The Myth of Separation of Church and State

I read an article link while over at the TEA Party Community this morning, and wanted to share the article here along with some thoughts that I had after reading it.

I am not a Constitutional scholar (as Barry Soetoro seems to claim - ha!), and I'm not extremely well read on all of the interpretations of our Founding Documents.  However, I think that I have a good general knowledge of them; as well as how and why our founding came about.  Moreover, my 24 years of Bible study has helped me see that the truth of our founding is entrenched in Judeo-Christian laws, faith, and values that come directly from the Bible.

I would like to draw your attention to the long comment posted there underneath the essay. The author of that comment seems to be saying (at least that is how I interpreted it) that a completely secular government here in the U.S. was the goal of the writers of the Constitution. However, I disagree with that and here is why.

Before the Constitution was written, The Declaration of Independence came first. The document is filled with acknowledgement of God and pointed towards the fact that England's king usurped power by inflicting governmental power over the colonies (and, thus, was taking away their God given rights) while at the same time, the powers-that-be in England tried to form one government approved certain Christian denomination over the people. 

Our nation is (or was) based on Judeo-Christian values in order to preserve our freedoms, liberty, and justice.  But when government becomes all too powerful, it leads to tyranny.  Our freedoms, including religious freedom, are taken away.  Without God's Word as a guide, our nation would not have existed (IMHO) and this "great experiment" would not have survived.  Now, I'm not so sure of our survival anymore.  Those who would have us become a socialist/communist/Islamo-fascist nation are intent on rejecting the very principles, morals, values, and ethics that allowed us to become great in the first place.  They are getting away with corruption, deception, propaganda, and downright evil - all the things that created Nazi Germany, Leninist and Stalinist Russia,  Imperial Japan, and all of the communist nations with dictators (like Mao) that have killed hundreds of millions of people. 

The way I see it is that denying (or repressing) our Judeo-Christian values is having a devastatingly negative effect on our culture, government, freedoms, liberty, and the justice that used to exist here.

The current attempt to bring Muslim sharia law into our nation is proof that such a religion (more like a political jihadist "religion" of force) is detrimental to our Constitutional Republic and needs to be suppressed.  Why?  Because they want a caliphate - which means that their goal is to take over (by jihad) not only the U.S. but the world.  Even the perpetrators of radical Islam admit that Christianity or Judaism cannot exist in their world.  Even the non-religious aren't safe.  Christians, Jews and secularists are all labeled as infidels and deserving of death if we don't convert to Islam.  This is according to their "holy" book, the Koran.

I think that the balance of church and state can exist while not infringing upon religious beliefs that come from the Bible.  False religions and dangerous cults notwithstanding, the plumb line of Scripture guided our Founders towards envisioning a Republic (as Franklin stated when created - "We have given you a Republic...if you can keep it.") 

The principles that our nation was built on can only be kept by those with faith in God - and is not achievable without Him.  Why?  Because without the Creator and Judge of the Universe as a basis for good, anything goes and evil will flourish.  Just a few of my thoughts on this issue.

Pascal Fervor wrote an excellent essay over at his blog and has asked me to respond.  Well, his request caused a lot of thinking.   The answer that I was working on in the comment section of my former post became so long that I thought it might be better to make it a blogment (a comment that becomes a blog post).

I have read and heard that several groups (e.g. ACLJ, various TEA Party groups etc.) which were targeted through blatant violations of governmental power by the IRS  have already filed lawsuits.

I agree with Pascal that the overreach of power being used by the current government includes misusing the sustainability mantra.  However, it appears to be an afterthought being revisited by the ObaMARXIST  BADministration now to either try and attempt to get his base of liberal loons back, and/or to draw attention away from all of the current scandals.  Obammy worries more about his so-called "approval rating" (which dropped 8 points recently) than about anything else.  Such a narcissistic attitude is really sad and truly dangerous for our nation.  But the handlers of this little puppet must also be worried at this point and will make Zero do anything to draw attention away from it all.


My reply to Pascal's post:


Pascal, I read your essay today and you make several excellent points!

You wrote, "belief in Sustainability is widely held in American secular government."

So true! When men fancy themselves as their own kind of little "gods," they think that they can convince us civilian "plebes" that man made global warming is real and that they need to do something drastic about it. I will take Lord Monckton's word for it (and a local weather meteorologist named John Coleman) who have debunked the man made global warming myth before I would ever believe the fools in Washington D.C. who want to use it as an excuse to spend more of the taxpayers' money.

The Bible tells us that the closer we get to the end times, the more storms, floods, hurricanes, tornadoes - you know - the "natural disasters" will occur. But then we learn of the HAARP weapon unscrupulously used by men in power which changes the weather in certain areas (sometimes quite drastically and for purposes unknown to some).  But to those paying attention we know that it is being done for evil reasons.

Your title, BELIEF In Sustainability: Sneakily Violating Our Constitution is also true.

 Their "green" religion is being used as an excuse to do so.

Of course the radical liberal=socialist=communist=tyrannical government we now have is doing this...right out in the open! But only those who have eyes to see and ears to hear realize what is happening.  And, it is occurring at such an alarming rate it makes our heads spin in disbelief that they are getting away with so much criminality!

 I could spend hours on this topic! But I will site one thing that I saw (and was originally confused about) from years ago that shows the unholy alliance of radical liberalism and radical Islamism; as well as another more recent event that the media propaganda tried to pull off as "truth."

1. My original confusion over a sign that I saw during an anti-Israel rally back in 2005 held in San Fransicko [sic purposely] has now been solved. While I was trying to make sense of that sign which reads: Thank you S.F. Liberals...You Die Last", (photo at link). Questions and discussion regarding the absurdity of the controversy regarding the building of the  "Ground Zero mosque" were brought up in that 2010 post. No need to read through the entire post (unless you want to). But you can see my confusion regarding the sign when I originally wrote (back in 2005):

"Notice what the man holding the sign is wearing. Can you tell what image is on the other man's red t-shirt? What are your thoughts about such a blatant display? Comments?"

The second post within that thread includes comments questioning Obama's birth certificate (which has since been proven to be a forgery, I might add, but no judge will touch the subject). There is discussion about Obama's fanatical anti-American pro-Marxist ideology, and his pro-Islamist trend at play within his entire BADministration.

At first glance, one might think radical Islamism and communism cannot work together. However, what is currently happening in Syria (with the Russians siding with Assad and Obummer plus clueless Senators like McCain and Graham wanting to arm the rebels (a.k.a. al-Qaida!!!) is causing a huge rife between Putin and Obammy. Ozero looked so weak and it has been reported that Putin verbally wiped up the floor with him. How embarrassing...

Granted, Putin's support for Assad goes way back because Assad's tyranny is more secular in nature. Whereas Obama and his ilk want to support the "rebels" with arms  and they are more "devout" (a.k.a. terrorists) Muslims (the Brotherhood who are Shia - I think?) and want to inflict Sharia law there.

The Syrian threat, along with the usual Iranian threat all makes for a hot and dangerous stew of trouble in the Middle East; threatening Israel most of all.

All of these developments are not new for those Christians who read, study, and comprehend Bible prophecy.

In a previous post entitled We Are Witnessing Biblical Prophecy which was written back in 2005, the hotbed of hatred towards Israel has now ratcheted up to an extreme.

In this incredible prophecy, David described the modern states of the Middle East by naming the ancient nations that have now joined with the Palestinians in their attempt to destroy the Jewish state in the last days.

This ancient prophetic list of nations is fascinating, as it enumerates virtually every one of the nations in the Arab confederacy that oppose Israel's existence today:

Edom.........from Esau, brother of Jacob (Jordan)

Ismaelites...descended from Ishmael, son of Hagar (Arabs)

Moab.........son of Lot, (Jordan, east of Dead Sea)

Hagarenes....descended from one of the 12 sons of Hagar

Gebal........ancient Byblus, (north of today's Beirut)

Ammon........son of Lot, (capital of Jordan)

Amalek.......descended from Esau (southern Jordan)

Philistines..from Ham, (throughout Palestine, Syria)

Tyre.........a Phoenician city (Lebanon)

Assur........founded Assyria; (Iraq - Iran)

Children of Lot, Moab, and Ammon, (Jordan)

Ezekiel 35:1-5, 10 describes the coming judgment of God against these Arab nations, including Edom (Mount Seir) in Jordan because of their centuries-old hatred of the Jews.

This leads us to my second point of discussion.


2. As Joel Rosenberg points out today in his: Analysis: Is Rouhani a Twelver”? Iran’s President-elect just thanked the Mahdi for his victory. once again our media of mass deception lied to us.

Rosenberg writes:

Despite the Western media’s insistence that Iran’s President-Elect, Hassan Rouhani, is a “moderate” and a “reformist,” the evidence is clear: Rouhani is actually a high-ranking Radical Shia cleric who fundamentally agrees with the terrorist and repressive policies of the Ayatollah Khamenei and has been faithful in supporting such policies. Rouhani’s son reportedly even committed suicide because of the shame he felt that Rouhani was so supportive of Khamenei’s evil ways. The central question I have been curious about since the rigged election is whether Rouhani shares the Supreme Leader’s eschatology. Namely, is Rouhani a “Twelver”? It may appear that I have gone off of the subject matter, so please forgive me. However, I think that the current evil stew of ideologies - including the use of "sustainability" in order to destroy our Constitution and the rights it contains for Americans that Pascal discusses; plus the obvious communist leanings of this BADministration, and last but not least, the obvious radical Islamist sympathizing and collusion all creates a mish-mash of hate against America and Israel.

All three evils explain why the ObaMARXIST BADministration is doing all that it can to destroy our Constitution and America as we know it.  The scandals involving the attack on the Bill of Rights may currently be seen as unimportant to those individuals and groups who were not targeted.  However, how do they know that the same thing won't happen to them in the future?  The suppression of all Conservative groups (that want to defend free speech rights, freedom of association, the right to bear arms, the right not to be subjected to illegal search and seizure and even more importantly, our freedom of religion (while encouraging the Judeo-Christian morals and values that the Founders used as a basis for our laws in America) is only the beginning of the tyranny to come against all American.  What's worse is that they are hell-bent on using all the power of this current big, bloated, misguided government to do so.

What is the purpose of it all?  CONTROL

What is the end-game?  DESTRUCTION

However, if we look more closely at the situation, we find that evil not only attempts to destroy all that is good, evil destroys itself too! 

Let's go back to the meaning of that sign that was spotted in an anti-Israel rally in San Francisco in 2005:  Thank you S.F. Liberals...You Die Last". 

History has taught us that evil regimes often collude, and then end up trying to destroy each other.  One example is when Nazi Germany colluded with the Communists of the Soviet Union, then split and went on to kill and destroy each other later on in the war.

Because sinful people do not abide by God's Word and often repeat the same mistakes from history, the same will ultimately happen between the unholy alliance of radical Islamism and communism of our current day and age. 

Why?

Because in the end, only one of these two evil ideologies will want complete control.

What it all amounts to is CONTROL.

And control in the hands of evil people in power is used to further the father-of-lies plans to steal, kill and destroy.

Did NSA Director Lie to Congress About Ability to Probe? Plus, "50 Foiled Terror Plots" is a Lie

I watched most of the testimony of the NSA chief and others via C-Span.  To be honest, most of it was too boring!  But I wanted to hear the reactions of the men under oath when questions were raised regarding the NSA snooping on Americans; which resulted in breaking the 4th Amendment rights of all of us being monitored.  Unfortunately, I didn't watch the hearing all the way to the end and missed the call-in portion of the broadcast.  However, Jonathon Moseley of American Thinker shared a question by a caller in his piece "Will the Real Traitor Please Stand Up?"

Excerpt:

Okay, who is the real traitor? Is Edward Snowden a heroic whistle blower or a traitor? Well, maybe Snowden is a bit of both. He is both a hero and a traitor, arising from different aspects of his dramatic actions. Snowden was a computer whiz and former Booz Allen contract employee handling secret work for the National Security Agency (NSA). If Snowden crosses over to revealing real substantive secrets to China and Russia, obviously that will be a horse of a different color.
 
But is another traitor Gen. Keith B. Alexander, Chief of the NSA, who testified before Congress on June 18? Gen. Alexander swore to uphold and defend the U.S. Constitution. Gen. Alexander shredded the Constitution and then deceived the U.S. Congress and the public about it on June 18.

On June 18, the NSA Director told us that "these programs" stopped specific threats of terrorism. Approximately 50 acts of terrorism were prevented. Whoa, there, cowboy! Yellow penalty flag on the field!

We're not talking about "these programs" -- but about one program in particular. Obviously, there are some NSA programs that are appropriate. Some NSA programs do exist that certainly helped stop terrorism. If you didn't catch that dishonest scam, you need to sharpen your bureaucracy recognition skills.

Alexander lumped together appropriate and effective NSA programs with inappropriately, offensively, and stupidly collecting all telephone calls of all American citizens indiscriminately. The NSA dog and pony show (Alexander brought a supporting cast of characters) tried to deceive Congress and the American people in order to justify the unconstitutional and inappropriate NSA surveillance that Edward Snowden revealed.

In effect, Alexander is arguing that anything and everything the NSA wants to do has to be accepted and supported, if there is something somewhere that the NSA does that helps keep the country safe. Everything goes. We are not allowed to make a distinction between some NSA activities which are more offensive than others.

Alexander's team offered us a burlesque fan-dance striptease in the hearing. While saying they can't bare all, they tried to show enough leg in between the moving fans to keep the customers interested and the money flowing. Yet the examples prove how unconstitutional the NSA's intrusions into our privacy really are.

Every striptease glimpse the NSA and FBI offered underscored why they are scoundrels: They gave examples of international telephone calls across borders. Yet the surveillance program that Snowden exposed monitors purely domestic phone calls wholly within the United States.

They described situations in which there is probable cause to believe that a person is involved in terrorism, or talking to a known terrorist (across borders). Yet the surveillance Snowden exposed occurs without any probable cause. The NSA is snooping on everyone indiscriminately. So the glimpses they gave us were not a pretty sight. If there were probable cause, then there wouldn't be a controversy.

 
 

Perhaps we can add this dog and pony show "testimony" into the pile of scam artists (like Eric Holder) that are trying to hide the truth about all the scandals currently plaguing the O Regime. Why should the NSA scandal be any different?  When lying, deceiving, stalling, dismissing, and constant cover-up occur from this regime on a daily basis, can anyone spot the truth anymore?

As I have quoted before, Christian singer/songwriter Brandon Heath included in the lyrics of his hit song, "Leaving Eden" the phrase: "If it weren't for my TV, I wouldn't know what is real." If you listen to the song, you will notice that statement is meant to be taken sarcastically; and such a realization about the lack of truth in the media is more significantly rampant today than ever before in the history of the United States of America!

I need to locate a video clip of this, but apparently the NSA chief and his deputy made statements that were caught on a live microphone that they probably thought was turned off. They were discussing "having a beer with the boss (Obama?)" after getting through the hearing before Congress. Now, that may not be deemed as collusion to some, but when a little old lady calls in to C-Span and catches these supposedly "trustworthy" men in a lie, you need to consider the possibility of collusion in order to continue the cover-up.

A little old lady caller to C-SPAN asked the killer question: Have there been any prosecutions if the NSA detected and stopped 50 terrorist plots? You know the answer. Further, all of this highlights the difference between Obama and Bush. Bush's activities -- as far as we know -- only involved international phone calls across our borders and only focused on specific, identifiable individuals under suspicion. Obama's Administration is targeting the entire U.S. population (at least those with telephones).

President Barack Obama, leading student of Clintonian double-speak, tells us that we need to strike a balance between our privacy and keeping the country safe. We already struck that balance. It's called the Fourth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. Our Founders struck a balance between privacy and national safety and protection from crime. The Fourth Amendment speaks eloquently for itself:

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

But Obama plays an old Clinton trick. When your violation of a rule is exposed, change the subject and demand a conversation about developing a new, perfect rule. Ignore the fact that you violated the existing rule, by talking about what the perfect rule might be.

Some are trying to cry "Look over there! A cloud shaped like a bunny!" to distract people from the real issues. Do you have privacy rights in telephone call data, since that data belongs to the telephone company?

Just days ago, Hannity had an entire show where black conservatives gathered in a studio audience style conversation about racism against them and how they are hated, vilified, called names, disparaged, demonized and targeted by rabid leftists, their homo fascist friends and their ilk who can't stand anyone expressing their free speech rights  to believe in Conservative values, including the value that marriage is the union of one man and one woman.

Conservative thinkers have been warning...FOR YEARS...that the homosexual "progressives" who "just wanted equal rights" would one day turn against those who tolerate their nefarious activities and demand not only just tolerance or acceptance, but also demand  PUNISHMENT against those who disagree with their lifestyles.  Apparently, this has already happened in some Scandinavian countries were Christians (including Pastors!!)  are sued, dragged into court, and even jailed for preaching sermons from the Bible where the verses explain that homosexual behavior is sin and an abomination to God.

They wouldn't get away with such efforts in most Muslim countries!   Sharia Law would see fit to jail and even kill homosexuals (just like they jail and kill Christians; especially converts from Islam to Christianity)!  But I digress...

During a conversation with a rabid leftist who totally disparaged Dr. Carson in a former post about the world renowned surgeon, I had this to say:

I recently saw Dr. Carson's story on T.V. I have even more respect for him than ever! His discovery in how to remove portions of the brain to stop a girl's convulsions was heart warming! And, the 21 hour operation with teams of surgeons and nurses in order to achieve the separation of twins from Germany joined at the skull was absolutely awesome!

I think that your rabid leftist/progressive/socialist/communist ideology just won't let you see the truth and goodness about this man.

YOU are the hater!

YOU can't stand someone having the free speech right to outwardly say that marriage is (and should continue to be) the union between a man and a woman.

The indoctrination is from your side. Keeping blacks, Hispanics, and everyone else under the guise of "progressivism" is the new kind of slavery for these people. As long as they continue to vote "democrat" - that is all that matters to you and your ilk. 15% unemployment for blacks and 24% unemployment for young people is atrocious! And it's all because of ObaMARXIST and his terrible policies!

I feel sorry for you. You are so misguided in YOUR thinking that it is a sad, sad thing indeed.
 

All of the good that Dr. Carson has done over decades of dedication as a renowned neurosurgeon is being tossed to the curb because some students "feelings" were hurt.  What a sad thing has happened in our schools and universities due to the rabid leftist haters who can't stand or tolerate ANYONE who disagrees with their ideology!!  These places don't educate...they  purposefully INDOCTRINATE.  Students aren't allowed to think for themselves or engage in polite discourse with those who think differently than the "collective" which includes most teachers in public schools and professors in the colleges and universities.

I don't think that labeling such haters as homo fascists is too strong a title.  Sadly, it accurately describes them...indeed!

POWAY — Several hundred people, mostly men, mostly older and almost universally conservative, descended on Old Poway Park Saturday afternoon to take part in a “Pro-Second Amendment” rally.

The local rally was part of a nationwide “Day of Resistance,” in opposition to recent gun-control legislation proposed and action taken in Washington, D.C. The Poway gathering was organized by conservative blogger Roger Cotton, who called it the “Shall Not Be Infringed” rally, echoing the last line of the Second Amendment.

 

“The focus of the rally is to serve as a call to action to citizens who value their individual liberties,” Cotton said.

 

The crowd was colorful and of like mind. Many wore messages on their T-shirts such as “Invest in Precious Metals – Buy Lead,” and “Freedom Requires a Truthful Press.”

 

Others carried signs bearing messages like “Victims who shoot back live longer,” and “The 2nd Amendment is the line in the sand,” and “Gun-free zones enable mass killings.”

 

“Don’t Tread on Me” flags were almost as common as Old Glory was.

 

Among those scheduled to speak during the three-hour rally were members of the San Diego chapter of the National Rifle Association, a conservative humorist and musician, and several conservative bloggers

.

“The problem is not firearms or their cartridges. The problem is a mental health issue,” said one early speaker, Julie Sutton, a blogger and humorist. “That’s what needs to be addressed. That, Mr. President, is what you should be focusing on.”

 

Sheriff’s deputies were present, but the gathering was peaceful. There was no opposition to cause trouble, and everyone obeyed the law and did not bring guns to the rally, officials said.

 

Last month, President Barack Obama urged Congress to require background checks for all gun sales and ban both military-style assault weapons and high-capacity ammunition magazines in a plea to curb gun violence in America.

 

Obama also signed 23 executive actions, including orders to make more federal data available for background checks and end a freeze on government research on gun violence.

 

The president’s actions came just a month after the Dec. 14 Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre in Newtown, Conn., in which 26 people, including 20 children, were killed by a lone gunman armed with an assault rifle.

 

Even before Obama outlined his gun control plans, sales of weapons of all kinds skyrocketed among people fearing bans, which for the most part haven’t been proposed, that may limit their ability to purchase firearms in the future.

 

The National Day of Resistance was timed for Feb. 23 to reflect the 23 executive actions, according to the official website of the movement.

 

Cotton, who said he does not own any guns but believes in the Constitution, said he got the idea to stage the rally a few weeks ago after hearing one police chief say the disarming of America could be accomplished within a generation and another say the Second Amendment is a dangerous right.

“Since I was a kid, I’ve been in love with this country,” he said. “I don’t want anything to happen to it beyond what has already happened. I just decided to do this. It’s really just me getting fed up.”

Similar rallies occurred throughout the country Saturday.

Democide: Socialism, Tyranny, Guns and Freedom

Democide is the elimination of a despised group by a government. It includes genocide, politicide, and other forms of state-sponsored mass murder. The hated minority headed for extermination may be defined by religious, racial, political, class, cultural or other attributes. Between 200 and 260 million people were the victims of democide in the 20th century, several times more than were killed in international wars during that period.

The first widely studied modern democide occurred in Turkey between 1915 and 1923, when the Turkish government decided to eliminate the country’s Christian minority, primarily ethnic Armenians and Greeks who had Turkish roots extending back to before the Islamic conquest. Two million Christians were murdered on forced marches into deserts without water or food. This democide occurred in view of Western reporters, who took photographs and posted contemporary wire reports. The fact that the democide was known outside Turkey did not deter the Turkish leaders.
The Armenian Genocide, as it has become known, was also widely known inside Turkey, where the majority Muslim population either supported or at least passively tolerated the democide. It was impossible to miss the sight of thousands of Christians at a time being rounded up and force-marched through towns and into the burning deserts on one-way trips.

Stalin and Hitler both noticed the lack of world reaction to the democide of Turkish Christians and planned accordingly. In the Soviet Union, Stalin’s henchmen purged millions of “kulaks” (farmers deemed to have too much wealth), intellectuals, businessmen, and anyone who had ever traveled outside the USSR or even had had contact with foreigners.

In Germany and Nazi-occupied Europe, Hitler proceeded with his own “final solution to the Jewish problem.” Where the German national socialists simply eliminated Jews as quickly as possible in mass graves and gas chambers, Stalin’s international socialists deported their “class enemies” to Siberia, where they were put to work in Gulag slave-labor camps, with years of torture through cold, malnutrition and brutal working conditions preceding the release of eventual death.

Stalin also devised another means of democide when he ordered the forced starvation of the Ukrainians, and five million more innocent victims were added to his totals. In Communist China seventy million people were the victims of democide, murdered by overwork in slave-labor camps, by direct execution, and by regional forced starvation. Millions more were victims of democide in Pakistan, Cambodia, Rwanda, North Korea, and many other countries.

Democide, as the name implies, does not happen in the dark of night without any awareness of it in the country where it occurs. The Turks knew the Christians were being mass murdered. Average Germans were fully aware of what was happening to the Jews between 1938 and 1945, and a large majority either actively supported or at least tolerated it. (I strongly recommend reading Hitler’s Willing Executioners: Ordinary Germans and the Holocaust, by Daniel Goldhagen, to fully appreciate the wholehearted German support for the Jewish democide.)

Today, we sometimes hear that the Second Amendment has outlived its usefulness, that it is a relic of our barbaric past and is no longer needed in the modern era. Horrific mass shootings by deranged individuals are cited as the primary reason for Americans to surrender their most effective firearms and rely solely on a state monopoly of force for their protection. This government-dependent attitude is shortsighted, historically ignorant, and extremely dangerous.

In each of the cases cited above, a necessary preliminary step on the road to democide was the confiscation of privately owned firearms. In Turkey, “reasonable” gun control laws enacted in 1911 permitted the democide of two million Turkish Christians a few years later. In Germany, the “commonsense” 1928 gun control laws of the Weimar Republic preceded Hitler’s Holocaust by a decade.

The Weimar politicians did not intend for their gun control laws to lead to the slaughter of millions of people, but it is an historical fact that those gun control laws permitted the Nazis to carry out their Holocaust. How? By making it economically and militarily feasible to round up and mass murder entire towns without any significant resistance.

In fact, the Nazis quickly learned that they needed only a hundred ordinary military policemen to exterminate towns of a thousand Polish Jews in a single day. Contrast that fact with the Warsaw Ghetto uprising. If the Jews had not first been disarmed, using previous gun registration lists as a map for confiscation, the Holocaust would not have been possible.

Likewise in the Soviet Union and in every other case, democide was preceded by “reasonable and commonsense” firearms registration, followed eventually by gun confiscation and then by the extermination of a despised minority population.

During the past two centuries, while America has avoided tyranny, Turkey, Germany, Russia and the other nations mentioned above have spasmodically lurched between monarchs, democratically elected leaders, and often quite popular dictators, allowing them frequent opportunities to commit democide against their unwanted minorities.

The situation is fundamentally different in America, because we have a centuries-old tradition of private firearms ownership guaranteed by the Second Amendment to the Constitution. The Second Amendment does not “grant” us this right; it puts into writing our God-given natural right to effective self-defense, including armed defense against tyranny.

“Pure democracy” has been described as two wolves and a sheep voting on their dinner plans. The two wolves might see this election as an expression of their highest democratic values, but for the outnumbered sheep, pure democracy is highly problematic. On the other hand, a republic has been described as two wolves and a well-armed sheep voting on dinner plans. The well-armed sheep can veto the outcome of the dinner election simply by brandishing its firearm. The sheep has inherent rights as a sovereign individual, including the right to self-defense, a right that cannot be stripped away by a simple majority vote.

So, when a democratically elected American president speaks of “fundamentally transforming” his country, and of his need to act outside the constitutional framework, the population should be on guard. When that leader begins to push for strict new “commonsense and reasonable” gun control laws, including national firearms registration in the name of “public safety,” the citizenry should be on high alert.

Can any glib politician, pundit or ivory tower academic give us an ironclad guarantee that tyranny will never arise in the United States? Not even a popular tyranny, like those of Ataturk, Stalin, Hitler or Mao? Can anyone assure us that today’s “commonsense” gun registration lists will not be used for future gun confiscation? Of course not.

The future may be unknowable, but history is well understood, and American gun owners know and understand the history of democide in the 20th century. That is why they will never accede to what is currently portrayed in the predominantly left-wing mainstream media as “commonsense and reasonable” new gun control laws.

While American gun owners lament and regret the inescapable fact that deranged individuals in a free country may on rare occasions murder a dozen or a score of unarmed victims, they also understand that government democide murders by the million. And in every case, tyrants can conduct these democides only after disarming their unwanted minorities, rendering them helpless to resist murderous government pogroms.

American gun owners will never permit this historical pattern to be repeated in their country, because they understand that the government’s heavy hand will be kept in check only as long as they are armed. Ask yourself: Were the Armenians, the Jews or the kulaks treated better, or worse, after they were disarmed and rendered helpless by their oppressors, who thereafter held an absolute government monopoly on armed violence? The answer is too obvious to require elaboration.

Naive utopians and other “low-information voters” might not understand the historical pattern, and we don’t expect them to bother to learn it. Cynical and dishonest “progressives” who do understand the historical pattern cannot yet reveal their ultimate goal of creating a disarmed and helpless American citizenry. Nevertheless, millions of Americans understand their hidden aim with crystal clarity, seeing through the false sincerity of power-hungry leftist politicians who are actually Marxist wolves dressed in Democrat sheep’s clothing—for now.

But unless and until these secret Stalinists and sundry other “progressives” can figure out a way to disarm Americans, they cannot execute their historically standard final solution to the “reactionaries-standing-in-the-way-of-utopia” problem. And this is a thorny problem for them, because tens of millions of Americans, disbelieving their deceitful bromides, will stick to their guns no matter what.

Unlike the Armenians, Jews, kulaks and other exterminated peoples, Americans who support the Second Amendment will never be disarmed quietly by government edict prior to meekly boarding a train to a socialist “reeducation” camp. They will not be taken at government gunpoint on a one-way forced march into a desert or a Zyklon-B “delousing shower,” simply because they foolishly agreed to be disarmed by their future oppressors in the dubious name of “public safety.”

If American “progressives” truly intend to disarm the American people, they will have to do it the hard way, by taking their bullets first, one at a time. As the 300 Spartans announced to the vastly larger Persian army at Thermopylae, “Molon Labe!”

You want our guns? Then come and take them!

No registration—no confiscation—no extermination!

Two topics today because I could not make a choice between them.

#1.  The BHO BADministration's leaked memo about the drone strikes on Americans. 

Fox News Channel has been all over this issue and rightly so!  This is an AWFUL violation of the U.S. Constitution and the rights of our citizens that are in the Declaration of Independence!!

What HUGE hypocrites BHO and his ilk are to have criticized former President George W. Bush for "enhanced interrogation techniques" against TERRORISTS; while supporting unmanned drone strikes on Americans who are "thought" (mind you, not arrested and tried before a jury of peers in a court of law) to be so-called "terrorists" (Now...who are they?  Opponents of the BADministration?  TEA Party Patriots?  Gun owners who hold to the Second Amendment rights? Conservatives expressing their First Amendment free speech rights and freedom of association and religion rights?)

If you are not ABSOLUTELY OUTRAGED by this, then you are not paying attention!

BHO: War Monger and Lying "Lord of the Flies"

The other day, I had a brief discussion with my husband regarding BHO.  I told him that all BHO wants to do is campaign for his terrible agenda and do everything possible to rip apart the GOP.  He doesn't lead this country.  His goal is to pulverize his opponents.  And, the few conservative commentators out there in radio and TV land who are onto this scheme are currently trying to get conservatives to not give up the fight. [Update:  But as my friend Steve tells us in his latest post, why didn't they stand up and expose BHO for the fraud that he is way back in 2008??]

I didn't listen to BHO's speech when he was inaugurated.  I just couldn't stomach the debacle.  But over the past several days since then, I have heard portions of the speech that should be alarming to anyone who isn't an ObamaBorgBot.

Received an email from Brent Bozell (who appears on Hannity's TV show on a regular basis) that is right on the mark concerning the "love" affair of the liberal media "elites" and BHO.  In his letter, Bozell mentions the Newsweek cover depicting BHO as "The Second Coming."  In my previous blog post entitled About That "Second Coming" Reference I shared my thoughts on the subject.

Well, if BHO is considered to be "lord" of anything, then perhaps we could give him the title lord of the flies? Yes! That's it! The lord of the flies - AND LIES!

At least the fly-lord has FINALLY been found guilty of violating the U.S. Constitution when he illegally made appointments To The NLRB.

Back to the subject of this post.

The following is a copy of Brent Bozell's email letter:

Dear Christine,

Newsweek stopped its print edition at the end of 2012, but they still tried to scandalize the country by producing a fake cover honoring Obama's second inauguration as "The Second Coming." This absurd attempt at myth-making is a natural progression. The "cover" story was written by Evan Thomas, who proclaimed on MSNBC a few years ago that Obama was "sort of like God" in being above the gritty political fray.

It was just as absurd when Newsweek writer David Frum, the formerly conservative Bush speechwriter, tweeted this piece of media-elite nonsense: "First term Obama: punchee, 2nd term Obama, puncher."

No one calling himself a "political observer" can say Obama was some sort of mute victim, consistently under fire, on defense over the last four years. Quote Obama from anywhere, and he's fiercely bashing the GOP. In April 2011, he said the House GOP budget plan would force "poor children," "children with autism," and "kids with disabilities" to "fend for themselves." In another 2011 speech, he described the Republican plan as "let's have dirtier air, dirtier water, less people with health insurance."

These aren't even the Obama-Biden 2012 TV ads. They were pure gutter sleaze.

In truth, the media elites want Obama to destroy conservatives. Too far-fetched, you say? Slate.com published an article by John Dickerson on January 18 headlined "Go for the Throat! Why if he wants to transform American politics, Obama must declare war on the Republican Party."

This "reporter" is the political director of CBS News. The spirit of Dan Rather remains.

Dickerson said Obama doesn't want to rest on his first-term laurels. So "Obama's only remaining option is to pulverize. Whether he succeeds in passing legislation or not, given his ambitions, his goal should be to delegitimize his opponents." He needs "clarifying fights over controversial issues," so "he can force Republicans to either side with their coalition's most extreme elements or cause a rift in the party that will leave it, at least temporarily, in disarray."

We're informed that "extreme" conservatism, as defined by the Tea Party or the NRA, should be "illegitimate." This is precisely what CBS was selling about Ronald Reagan 32 years ago. Dickerson wants Obama to be liberal enough to spur "more tin-eared, dooming declarations of absolutism like those made by conservatives who sought to define the difference between legitimate and illegitimate rape – and handed control of the Senate to Democrats along the way."

In imagining a slow political suicide of the American right, Dickerson isn't so much out in front of Obama as helpfully channeling Obama. On Saturday's "Early Show" on CBS, Dickerson explained Obama's thinking: "We heard in his press conference this week – which is, confrontation has to be the order of the day. He's tried to work with Republicans and as he said, you know, I could have more parties with them but it doesn't change the way they behave."

It's preposterous that a "journalist" would say all this. It is mind-boggling to consider he actually believes this.

Another CBS star, Bob Schieffer, demonstrated the media's impatience with anything but a fervently leftist Obama in a second term. After the president made a speech for more gun control, Schieffer leaned on history to insist that beating the "gun lobby" has to be easier than killing Osama bin Laden or "defeating the Nazis."

Schieffer argued, "the president is going to have to do more than just make a speech about it. This is one of the best speeches I've ever heard him deliver, but it's going to take more than that from the White House. He's going to have to get his hands dirty."

Liberal journalists don't want lofty oratory in the second term. They want conservatives defeated and "delegitimized." They want a smash-mouth Obama who accomplishes their agenda of "responding to the threat of climate change," and marriages for our "gay brothers and sisters" in all 50 states, and amnesty for "bright young students" so they "will be enlisted in our workforce rather than expelled from our country." All of these and more were promised to liberals in Obama's second inaugural address.

Richard Stevenson at The New York Times passed along the Orwellian echo of Obama's "unapologetic argument that modern liberalism was perfectly consistent with the spirit of the founders."

How apropos that the rag mag NewsWEAK would end its print edition (Yay!  About time!!) with a photo of the lord-of-the-flies BHO and trying to depict him as someone even remotely close to anything (or Anyone) godly!  It has to be one of the most ironic things I've ever seen the liberal left lunatics try to do with their commie puppet pResident who still continues to squat illegally in the people's White House.

Liberals are existing in their own kind of "Truman Show" where they think that what is being depicted on TV is true and that the delegitimization of BHO's opponents will somehow defeat conservatism in the United States of America.  There may be many "Trumans" out there, still not aware of the reality behind the false scenery and evil agenda of BHO, that the media of mass deception continue to perpetuate. However, more and more will finally catch on to what is really going on and want to get out from under the tyranny.

We need to keep sounding the alarms about the dangers of this Marxist/Islamo-
Fascist  parade towards tyranny of our people and continue to pray, work, and watch for opportunities to share the truth.

About That "Second Coming" Reference

Yesterday, I watched C-Span's pre-inaugural call-in show for about 15 minutes.  It was all I could stand.  The "pro-BHO" calls, newspaper articles, tweets etc. were running about 4-1 in favor of BHO compared to those presented in opposition.   I shouldn't be surprised.  Just like the rest of the media of mass corruption,  C-Span had long ago been taken over by the Commies!

One Republican caller stated that he would be cleaning out his attic instead of watching the spectacle of Marxist blathering that would be going on at the event.  Ha!  Time well spent!

I didn't listen to BHO's speech, but this morning, Fox News had a few clips and there was so much divisiveness in it!  It shows that the masquerade that BHO presented to the OBorgBots is no longer needed.  He can reveal his true evil self now.  Once again, it made me grieve for our nation.

Newsweek had a cover of a profile of BHO with "the second coming" written underneath.

 The BHO admiration society lemmings may not realize it now; but they just don't get how much more awful their destiny is about to become under the coming tyranny.

Believing that BHO is a "messiah" is so laughable. It is also very creepy! Most thinking people who haven't been hypnotized by this fraud already know what a communist and radical Islamist sympathizer he is!!

I haven't read the article that accompanies the Newsweek cover with BHO on it. However, I do think that the reference to the "second coming" of BHO (if compared to Jesus Christ) contains a not-so-hidden message from the far left lunatics that could be considered to be quite scary.

While reading a devotional this morning, a connection was made by me.

As Christian believers we "groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body" (See Romans 8:23)

This place is not our home.

Jesus told us that "in this world we will have trouble." We are strangers in a strange land, and the closer we get to the end times the more evident this becomes.

When we go back into the Old Testament, prophets had the pieces to the prophetic puzzle but they didn't always see the completed picture like Bible believing and studying Christians can, and do.

For example, when Jesus quoted from the book of Isaiah 61:1-2 in the synagogue in Nazareth (Luke 4:16-19), He quoted all the passage except the part about "the day of vengeance of our God" since that would be fulfilled at His Second Coming, not His first. Isaiah saw both parts of the Messiah's ministry--good news and judgment--but didn't see the separation between the two.

Fortunately, we have the advantage of hindsight of both the Old and New Testaments of the Bible that gives us the completed picture. The full circle, if you will, of Jesus Christ is that He was first  born into this world to give us a life that's forgiven, and raised to give us a life that's forever.

His body was sown perishable, but was raised imperishable.

It was sown in dishonor, but was raised in glory.

It was sown in weakness but raised in power.

I would venture to say that BHO's first political "coming" as pResident in 2008 was the complete opposite.

He was born to eventually be ushered in as a tyrannical leader and give America a life that's divisive between white vs. black, rich vs. poor, Christian vs. Muslim, Jewish vs. Muslim, liberal vs. conservative, moral vs. immoral, and ultimately extremely harmful towards what our Founders envisioned.  His political "second coming" will be more of the same, but even worse!  The vengeance of BHO (which was a favorite topic in his campaign speeches) against Americans he disagrees with has not even begun!

BHO is virulently destructive to our U.S. Constitution. He tramples upon it and disregards the fact that our nation was born as a Judeo/Christian one; and our Declaration of Independence was written as a result of the Founders desire to follow the Ten Commandments in the Bible.

If the left wants to think of BHO as their "messiah," how terribly disappointed they will be when they finally realize that BHO's body, mind, soul, and spirit was sown perishable (and remains that way unless he repents of his sins and turns from his reprobate mindset) and his ideology is "nothing new under the sun" but a throw-back to tyrants of death from history.   He will use them, then dispose of them when their useful-idiot status is no longer needed.

BHO was raised into the political world in secular humanistic "glory" (which never lasts) but will one day be sown in eternal dishonor.

BHO appears to have been raised into the political world of secular humanism in power, but will one day be sown into an ultimate, never-ending hell of weakness.

BHO will inevitably one day be raised imperishable in order to face judgment. The trouble is, without genuine belief in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, BHO will join all of those who out rightly reject Jesus Christ and will appear at the White Throne Judgment. It is a judgment where each sinner who has died has done so with their own sins on their soul. Spending eternity in separation from God leaves a person vulnerable to the pain of experiencing death that never ends. Recall the story of Lazarus and the rich king.

 Only the born again believers in Christ will face the Judgment Seat of Christ and be able to say that belief in Christ's sacrificial death and His forgiveness for their sins has saved them from the judgment of eternal hell fire. Because of Christ's sacrifice, we can claim the words of the hymnist as our own:

 "Living, He loved me; dying He saved me; buried He carried my sins far away; rising He justified freely forever; one day He's coming--O glorious day" (Wilber Chapman, 1908).

In another prophetic portion of Scripture from the Old Testament, we read in Numbers 24:17 -

I see Him, but not now; I behold Him, but not near; a Star shall come out of Jacob; a Scepter shall rise out of Israel...

Dr. David Jeremiah writes:

Jesus is called a "Star" three times in Scripture. In Numbers 24, Balaam predicted a Messiah in the far future, rising like a star from the descendants of Jacob. Second Peter 1:19 talks about the Morning Star rising in our hearts. And in Revelation 22:16, Jesus called Himself "the Bright and Morning Star."

In astronomy, the bright and morning star is not literally a star, but the planet Venus that appears in the eastern sky just before dawn and is one of the brightest objects in the sky.  The sight of this "star" is a sign that night is nearly over.

It's symbolic of Christ.  The dark epoch of earth's history is nearly past.  Soon the Lord will rise from His throne like the Star of Morning, ushering in an eternal day for His children.  Just as He came the first time, so He will come again.  And we "do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your heart"  (2 Peter 1:19).

To the side, a man sits on a park bench in the throes of depression while 43 presidents look on. The painting, which uses discarded dollar bills and scraps of paper with individual constitutional amendments scrawled onto them.

He explained that the man on the park bench “represents every man, woman, and child who is an American“ and who ”hopes to find the American dream of happiness and prosperity.” The artist added, “But now because of unconstitutional acts imposed on the American people by our government we stand on the precipice of disasters.”
