. We want cooperation, not partisanship.

There is much common ground.

All Americans agree, we need a health care system that is affordable, accessible, and high quality.

But most Americans do not want to turn over the best medical care system in the world to the federal government.

Republicans in Congress have offered legislation to reform healthcare, without shifting Medicaid costs to the states, without cutting Medicare, and without raising your taxes.

We will do that by implementing common sense reforms, like letting families and businesses buy health insurance policies across state lines, and ending frivolous lawsuits against doctors and hospitals that drive up the cost of your healthcare.

And our solutions aren't thousand-page bills that no one has fully read, after being crafted behind closed doors with special interests.

In fact, many of our proposals are available online at solutions.gop.gov, and we welcome your ideas on Facebook and Twitter.

All Americans agree, this nation must become more energy independent and secure.

We are blessed here in America with vast natural resources, and we must use them all.

Advances in technology can unleash more natural gas, nuclear, wind, coal, and alternative energy to lower your utility bills.

Here in Virginia, we have the opportunity to be the first state on the East Coast to explore for and produce oil and natural gas offshore.

But this Administration’s policies are delaying offshore production, hindering nuclear energy expansion, and seeking to impose job-killing cap and trade energy taxes.

Now is the time to adopt innovative energy policies that create jobs and lower energy prices.

All Americans agree, that a young person needs a world-class education to compete in the global economy. As a kid my dad told me, "Son, to get a good job, you need a good education." That’s even more true today.

The President and I agree on expanding the number of high-quality charter schools, and rewarding teachers for excellent performance. More school choices for parents and students mean more accountability and greater achievement.

A child's educational opportunity should be determined by her intellect and work ethic, not by her zip code.

All Americans agree, we must maintain a strong national defense. The courage and success of our Armed Forces is allowing us to draw down troop levels in Iraq as that government is increasingly able to step up. My oldest daughter, Jeanine, was an Army platoon leader in Iraq, so I'm personally grateful for the service and the sacrifice of all of our men and women in uniform, and a grateful nation thanks them.

We applaud President Obama's decision to deploy 30,000 more troops to Afghanistan. We agree that victory there is a national security imperative. But we have serious concerns over recent steps the Administration has taken regarding suspected terrorists.

Americans were shocked on Christmas Day to learn of the attempted bombing of a flight to Detroit. This foreign terror suspect was given the same legal rights as a U.S. citizen, and immediately stopped providing critical intelligence.

As Senator-elect Scott Brown says, we should be spending taxpayer dollars to defeat terrorists, not to protect them.

Here at home government must help foster a society in which all our people can use their God-given talents in liberty to pursue the American Dream. Republicans know that government cannot guarantee individual outcomes, but we strongly believe that it must guarantee equality of opportunity for all.

That opportunity exists best in a democracy which promotes free enterprise, economic growth, strong families, and individual achievement.

Many Americans are concerned about this Administration's efforts to exert greater control over car companies, banks, energy and health care.

Over-regulating employers won’t create more employment; overtaxing investors won’t foster more investment.

Top-down one-size fits all decision making should not replace the personal choices of free people in a free market, nor undermine the proper role of state and local governments in our system of federalism. As our Founders clearly stated, and we Governors understand, government closest to the people governs best.

And no government program can replace the actions of caring Americans freely choosing to help one another. The Scriptures say "To whom much is given, much will be required." As the most generous and prosperous nation on Earth, it is heartwarming to see Americans giving much time and money to the people of Haiti. Thank you for your ongoing compassion.

Some people are afraid that America is no longer the great land of promise that she has always been. They should not be.

America will always blaze the trail of opportunity and prosperity.

America must always be a land where liberty and property are valued and respected, and innocent human life is protected.

Government should have this clear goal: Where opportunity is absent, we must create it. Where opportunity is limited, we must expand it. Where opportunity is unequal, we must make it open to everyone.

Our Founders pledged their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor to create this nation.

Now, we should pledge as Democrats, Republicans and Independents--Americans all---to work together to leave this nation a better place than we found it.

God Bless you, and God Bless our great nation.

Nice Deb: Krauthamer On Obama’s SOTU Speech: No Pivot, “Tone Was Strained and Unctuous”

Good roundup of links there, too.

Look at this portion:

Don Surber:

Tonight’s State of the Union address is the least important one since Richard Nixon’s in 1974. The State of the Union address was delivered 8 days ago by the voters of Massachusetts. They killed the centerpiece of Barack Obama’s presidency and without his health care plan, he is nothing.

There is nothing President Obama can say or do tonight that could save his presidency. It is over. He is through. It lasted exactly 365 days. The one year president.

The stench of political death exudes from him. Soon, he will be mocked as his irrelevancy becomes more and more apparent by the week, by the day and eventually by the hour.

Already George Soros has walked out on him.

Reuters: “Billionaire financier George Soros said on Wednesday U.S. President Barack Obama’s plan to impose a tax on large banks was premature and his wider proposals to rein in banks’ activities may not go far enough.”

George Soros does not give a damn about banks. He would break every one of them if he could. He cares only about George Soros and Barack Obama has served his purpose and so George Soros moves on.

The exodus is on.

George Soros is walking out on him???!!! WHOO HOO!!!

Big Government: Now Even Speeches Fail President Obama

This is what Glenn Beck was saying. If he was just a politician, he would triangulate like Clinton did, but if he was a revolutionary radical, then he would say full speed ahead. Guess what he did? There's no way to get around it now, he is a radical and he is following the Saul Allinsky plan step by step.

Sharp Right Turn: Words to describe Obama’s SOTU speech: Intolerant, intimidation, propaganda, childish, not true, distasteful…

Excerpt quote from Ace of Spades:

What words didn’t he use? Victory. Freedom. Or anything that recognized the fruits of the incredible sacrifices millions of men and women in our military and their families made to make it possible. You see, the war is just “ending”. …….Oh and this ‘ending’? Yeah, he inherited that from Bush too but you don’t hear him mention that do you?

I doubt W. cares much about what this CHILDISH little man says or thinks about him. Bush signed up for the big leagues and if Obama can’t do anything but bitch about him, well, that’s part of the deal. Besides, Bush only looks better by comparison.

But for a serving Commander in Chief to fail to acknowledge the victory of American troops is beyond shameful, it’s unpardonable and even un-American.

Like I've said before MANY times at this blog. You NEVER hear the words "victory" or "freedom" from Obama. How SHAMEFUL!!

Women’s Rights groups, like NOW, commendably call out advertisers and networks for airing sexist and demeaning portrayals of women that lead to young women’s diminished self-esteem and acceptance of roles as mere sexed-up objects.

What a ridiculous situation they’re getting themselves into now with their protest of CBS airing a pro-life ad during the upcoming Super Bowl game. The ad will feature Heisman trophy winner Tim Tebow and his mom, and they’ll speak to the sanctity of life and the beautiful potential within every innocent child as Mrs. Tebow acknowledges her choice to give Tim life, despite less than ideal circumstances. Messages like this empower women! This speaks to the strength and commitment and nurturing spirit within women. The message says everything positive and nothing negative about the power of women – and life. Evidently, some women’s rights groups like NOW do not like that message.

NOW is looking at the pro-life issue backwards. Women should be reminded that they are strong enough and smart enough to make decisions that allow for career and educational opportunities while still giving their babies a chance at life. In my own home, my daughter Bristol has also been challenged by pro-abortion “women’s rights” groups who don’t agree with her decision to have her baby, nor do they like the abstinence message which she articulated as her personal commitment. NOW could gain ground and credibility with everyday Americans, thus allowing their pro-women message to be heard by more than just their ardent supporters, if they made wiser decisions regarding which battles to pick.

I love how Sarah Palin points out how NOW can do some good by protesting sexist remarks, demeaning portrayals of women and rampant abuse of women. But then, on the other hand, the organization shows their utter hypocrisy when it comes to the abortion controversy. Abortion is another form of abuse of women!! How many women have come out and said that they REGRET THEIR ABORTIONS?? THOUSANDS!! But does NOW support them? Of course not! It is against their pro-abortion "religion"!!

Sarah Palin was much kinder to the NOW [dis]- organization than I would be. Many times it is very hard for me to hold back what I think of those people. Being the Christian woman that I am, I just can't bring myself to say it. Bible verses are the best way to express it. But first, I will add my own comment that was posted at Gateway Pundit and Sarah Palin's Facebook page:

How unreasonable and ironic it is to consider that NOW pro-death-to-unborn babies members advocate being pro-choice, when in reality, they are anti-the-choice-to-choose life?

What did THEIR mothers do when THEY were in the womb? They chose life for THEM!

Choose life – your mother did!

Jesus had harsh words to say about what should happen to those who would "offend these little ones." What bigger offense to "these little ones" could there be than to intentionally kill them in the womb??

Mat 18:6
But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and [that] he were drowned in the depth of the sea.

Mar 9:42
And whosoever shall offend one of [these] little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea.

Luk 17:2
It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.

"one God and one mediator" between "God and men"
1Ti 2:5 For [there is] one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; 1st Timothy Chapter 2 When I read this, I read there is "one God and one mediator" between God and man which means that Jesus is God because the one God and mediator is "between God and men".

I heard this from Pastor Bill while driving home in the car today so I decided to study this for myself.

John 17:5 And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.

This is a statement of deity based on what we know from other verses. By deduction, if Isaiah 42:8 and Isaiah 48:11 say that "..my glory will I not give" or yield to another then Jesus is claiming to have the same glory with God which makes Him God because God won't yield it to another.

Isaiah 42:8 I [am] the LORD: that [is] my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.

Isaiah 48:11 For mine own sake, [even] for mine own sake, will I do [it]: for how should [my name] be polluted? and I will not give (nathan , yield, H5414) my glory unto another.

And God yielded Jesus' name to be above every name:

Philippians 2:9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

Great verses!

Great study, Sothenes. Brief but very powerful! Those verses reveal Jesus' deity so explicitly, how could anyone miss such truth?

Jesus always gives every man and woman a choice. We have the choice of life or death; salvation or slavery to sin, heaven or hell, acceptance of Him or rejection of Him. No wonder He asks us the most pertinent question in all of Creation: "Who do you say that I am?" How each individual person answers that question determines where he or she will spend eternity!

Inspiring The 'Precious Ones' And Us All!

I am reading Sarah Palin's "Going Rogue" book. One of the best chapters so far happens to be Chapter Six, aptly entitled "Going Rogue" as well. Love the quote at the beginning of the chapter:

I am convinced that life is 10 percent what happens to me and 90 percent how I react to it. And so it is with you...we are in charge of our attitudes. - Charles Swindoll

This portion of the book begins by describing how Governor Palin was whisked away out of Anchorage Alaska on a private jet so that her introduction as the Republican vice presidential nominee would be a surprise.

The chapter is filled with examples of how Sarah Palin and her family were so horribly treated by the press and political detractors. As we now know, the "detractors" became whipped up into a weird and ugly political frenzied machine; intent on trying to destroy Governor Palin and her family.

But what was so heartening to recall and read a year and 3 months after the fact, was how Sarah connected with the children who were born with Down syndrome and their parents and caregivers who she had met along the rope lines at several U.S. cities throughout the nation. The following portion of her account of the events made me tear up:

After, in the rope line, I was moving through the crowd, shaking hands and signing posters and hats and shirts, when I suddenly came to a stop. Standing on the other side of the rope were a woman and two teenagers whom I could not miss. The kids had Down syndrome. A boy and a girl.

"Hi, what's your name?" I said to the girl, smiling.

The girl stammered for a minute and finally managed to say, "Sarah."

"Sarah!" I said. "That's my name, too! It's so great to meet you, and we have the same name. Isn't that amazing?"

Then I turned to the boy, and my heart just melted. Trig's face flashed into my mind, and I thought, This could be my son fifteen years from now.

By then, Trig was going on five months old and we were still learning the ropes of having a child with Down syndrome. We were so enjoying this little guy with his just-happy-to-be-here demeanor and his silly smiles, and watching him get stronger, chubbier, and more fun every day, just like any other baby. Still, we were curious about what was ahead. We were managing well with him as a baby, but what about a toddler? As a teenage?

I reached across the rope and laid my hand against the boy's face. "Let me look at you," I said, "I want to get a good look at how beautiful my Trig is going to grow up to be."

If that last sentence from Sarah doesn't make you well up with tears, maybe nothing will.

Here is a woman who is just learning to deal with a baby with whom most people in society would label as "imperfect." Yet, she turns such a societal label completely around by using uplifting words of support to let that teen aged boy with Down syndrome know that he is beautiful! No wonder crowds of people with special needs children felt emboldened to attend the rallies. They already knew that they would have an ally in the White House if John McCain and Sarah Palin won the election.

Governor Palin writes:

That was a significant turning point for me, personally. At that moment , I realized in awe that these precious ones are all brothers and sisters. Before Trig was born, I didn't know what to expect and we had a natural uncertainty about perceived "imperfection." There on the rope line in Cedar Rapids, I realized that my Trig is part of a large and very special community. And look how this mom was making it work with these two precious teenagers! Look how she cared so much to bring them out to a crowded, hectic, but fun rally and given them what might be a once-in-a-lifetime experience, a presidential campaign event in their own hometown. And I just knew there was no need to fear anymore. At this rowdy rally in Iowa my world became a more peaceful place. Todd was right: everything was going to be all right.

As it turned out, the number of special needs kids and adults who began showing up at events along the trail was spectacular. It was one of the absolute best parts of the campaign. I heard from experienced staffers that organizers would typically need maybe a sign language interpreter and a handicapped area large enough to accommodate a few dozen wheelchairs. But it seemed that at all our stops, the number of wheelchairs multiplied, as did the number of kids and adults with various challenges. At a rally in Fairfax, Virginia, I remember looking about and seeing scores of wheelchairs. In the middle of my speech it started pouring rain. Within five minutes, I looked like a wet dog and my makeup was running off my face. I wanted to keep going and finish because I didn't want to disappoint all those people who had been waiting for hours to hear our ticket's message. Even more, I was inspired to see that not one of the people in wheelchairs made a move to leave.

I thought, This is inspiration!

Governor Sarah Palin? YOU are an inspiration! You were a great inspiration to millions of Americans during the entire 2008 campaign and you continue to be a true voice for Americans today! You were real during the campaign. You are a real, patriotic, God-loving American who brought out the best in people everywhere. There is nothing phony about you; unlike the presidential opponent and well-oiled (and bullying) "machine" that you and John McCain faced during the election race. Those foam faux Greek columns that were placed near Obama when he made another one of his typical teleprompter speeches - filled with great rhetoric but empty promises - showed just how phony he was as a candidate. Governor Palin's speech writer even predicted how Obama would be as president:

A bit later, I launched into a part of the speech that, since Barack Obama's election, has proved Matthew Scully prescient:

"...when the cloud of rhetoric has passed...when the roar of the crowd fades away...when the stadium lights go out and those Styrofoam Greek columns are hauled back to some studio lot--what exactly is our opponent's plan? What does he actually seek to accomplish, after he's done turning back the waters and healing the planet?

"The answer is to make government bigger...take more of your money...give you more orders from Washington...and to reduce the strength of America in a dangerous world. America need more energy...our opponent is against producing it.

"And let me be specific, the Democratic nominee for president supports plans to raise income taxes...raise payroll taxes...raise investment income taxes...raise the death tax...raise business taxes...and increase the tax burden on the American people by hundreds of billion of dollars."

Yep...what a terrific prediction that is now coming true (unfortunately) right before our very eyes!

Back to the rallies.

Sarah goes on to briefly describe other rallies where special needs children and people attended. One group of fifteen kids with Down syndrome wore shirts that read, WE LOVE TRIG! and TRIG IN THE WHITE HOUSE! The fact that these kids could identify with a national campaign was awe-inspiring...to Palin, her family, the people who showed up, and now the entire nation as millions of people read Sarah's best selling book!

May God continue to bless you, Sarah Palin, in all that you do and through any and every endeavor that the Lord leads you to pursue!

Ten Most Corrupt Politicians

FYI - I have been on the road all weekend so the post that I intended to do on Glenn Beck's documentary will be posted sometime early this week.

Meanwhile, I found Judicial Watch: Announces List of Washington's "Ten Most Wanted Corrupt Politicians" for 2009 very interesting. So are the comments. Will cite more of the comments when I get a chance.

My first question is, why only a top ten? There are plenty who could fill a list of twenty - maybe even thirty dirty politicians!

One comment that caught my eye was this one about Nancy Pelosi:

Wed, 12/30/2009 - 10:08am — Anonymous (not verified)
Nancy Pelosi aiding and abetting
Let's not forget that Nancy Pelosi signed two different nomination certification documents after the DNC convention. The certifications for now Pres. Obama and VP Joe Biden contained Constitutional verbiage for only the Hawaii certification, the other 49 states received a version without the Constitutional verbiage. This at least limits her liability to being prosecuted in one state as opposed to all 50 for the falsification.

It's VERY interesting that the lone Republican is up for a sex scandal, routinely dismissed as 'typical, forgivable human failings' for most Democrats.

If any lawyers (or people knowledgeable about lawsuits) come along, could you please tell readers here why a lawsuit cannot be filed against Pelosi for falsification of Obama's nomination certification documents in 2008?

This one is really good too:

2009 and Government
I did not vote for President Obama but when he won the election I did not realize that Obama hated America and Americans to the degree he has shown over the last 11 months. I did not realize the Obama would dismantle our private sector to the point where many industries are now owned and/or run by the federal government (AKA communism, Marxist, socialism...take your pick); push unions and put working Americans down; push Marxist health and put seniors at risk; care more about being a buddy to terrorists in foreign lands than protecting the USA!

But the best thing that came out of this is....even though I had stroke and didn't walk very well I got to be part of 1.7 million Americans who marched on DC on 9 12! The best experience of my life! I am part of a letter writing group (one of thousands in our country) writing to senators and representatives asking them NOT TO PASS OBAMACARE, NOT TO PASS OBAMAENERGY!

I have seen an army of Americans go to war on our land every way they can to save our country from Obama, Rahm, Pelosi, Reid, Van Jones, Eric, all the Marxist czars, Rangel, Schumer, Baucus, Waxman!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Che - The Evil Murderer

I haven't been able to see the entire broadcast of Glenn Beck's documentary, "The Revolutionary Holocaust: Live Free or Die" which was broadcast on his Fox News Channel show today. However, I did find a YouTube clip of a portion of the documentary that was about Che Guevara.

Anyone who sees this video clip will know the truth about that evil murderer!! And, I truly hope that once Americans know the truth - they will make the informed decision to NEVER, EVER wear a Che t-shirt again!

Update:

Here is a link to six segments of the Documentary:

Even though it is very late (11:30 p.m. PT), I am going to watch them tonight and report on them sometime over the weekend.

Americans Still Question Obama's Legitimacy to be POTUS

Every so often, I hear a few Democratic news contributors mention the "birthers." Even on Fox News Channel! Usually, it is presented in a negative and disparaging way. For instance, last night during the O'Reilly Factor, one of the commentators at Fox News, Mark Lamont Hill, mentioned (in passing) the "craziness" of the birthers [Note: those who question Obama's eligibility to be president because his father was Kenyan born and therefore Obama can't be a natural born citizen as is required by our U.S. Constitution]. If you weren't listening closely, you may have missed him comparing the "birthers" to 9/11 truthers. [Note: a 9/11 truther is a person who believes that the Bush Administration was previously aware of, and complicit, in the radical Islamic 9/11/2001 attack against our country which caused the horrific deaths to close to 3,000 people.]

In Mark Lamont Hill's case, it was said in passing - as if to say that no one believes what the "birthers" are saying - just like no sane person ever believed that President Bush and his administration had previous knowledge of the 9/11 attack.

Well, trouble is, there are FAR MORE BIRTHERS out there than 9/11 truthers! And, more are being added to the ranks with each passing day! Plus, the fact that Obama is spending close to 2 million dollars on lawyers defending him against being forced to release the document shows that he is actively hiding the release of his long-form birth certificate (as well as many other bona fides). This tells us that he's most likely afraid of being discovered as being a usurper and not a legitimate candidate for POTUS. Why else would he not release the COLB (certificate of live birth) to prove, once and for all, that he is a natural born citizen??

WorldNetDaily: WND/WENZEL POLL

Just 51% of Americans believe Obama eligible
Nearly 1/2 of U.S. citizens say he's not 'legitimate president'

Excerpt:

A new poll marking Barack Obama's one year as president reveals Americans are questioning his legitimacy to hold the office, fear his plans and doubt even his friends.

"Typically, a political figure in trouble from pursuing a radical agenda generally tacks to the political center, but there is no evidence that Obama is interested in following conventional wisdom on this point. Democrats nationwide may face the fallout in November," warned Fritz Wenzel of Wenzel Strategies.

The poll revealed if the 2012 election were held today, Obama would come in second to an unspecified opponent.

Did you get that last sentence? Obama would come in second to an unspecified opponent! Wow! That's like saying ANYONE BUT OBAMA for the next election!

Look at these stats!

Wenzel said voters have advanced in their opinions of the issue of Obama's legitimacy from some six months ago when most Americans said they were aware of the questions being raised.

When asked if they consider Obama a "legitimate president," 32.6 percent said no, and another 15.8 percent said they were not sure. Barely half of the voters, 51.5 percent said they do consider Obama a legitimate president even though he has yet to produce a long-form birth certificate that would prove he was born in the U.S.

Even 14.6 percent of the Democrats said they do not consider him a legitimate president, along with 52.2 percent of the Republicans. Significantly, 31.8 percent of the independents said no.

Those who were uncertain included 12.1 percent of the Democrats, 21.3 percent of the Republicans and 14.3 percent of the independents.

Also, asked whether they were more or less likely to believe in Obama's legitimacy, only 40.1 percent said much more. Some 27.9 percent said much less, with a significant 12 percent unsure.

"A lingering doubt about his legitimacy as president continues to dog Obama," Wenzel said. "Barely half – 52 percent – said they believe that, in light of the fact he has not yet presented a long-form birth certificate that would prove he was born on U.S. soil, while 33 percent said they do not consider him to be a legitimate president. Another 16 percent were unsure on the question. While some try to marginalize those who continue to call for Obama to release his birth certificate, it is clear many don't think this is a settled matter.

"As he loses public support for his agenda, the risk grows that this unaddressed issue could come back to haunt Obama, perhaps at a time when he can least afford it. Evidence of this stems from this latest WND/Wenzel Strategies poll – where support for Obama's legitimacy drops to 48 percent when respondents are asked to consider not only the birth certificate issue but also Obama's legislative agenda during his first year," Wenzel said. "The percentage who question his legitimacy also increases when his agenda is considered as part of the equation."

This latest poll means that people have been researching the issue via the Internet, forums, and blogs. Why? Because the Lamestream media will not touch the subject - except to mock those who question Obama's legitimacy. This proves that questions about Obama's ineligibility is far from being a "settled matter" as the progressives and liberals would like people to think!

The Lies of Obama

Front Page Magazine: The Lies of Obama

The accumulated weight of Obama’s deceit is overwhelming:

* During his campaign for the presidency and since, Obama repeatedly assured us that he would protect Medicare against cuts; but he now presses for passage of bills that include savage cuts in Medicare.

* To obtain passage of his first stimulus bill, Obama assured us that 90% of the jobs created would be in the private sector; but as he well knew, most of them were to be in the public sector.

* Early in the health care debate, Obama assured us that he had not said that he favored a single payer system; but he was on record as having said exactly that.

* Obama gave primary voters a firm assurance that if he became the nominee of the Democratic party he would (unlike Hillary Clinton) abide by the campaign finance limits of public funding; but as soon as he became the party’s nominee, he reneged on that pledge.

* During the presidential campaign Obama criticized the presence of former lobbyists in the Bush administration and solemnly assured us that he would appoint no lobbyists to his administration; but once elected he proceeded to appoint even more lobbyists than his predecessors.

* Obama criticized the size of George Bush’s deficit and promised to stop deficit spending if elected; but he has already quadrupled the size of the deficit he objected to and recklessly continues new federal spending in the trillions.

* When campaigning Obama criticized bills before the congress that were too long for anyone to be able to read and promised to stop that; but the bills he has been backing throughout his first year are infinitely longer (2000+ pages) than the ones he criticized.

* Candidate Obama promised an end to the corruption of earmarks and pork, but in the bills he has supported this year there have been more and bigger earmarks than ever before.

* Candidate Obama promised us that CIA personnel involved in the interrogation of terrorists would not be prosecuted; but his administration is now doing exactly that.

* Obama assured a joint session of Congress that the health bill he supported (pre-Stupak) would not provide public funding for abortions; but bitter resistance on the part of House Democrats to inclusion of language to that effect soon proved that it did.

* Candidate Obama promised that he would make sure that there was always enough time for the public to read legislation before it was enacted; but he has done exactly the opposite, repeatedly pressing for even faster passage of even longer bills.

* Candidate Obama met fears that he would be a tax and spend liberal by promising, emphatically and repeatedly, that those earning under $200,000 would see no increase in their taxes of any kind; but he now urges passage of a healthcare bill that breaks that pledge in many different ways, and his unrestrained increase in federal spending makes more tax increases inevitable.

* Candidate Obama promised bipartisanship and an end to partisan bickering; but in a display of especially ruthless partisanship his allies have shut Republicans out of all key meetings on his health care initiative, with the unprecedented result that domestic legislation of historic importance garnered not a single Republican vote in the Senate.

* Candidate Obama criticized his opponent’s plan to tax employer paid healthcare benefits, and promised he would not tax them; but the bill he now backs will do just that.

* Obama had promised that he would not sign a healthcare bill that would add one dime to the federal deficit; but the bill he now backs adds trillions in new federal spending, offset only by new sources of revenue that are both uncertain and more properly seen as offsetting the already existing deficit.

* Obama coerced congress into passing his stimulus bill by promising that if it were passed unemployment could go no higher then 8%; but unemployment is now at 10%, and he could not possibly have had good reason to exclude that possibility.

* Obama promised that his cap and trade legislation will create jobs; but its massive tax increases will certainly hobble the economy and destroy jobs, while green jobs in significant numbers can at best be hoped for, but never promised.

* Obama has repeatedly assured the American people that if they like their current health plan they can keep it; but the House bill which he supported created huge incentives for employers to drop their coverage and shift their members to a public option.

* Obama has just as often assured the public that under his health plan everyone will be able to keep their current doctor; but many are certain to lose their doctors when ObamaCare’s large cuts in Medicare funding induce more doctors to withdraw from Medicare coverage, as they also would were employers to transfer patients to a public option to save money.

* Obama assured a joint session of Congress that his health plan would not fund illegal aliens; but his allies had been busy voting down amendments to that effect. (This was the point of Joe Wilson’s outburst.)

* Obama claimed that John Deere’s CEO had told him that Deere would begin hiring again as a result of the stimulus bill; but that individual immediately announced that he had said no such thing, and that Deere would in fact be laying off more workers.

* Candidate Obama promised that Guantanamo would be closed by January 1, 2010; but it is still open.

* Candidate Obama promised that his administration (unlike his predecessor’s) would be so transparent that TV cameras (C-Span) would be there for key deliberations; but an unprecedented level of secrecy prevails as the final stages of Obamacare are negotiated behind closed doors and kept so secret that even the Senate majority whip admitted that he had no idea what was going on. Requests for Obama to honor the promise of C-Span cameras are being ignored.

* To gain traction for his attempt to return a would-be socialist dictator in Honduras to power, Obama claimed that he had been overthrown in an illegal coup; but the congressional research service pointed out correctly that ex-President Zelaya had been removed for constitutionally sufficient cause by legal and constitutional means.

* Obama claims that he wants a public option only to increase choice and competition; but the House bill would clearly reduce choice both by squeezing unsubsidized private health plans out of the market, and by setting rigid conditions on acceptable plans that would narrow available options.

* Candidate Obama claimed that violent radical Bill Ayers was just another guy in his neighborhood; but the record shows that the two had worked closely together.

* Obama assured us that his stimulus bill would create or save a million jobs; but he was claiming as fact what could never have been more than a wild (and highly improbable) guess, and his more recent attempts to justify that guess have been fraudulent.

* Obama assured us that his health plan would never ration care, or “pull the plug” on grandma; but the legislation he backs sets up panels to make crucial decisions on when to withhold care, and it makes such deep cuts in Medicare that rationing is inevitable.

* Obama now assures us that health insurance premiums will not go up if ObamaCare becomes law, insisting indignantly that people who say this have not read the bill; but the legislation forces insurers to cover preexisting conditions, which will compel them to raise premiums substantially.

This is an extraordinary record of serial mendacity. One or two instances might charitably be regarded as rash promises later regretted, or as the wishful thinking of someone who had not thought through the implications of what he was saying. But when it happens again and again—and my 30 instances are by no means exhaustive—only one judgment seems possible: this is the record of a habitual, shameless liar, a man who will say anything to get what he wants. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me, goes the old saying. But scores of times? How shameful is that for our society when this disgraceful record is never the subject of a reproachful editorial in the New York Times, the Washington Post, or CBS news? Richard Nixon was removed from office, and Bill Clinton impeached for a single lie. Who could look at Obama’s record without concluding that his lying is in a completely different league to theirs?

President Obama evidently believes that he can solve any problem with a speech. But he really does not care whether what he says is true or not, nor does he feel any responsibility to honor the assurances and promises he makes. As a result, this nation is now in a position where it cannot believe a word that he says, and that amounts to an unprecedented crisis of confidence in the Presidency. Democratic government will atrophy if we allow lying on this scale to count as the business as usual of politics. When will the press and the Congress hold him accountable?

YES!! When will the press and Congress hold him accountable? That's what I would like to know!

You have omitted his biggest and most harmful lie. He lied when he took a solemn oath to uphold and protect the constitution of the United States. He hates America and is on record over his disdain of the constitution. He is what our Founding Fathers feared the most ....."one who would destroy the republic and constitution from within".

This article is good but it really doesn't even come close to documenting all of his lies. The main issue is can you name a single thing he has said that was true. I can't think of anything.

Just yesterday he said that Senator Brown from Mass was elected in the same wave of change that elected him.

Please someone tell me anything Obama has ever said that was true.

Answer: NOTHING. I can't think of one thing!

I Was Wrong About Brown

When I am wrong about something, or someone, I have to own up to it and make a confession. As a pro-life, born again biblical Christian, I was wrong to enthusiastically support Scott Brown on this blog. It saddens me to have to write this. When Hannity and others where declaring Brown as a Conservative, I just assumed that he must be pro-life. Then again, not all conservatives are pro-life. That's unimaginable to me - but it's a fact in this day and age. Lesson learned? Don't ever take anything for granted! Get the facts, first.

Today, via the comment section at Gateway Pundit's blog I found out that Brown is "pro-choice" (a.k.a. pro-abortion).

I found out via this comment:

Tom63010

Let me preface this comment:
1) I know Scott Brown is pro-choice (I am pro-life).
2) I am a huge supporter of Sarah Palin
3) The answer to the reporter was YES he does.

This guy is the first person I have heard in a long time that can answer a question in the manner of Ronald Reagan. Michael Steele needs to be tutored by this guy!

You don’t allow reporters to take you down a path where you don’t want to go. You don’t accept premises that reporters include in their questions. Even the Liberal media will be enamored by this guy if he disarms their prejudicial questions skillfully.

I believe we are seeing a shooting star! I’m like most who are not ready to anoint him as the “conservative messiah” but after wandering in the wilderness with the Republican Party anointing men like Bob Dole and John McCain to be our “Moses” but I’m ready for a guy like him.

I love Sarah Palin’s values but she can’t handle the media, she even stumbles with Glenn Beck. Since she has been on Fox News I’ve really grown tired of hearing her. I think the move to Fox News was a mistake.

I think a bigger mistake is her decision to announce that she will campaign for John McCain in person is a big mistake.

She should have waited until the Arizona Primary was over. What if a real good Republican conservative that has the backing of the “Tea Party” runs against McCain in the primary? What if John McCain looses in the primary to that person? She will then be on the side of a squishy moderate that told us not to fear Obama, “he’s a good man”.

"Tom" goes on to say that he still supports Brown, despite the fact that he (Tom) is pro-life. My question. Why would a pro-life person knowingly do such a thing?

Yes. Scott Brown's victory will (hopefully) stop Obama Hellcare. God can use anyone to answer the prayers of the faithful - even a pro-abortion candidate. However, if I lived in Massachusetts and knew that Brown was pro-abortion, I could not vote for him. Neither would I vote for him in the future if he becomes a candidate for the presidency.

The pro-abortion stance of Barack Hussein Obama was the very first reason why I could NEVER vote for him either! Wouldn't it be hypocritical of me to vote for Brown knowing that he believes, as does Obama, that the killing of babies in the womb is OK and not murder??

I am very sorry to learn that Scott Brown is pro-abortion. No wonder so many Independents voted for him in MA.

Unfortunately, I could never vote for a pro-abortion candidate for any political position. Period. Even if a pro-abortion candidate is the favored choice, I just cannot sacrifice a Christian core value such as life for the unborn for political expediency.

Here in California, when the choice for governor was pro-abortion RINO Arnold or pro-life candidate Tom McClintock – I voted for McClintock. To this very day, I have NEVER regretted that vote.

After this horribly destructive and revolting year with Obamafraud, look at all of the people who voted for Obama – even many Christians and Catholics – who now deeply regret their votes??

That’s what happens when people do not vote their conscience, values, and ethics. It leads to disaster.

My previously positive and enthusiastic opinion of Brown has now been lowered substantially. (Sorry to all who are celebrating his victory.)

At least John McCain is pro-life. That elevates him above Brown, in my mind, any day of the week.

Bush's Liberty vs. Obama's Tyranny

I must have been more tired than usual this evening. I fell asleep on the couch watching T.V. at around 8:00 p.m. I woke up just in time to see the last 15 minutes of tonight's American Idol auditions. One guy, who refused to leave the audition area after singing "Amazing Grace" (very badly, I might add) ended up being escorted out in handcuffs by the security team.

The last guy who auditioned had said he was looking for redemption. At age 15, he had robbed a bank with a b-b gun. He spent four years of his life in jail because of that crime. He belted out the song "Trouble" and received accolades from all three judges. Simon even went so far to say that he was "the best of the night" and that he would most likely make "the top twelve."

The difference between these two contestants was that one was highly arrogant, disrespectful, a coward, phony, and a failure; while the other was humble, respectful, brave, genuine, and triumphant.

At the time I observed the differences between those two Idol contestants, I didn't make any correlation between our current president and our former president. However, after reading the following post at Gateway Pundit, the comparison between those two Idol contestants and the comparison between Obama and Bush in their respective first years of their presidencies was quite evident.

Before closing my browser for the night, I always check to see if there are any comments that need to be published. This evening, at 9:00 p.m., there weren't any comments, but as I mentioned previously, a post over at Gateway Pundit caught my eye. It is entitled, One Year Ago- The World’s Greatest Liberator Since World War II Left Office. Of course, I instinctively knew that the author, Jim Hoft, was sharing a tribute about George W. Bush.

As I read the first few paragraphs, I started to tear up.

It seems like forever.

A year ago President George W. Bush left the White House. Since that time the unemployment has nearly doubled, the national deficit has tripled, government has grown in leaps and bounds, and the current president has blamed his predecessor for every problem he has encountered. President Obama even blamed George Bush for the Coakley loss yesterday in Massachusetts.

Here again is a tribute to President George W. Bush that was posted last year:

* * * * *
“The decision by Bush, with Blair’s support, to sweep the Taliban out of Afghanistan was a brilliant move, one that not all U.S. presidents would have taken. A weaker leader would have gone to the United Nations Security Council and sought a negotiated settlement with Kabul.”

US President George Bush prepares to speak to supporters in Freedom Square, Tbilisi, Georgia. (SMH)

Don’t expect to read anything this honest in the US papers…George W. Bush liberated 60,000,000 Muslims from tyranny- More than any leader since World War II.

After reading that last sentence, the tears flowed as I sobbed. Tried to read the rest of the post, but had to calm down a bit. I'm not quite sure why I had such a powerful reaction to what I was reading. I guess that it was because I miss the feeling that I had when I knew that a president truly loves this country and its people.

I miss knowing that he would do all that was necessary to keep our country safe; and at the same time, enable our brave military to liberate millions of people who probably took it all for granted.

When I compare the adolescent and dangerous administration that we have suffered through over the past year to the previous administration that conducted itself as brave adults with duty, honor, integrity, ethics, genuine patriotism, and love for the people of the United States of America; it's like comparing night and day and good vs. evil. Now that we are suffering with Obama's tyrannical rule and policies, the liberty that America so dearly loves and works hard to preserve is now in jeopardy. Perhaps that is why I was led to tears tonight.

I never felt that President Bush would EVER mock or disparage We The People! I never heard him apologize for what is perceived by some as America's "shortcomings" to other nations. I never heard him disparage the United States Constitution by calling it a "flawed document" the way that Obama has done. Obama should look in the mirror and instead of giving himself a "B-" grade for his first year, he should be honest and admit how flawed he has been on every single issue.

Of course, no president is ever perfect. I disagreed with several policies of the Bush administration (especially when it came to illegal immigration and the "Land for Peace" deal being brokered between Israel and the Palestinians.) Other than those two flawed policies (IMO), President Bush did an excellent job leading and protecting this country. It has become even more evident now that we have a liberal, Marxist, narcissist who didn't believe that there was a worldwide War on Terror until three successful attacks occurred on U.S. soil in 2009, with one more thwarted attack (thank God and that brave Dutchman who took action) that happened on Christmas Day.

When I think about how terribly President Bush was treated by the Media of Mass Deception and how much the Lamestream media now bows at the feet of arrogant Obama, it sickens me.

How sad, but true, is it that in order to get an honest review of the Bush years, we must go to the press release of a foreign country?

The Telegraph gives an honest review of the Bush years:

Ten or twenty years from now, historians will view Bush’s actions on the world stage in a more favourable light. America’s 43rd president did after all directly liberate more people (over 60 million) from tyranny than any leader since Winston Churchill and Franklin D. Roosevelt.

Widely seen as his biggest foreign policy error, the decision to invade Iraq could ultimately prove to have been a masterstroke. Today the world is witnessing the birth of the first truly democratic state in the Middle East outside of Israel. Over eight million voted in Iraq’s parliamentary elections in 2005, and the region’s first free Muslim society may become a reality. Iraq might not be Turkey, but it is a powerful demonstration that freedom can flourish in the embers of the most brutal and barbaric of dictatorships.

The success of the surge in Iraq will go down in history as a turning point in the war against al-Qaeda. The stunning defeat of the insurgency was a major blow both militarily and psychologically for the terror network. The West’s most feared enemy suffered thousands of losses in Iraq, including many of their most senior commanders, such as Abu Musab al-Zarqawi and Abu Qaswarah. It was the most successful counter-insurgency operation anywhere in the world since the British victory in Malaya in 1960.

The broader war against Islamist terrorism has also been a success. There has not been a single terrorist attack on U.S. soil since 9/11, and for all the global condemnation of pre-emptive strikes, Guantanamo and the use of rendition against terror suspects, the fact remains that Bush’s aggressive strategy actually worked.

Significantly, there have been no successful terrorist attacks in Europe since the July 2005 London bombings, in large part due to the cooperation between U.S., British and other Western intelligence agencies. American intelligence has proved vital in helping prevent an array of planned terror attacks in the UK, a striking demonstration of the value to Britain of its close ties to Washington.

President Bush, in contrast to both his father, George H.W. Bush, and Bill Clinton before him, had a crystal clear, instinctive understanding of the importance of the Anglo-American Special Relationship. Tony Blair may well have been labeled Bush’s “poodle” over his support for the war in Iraq, but his partnership with George W. Bush marked the high point of the Anglo-American alliance since the heady days of Margaret Thatcher and Ronald Reagan.

The decision by Bush, with Blair’s support, to sweep the Taliban out of Afghanistan was a brilliant move, one that not all U.S. presidents would have taken. A weaker leader would have gone to the United Nations Security Council and sought a negotiated settlement with Kabul. It was a risky gambit that was vindicated by a stunning military victory in the space of a month, with a small number of U.S. ground forces involved.

Bush also made a firm commitment to defending the fledgling Afghan government, and succeeded in building a 41-nation NATO-led coalition. The notion that the resurgence of the Taliban is America’s failure is nonsense. The U.S. has more than 30,000 troops in the country under U.S. or NATO command, making up over half of all Allied forces there. Continental European allies have simply failed to step up to the plate with more troops, with almost the entire war-fighting burden placed on the U.S., UK and other English-speaking countries. Afghanistan is not a failure of American leadership, it is a damning indictment of an increasingly pacifist Europe that simply will not fight.

President Bush also recognized the importance of re-shaping the NATO alliance for the 21st Century, backing an ambitious program of NATO expansion, culminating in the addition of seven new members in 2004. He also had the foresight to support the development of a missile defence system in Europe, successfully negotiating deals with both Poland and the Czech Republic. Bush was right to back the eventual inclusion of Georgia and Ukraine in NATO, and both would be well on their way to membership today were it not for the feckless decision of France and Germany to side with Russia in blocking their path to entry.

Bush began his presidency primarily as a domestic leader. He ends it as a war leader who has left a huge imprint internationally. His greatest legacy, the global war against Islamist terror, has left the world a safer place, and his decision to project global power and military might against America’s enemies has made it harder for Islamist terrorists to strike against London, Paris or Berlin.

There is much more at The Telegraph.

Jules Crittenden adds that it is also with tremendous grace that George Bush has accepted his designated role as villain, fall guy, punching bag.

Today again we thank President George W. Bush.

We The People patriots of the United States of America sincerely miss you.

Also see Nice Deb: Why the Backlash?

Excerpt:

Mort Zuckerman voted for Obama, though, and clearly Obama is starting to grate on his nerves:

This health-care plan is going to be a fiscal disaster for the country. Most of the country wanted to deal with costs, not expansion of coverage. This is going to raise costs dramatically.

In the campaign, he said he would change politics as usual. He did change them. It’s now worse than it was. I’ve now seen the kind of buying off of politicians that I’ve never seen before. It’s politically corrupt and it’s starting at the top. It’s revolting.

Nice Deb adds:

Whenever Obama starts talking about our “core values”, my stomach turns. What core values do we share? Name one. A woman’s right to choose an abortion even after the baby’s born? “queerizing” elementary schools?, politicizing the arts? Black liberation theology? admiration for Chairman Mao? giving terrorists the same rights as American citizens?, disdain for the Constitution?, expanding the government, “spreading the wealth”, power through any means necessary, a la Saul Alinsky’s Rules For Radicals?, etc, etc, etc…

Yep…Mort Zuckerman is right (now…good thing he wised up!!). He certainly describes Obama’s destructive first year correctly – IT’S REVOLTING!
