The Bible is THE greatest book ever written. It is the God-breathed message to all men, via all of the writers of the books in the Bible who were each carried along by the Holy Spirit of God as they wrote down Scripture. There are many benefits to reading the Bible. And, it serves as a great respite from all the chaos going on in this deceptive, sinful, and destructive world of immorality and relativistic havoc!
Phl 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.

This is so suitable for understanding the scheming that I point out in today's post regarding the utmost misanthropy. Thinking it is good to be adaptable, and proud of it is one thing. Getting people used to accepting the deranged and perverted quite another. Pride is not all bad (or He wouldn't have made it available), only that which can be lured into the sinister side, often unwittingly, due to a variety of factors.

It's a shame that you think your own "wisdom and knowledge" apparently trumps God's; some of which is revealed to mortal man in the Bible.
