First, Write 2 Fight's post entitled, "Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their country" is indicative of why the 9/12 Project and various TEA Party organizations formed. Many started in order to fight against ObamaSCARE HELLcare and all of the out of control spending, executive orders, bailouts, wasteful spending on so-called "green" energy and the stupid stimulus bills that didn't create jobs but probably lined political crony pockets were rammed through the Democratic House and Senate. Ultimately, America's detrimental direction went from bad to worse through all of the criminality that has been going on; including the plethora of scandals that make our heads spin in disbelief. How could anyone in their right mind trust this government...EVER?

Remember the quote “Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their country?” In typing class the quote was used to practice keyboard skills. The faster you learned to type the letters, the more likely you were to snag a secretarial job. In the process of learning to type quickly, the quote was committed to memory.
Patriots need to reach into their memory pool to pull out the quote, dust off the words, and shout the quote to fellow citizens: “Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their country! ” It is a desperate plea for help in the 11th hour. Standing shoulder to shoulder, patriots have a chance to block the governmental encroachment on personal rights that is taking place on a daily basis.
Sadly, the call may be too late. However, the American spirit is not to be underestimated. If the call to action is heeded, enemies of the Constitution may find themselves facing angry patriots instead of sheeple who follow along blindly to the luring sounds of Utopian pipes.

Agenda 21 is aimed at supporting big government take over of private property rights, medical freedom, education, and economic well being. The Constitution guarantees citizens freedom to control government; Agenda 21 guarantees government control of the citizens. The policies of Agenda 21 are enemies of the framework of our government precisely because they seize government control over individual rights. Sadly, many citizens don’t understand the importance of the Constitutional guarantees and will probably be blind until their personal land is seized, their personal water supply is diminished or cut off, or their kindergarten child is taught about homosexualism.
“Sustainable development” is another word for governmental land grab leading to robbing Americans of their private properties in the name of saving the environment. ”Sustainable Medicine” is a little more personal because it’s a grab of citizens’ health care including grandma’s right to live. These policies are justified by buzz words such as: ”global equity, “common good “or “environmental stewardship.” Ostensibly reasonable words on the surface, aren’t they? They have pervaded our society. “Global warming,” “Universal health care,” “Global governance,” “Global citizenship,” and “Global monetary system’” are used openly.

Enslaved? or Free?
If given a choice between freedom and enslavement, most people choose to be free. In fact, our forefathers risked their lives to avoid enslavement. It was through life or death challenge that our nation was created by men and women of strong character who gave credit to God for their success. “In short, we must now determine to be enslaved or free. If we make freedom our choice, we must obtain it by the blessing of Heaven on our united and vigorous efforts.” (George Washington, August, 1776). Ralph Waldo Emerson said, “God offers to every mind its choice between truth and repose.” The choice is the age old battle between good and evil or truth and deception. Today the gulf between freedom and enslavement is gaping open and some are choosing enslavement through willful inattentiveness or unabashed greed for power and money.
Daniel Webster knew of the inherent danger of “inattention of the people to the concerns of the government, from their carelessness and negligence.” He said, “I fear that they may place too implicit a confidence in their public servants, and fail properly to scrutinize their conduct; that in this way they may be made the dupes of designing men, and become the instruments of their own undoing.”
We live in a time of crisis. Never has our Nation been confronted with a critical choice as we face today. A Trojan horse has been wheeled into the highest position in our country under the auspices of smooth talking “change.” Czars and members of congress without ethics or morals have jumped out of the Trojan horse to reveal themselves as enemies of the Constitution. Elected representatives who have vowed to uphold and defend the Constitution are destroying the structure of our country as they vote in favor of legislative bills that kill free enterprise and private property rights in favor of government control over private decisions. These elected elitists refuse to listen to average Americans, their constituents, whom they disdainfully label as “right wing nuts.” Greed and power prevail over common sense while bribery and coercion in exchange for legislative favors are practiced.
Sensible policies that have made our country strong and successful are being thrown out to be replaced with unparalleled debts to foreign countries, government seizures and closings of private businesses. Freedom of speech is threatened by the practice of propaganda, political correctness, internet censorship, spying, and media control. Truth is distorted, omitted or denied. Patriots who question the new policies are placed on watch lists with the label of “questionable characters.”
Texas Governor Rick Perry says, “This is an administration hell bent on taking us toward a Socialistic country and we ought not to be afraid to say that.”

In 1969 Ezra Taft Benson, former Secretary of Agriculture, in a book entitled, An Enemy Hath Done This, lists ten ways in which the Republic is being destroyed, all of which can be applied to our current plight:
When we examine the above list, we see we are not exempt from one of them. In fact, some are destructive on multiple levels.
- By diplomatic recognition and aid, and trade negotiations with the communists. [dictatorships]
- By disarmament of our military defenses.
- By disarmament of our security laws and the promotion of atheism by decisions of the Supreme court.
- By loss of sovereignty and solvency through international commitments and membership in world organizations.
- By undermining of local law enforcement agencies and Congressional investigating committees. [or refusal to prosecute]
- By usurpations by the executive and judicial branches of our federal government.

- By a staggering national debt with inflation and a corruption of the currency.
- By a multiplicity of executive orders and federal programs which greatly weaken local and state governments.

George Washington and our founding fathers called upon God to help win the Revolutionary War and then again when the foundation of the country, the Constitution, was being created. Belief that God endowed men with unalienable rights that no man could be could limit or destroy, namely that life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness is the basic belief upon which our country rests. The function of the government is to protect these God given rights, no more, no less. John Adams said, “The moment the idea is admitted into society that property is not as sacred as the laws of God, and that there is not a force of law and public justice to protect it, anarchy and tyranny commence.” In other words, when we allow government to control our natural, God given rights, our freedom is curtailed and we become enslaved to tyranny.

Do we have the moral fortitude to choose truth and right over lies and deception? Do we have the guts and character to come to the defense of our country? George Washington said, “Truth will ultimately prevail, where there are pains taken to bring it to light.” Are we ready to go through pain to save our Constitution before it’s too late?
