Bolton: America Discredited Until We Get "A Real President"

Many people in my life agreed way back in 2008 that if Obama got into the office of the presidency, it would be an absolute disaster!   However, I recall one person asking me, "Is there anything good that you could say about him?"  I had to think for a bit, but then I said, "He seems to be a good father." 

I used the word "seems" because I don't know much about how he genuinely conducts himself as a father.  All I have to go by is the image he portrays when filmed or photographed with his daughters.  The media of mass deception will always paint a rosy picture of this man no matter what he does.

All the hype that surrounded this man when he was touted as a "smart and intellectual" Constitutional scholar didn't matter to me.  All of his radical leftist ideology certainly trumped any supposition that his supposedly "brilliant IQ" (Was this even ever measured?  After all, he has hidden and sealed his college transcripts!) would make him into an individual that I could ever support to hold the office.  His radical views on abortion are absolutely sickening!

Personally, I think that he is just a puppet whose strings are being pulled by the "powers that be" who have the dual ultimate goals of destroying America and Israel. 

That being said, I want to share a comment attributed to Benjamin Franklin in the "Maturing With Grace" section of a book of wisdom written by Dr. David Jeremiah called "Moments With God on Route 66."

Benjamin Franklin commented about a man who was so learned that he knew the word for "horse" in nine different languages, but so unlearned that he bought a cow to ride on.  Mr. Franklin often used proverbial language to make his point, and here I think the point is the difference between education and true knowledge, or wisdom.

And that point applies to the Christian life as well.  We can know the facts of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, but if we aren't applying the Bible to our lives, we have missed the whole point--we gain knowledge but lack wisdom.

Borrowing those words of wisdom from Benjamin Franklin - I state the obvious to America.   Figuratively speaking, with Obama's first and second election,  we bought a cow (twice!) to ride on.

We are seeing more and more evidence of so-called "intellectual" knowledge in individuals chosen to serve in this current administration who just don't have the wisdom to lead.  Of course, we can start with Obama himself! 

The extreme disaster that I call "ObamaSCARE HELLcare" is now being exposed for all of it's awful faults as each attempt to implement this terrible law fails one right after the other!  The clueless Dems in Congress bought another cow to ride on and egregiously, We The People are suffering because of it!

Journalists are writing about Obama's irrelevancy.

 They are describing the ineptitude of certain appointees who really should NEVER have been given the jobs that they currently occupy!

Notice that I haven't even gone into the depths of evil  and depravity that lurks in and around this BADministration!

Former Ambassador to the United Nations, John Bolton (under President George W. Bush) said exactly what needs to be said, and understood by the American people and the world:

Turn Towards God's Guidance in All Things

People are getting more worried, upset, nervous, disgusted, angry, frustrated and downright scared and terrified about the out-of-control, immoral, scandalous, egregiously evil government in Washington D.C. than I have ever seen in my lifetime.  Those with blinders on to the evils of Obama and his handlers think that their "loyalty" to him will beget them more "goodies" of dependency from the government.  But we all know the old saying, "what the government gives...it can take away."  And, we are seeing the alarming results of such actions right now.  Our rights are disappearing one by one.  From the taking away of the White House visitations to the reduction of equipment and personnel in our military, we are seeing how awful the evil mindset of this BADministration really is.  The extravagantly expensive vacations that the Obamas take show their "don't care" attitudes towards the suffering.  Those who caught on too late and voted for a repeat of the mess of the last 4 years are now realizing their mistakes.  We need to welcome them into the fold of conservative, constitutional, liberty loving freedom and one of the best ways to do this is by sharing genuine Christian faith and ideals.

Over at the TEA Party Community, a member with a screen name that starts with "Angry" (how apropos) wrote a post where he was seeking answers for battling the Obama Agenda 21 train wreck that is happening here in America, but as you will see in some brief quotes that included in my comment, he absolutely rejects any "religious" ideas.


Update:  my comment was deleted from the thread!  He wrote that religious arguments "aren't going to happen."

I wrote:

So, because of the "religious" content you summarily discard the other solutions I had included in the comment posted? Are you familiar with the book "Alinsky Rules for Radicals"? Did you know that Obama and his ilk are using such "rules" to divide, disparage, and cause hatred among Americans on purpose in order to get us "warring against" each other? Do you know anything about the Cloward and Piven method of orchestrated crisis - which is also being used against us? Did you dislike my quote from Albert Einstein, "The significant problems we face cannot be solved at the same level of thinking we were at when we created them" and how going to war against this regime (and each other) goes against Einstein's logic in that quote?

From what I have read in your post, Angry, you are seeking counsel, solutions, wisdom and possibly a plan to defeat the evil that we are currently facing.  Warning:  "religious" comments ahead.

The Book of Proverbs tells us, "The way of a fool is right in his own eyes."  In other words, a fool is a person who refuses to heed the moral advice of those who are wiser.  A fool does what he wants in spite of the pain it causes him and others.  I see this Proverb becoming more of a reality with each passing year.  The "low-information" voters combined with the voter fraud, corruption, deceit, evil government plans to increase sins like abortion, homosexuality, wars, rumors of wars, false-flag operations (I could list 100 examples) are more than just foolish things being done.  From the Bible's perspective, the fool is a person (or persons, collectively) who REFUSE to listen to God's counsel or warnings.  But the wise person is the one who submits his reasoning to God.  You see, we need to discover "God's thoughts" via the Bible for the correct direction in this life.

Now, for a more "secular" idea of a solution, Albert Einstein said, "The significant problems we face cannot be solved at the same level of thinking we were at when we created them."  That makes sense - kind of like "thinking out of the box."  However, the apostle Paul wrote that God is able to provide solutions and answers in life that are beyond what we might think of on our own.  He is the great problem solver and the ultimate solution in this life.

James 1:5 says if we lack wisdom, we should ask God for it - then believe that He will provide

The opinions on this thread (haven't read them yet) are probably wide and variable.  Someone once said that the person who doesn't care what others think is usually found at one of two places:  the top of the ladder or the bottom.  That is what we are seeing in this current Obama Borg
Bot "attach to the collective and attack those who disagree"  world. The elitists in government (and, it infects MANY of them) reject wise counsel and thus hoist calamities on those who do.  Proverbs instructs us that when we are considering what others think, make sure you listen hardest to God.  Hundreds of thousands of voters here in America need to re-learn this.

How many are willing to follow God's leading on this issue?  The author here stated that he "didn't want a fight to see who believes in God the most and who does or who doesn't agree with who's beliefs."  Further, he wrote, "This thread is not about religion, it is about ways to fix our country..."

So you see, he has already rejected my thoughts found via the Bible because in his opinion, they are not needed or helpful.

Well, I disagree.

 I trust in the Lord with all my heart and do not depend on my own understanding.  In all my ways I acknowledge Him and He will direct my (your, our) paths.

Starting another civil war here in America is what the liberals/progressives/socialists/commies/Islamo-fascists want!  Please read Alinsky's Rules of Radicals and the Cloward Piven method of orchestrated crisis.  We should do THE DIRECT OPPOSITE of these evil "techniques" and calmly face and fight against those who oppose us so that more people who are now realizing the mistake of electing and re-electing Obama and his ilk will reject their marketing of evil methods being inflicted upon our nation and turn towards God's guidance in all things.  He alone offers genuine hope - and provides the only solution:  "Hope in God; for I shall yet praise Him" for His help (Psalm 43:5).

God's Route 66

Many years ago, I was a teacher at an elementary school back east.  For about 2 1/2 years, I taught physical education, health and safety for grades K-5.  Part of the safety curriculum included a Disney created cartoon series starring the little character of Jiminy Cricket who would begin each safety message singing:

"Oh...I'm no fool, no sirree, I want to live to be 93!  I play safe for you and me 'cause I'm no fool."

Of course, those films dealt with physical and mental safety; and how not being foolish with our every day activities can help us avoid injury or even death.  But there is also a need within our souls to realize that avoidance of moral, emotional and spiritual foolishness is equally, if not even more important!

I thought of these films today while reading a little book called "Moments With God On Route 66" by Dr. David Jeremiah.

On the page discussing the virtues of  "counsel," Dr. Jeremiah writes:

"We hear the words "fool" and "foolish" often enough that it is easy to lose sight of their true meaning."

But before I continue with the message, I wanted to explain what this particular book is all about.

On the back cover, we find out:

I was young when that show aired, so I don't remember much about it.   But I do recall hearing that it was a very popular series at the time for young adults.  If you are interested in learning more, read a recent article at AV Club: Why the mostly forgotten Route 66 was one of TV’s most ambitious shows. The article includes a few film clips too.

One sentence from the article intrigued me and I'd like to view the episode:

The series even featured future stars in smaller parts, as when Ed Asner played a young Jewish boy’s father, who later died and kicked off a crisis of faith in the boy.

Getting back to the subject of counsel.

There are many Bible verses discussing and warning about "the way of the fool."   We would be wise to heed such warnings.

Why Did God Allow Obama to be Re-elected?

A Christian writer over at News In Faith asks, and then answers the question, "why did God allow Obama to be re-elected?"

Excerpt:

Most conservatives have been scratching their heads over this question since  the November elections. Christians have wondered why God would allow such a  traitorous and tyrannical administration to continue. I, myself, have put a lot  of thought into this and asked “why” so many times. Here are some of the answers  I have come up with.

When one looks at history we can see how God has turned rebellious nations  and people over to the enemy to chastise. In the Old Testament we see how after  Israel rebelled against God and began worshipping false gods they were captured  by the Babylonians. There are many examples like this in the Bible.

Now in America we see Christians being persecuted through various means.  Christian businesses are forced to either go against their consciences to buy  insurance that pays for abortificants or be fined. So they face either complying  with evil or risk their businesses. Recently we have discovered the IRS has  targeted Christian, Jewish, and conservative groups and businesses to either  audit them or make it extremely difficult for them to apply for or receive 501C  tax exempt forms. It has resulted in many of them being unable to raise enough  money to help Conservative candidates run effective campaigns. Many believe this  may have been the reason for our losses in the 2012 elections. Whether this is  the case or not, it isn’t difficult to see that we have been in a huge battle  for our nation. So what am I saying here?

Sometimes God allows things to get so bad that people start to seek the  truth. Would they have discovered it had Romney been elected and the Republicans  taken over the Senate? I sincerely doubt it and this is why I say that. If you  put a frog in cold water and gradually turn up the heat it will cook to death. I  believe this is what has been happening all along even when the Republicans  controlled the White House and Congress. Did they solve the problems we faced  back then? I have to say a resounding “NO” to that question. The only difference  is that things didn’t digress as rapidly then. This is why I believe God is  working in a way that will cause people to wake up and see that the government  isn’t the answer to their problems. He wants them to see that He is the only  solution to everything.

Because of people’s blindness, God did the only thing He could to wake people  up. He allowed Obama to get re-elected. He knew that this administration’s  radical attempts to change the nation would begin to shock people. You see,  people’s basic desires, whether conservative or liberal, is to maintain their  liberties. The way it was before nobody even noticed that they were losing their  freedoms because it was so gradual. Then suddenly things began to happen. People  began to see huge hikes in their health insurance because of Obamacare. The  Catholic Church and Christian businesses were being threatened with massive  fines if they didn’t buy health insurance that paid for abortificants. They saw  people being harassed and threatened by the IRS. Even liberals hate threats to  liberty even when it is happening to conservatives. There is an intrinsic  built-in mechanism in every person’s nature that causes them to feel intimidated  when they see people’s freedoms being taken away. They begin to fear that they  will be next. This is why we are seeing these three things starting to take  place today.

Just think about all of the places (public schools, most colleges and universities, public buildings, media, government, military etc.) where progressive/socialist/communist radicals achieved kicking God out of the culture.  Next,  add in the liberal apostate churches that kicked Jesus (and Him crucified as the Gospel truth) out of their messages and replaced it with moral relativism that advocates abortion and homosexuality as "normal, natural and desirable"; and we shall realize just how easy it was for them to eliminate Him and His absolute truth, wisdom, knowledge, morals,  and values; thus taking out the grace and mercy for salvation through Jesus Christ from the public square. 

Of course, that is what they THINK they have done.  God is still in control!   However in this life, we reap what we sow.

Speaking of the brain,  Solomon was granted wisdom from God, thus:

"And men of all nations, from all the kings of the earth who had heard of his wisdom, came to hear the wisdom of Solomon." - 1Ki 4:34

  

How can wisdom be measured?  I think that it is particularly evident in those who read, study, meditate on, share, memorize, preach, exhort, and learn Scripture.  Man's wisdom could never compare to the wisdom and knowledge of God!

The Bible is THE greatest book ever written.  It is the God-breathed message to all men,  via all of the writers of the books in the Bible who were each carried along by the Holy Spirit of God as they wrote down Scripture.  There are many benefits to reading the Bible.  And, it serves as a great respite from all the chaos going on in this deceptive, sinful, and destructive world of immorality and relativistic havoc!

Phl 4:8   Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.

Something To Strive For

I have made it a habit to record most of the shows that I watch in order to keep up on the latest news.  That way I can fast forward whenever Obama is mentioned (or droning on about the same propagandist rhetoric) or when a liberal is ranting on and on about insignificant things.  Using the DVR prevents wasted time and brings forth the joy of not having to listen to all of the commercials.  Today on The Five, Greg Gutfeld said something that I found quite amusing!  He was commenting on the latest Lindsey Lohan scandal and the strange idea to have Lohan as a "motivational speaker" for young girls, and suggested that Lindsey and Dana (Perino - one of the co-hosts of the show) should do their own reality show.  Then he added:

"It would be like Goofus and Gallant from the Highlights magazine."

I don't even know if that magazine is still in circulation, but I remember reading it as a kid while sitting in the waiting room for my dental and doctor appointments.  That magazine was always there!

Well, according to a Chicago Tribune article, Highlights magazine celebrated it's 60th year back in 2006.

Getting back to Gutfeld's point.

In today's world, individuals like the very troubled Lindsey Lohan are a far cry from anything that Goofus (the "bad" guy) ever did in those magazine stories. And, as the author of the Chicago Tribune article points out:

"We couldn't have Gallant without Goofus," said Highlights Editor Kent Brown, a grandson of the founders and, he proudly claims, the inspiration for Goofus. "Without Goofus, Gallant would be bland and no one would pay attention. But kids see parts of themselves in both characters. No one is as good as Gallant, and no one is as bad as Goofus. But being more like Gallant is something to strive for."
 

Dana Perino represents one of the best of her generation.  She is more like the "Gallant"  character  and should be commended for living a life of integrity, honesty, civility, wisdom, knowledge and unapologetic conservatism; even though some have mocked her for being on Fox News and others have verbally attacked her relentlessly when she worked for the Bush Administration.

Someone else who recently made headlines after his speech at the National Prayer Breakfast also fits in with the Gallant character quite well -  Dr. Benjamin Carson. That's great advice for today's youth.  BE SOMEONE who shows that he or she has the demeanor, goals, aspiration and capabilities necessary in order to have something to strive for.  Be the kind of good person that others will look up to and be that "someone" that others should strive to emulate.

Deception Can Cause Many to Suffer


The Bible has a lot to say about deception.  This post will not be totally comprehensive about the subject of deception and/or deceiving people.  However, it will give us some insight into the machinations of this type of evil and what it tragically often leads to in this fallen world.

Deceit (a.k.a. dishonesty, lying, tricking) is a tool used by people in order to accomplish certain outcomes in which they desire to reap power, monetary gain, fame, tyranny over others, and a whole host of other reasons.  The ability to "get away with it" in a world of disinformation runs rampant.  People don't know what to believe anymore.  They are so conditioned to believe what they are told on the news.  But, what if the "news" being reported is not the truth?  What if many are being told to lie to us?  What if they are "programmed" to trick us into believing even the most bizarre event(s) ever seen by mankind; just because the ignorant and uninformed continue to trust them? 

People who are propped up as being "dignified" and "above the fray" are often the very same individuals who deceive the most.  Getting away with dishonesty is easy when so many others are either mesmerized by a popular (but deceptive) individual and thus miss the fact that such a popular person is actually complicit in the lies being perpetrated.

The Bible informs us just who is called the deceiver.

Read Revelation 12:1-9.

 However, the key Bible verse is:

This great dragon--the ancient serpent called the Devil, or Satan, the one deceiving the whole world--was thrown down to the earth with all his angels.  (Revelation 12:9)

We can see that the Bible describes Satan as the deceiver.  The devil is not some cartoon character or made up entity.  He was originally an angel of God whose pride made him corrupt.  The name Satan means "adversary" or "accuser" (12:10).

As 1 Peter 5:8-9 informs us, Satan actively looks for people to attack.  He especially likes to seek out believers who may be young in the faith, vulnerable in some way, or not involved in fellowship with other believers.

Despite the fact that God allows (due to Adam and Eve's choice to do evil in the Garden of Eden) the devil to do his work in the world, God is still in control.

Nonbelievers often try and mock Christians for their beliefs.  They hate Christ and try to diminish the fact that Jesus has complete power over Satan.  This was demonstrated during Christ's three year ministry on the earth.  Scripture tells us that when Jesus was tempted by Satan, Christ used Scripture to send him away.  Only the Word of God was needed to make Satan flee!!   That is an important fact to remember! 

You may or may not know (or believe) that when Jesus died for the sins of mankind and rose from the dead, it was at that moment that Satan's future was doomed and Jesus has the keys to heaven where he goes to create mansions in eternity for believers.  Revelation 20:10 tells us that one day Satan will be bound forever, never again to do his evil work. (1)

Next, read John 8:42-47. 

The key Bible verse:

You are the children of your father the Devil, and you love to do the evil things he does.  He was a murderer from the beginning and has always hated the truth.  There is no truth in him.  When he lies, it is consistent with his character; for he is a liar and the father of lies.  (John 8:44)

[Notice that] Jesus called Satan the father of lies.  The attitudes and actions of these leaders clearly identified them as follower of Satan.  They may not have been conscious of this, but their hatred of truth, their lies, and their murderous intentions indicated how much control the devil had over them.  They were his tools in carrying out his plans; they spoke the very same language of lies.  Satan still uses people to obstruct God's work (Genesis 4:8; Romans 5:12; 1 John 3:12). (2)

From the John 8:44 verse, we learn that lying "is consistent with his (the Devil's) character."  Satan was "a murderer from the beginning and has always hated the truth."  There is "no truth in him."  What's even more disturbing is the realization that the "children of your father, the Devil, love to do the evil things he does."

The Devil can have much control over the unsaved.  They can become "his tools in carrying out his plans."  They speak "the very same language of lies."  Also, see the Bible verses that describe how Satan uses people to obstruct God's work.

No wonder Jesus told us that He is the truth! Christ informs us that God's Word is Truth!   And the "truth will set you (us) free!"

People will lie, deceive, hurt and murder others because they hate the truth (Jesus Christ).  There is no truth in them, and they LOVE to do the evil things that Satan does.

I don't know about you, dear reader, but when I see what is going on in this world of lies, deceit, sin, evil and death, I sometimes shake my head in disbelief that others don't recognize that they are being lied to and so heavily deceived!!  However, when I delve back into God's Word, I realize that we have been warned of this.  Deception is exponentially getting worse because we are heading closer and closer towards the end times.

So, we might ask what happens when we deceive others?

Bible reading:  Luke 8:16-18

Key Bible verse:

Everything that is hidden or secret will eventually be brought to light and made plain to all. (Luke 8:17)

Sometimes this happens immediately.  People like Lance Armstrong get caught in their deception.  Sometimes, it takes much longer (as in the case of BHO and his BADministration) for the deception and lies to be totally exposed.  There are some individuals who have already figured it out.  But those who wish to protect such a high-powered elitist individual can keep the deception hidden from the masses.

We cannot hide our sins from God.  In God's eyes, people's hearts--their thoughts and motives--are as visible as a lamp mounted in the open.  No matter how hard we try to cover up bad attitudes, deeds, or words, we cannot deceive God.  Instead of hiding our faults, we should ask God to change our life so we no longer have to be ashamed.  If you are trying to hide anything from God, it won't work.  Only when you confess your hidden sins and seek God's forgiveness will you have the help you need to do right. (3)

Deception weakens the foundations of our life.  As Exodus 20:1-21 informs us, giving false testimony means lying in court. 


God gave the Israelites the Ten Commandments precisely because He knew Israel could not survive unless its system of justice was incorruptible. I don't know about you, but it seems that honesty is harder and harder to come by these days. Deception is so rampant in our world. It is hard to discern honesty in the public statements of those in government, on TV, in the sports world, and even in  corruption minded clergy and/or reprobate churches. Honesty in private dealings has been corrupted as well. Whether it is in private dealings or public statements, individuals who "testify falsely" by leaving something out of a story, telling a half-truth, twisting the facts, or inventing a falsehood damages us and tests our ability for survival. Even though deception is a way of life for many people, God's people must not give in to it! (4)

As I have said many times on this blog, it is not EVER my intention to promote falsehoods here.  When I sometimes get it wrong because of misinformation, I try to make amends for it and correct it right away.  However, in some cases, the truth is still being veiled. it is troubling to know that the scales have not dropped from the eyes of the deceived.  We are often left to our own devices to try and figure out what the truth actually is on any given subject.

For instance.  Many people think that the "birther" issue regarding BHO's citizenship and eligibility to be president is a silly, inconsequential, and "already settled" matter.  For me (and millions more), nothing could be further from the truth!  [Note:  Saw a recent comprehensive article that cites excellent reasons why Americans should still be questioning BHO's eligibility, and when I find it again I will post the link here.]

People are still asking questions that challenge "the official story" [which, btw, changed a lot over the course of several days, weeks and even months] regarding the Sandy Hook school shooting.

Still want to believe everything you hear and see on the news??

Yes.  Unfortunately, deception IS a way of life for some people and it is sickening, to say the least!  The ugliness and danger of deceit is nauseating!

Lastly, I want to share a Bible story that demonstrates how one person's deception can cause many to suffer.

Bible Reading:  Joshua 7:1-26

Key Bible Verse: 

The LORD said to Joshua, "Get up!  Why are you lying on your face like this?  Israel has sinned and broken my covenant!  They have stolen the things that I commanded to be set apart for me.  And they have not only stolen then; they have also lied about it and hidden the things among their belongings."  (Joshua 7:10-11)

Why did Achan's sin bring judgment on the entire nation?  Although it was one man's failure, God saw it as national disobedience to a national law.  God needed the entire nation to be committed to the job it had agreed to do--conquer the land.  Thus, when one person failed, everyone failed.  If Achan's sin went unpunished, unlimited looting could break out.  The nation as a whole had to take responsibility for preventing this undisciplined disobedience.

Achan's sin was not merely his keeping some of the plunder (God allowed it in some cases), but his disobeying God's explicit command to destroy everything connected with Jericho.  His sin was indifference to the evil and idolatry of the city, not just a desire for money and clothes.  God would not protect Israel's army again until the sin was removed and the army returned to obeying him without reservation.  God is not content with our doing what is right some of the time.  He wants us to do what is right all the time.  We are under his orders to eliminate any thoughts, practices, or possessions that hinder our devotion to him. (5)

It is truly sad and disheartening to see individuals deceived by flattery and the "gimme dat" mentality of socialism by a government that is so corrupt!  Those who give in to such temptations and wrong beliefs fall prey to the deceit; and, unfortunately, they will discover too late when their freedoms are taken away - one by one by a tyrannical leader.

The only way to avoid falling prey to deceit is to ask God to help you distinguish between deception and truth.

Randy's advice is good to consider as we enter into another new year.   Media addictions are real and dangerous to our eyes and our souls.  However, if we use such media with the wisdom and knowledge of God via the Scriptures, they can be a great tool for advancing Christian principles to millions.  It really depends on what you are actually doing with your blog, social networking page, website and forum.  Is what you are doing being used just for entertainment?  Is what you are doing being used for sinful or dark reasons?  Is what you are doing ending up to be just useless blather?  Or are you using it to be a "bright shining of a lamp [that] gives you light?"

I think that too many people are, unfortunately,  living in fantasyland - and this may be one reason why some Americans re-elected a Marxist/Islamo-fascist tyrannical wannabe dictator for another four years. The other reasons have been covered here in former blog posts which include the awful combination of rampant voter fraud and the gimme-dat generation that thinks past failed efforts of redistribution of wealth and a government cradle-to-grave socialism mentality via entitlements is better than freedom, liberty, justice, and the free enterprise system of capitalism (not the crony-capitalism that BHO and his ilk use).   What they don't see (yet!) is the ultimate result that happens.  What the government gives it can take away.  This includes taking away your religious and speech freedoms, your liberty, your financial freedoms, your Second Amendment freedoms, and the justice that our Founding Fathers intended for our Constitutional Republic. 

Patriots, who saw the corruption are utterly astounded and horrified!

Did you ever think that you would hear of a U.S. Constitutional "law" professor coming on television saying that our U.S. Constitution should be scrapped??  But don't take my word for it, view the interview yourself.   The video at the following link is even better because Megyn Kelly grills NY Times Op-Ed Author Writing That U.S. Should Give Up On Our Constitution.

Like many of my friends, relatives, acquaintances and Internet blogging friends, I think that the next four years under BHO and his nefarious handlers will be horrible for America. This is one of the reasons why I have chosen not only to continue sharing the joys of living in Christ here at this blog - but also, I will continue to serve as a beacon of warning for all who would come here to read my posts regarding what is REALLY happening here in America and across the world that the Badministration rules of lawlessness covers up via what the media of mass corruption out there in fantasyland purposely neglects to report.   Such deception hiding corruption is a kind of propaganda that uninformed people slurp up to their own detriment, and the detriment of all Americans.

I want to thank my sidebar link writers for all that they have provided in the effort to expose all the lies, election fraud, corruption, anti-Christian, anti-American, anti-Capitalism, anti-Israel, pro-Muslim Brotherhood (a terrorist organization, mind you!), deception, perverseness, sin and evil that is, and has been,  running rampant in this terrible government.   Nice Deb writes that we will have a tough road ahead but we must not give up! We still need to fight for what is right, true, virtuous, lovely, pure, and God honoring!

Paul instructs us:

Phl 4:8   Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things [are] noble, whatever things [are] just, whatever things [are] pure, whatever things [are] lovely, whatever things [are] of good report, if [there is] any virtue and if [there is] anything praiseworthy--meditate on these things.

Phl 4:9   The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.

Notice that Paul informs us that we are to "meditate on these things" and in the next verse says, "these do."

 The result?  "And the God of peace will be with you."

America's Providential History

About a week ago, the mailman accidentally (or, perhaps, providentially?) left a copy of my neighbor's "Enjoying Everyday Life" magazine in my mailbox.  It is published by Joyce Meyer Ministries.*  I found the same magazine online, and wanted to share a commentary about a book that I think all Americans should read.  The book is entitled, "America's Providential History." by Mark A. Beliles and Stephen K. McDowell.

The two authors of the book wrote an excerpt and placed it in the "America At Its Best" section of the magazine.  It is entitled "A Land of Religious Freedom:  God's Plan of Colonization for the United States."

I am looking forward to getting a copy of this book.  It was written for the purpose of giving readers insight into God's hand at work as we discover the true and genuine history of America (often, unfortunately, left out of secular classrooms) and the spreading of the Gospel worldwide.

One of the most intriguing aspects of the birth of our nation is contained in this quote:

"Every attempt to colonize...the U.S. was met with failure.  God was preserving [it] for a people He had yet to prepare."

No wonder our Founders spoke and wrote about Divine Providence in our Founding Documents!  They truly knew, realized, and respected God's Hand at work in the birth of our great nation!

Our nation is in moral, financial, educational, and especially spiritual trouble.  Why?  Many reasons, but the lack of good leadership stands out since 2008.  I continue to pray for restoration of our nation and the future appointment(s) of more Godly leaders

In 1492, Christopher Columbus [whose name meant “The Christbearer”] opened up the New World to civilization. We all know of this event, but do we know what motivated Columbus to embark on such an arduous and dangerous journey? The following excerpts from his diary will tell us.

“It was the Lord who put it into my mind —I could feel His hand upon me—the fact that it would be possible to sail from here to the Indies…

“All who heard of my project rejected it with laughter, ridiculing me… There is no question that the inspiration was from the Holy Spirit, because He comforted me with rays of marvelous illumination from the Holy Scriptures… For the execution of the journey to the Indies, I did not make use of intelligence, mathematics, or maps. While Columbus discovered the New World, God did not allow the country from which he sailed to colonize the territory which originally comprised the United States. ...Explorers carried with them the seeds of religious tyranny, and God had plans for America to be planted with seeds of liberty.

Historian Daniel Dorchester writes:

“While thirst for gold, lust of power, and love of daring adventure served the Providential purpose of opening the New World to papal Europe, and Roman Catholic colonies were successfully planted in some portions, the territory originally comprised within the United States was mysteriously guarded and reserved for another—a prepared people.”

During the century following the discovery of the New World, colonization occurred in much of South and Central America. In 1493 the Pope gave Africa, Asia, and Brazil to Portugal and the rest of Latin America to Spain.  This is reflected in the colonization that followed.  Every attempt to colonize the territory comprising the original United States was met with failure.  God was preserving this land for a people whom He had yet to prepare.


In 1497, John Cabot, landing near the St. Lawrence River, laid claim to America for England. At this time, England, as all of Europe lived under civil and religious tyranny, yet…God would be at work in the sixteenth century to assure that this was changed.

B.F. Morris writes of God’s providential hand at work during this era:

“No era in history is more signally and sublimely marked than that of the discovery and Christian colonization of the North American continent.

“The intervening century was in many respects the most important period of the world; certainly the most important in modern times. More marked and decided changes, affecting science, religion, and liberty, occurred in that period than had occurred in centuries before; and all these changes were just such as to determine the Christian character of this country. Meantime, God held this vast land in reserve, as the great field on which the experiment was to be made in favor of a civil and religious liberty. He suffered not the food of Spaniard, or Portuguese, or Frenchman, or Englishman to come upon it until the changes had been wrought in Europe which would make it certain that it would always be a land of religious freedom.”

He Leads Me Beside The Still Waters

Whenever I speak with friends, neighbors and other Christian Conservatives about the scary results of the election and the "fiscal cliff" that our nation is headed towards, they express the worry and anxiety that we all are feeling.  It is especially troublesome to those of us who are paying attention to the corruption going on in our government and the turmoil around the world.

But Psalm 23 helps us throw our cares upon the Lord Jesus Christ.  Jesus told us that our frets are futile.

"You cannot add any time to your life by worrying about it."  (Matthew 6:27).

We all know the bad results of worry.  Anxiety, depression, high blood pressure, heart trouble, headaches, and a host of stomach disorders.

So how to deal with anxiety?

I once read about a humorous story where a person decided to hire someone to do his worrying for him.  He found a man who agreed to be his hired worrier for the salary of $200,000 per year.  After the man accepted the job, his first question to his boss was, "Where are you going to get $200,000 per year?"  To which the man responded, "That's your worry."

Heh heh...of course "worrying" isn't a job that we can give to another person to handle for us!

David instructs us in Psalm 23:

"He leads me beside the still waters."

"He restores my soul."

"He leads me in the paths of righteousness."

God is leading us!  He tells us what we need to know when we need to know it!  How?  In His Word!

Hebrews 4:16 NLT says, "We will find grace to help us when we need it."

In another translation (NEB), it reads, "Let us therefore boldly approach the throne of our gracious God, where we may receive mercy and in his grace find timely help." 

Psa 23:1 A Psalm of David. The LORD [is] my shepherd; I shall not want.

Psa 23:2 He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters.

Psa 23:3 He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name's sake.

God leads us.  God will do the right thing at the right time.  And what a difference that makes.

Nevertheless, Give Thanks [Updates]

The entire time that the BHO campaign made such a stink about "rich people not paying their fair share," and "spreading the wealth around," I had an uneasy feeling about it all.  Pitting the poor against the rich, blacks against whites, Hispanics against whites, women against men, liberal (a.k.a. pro-abortion and pro-homosexual "marriage") women against conservative (a.k.a pro-life and pro-traditional family) women made for the most divisive and attack-filled campaign that I have ever seen in my lifetime.  I'm not really sure which one of the aforementioned battles was more damaging.  They were all terribly disgusting, in my mind.

I know a man, a Christian and honorable man, who never earned a college degree.  Nevertheless,  he excelled in the business world via a fast food company that originally hired him as a retail planning engineer.  Over his twenty-two year career, he worked his tail off to reach the level of a corporate vice president.  This man experienced poverty in the early years of his life.  However, his parents would not take any handouts of government money.  Back then, it was considered embarrassing and shameful to do so.  Right or wrong, most Americans back then had the attitude of "pulling their own weight" and the handouts were just for the very poor, ill, desperate, old and disabled.  [Please note:  I am not telling this story to disparage the unemployed or those on food stamps.  I'm just stating a fact that people back in the 50's,  60's and 70's often thought this way.]

We need to ask the question about exactly why this government would be "proud to be distributing this year the greatest amount of free Meals and Food Stamps ever, to 46 million people?"  Answer:  DEPENDENCY= votes for the Marxist Democrats.

This man, in his younger years, worked every kind of job he could in order to help out his family. He started with a paper route when he was 13 years old.  He took odd jobs over the years that included roof work, painting, bar bouncer, bartender;  just to name a few.   He even took a job that he absolutely hated - as a collection agent.  It was a job that he got through a connection with his father.  He quit that job just a month later because he finally told his dad that he could not stand it.  Knocking on doors of people who owed money but could not pay was too much of a burden on his conscience.  It wasn't a job that he would ever had taken if he knew beforehand what it required him to do.  He didn't want to disappoint his dad, but there were so many reasons why he needed to leave that job and move on.

Back when he was growing up, the family moved a lot and both his dad (when he wasn't ill) and mom worked really hard to keep the family going.  This man attended a trade school and that is what got him into several jobs leading up to his 22 year career with a fast food company.

He once told me the story that when his dad was ill and unable to work, his aunt and uncle took the family in.  The relatives did not have a big house, so his bedroom was his sister's small, walk-in closet.

This man isn't rich today - but you might consider him to be more well-off than many others.  However, if the Democrats had their way, he would be forced to pay huge amounts in taxes that will come out of his retirement money*. 

I haven't even included any of the details about how his work helped "save" the company over the years he worked there.  I haven't included all the individuals he has hired over the years to do work for him, or about the charitable giving, or about the generosity towards his family.

It really bothers me to hear the BHO people continue to attack the so-called "rich" and blather on about them "paying their fair share"  and "spreading the wealth around."  That is a Marxist (a.k.a. communism) mindset, people!  Clear, plain, and simple!  However, the few liberals who visit this blog deny that label (of Marxist/communist* accusations against BHO - even Russia sees it)  and want to continue to demonize me - a member of the "other side."

Remember, dear people, that when it comes to Marxist ideology, there are the "elites" who run everything, dictate, and lord-it-over the plebeian who, (whether given up voluntarily, gradually or  suddenly because of dependency on government rather than God) end up having their rights, liberties, religious freedom, and general freedoms taken away by a dictatorial-type government.

I get scolded by some who come to visit this blog and claim that "I'm not very Christian" when I reply to their odd-ball comments in a harsh (but truthful) way.  Well, Jesus was harsh with those who would do harm to others; those who would lie, cheat, sin, steal and do evil (especially to children - but that's another topic) in order to get their political way.  This is what happens (and, did happen in the  Nov. 6, 2012 election) when government is taken over by reprobates and unrepentant types.  What they sell to the plebeian (whom they really only use to get elected) sounds good; until the common people realize what it will cost them in the end.  That cost is loss of freedom, liberty, justice and the pursuit of happiness.

The first words that Jesus uttered when he began his 3-year ministry on earth were, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."

Mat 4:17

From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."

The liberal, progressive, socialist, Marxist, communist, anti-colonialists mock, disparage, debase, insult, ridicule, and demonize the opposition in such a way that I'm sure is not of God. 

Why? 

Because it is not only wrong in the eyes of most discerning people, but it is also not biblical!!   It is opposed to God's Word!   I knew this intuitively, but I didn't realize at what a profound degree this was true until I listened to Dr. David Jeremiah's message.  Then, it all made perfect sense!  Those who had fallen for the hype and chains of BHO's message [Update: by even labeling him as "their messiah???"**] were brought along by methods that included free stuff; but it was lumped in with class warfare, division, hatred, lies, and envy.  The "free stuff" was the hook, while the added vices of warfare, division, hatred, lies, and envy was the sinker.  Time will tell how these people will feel once they realize how badly they were duped.

***That quote from the video sermon page is a very tame description compared to what Dr. Jeremiah discusses in the message. Even the outline seems innocuous. But I guarantee that every person who would take the time to listen to the message that Dr. Jeremiah brings forth in his sermon would squirm in their seats at several points!  It's THAT GOOD in exposing what (and who) is behind the "rich vs. poor" mantra and the jealously and/or guilt that permeates us to the core regarding such disparagement.

I will tell you that there is nothing outwardly political in the video message. There is no mention of the election, or the two campaigns, or what transpired over the months leading up to the election on November 6, 2012.

But what I learned via the message can be directly applied against all the attacks that the BHO campaign used (apparently, successfully) against the Mitt Romney campaign, supporters and voters during the 2012 election campaign.

And guess what?   If you didn't already know or understand this:

Their tactics were opposed to what the Bible teaches!!!

I realize that most thinking and discerning people might already have realized this.  But the fact that Dr. Jeremiah shared Scripture and human interest stories that deeply counter the tactics used by that particular political group added a measure of proof about the truth of what I'm sharing today.

The final portion of the sermon message - "Be Thankful in Spite of the Pain That Is Around You" is such a powerful, relevant, and at the same time both humbling and encouraging one!  That's the Bible - the humbling and encouraging book of the ages!!   I must admit that  I will never forget it!!!

The message is exceedingly helpful to all of us - rich or poor (and everyone in between), liberal or conservative, woman or man, black, white, Hispanic or any other race, color or creed. If you take the time to watch and listen to the entire message - you will be astonished at the end! You will also come away with a more thankful attitude despite the chaos going on all around us and the pain that we all go through individually, and even the pain experienced by groups of people at certain times on this earth.

Every person alive has pain.  There is no escape from it!  There are all different types of pain.  Some are excruciating to go through (been there, done that!); while others turn out to be mild disappointments (had them too).  But even in the midst of such pain, God is there to get us through it!! And...the secret is...ONLY GOD CAN ACCOMPLISH THIS FOR US!

There is nothing more important in this life than knowing God through His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord!! His forgiveness, mercy, grace and love surpasses all understanding; and if more individuals would seek God via His Word and find and accept His Living Word - Jesus Christ, our grief would be turned to joy in every circumstance on this earth as we wait in joyful hope of the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ!

May your Thanksgiving blessings continue on throughout the rest of this year,  in the year to come, and during all the days of your lives.

We remember the Hungarian Revolution in the 50's, the Berlin Wall, and the uprisings and fight for freedom in Poland. We must be gotten rid of. Obamacare will deny us proper medical care and shorten our life span and the inability to control our retirement funds will undoubtedly result in substandard living conditions and permature deaths for many. Read your history books folks. History always seems to repeat itself. Those that don't will get screwed. Do not underestimate the evil in Barack Obama and his cohorts.

Thanksgiving 2012

We gather together to ask the Lord's blessings...*

Just one phrase from a famous song that was typically sung at Thanksgiving celebrations.  Now, more than ever, we need to ask the Lord to continue to bless us and hold our beloved nation together.  With so many challenges ahead, and the divisions that have been wreaked upon us by nefarious individuals in our government, in the media, in our educational system, and internationally (that have their sights on killing us and Israel); we need such protection from God now, more than ever.

America has been THE most blessed nation in the history of the world!

Why is this so? 

Because our Founders believed in God, His Son, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit.  Thus, they wrote documents that reflected such beliefs which had their origin in the Bible, and applied them to create a new and unique kind of government - designed to be of the people, for the people, and by the people.

Over my lifetime, I have seen the escalation of anti-American ideology permeate the government, media, Hollyweird, education, and unfortunately in many homes.  But I thank God that my family, being raised in a Biblical Christian environment, has not fallen for such ideology.  We can still live our lives and celebrate the joy of the Lord, rejecting what the secular world would like to inflict upon us.  I am so grateful to God that our family can adhere to Proverbs 2:2-5.

"Make your ear attentive to wisdom, incline your heart to understanding; for if you cry for discernment, lift your voice for understanding; if you seek her as silver, and search for her as for hidden treasures; then you will discern the fear of the LORD, and discover the knowledge of God."

Ronald Reagan warned America - back in the 1980's - that freedom is just one generation away from the destruction of our Constitutional Republic.  Here is the exact quote:

Why am I discussing this on Thanksgiving?  Because I think that we could be on the brink of such a generation now, in 2012 and beyond.  The socialist agenda is being touted as better than America's Constitutional Republic, and the college generation is, unfortunately, buying into that myth.

The horrors of the communist (Soviet Union)  and national socialist (Nazi Germany) and totalitarian oppression (Imperialist Japan) that the Greatest Generation fought so hard against in World War II to fend off and destroy is just a shoulder shrug of history to the Gen X and Millennials.  I wonder how many in those generations have actually seen the awful films of Jewish people, Polish Christians,  homosexuals, and any other kind of peoples deemed "unworthy" by the Aryans being killed and pushed into mass graves at the concentration camps of Nazi Germany during history class in either high school or college?

BTW, I recently learned that the name (Iran) given to the former country of Persia by the Ayatollahs who took over there actually means "Aryan" in the Persian language!  Is this just a coincidence?  Of course not.

I know.  Not pleasant images or subjects to discuss during Thanksgiving Day.  But I think that while we enjoy the food on our tables today, we also would do well to keep in mind such horrors as food-for-thought as we enter into another four years of a BHO BADministration.  I don't need to list all the terrible things that will continue to happen under this would-be dictator (Recall he stated he wishes he could bypass Congress and make all the decisions??  Recall that he also told our nation that when push comes to shove, he would side with the Muslims??) to transform America into what the Greatest Generation opposed in the 1940's.  It is sad that history tends to repeat itself - to the detriment of all - by the apparent ignorance of those who didn't learn about  (or choose to ignore) such devastingly horrible history in the first place.

Last night, I shared a post that describes the current dark times that we will continue to face here in America as we race towards the End Times. However, our TRUE HOPE in this world does not live here - because Christians are "not of this world." Jesus told us that his kingdom is not of this world:


John 8:23   And He said to them, "You are from beneath; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world.

John 18:36   Jesus answered, "My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now My kingdom is not from here."

No matter WHAT this world tries to heap upon us, we need not fear.  We may not know what the future holds, but we do know Who holds the future!  God's Word hasn't told us everything, of course, but it has told us all that we need to know, for now.  And we can experience peace, joy and love through Him; despite all the turmoil going on around us.

However, we are  also admonished to recognize the "spirits of false prophets all around us," expose them, confront them, and share the TRUTH.  We are called to discern the difference between the "spirit of truth and the spirit of error."

1Jo 4:1   Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world.

1Jo 4:2   By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God,

1Jo 4:3   and every spirit that does not confess that [fn] Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the [spirit] of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.

1Jo 4:4   You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

1Jo 4:5  they are of the world. Therefore they speak [as] of the world, and the world hears them.

1Jo 4:6   We are of God. He who knows God hears us; he who is not of God does not hear us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.


The promises of Christ make foolish the spirit of error in this world.


1Jo 4:14   And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son [as] Savior of the world.

1Jo 4:15 Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.

1Jo 4:16 And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.

1Jo 4:17  Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world.

1Jo 4:18  There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.

1Jo 4:19  We love Him [fn] because He first loved us.


We know where love originally came from.  It came from God Himself!  Therefore, we know what genuine love means and can celebrate and share it with those whom we love.

Thanksgiving is a time to thank the Lord for all he has done for us!  It is a time to celebrate our lives with loved ones and enjoy our time together on this special day.  Keeping the love, joy, forgiveness, mercy and grace given to us through our Lord Jesus Christ in mind on this day, and every day,  helps us keep our focus on what truly matters!
