Many Americans have been astonished in the past week to learn of the government’s extraordinary ability to invade their privacy, but a caller told “The Savage Nation” radio show of his contract work for a global National Security Agency system during the administration of President George H.W. Bush more than 20 years ago that spied on citizens.

“John” in San Francisco told host Michael Savage he worked for one of the largest intelligence contractors in the world on a massive program known as Echelon that intercepted private and commercial communications.

To “get around the Constitution and laws,” he said, “they based the program out of another country, England.”

“They routed it back to the NSA building, which was 14 stories below the ground,” said John.
In his conversation with Savage, John didn’t name the contractor but revealed the company was based in Sunnyvale, Calif., which is the headquarters of Lockheed Martin Space Systems Co.
He said Echelon analysts used a computer program that scanned the communications for key words.
“They’re listening to everything,” he said. ” … They know what everybody does.”

John said his company “built satellites over there that can read the data on a dime.”

Savage noted that many people are saying, “If you’ve got nothing to hide, why should you be afraid of this?”

“But as Alexander Solzhenitsyn, the great Russian author, wrote,” Savage said, “Everyone is guilty of something or has something to conceal. All one has to do is look hard enough to find what it is.”
The European Parliament published a report of its investigation of Echelon in 2001, describing it as “a global system for the interception of private and commercial communications.”
It was originally created to monitor the military and diplomatic communications of the Soviet Union and its Eastern Bloc allies during the Cold War in the early 1960s.
Echelon was capable of interception and content inspection of telephone calls, fax, email and other data traffic globally.

Savage asked John his opinion of NSA leaker Edward Snowden, the NSA contractor who fled to Hong Kong after releasing classified information about comprehensive snooping by the U.S. government

“In plain English, I think he’s a hero,” John said.
“People need to know what’s going on.”

In what appeared to be corroboration of some of what Savage’s caller reported, Bloomberg reported its sources confirmed that thousands of technology, finance and manufacturing companies were exchanging “sensitive information” for “benefits” from the government.

Bloomberg’s four sources said Internet and telecommunications companies work with the National Security Agency, the Central Intelligence Agency, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the military.

Trickle Up Poverty

Before I get to Michael Savage's new book, I want to share a few stories and links that demonstrate why this book is so very important to read before the elections in both 2010 and 2012. So far, I have only read the review (link below) that appeared in The Washington Times, but it was enough to convince me that I need to read this book! I also recommend that every American read "Trickle Up Poverty!"

One of the best political bloggers on the Internet, Jim Hoft of Gateway Pundit, frequently begins his latest blog post about Obama by stated that he is unequivocally "THE WORST PRESIDENT EVER!" I totally concur! Jimmy Carter? You are now officially off the top of the heap when it comes to bad leaders of the United States of America. Will our nation make it through all of the bad legislation, awful policies, and damaging ideology of these Fabian Socialists?? Think I'm exaggerating? The good news is that Obamafraud HellCare is going to be challenged by several states in the courts across America. Thank God! If it had to be done legislatively when the new CONSERVATIVE REPUBLICAN MAJORITY in Congress gets sworn in in January, Obummer would have the audacity to veto it. This way, perhaps the legislation will be shut down by several states and then there will be a domino effect to get rid of it once and for all! I PRAY that this happens!

If not, I could posts links here all day! Unless you are mentally impaired by the insane progressive propaganda (recall Michael Savage's book - "Liberalism is a Mental Disorder") or are admittedly one of the harpies for the Fabian Socialists, you cannot POSSIBLY approve of what ObuMARXIST is doing to our country!!

I have not had the opportunity to listen to Michael Savage's radio show as often as I did in the past. However, I caught of portion of his call-in show yesterday. Listeners were calling in and stating that bookstores (namely, Borders) were hiding his current new bestseller (# 3 on NYT 's bestseller list) Trickle Up Poverty: Stopping Obama's Attack On Our Borders, Economy and Security in the back of the stores! The number three bestseller should be clearly displayed in the front of the store along with the other top five or ten books! Liberal/progressive bias is all around us, stinking up the joint with their dirty diaper mentality and pantie-waist attempts to block the American people from reading and learning the truth!

I do not agree with everything that Savage says or believes, but his books have been spot-on in evaluating the evil and exactly what is going on in the political circus in Washington D.C. - especially with it's new Fabian Socialist Islamo-Fascist dictator of a pResident - Obummer in office, his army of czars and his unholy trio alliance with PeLIARsi and ReDUNCE!

The other day, I heard Michael read Ted Nugent's "Trickle Up Poverty" book review which is posted over at The Washington Times website. Go read it! It is AWESOME!! I'm getting my copy of Trickle Up Poverty over at Costco this weekend!

The fact that Orly got in that Obama Sr. WAS NEVER A U.S. CITIZEN was key to her argument. The two "journalists" tried to mock her on air and the public isn't stupid. They will see through their smokescreen attempts to discredit Orly.

I think that it was good of Orly to scream back at them for their rudeness, mocking tone, and stupid questions (what the hell does Ann Coulter have to do with anything and why would these two liberal left lunatics take ANYTHING that Ann has to say as truth) - especially when they despise the "right" and Ann herself?

Orly got in the explanation about the newspaper announcements and the logical reason why Ann Dunham would want to "register the birth" in Hawaii - in order to avoid immigration status for her newborn son.

Orly did very well. People who view that video several times will see the utter hypocrisy and lies that the journalists tried to push during the interview.

The fact that an AOL survey said that 85% of the public want Obama to release his vault-length long form COLB is an awesome piece of information that got through in that video.

While I'm at it - let me wish a crappy birthday to Resident Obama tomorrow. Come clean you liar, cheat, imposter and usurper! Be a man for once and not a weasel who spends a million dollars and hides behind his high priced lawyers!

It's the garbage in garbage out data effect. If the birth registration was a fraud perpetrated by the grandmother, then those newspaper filings made by the HI Health Dept to those two newspapers (which was standard practice for all births registered) are therefore fraudulent evidence too. I told him the reason grandma did it was to get her new Kenyan born grandson U.S. citizenship, a valued and desirable thing to have even back then. And grandma in Hawaii was a shrewd lady and had lots of lawyer friends to tell her how easy it was to do. And since the Hawaiian laws were so lax it was easy for grandma to do it via a simple mail in form. No one from the Health Department ever checked the veracity of the facts for such filings by families registering birth occurring at home with no witnesses other than a family member. So over the course of the discussion with Willie, I told him, yes there is probably a birth registered for Obama in Hawaii, and thus a vital record of that false registration is there, but I did not believe that Obama was really born there based on the contradictory evidence in Kenya. And Obama does not want the original released because it does not show he was born in any hospital and that will dispute what Obama has been telling everyone. Thus the testimony in Kenya will gain more credibility if what Obama is saying happened in Hawaii does not check out via the original birth registration documents. Willie got it. It sunk in. At the end of my segment with Willie he says he's converting to a Birther. Maybe Willie will pass on what he's learned to Hannity and some of his other talk radio friends.
