Hello friends!  After a week of absence, I am finally back to blogging.  Thank you for your patience regarding the releasing of comments and thank you for continuing to visit and read this blog.

There are hundreds of topics that I could cover today.  Please see my sidebar for the latest information.  My fellow bloggers are excellent at keeping up with the latest ObaMARXIST BADministration scandals (phony???  I don't think so Oblammy!!!).

As I pointed out to our Sunday School class when doing a few lessons on Refuting Pro-Gay Theology, there is no more fence.  By that I mean that the Left is forcing you to pick a side.  No more mushy middle when you can give lip service to the word of God yet not have it cost you anything.

Here is the clearest example I’ve seen: DOJ on ‘gays’: ‘silence will be interpreted as disapproval’ (text below).  Note that DOJ = Department of Justice.  Let me repeat that: Department of Justice.  You know, the people charged with executing justice in the land.

You can thank the false teachers and theologically Liberal “Christians” for this.  You would think that they would at least pretend to care about religious freedom, but they don’t even offer the mildest rebuke.  And why would they?  When your religion is worshiping the government then you don’t care if they take away real religious freedom.

Read it carefully.  This is where things are going.  You can’t just “tolerate” these behaviors, you must actively affirm them — or else.

Following are excerpts from the “DOJ Pride” decree. When it comes to “LGBT” employees, managers are instructed:

“DON’T judge or remain silent. Silence will be interpreted as disapproval.” (Italics mine)

That’s a threat.

And not even a subtle one.

Got it? For Christians and other morals-minded federal employees, it’s no longer enough to just shut up and “stay in the closet” – to live your life in silent recognition of biblical principles (which, by itself, is unlawful constraint). When it comes to mandatory celebration of homosexual and cross-dressing behaviors, “silence will be interpreted as disapproval.”

This lawless administration is now bullying federal employees – against their will – to affirm sexual behaviors that every major world religion, thousands of years of history and uncompromising human biology reject.

Somewhere, right now, George Orwell is smiling.

People who claim that the radical homosexual agenda "isn't dangerous" have not been paying attention.  They obviously don't understand fanaticism.  Perhaps they should look back at the fanatics of the past (Hitler, Mao, Lenin, Imperial Japan, radical Islamic terrorism) and see how out-of-control such mindsets can be and what it leads to...namely...evil, sin and DEATH!!

Sadly, this does not surprise me one bit.  The warning signs have been clanging for over a decade.  The pro-homosexual radical agenda cannot exist alongside Christian morality and Bible truth.  Therefore, as they say via the Borg in the Star Trek The Next Generation TV series, "resistance is futile."  One has to succumb to one worldview or the other. 

The trifecta of evil being perpetrated over the last decade has certainly ratcheted up.  The list includes the radical homosexual agenda, radical Islam and pro-death to babies abortion.  Such ideas are preferred by the crazy left because they can throw it in with the poisonous stew contained in progressivism/socialism/communism/and totalitarianism types of governmental oppression in order to squelch what and especially Whom they really hate; namely - Jesus Christ and Him crucified.  They don't want any recognition of Christ as Redeemer because His Way points out the evil of all of their ways when it comes to living a good and Godly life on this earth.  Ultimately the salvation that Christ's death on the cross achieved for the forgiveness of sin (for those willing to accept Him)  and His subsequent Resurrection to life will determine where each person spends eternity.

The end times series of films which include the films Revelation and Judgment portray the Christians as "haters."  That is exactly the mantra that is being thrown out there by this awful BADministration, the media, Hollywood, some social websites, and most of the liberal schools, colleges, and universities.

It is no wonder that the minds of our young (which used to be called "a terrible thing to waste") have been indoctrinated into wrong and wasteful thinking that leads to contempt for those who follow God, believe in Christ, and study the wisdom and knowledge contained in the Bible.

The moment that Dr. Ben Carson was savaged by the progressive leftist lunatic fringe because he DARED to state his GOD GIVEN BELIEF that marriage is defined as the union of one man and one woman, I knew that he would continually be targeted for character assassination and destruction.

Just days ago, Hannity had an entire show where black conservatives gathered in a studio audience style conversation about racism against them and how they are hated, vilified, called names, disparaged, demonized and targeted by rabid leftists, their homo fascist friends and their ilk who can't stand anyone expressing their free speech rights  to believe in Conservative values, including the value that marriage is the union of one man and one woman.

Conservative thinkers have been warning...FOR YEARS...that the homosexual "progressives" who "just wanted equal rights" would one day turn against those who tolerate their nefarious activities and demand not only just tolerance or acceptance, but also demand  PUNISHMENT against those who disagree with their lifestyles.  Apparently, this has already happened in some Scandinavian countries were Christians (including Pastors!!)  are sued, dragged into court, and even jailed for preaching sermons from the Bible where the verses explain that homosexual behavior is sin and an abomination to God.

They wouldn't get away with such efforts in most Muslim countries!   Sharia Law would see fit to jail and even kill homosexuals (just like they jail and kill Christians; especially converts from Islam to Christianity)!  But I digress...

During a conversation with a rabid leftist who totally disparaged Dr. Carson in a former post about the world renowned surgeon, I had this to say:

I recently saw Dr. Carson's story on T.V. I have even more respect for him than ever! His discovery in how to remove portions of the brain to stop a girl's convulsions was heart warming! And, the 21 hour operation with teams of surgeons and nurses in order to achieve the separation of twins from Germany joined at the skull was absolutely awesome!

I think that your rabid leftist/progressive/socialist/communist ideology just won't let you see the truth and goodness about this man.

YOU are the hater!

YOU can't stand someone having the free speech right to outwardly say that marriage is (and should continue to be) the union between a man and a woman.

The indoctrination is from your side. Keeping blacks, Hispanics, and everyone else under the guise of "progressivism" is the new kind of slavery for these people. As long as they continue to vote "democrat" - that is all that matters to you and your ilk. 15% unemployment for blacks and 24% unemployment for young people is atrocious! And it's all because of ObaMARXIST and his terrible policies!

I feel sorry for you. You are so misguided in YOUR thinking that it is a sad, sad thing indeed.
 

All of the good that Dr. Carson has done over decades of dedication as a renowned neurosurgeon is being tossed to the curb because some students "feelings" were hurt.  What a sad thing has happened in our schools and universities due to the rabid leftist haters who can't stand or tolerate ANYONE who disagrees with their ideology!!  These places don't educate...they  purposefully INDOCTRINATE.  Students aren't allowed to think for themselves or engage in polite discourse with those who think differently than the "collective" which includes most teachers in public schools and professors in the colleges and universities.

I don't think that labeling such haters as homo fascists is too strong a title.  Sadly, it accurately describes them...indeed!

About That "Second Coming" Reference

Yesterday, I watched C-Span's pre-inaugural call-in show for about 15 minutes.  It was all I could stand.  The "pro-BHO" calls, newspaper articles, tweets etc. were running about 4-1 in favor of BHO compared to those presented in opposition.   I shouldn't be surprised.  Just like the rest of the media of mass corruption,  C-Span had long ago been taken over by the Commies!

One Republican caller stated that he would be cleaning out his attic instead of watching the spectacle of Marxist blathering that would be going on at the event.  Ha!  Time well spent!

I didn't listen to BHO's speech, but this morning, Fox News had a few clips and there was so much divisiveness in it!  It shows that the masquerade that BHO presented to the OBorgBots is no longer needed.  He can reveal his true evil self now.  Once again, it made me grieve for our nation.

Newsweek had a cover of a profile of BHO with "the second coming" written underneath. 

Know what?

 The BHO admiration society lemmings may not realize it now; but they just don't get how much more awful their destiny is about to become under the coming tyranny.

Believing that BHO is a "messiah" is so laughable. It is also very creepy! Most thinking people who haven't been hypnotized by this fraud already know what a communist and radical Islamist sympathizer he is!!

I haven't read the article that accompanies the Newsweek cover with BHO on it. However, I do think that the reference to the "second coming" of BHO (if compared to Jesus Christ) contains a not-so-hidden message from the far left lunatics that could be considered to be quite scary.

While reading a devotional this morning, a connection was made by me.

As Christian believers we "groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body" (See Romans 8:23)

This place is not our home.

Jesus told us that "in this world we will have trouble." We are strangers in a strange land, and the closer we get to the end times the more evident this becomes.

When we go back into the Old Testament, prophets had the pieces to the prophetic puzzle but they didn't always see the completed picture like Bible believing and studying Christians can, and do.

For example, when Jesus quoted from the book of Isaiah 61:1-2 in the synagogue in Nazareth (Luke 4:16-19), He quoted all the passage except the part about "the day of vengeance of our God" since that would be fulfilled at His Second Coming, not His first. Isaiah saw both parts of the Messiah's ministry--good news and judgment--but didn't see the separation between the two.

Fortunately, we have the advantage of hindsight of both the Old and New Testaments of the Bible that gives us the completed picture. The full circle, if you will, of Jesus Christ is that He was first  born into this world to give us a life that's forgiven, and raised to give us a life that's forever.

His body was sown perishable, but was raised imperishable.

It was sown in dishonor, but was raised in glory.

It was sown in weakness but raised in power.

I would venture to say that BHO's first political "coming" as pResident in 2008 was the complete opposite.

He was born to eventually be ushered in as a tyrannical leader and give America a life that's divisive between white vs. black, rich vs. poor, Christian vs. Muslim, Jewish vs. Muslim, liberal vs. conservative, moral vs. immoral, and ultimately extremely harmful towards what our Founders envisioned.  His political "second coming" will be more of the same, but even worse!  The vengeance of BHO (which was a favorite topic in his campaign speeches) against Americans he disagrees with has not even begun!

BHO is virulently destructive to our U.S. Constitution. He tramples upon it and disregards the fact that our nation was born as a Judeo/Christian one; and our Declaration of Independence was written as a result of the Founders desire to follow the Ten Commandments in the Bible.

If the left wants to think of BHO as their "messiah," how terribly disappointed they will be when they finally realize that BHO's body, mind, soul, and spirit was sown perishable (and remains that way unless he repents of his sins and turns from his reprobate mindset) and his ideology is "nothing new under the sun" but a throw-back to tyrants of death from history.   He will use them, then dispose of them when their useful-idiot status is no longer needed.

BHO was raised into the political world in secular humanistic "glory" (which never lasts) but will one day be sown in eternal dishonor.

BHO appears to have been raised into the political world of secular humanism in power, but will one day be sown into an ultimate, never-ending hell of weakness.

BHO will inevitably one day be raised imperishable in order to face judgment. The trouble is, without genuine belief in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, BHO will join all of those who out rightly reject Jesus Christ and will appear at the White Throne Judgment. It is a judgment where each sinner who has died has done so with their own sins on their soul. Spending eternity in separation from God leaves a person vulnerable to the pain of experiencing death that never ends. Recall the story of Lazarus and the rich king.

 Only the born again believers in Christ will face the Judgment Seat of Christ and be able to say that belief in Christ's sacrificial death and His forgiveness for their sins has saved them from the judgment of eternal hell fire. Because of Christ's sacrifice, we can claim the words of the hymnist as our own:

 "Living, He loved me; dying He saved me; buried He carried my sins far away; rising He justified freely forever; one day He's coming--O glorious day" (Wilber Chapman, 1908).

In another prophetic portion of Scripture from the Old Testament, we read in Numbers 24:17 -

I see Him, but not now; I behold Him, but not near; a Star shall come out of Jacob; a Scepter shall rise out of Israel...

Dr. David Jeremiah writes:

Jesus is called a "Star" three times in Scripture. In Numbers 24, Balaam predicted a Messiah in the far future, rising like a star from the descendants of Jacob. Second Peter 1:19 talks about the Morning Star rising in our hearts. And in Revelation 22:16, Jesus called Himself "the Bright and Morning Star."

In astronomy, the bright and morning star is not literally a star, but the planet Venus that appears in the eastern sky just before dawn and is one of the brightest objects in the sky.  The sight of this "star" is a sign that night is nearly over.

It's symbolic of Christ.  The dark epoch of earth's history is nearly past.  Soon the Lord will rise from His throne like the Star of Morning, ushering in an eternal day for His children.  Just as He came the first time, so He will come again.  And we "do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your heart"  (2 Peter 1:19).

In 2013: America, If You Don’t Learn Your History, You Will Be Damned To Repeat It!

Last evening, I forced myself (mostly because I can't stand Barbra Streisand!)  to watch the 1973 movie, "The Way We Were."   I recall seeing the movie back in the 70's, but at the time, I was not really interested in Katie's (Streisand character) political activism.  Back then, I was more interested in the romance between the two main characters.  However, as the IMDb website points out it was also about Katie's communist political convictions: Two desperate people have a wonderful romance, but their political views and convictions drive them apart.

What I want to concentrate on in this post is the fact that long ago, it was evident that Hollyweird's early leftist leanings were destined to one day reveal it's full-blown socialist/communist approval. What the movie critics and commentators don't mention about the film, is the spin that was placed upon Katie's communist leanings. I found it really disgusting to see the posters of Communist murderer Stalin in many scenes within the movie. Consider that 1973 was not as far removed from the years of Stalin's terrorist dictatorship (when millions were killed) as perhaps the current year of 2012. Too bad that many of those who apparently objected to (or even mocked) "the Red Scare" back then, (and hated McCarthy's exposure of communist infiltration here in the U.S.), didn't see this facetiously titled "Tribute to Communism."

It was comical to see Katie call Hubbell (Robert Redford's character in movie) a "Fascist" at one point.  Being Jewish apparently made her an enemy of Hitler, but not an enemy of Stalin?  As a writer at IMDb points out,

"The era in which these two characters were set was a very interesting time in American history, and the characters' actions during these times created some compelling cinema, particularly when it touched on the Red Scare."

The "Red Scare"??  Well, perhaps We The People should have been paying more attention to that "red scare" of communism because now, most of our government is being run by them!  [But don't take my word for it...see all the links with incriminating evidence at the right top sidebar at CommieBlaster.com.]

We can see the commie/Islamist supporting dictatorship developing at the fastest rate ever;  right before our very eyes here in America under BHO,  his nasty, nefarious handlers, and clueless "you die last" Borg-Bot minions!  [Note the man in the Che RED shirt in photo below.  It was a picture taken in San Francisco years ago at an anti-Israel, anti-Bush rally during the Bush Administration].

 They are all heavily, and relentlessly, working on negating the First and Second amendments to the U.S. Constitution.  I will give just two examples (there are THOUSANDS of examples - just go check out all the links at Commieblaster).

Kathleen Sebelius, the Obama administration is claiming that the First Amendment—which expressly denies the government the authority to prohibit the “free exercise” of religion—nonetheless allows it to force Christians to directly violate their religious beliefs even on a matter that involves the life and death of innocent human beings.

Because federal judges—including Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor—have refused to grant an injunction protecting the owners of Hobby Lobby from being forced to act against their Christian faith, those owners will be subject to federal fines of up to $1.3 million per day starting Tuesday for refusing to include abortion-inducing drugs in their employee health plan.

The Obama administration is making a two-fold argument for why it can force Christians to act against their faith in complying with the regulation it has issued under the Obamacare law that requires virtually all health care plans to cover, without co-pay, sterilizations, contraceptives, and abortion-inducing drugs.

The first argument the administration makes against the owners of Hobby Lobby is that Americans lose their First Amendment right to freely exercise their religion when they form a corporation and engage in commerce. A person’s Christianity, the administration argues, cannot be carried out through activities he engages in through an incorporated business.

“Hobby Lobby is a for-profit, secular employer, and a secular entity by definition does not exercise religion,” said Acting Assistant Attorney General Stuart Delery in a filing submitted in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma.

“Because Hobby Lobby is a secular employer, it is not entitled to the protections of the Free Exercise Clause or RFRA [the Religious Freedom Restoration Act],” Delery told the court on behalf of the administration. “This is because, although the First Amendment freedoms of speech and association are ‘right[s] enjoyed by religious and secular groups alike,’ the Free Exercise Clause ‘gives special solicitude to the rights of religious organizations.’”

In keeping with Delery’s argument, the Washington Post, as a corporation, can use its First Amendment-protected freedom of speech to write editorials in support of the Obama administration imposing its contraception mandate on businesses like Hobby Lobby. But the members of the family that created and owns Hobby Lobby, because they formed Hobby Lobby as a corporation, have no First Amendment freedom of religion that protects them from being forced by the government to act against their religious beliefs in providing abortion-inducing drugs.

The second argument the administration makes to justify forcing Christians to act against their faith is more sweeping. Here the administration argues it can force a person to act against his religion so long as the coercion is done under the authority of a law that is neutral and generally applicable—in other words, as long as the law was not written specifically to persecute Christians as Christians, the government can use that law to persecute Christians.

The pretext: Massacre of the innocents – Newtown, Conn.

I am a professor at a wonderful online school called National Paralegal College (NPC). Shannon Southard, a student there recently raised some very prescient questions on the issue of gun control:

Seems that almost every shooting that has made national headlines recently has involved a shooter suffering from one form or mental issues or another. We had two tragic shootings this week – one in a crowded mall another in an elementary school. Not to mention the awful shooting earlier this year at the movie theater. … Who should be blamed for these individuals being able to commit such heinous acts – lawmakers for allowing access to weapons, mental health professionals for possibly not treating appropriately, society for turning their backs on them?
 

This prompted fellow NPC student, Kathryn Dunigan to remark, “Almost all the mass shooters over the past 20 years, including the ones at Columbine and the Aurora Theater were on mind altering psychiatric drugs. Is gun control really the national conversation we need, or is [it] medication control?”


This comment prompted my response to Kathryn:

Don’t take the easy (unconstitutional) way out. … I want you to reconsider your remarks in light of constitutional history. If you follow Obama’s and the Democratic Party path to disarm law-abiding citizens, then the criminals (who won’t obey any gun laws) will be emboldened to use gun violence without limits. Why? Because they will know that law-abiding citizens will be disarmed and easy prey for criminals to abuse We the People. When in doubt, always follow the Constitution.


I would invite you to read Dr. John Lott’s excellent book dispelling liberal assumptions on the correlation between the access of guns and the proliferation of gun violence. You can read a short analysis of Dr. Lott’s book, “More Guns, Less Crime.”


Note the level of vitriol in the academic community against his theories. Why? Because progressives understand that to effect and increase federal government hegemony and state-control throughout society, the Second Amendment must be repealed. Look at the history of all fascist societies from Robespierre and the Jacobins, the French Enlightenment, Germany’s Otto von Bismarck, to Lenin, Stalin, Hitler, Mao, Pol Pot, Franco, etc. The first thing these tyrants want to do as soon as they secured power was to disarm the public and make the STATE (e.g., the army, police, secret police, Gestapo, etc.) the only entity legally allowed to possess guns. Why? So the state can steal your unalienable (God-given) liberties and make you slaves of the Leviathan State. … In my opinion, President Obama has almost taken America to that abyss.

 

The Policy

The great Spanish philosopher George Santayana warned us decades ago: Those who cannot learn from history are doomed to repeat it. Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership (JPFO) is an organization dedicated to the preservation of gun rights in the United States and “to encourage Americans to understand and defend all of the Bill of Rights for everyone.” The group was founded by former firearms dealer Aaron S. Zelman in 1986. JPFO interprets the Second Amendment as recognizing a pre-existing natural right of individuals to keep and bear arms.


According to the comprehensive research by JPFO, all of America’s present gun-control laws have Nazi origins, evidenced by the group’s shocking accusation that the Gun Control Act of 1968 was plagiarized almost word for word from Nazi legislation. The German Weapons Law, which existed before the Nazis came to power in 1933, was amended on March 18, 1938, by the Nazi government. The JPFO’s claim is based in part by the fact that the 1968 law introduces the “sporting purpose” test to distinguish different types of weapons, similar to the “sporting purpose” test that existed in the German law in question. Sen. Thomas Joseph Dodd (father to Sen. Chris Dodd) was a prosecutor at the Nuremberg Trials (1945-46) and had reviewed copies of the Nazi 1938 firearms law as the 1968 Gun Control Act legislation was being drafted.


It is very probable that it was none other than Sen. Thomas Dodd who brought copies of the 1938 Nazi German Weapons Law, had that language literally translated and copied into America’s 1968 Gun Control Act which would explain why the two laws are almost identical. Newspaper Reveals Bias In Rejecting Letters-to-the-Editor

Via email, my friend Bing (Irv) sent me a copy of a letter-to-the-editor that was obviously rejected due to bias and disagreement with the content of the letter rather than for any reasonable, or truly logical basis or cause.

I thought that his letter was so spot on!  Therefore, I am sharing it with readers here at Talk Wisdom.

Included below the letter, are the lame excuses that the so-called assistant "editor" (more like an anti-Christian bigot!) wrote back explaining why Bing's letter was not published.

You will then read his great response, and her second (and STUPID!!) response.

The stomping on free speech by the liberal leftist lunatics of the media of mass deception and corruption is very obvious within the email letter exchange below!

I ran this letter by my editor, and he and I both agree that this is letter is making a theological argument and is not an opinion letter. Therefore, it violates our policy.

Over the weekend, Facebook took down a message by the Special Operations Speaks PAC (SOS) which highlighted the fact that Obama denied backup to the forces being overrun in Benghazi.


The message was contained in a meme which demonstrated how Obama had relied on the SEALS when he was ready to let them get Osama bin Laden, and how he had turned around and denied them when they called for backup on Sept 11.

I spoke with Larry Ward, president of Political Media, Inc — the media company that handles SOS postings and media production. Ward was the one who personally put the Navy SEAL meme up, and the one who received the warning from Facebook and an eventual 24 hour suspension from Facebook because Ward put the meme back up after Facebook told him to take it down.

Here’s what Ward told me:

We created and posted this meme on Saturday after news broke that Obama had known and denied SEALS the backup they requested.

Once the meme was up it garnered 30,000 shares, approx. 24,000 likes, and was read by hundreds of thousands of people — all within 24 hrs. On Sunday, I went into the SOS Facebook page to post something else and found a warning from Facebook that we had violated Facebook’s Statement of Rights and Responsibilities with our meme. So I copied the warning, put it on the meme as as caption, and re-posted the meme to the Facebook page.

Along with the re-posted meme, Ward put a link to the Facebook “feedback comment” inbox so visitors to the SOS page could send a message to Facebook if they were as outraged over the meme being jerked down as he was.

Ward said Facebook pulled the re-posted meme down within 7 or 8 hours and suspended the SOS account for 24 hours.

In other words, Facebook put the Navy SEALS in timeout in order to shield Obama.

It didn’t take long for many in the Muslim world to exploit the 9/11/12 attack in Benghazi by doing what the Obama administration did – they pointed to the Innocence of Muslims video. The video was being held up as an example of why it’s wrong to criticize anything Islam. We learned that before the attack, forces were already at work, plotting to call on international bodies as well as national governments to make any speech against or criticism of Islam a crime. At the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI), Egyptian President Mohamed Mursi called for restrictions on free speech.

The Obama administration pointed to the video as well. However, as the weeks have passed, a specific motive for doing so has been attributed to the administration. As the thinking goes, Obama and his team were using the video as an excuse so that the lack of security would not be exposed. It makes perfect sense. On October 19th, in a letter to Obama, Oversight Committee chairman Darrell Issa accused the administration of looking to “normalize” Libya despite an opposite reality on the ground. It’s become widely accepted that Obama, Hillary, et. al. wanted to use the video as a distraction and as an excuse.

This would necessarily mean that Islamists and the administration had adopted the same narrative but for different reasons.

Charles Woods, the father of Tyrone Woods, may have called that entire premise into question when he called in to the Lars Larson show on October 24th. In describing his visit with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton when the casket of his son and three other Americans arrived in at Andrews Air Force Base three days after their deaths.

Take note of what Charles says he was told by Hillary Clinton, beginning at the 6:15 mark (h/t Gather):

“We’re going to have that person arrested and prosecuted that did the video.”

If Hillary told Charles Woods that the filmmaker would be prosecuted, it meant that she was interested in criminalizing criticism of Islam as well. That would be a direct attack on the first amendment, which is something even the Obama administration is not yet willing to be seen as doing. Obama himself, in a PSA for Pakistan in which he appeared with Hillary, wouldn’t go that far publicly, saying there was “no justification for this senseless violence… none”. Again, Hillary accentuated the assertion that the “United States Government had absolutely nothing to do with this video” (I have always been intrigued by how adamantly she has stated that).

G. Beck: American People Are Being Set Up

After viewing Glenn's analysis, I thought about an interview of Paul Wolfowitz that I had seen on Fox News back on September 21st.  At the time I heard Mr. Wolfowitz share information that was not widely known (or even covered by the media of mass deception)  I felt the alarm bells ring in my mind regarding the mistakes made by the Obama administration amidst the Arab Spring uprisings.

Please see the interview on Megyn Kelly's Fox News show where former U.S. Deputy Secretary of Defense Paul Wolfowitz reacts and answers the question: "Where does US foreign policy stand in the Middle East?"

The video at the link (above) is 8:30 minutes long and I recommend seeing it in its entirety.  But notice what Mr. Wolfowitz says starting at @ 4:00 minutes into the video regarding what happened during the Arab Spring:

"The people fighting for the most part were people who were fighting for freedom.  But the freedom has, unfortunately, been for the bad actors to try and take over as well.  In Libya, it's very important to emphasize that the viewers may not know because this doesn't get covered.  Back in July, they had an election.  The Libyan people voted for the first time in over 40 years, and the Muslim Brotherhood came in a distant second.  These extremists who seem to be behind these attacks, the so-called Solophies* (sp?) didn't even show.  But they have the guns and one of the reasons why they have the guns and not people with any more reasonable outlook is because the United States, having rescued Benghazi with our air attacks and then decided to leave the weapons supply with other people who don't share our interests or our values.  Same thing is happening in Syria today."

Let's read the very important portion again -

Weapons were left in Libya for people who don't share our interests or our values. The same thing is happening in Syria today.
 

The rest of the interview is excellent as well!  However, the portion of the Wolfowitz interview that I have highlighted here gives credence and credibility to what Glenn Beck said about possibly why Ambassador Stevens, the Navy Seals, and the other American civilian were sent there - to try and create a CIA operation to get the weapons back from the Islamic terrorists what were armed during the botched "Arab Spring" events.

Atheists' and Muslims' Cross to Bear

While America mourned the 11th anniversary of the Islamic attacks on Sept. 11, 2001, atheist radicals were throwing fuel on the fire. While millions were praying for the friends and families of precious souls lost, self-styled “progressives” were preying upon the most significant symbol of hope to which many of the grieving clung.

The 17-foot steel-beam cross, found amid the rubble of the once towering World Trade Center, is at the center of a lawsuit filed by the American Atheists Foundation. While nearly the entire 9/11 memorial site remains purely secular in nature, these secular absolutists complain of unequal representation. Such a bizarre measure of inequality could arise solely in the blinded mind of a "free-thinking" relativist.

Fortunately, these Christ-hating heathens don’t have a legal leg upon which to be hopping mad. In cases like Abington v. Schempp, the U.S. Supreme Court has noted repeatedly that "religion has been closely identified with our history and government."

In fact, the high court ruled explicitly in Lynch v. Donnelly that religious elements within a larger government display are perfectly constitutional where both a religious and a "secular purpose" are represented. There could be no better example than the case at hand.

The relic cross was dedicated to the World Trade Center Memorial. Workers, volunteers, indeed most of America, saw it as a profound symbol of hope after it was discovered amongst the debris. The cross, which many believe miraculous, brought tremendous comfort to those who lost loved ones in the cowardly, Islamo-fascist attacks.

American Atheists' complaint reads like a bad joke. The group’s president, David Silverman, insists that he and his fellow God-deniers are experiencing debilitating physical reactions from simply witnessing the rubble cross. Such reactions allegedly include “inter alia, dyspepsia, symptoms of depression, headaches, anxiety, and mental pain and anguish."

These materialist martyrs complain that the cross makes them "feel officially excluded from the ranks of citizens who were directly injured by the 9/11 attack." (Well, cry me a river, princess. Suck it up and go see the school nurse.)

To be sure, our atheist flowers – like other living dead – are evidently so insecure in their lack of faith that the mere glimpse of a cross provokes a hiss, a dramatic cape-whirl-twirl and an abrupt retreat to the cold sanctuary of moonlit coffin (or Starbucks; whichever has Wi-Fi).

Am I trying to vilify David Silverman and his anti-Christian American Atheists? Not at all. I’d no sooner try to “milkify” milk. Actions define character. It’s at once both refreshing and instructive to see the godless left cast off its Apollyon mask.

Mat Staver, founder and chairman of the Liberty Counsel civil-rights firm, said of the case: "Atheist groups would like to see a total collapse of the free exercise of religion in America. The cross is a symbol of hope amidst the total destruction at Ground Zero. The lawsuit is further evidence of the war on Christianity in America. The 9/11 cross survived the terrorist attack by Muslim extremists, and it will survive the cultural attack by radical secularists."

Indeed, radical secularists' war on Christianity has reached biblical proportions. We saw it on full display at the Democratic National Convention. It was surreal. There, thousands of Democrats, with a unified voice, denied God three times and then booed His inclusion after shell-shocked party officials rammed Him back into the platform – this, despite an obviously failed voice vote. (The democratic process and the Democratic Party: Neither the twain shall meet.)

The uncanny symbolism was not lost on Joseph Farah, editor and CEO of WND: "It's reminiscent of the denials of Jesus by Simon Peter on the day He was arrested for a sham trial before the Sanhedrin," he wrote. "I didn't hear a cock crow at the Democratic convention, unless you count Bill Clinton's speech."

Benjamin Franklin once observed, "If men are so wicked with religion, what would they be without it?"

We know what we'd be. We're becoming it.

Yes, liberals' desperate attempts to secularize America and eradicate her rich, Judeo-Christian heritage must be vigorously combated. The left’s militant crusade to exorcise public recognition of God must not go unchallenged.

As Muslim radicals’ conduct murderous assaults on U.S. embassies around the world, secularist radicals are no less determined to kill freedom. There is, you see, a tie that binds. Both groups hate – with a visceral, all-consuming kind of hatred – the one true God. They hate all things Judeo-Christian.

But they also share a common goal. God-deniers want to destroy the America of our founding – the America of which George Washington said in his inaugural address: "The propitious smiles of Heaven can never be expected on a nation that disregards the eternal rules of order and right which Heaven itself has ordained."

Millions of Muslims, on the other hand, simply want to destroy America.

Pulpit Freedom Sunday - Coming October 7, 2012

In the comment section of my previous post, Last Ounce of Courage, GMpilot asked some questions regarding the freedom of Christians to speak out about their faith. You can read his comment here, as well as my response which is included below:

There are dozens of examples where an atheist/secularist etc. "complained" about any type of Christian display. Yet, the "free speech" of so-called "artists" who create a crucifix dipped in urine are protected by the ACLU and their ilk. What is wrong with that picture?

The creeping secularism started long ago, but was accelerated by a particular law signed by Lyndon Johnson that threatened to take away the tax exemption status of churches if pastors, preachers, and/or priests discuss political issues from the pulpit. THAT is a DIRECT offense against the 1st Amendment! But the churches didn't want to lose their tax exempt status, so they let the creeping secularism dictate to them what they could and could not do (or say).

There is a growing movement that has been happening over the past 3 (?) years (I think) where clergy ignore the "risk" and preach biblical principles - even if it involves political issues - from the pulpit. It is like they are proclaiming, "come and get us" to the IRS. You can read about Pulpit Freedom Sunday which is coming up on October 7, 2012. I chuckled when your [GM's] comment reminded me about the school play scene in the movie. What the school play director wanted the students to do in the play was absolutely hilarious! In fact, it was even mockingly funny. Don't want to give away too much information here because what ends up happening is one of the greatest moments in the movie.

People in the theatre cried, laughed, and cheered this movie. But knowing how you think, GM, you probably would not like it.

P.S. Christmas is not only a religious holiday, it is also a national holiday. Look up the facts. Hat tips to all links.

Last Ounce of Courage

Saw the movie Last Ounce of Courage today. I don't want to include any spoilers here, but I will say it was inspiring, encouraging,  and contained a really great message!! The description of the movie at the movie guide site link does not really do it justice. 

Click here at Stand U.S.A. to see a clip of the movie. That site has a better description.  Although the movie does concentrate on the issue of Christmas, it more about individuals taking a stand (no matter the cost) to protect our freedoms.

The fact that the issue of being able to freely celebrate Christmas or display Christian symbols in a town, outside your own home, at a soup kitchen, or even in a school play are several examples of how creeping secularism is attempting to destroy MANY of our freedoms, one by one. There are those who, though they are most affected by it all, unfortunately just sit and take it.

Great song at the end!  Gave me goosebumps!  I would highly recommend this movie. Bring some tissues. I plan to purchase and read the book, too.

More “Free-Speech” Sleight-of-Hand From Obama Regime

With all the news coverage on Hurricane Irene, it might be easy to miss one of the more recent sleight-of-hand tactics recently employed by the Obamafraud regime.


Recall the Fairness Doctrine. One commentator over at NewsBusters said it well:

The "Fairness Doctrine" has nothing to do with fairness. It is to protect the speech of radical minorities and overpower those who promote rational debate.

It has been pushed upon the American people since way back in 1949 by the progressive loonies who thought that Americans wouldn't notice their deceitful practices. To be brief, the Fairness Doctrine was a misnomer that claimed talk radio needed to be balanced by providing the same amount of lefty progressive commentators as there are right conservative commentators. It was imposed to ensure the broadcasters gave equal time to differing political opinions.

The trouble is, when implemented, the lefty talk shows had far fewer listeners than the conservative ones anyway! Many of the failed progressive radio shows were cancelled. Therefore, demanding that "equal time to differing political opinions" be imposed made the loony lefties think that they would get the upper hand in talk radio.


The Obama gangster government tried to instill this stupid doctrine, once again, earlier in the beginning of this regime. Didn't work. Too many people were on to them and prevented the FCC from implementing it again.


Fast forward to August, 2011. It was announced by the FCC (Federal Communications Commission) that the "the Fairness Doctrine is now officially dead." Sounds good, right? Not so fast! Take a look at this email letter I recently received that tells the truth of the matter:

More “free-speech” sleight-of-hand is coming from the Obama Administration. Early this week, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) announced they were doing away with what we have called the Censorship Doctrine - the so-called “Fairness” Doctrine. This federal doctrine, a relic from 1949, was imposed to ensure the broadcasters gave equal time to differing political opinions.

Great news, right? Not so fast . . .

According to Media Research Center founder Brent Bozell, the FCC “deserves one-handed applause” for the move. Before striking the politically volatile “Fairness Doctrine,” the FCC implemented rules of “localism,” “media diversity,” and a nebulous requirement to “serve the public interest.” All designed to empower the FCC to limit speech they don’t like.
As Brent points out, “the path to censor radio airwaves has been long paved through the back door.”

+ + Speech isn’t free if it’s under government control

The FCC is making a big deal about the repeal of the “Fairness Doctrine, because they have put other tools in place to accomplish the same goals. Among others, these tools are “localism” and “diversity.”

Christine, under the nefarious concept of localism, unelected and unaccountable statists at the FCC could in regulate how much time broadcasters must dedicate to so-called local issues (as defined by the FCC) – in effect limiting the amount of time they can give to programming their listeners want to hear.

Under government mandated “diversity” in station ownership, a station owner could have his application to renew his license denied for no reason other than there being a lack of minority owned stations in their listening area. Across the rest of the federal government the people working as affirmative action bean counters have consistently shown that their ultra left-wing belief system takes priority over the rule of law.

Generations of American soldiers, sailors and marines didn’t die so that the First Amendment could be repealed by overpaid government employees at the FCC. These regulations do not exist for their stated purpose. They exist only a sneaky means for leftists in the permanent federal bureaucracy to control what the American people can hear.

The threats of government control and censorship are alive and well in the U.S. The free speech rights of EVERY American are threatened -- not to mention the fate of political free speech on radio airwaves!

Liberals know that silencing us will help them to advance their socialist agenda -- unchallenged and under the radar.
