Why We Fight For Traditional Marriage

Dear Friends and Readers of this blog,

Please take some time to go to my message board and read the recent email messages that I have received from Brian Camenker's Article 8 Alliance/Massresistance organization. There are many links to pictures and articles that show just what legalized "gay" marriage can do to destroy parent's rights in raising their children through the desensitizing, jamming, indoctrination and conversion techniques of radical gay activists in Massachusetts.

I have been in contact with Brian for probably close to 7 years now. I have seen the devastation that conservative, Judeo-Christian parents have endured because of the radicalized gay activism in the schools there. The gay activists believe that "there is nothing that their opponents can do now that "gay" marriage is legalized there." That may be a half-truth at this point. Having watched Brian's efforts over the past several years, it has become increasingly clear that once the "homosexual 'marriage' legalization Pandora's box" has been opened, it is much more difficult to close it back up again. But it's not impossible. There is still hope...much hope!

This is why I have been active in alerting my thinking, conservative, Bible-believing, Jesus loving Christian friends to our need to prevent "gay" marriage from ever becoming a legal "right" in any state. The Massachusett's "gay" marriage law can still be overturned through the legislature or by ballot box (where it should have been decided by the people in the first place!) so even though it might be more difficult in such circumstances, it's not impossible.

Now, take a moment to read some or all of these emails posted at my Talkwisdom message board. They vividly will show you what legalizing "gay" marriage leads to... And...what it leads to is not good!!

After reading and seeing all of these email notices, messages, blogposts and links, is there any doubt that "gay" marriage legalization (that is, unfortunately, currently 'legal' in Mass. due to a radical left-wing loonie activist judge) needs to be stopped through a Constitutional Amendment?

And, if you are mistakenly of the mindset that the traditional marriage protection issue is about "civil rights" for homosexual individuals, please read this excellent article in The Weekly Standard called, Same-Sex Marriage: Hijacking the Civil Rights Legacy

I hope you took the time to click on and read the many links included in the emails posted at my message board. I guarantee that you will see that Massachusetts has become the "indoctrination gone wild" state of homosexual activism!!

Christian friends...do we really want this in California?

Or your state?

I urge everyone reading this to take action!

The U.S. Senate is expected to vote on the Marriage Protection Amendment (MPA) early next week -- and now more than ever your voice is crucial to its passage.

We are urging you to let your two senators know today that you expect them to support the MPA and the overwhelming majority of Americans who think marriage should be defined as the union of one man and one woman. To help you make this point quickly and powerfully, we've done a couple of things we don't often do on legislative calls to action. We've written a short, but direct message for you to send to your senators; and we've made arrangements so you can fax it right to their offices.

E-mails are easy to ignore; faxes are not. That's why, when you send the message, it will be sent -- at no charge to you -- not to your senators' inboxes but to their fax machines. When thousands of faxes begin to stack up in their offices, they will know without a doubt the will of the people on this important issue.

So please take a moment, right now, to click the "Take Action" button below and send your fax.

Thanks for doing your part to defend the family.

Thank You President Bush!

President Bush at today's announcement© 2006 Alliance Defense Fund

This afternoon, I was honored to hear President George W. Bush at the White House keep another promise he made to the American people, despite the vicious opposition of his critics, as he called for marriage to be protected in America. The President issued a STRONG endorsement of the Marriage Protection Amendment, which will be debated and voted upon this week by the United States Senate.

The president said:

"Marriage is the most fundamental institution of civilization, and it should not be redefined by activist judges. For ages, in every culture, human beings have understood that marriage is critical to the well-being of families. And because families pass along values and shape character, marriage is also critical to the health of society…This national question requires a national solution. And on the issue of such profound importance, that solution should not come from the courts, but from the people of the United States. An amendment to the Constitution is necessary because activist courts have left our nation with no other choice. When judges insist on imposing their arbitrary will on the people, the only alternative left to the people is an amendment to the Constitution, the only law a court cannot overturn."

You can read the President’s entire statement at: President Bush Statement

Because of your support and prayers, ADF attorneys are involved today in over a dozen cases nationwide defending marriage against the constant barrage of legal attacks from the ACLU and other advocates of homosexual behavior. Despite victory after victory for over a decade against those who seek to redefine marriage, the only way we can be assured that marriage will be protected from activist judges is through the passage and ratification of the Marriage Protection Amendment. Nineteen states have enacted amendments to their constitutions but just one activist federal court decision could redefine marriage in America.

Focus on the Family and the Family Research Council; along with so many other ADF friends and allies, have all played important behind-the-scenes roles in getting this amendment to the Senate floor. We thank them all for their hard, hard work.

Please pray for President Bush and THANK HIM at: Thank President Bush for being a “promise keeper” and for his strong and uncompromising stand for the sanctity of marriage as between one man and one woman.

Please pray for this week’s Senate debate and vote to preserve marriage in America.

If we persevere, we WILL WIN. Despite its proponent’s claims, same-sex “marriage” is NOT inevitable.

Prayer Requests Visit the ADF prayer page

"Without Christ, we can do nothing." - John 15:5

Please pray for this weeks' debate and vote on the federal Marriage Protection Amendment.

Please pray for ADF senior legal counsel Byron Babione, who will be arguing before the Tennessee Supreme Court on behalf of Tennessee legislators and voters this Wednesday to allow a constitutional amendment affirming marriage to be placed on the November 2006 ballot.

La Shawn Barber has an excellent post called, "Lawrence v. Texas and the Push for ‘Gay Marriage’"

She states,

"...when homosexuals want to tear up the foundation of society — traditional marriage and the family — I take great issue with it. I will continue speaking out against homosexual “marriage” as often and as loudly as I can."

I couldn't agree more!

It has been revealed in Janice Law's book, Sex Appealed: Was the U.S. Supreme Court Fooled? that these two men "caught" in the act of sodomy was purposely staged just to get it into the courts. Their goal all along was to overturn the sodomy laws by falsely re-labeling it a "civil right." That horrible decision has led us spiraling down the cesspool of homosexual indoctrination with blinding speed.

I would like to alert all of you as to Why We Fight For Traditional Marriage and why it is crucial to do so.

I hope that many here will take a moment to read some or all of the Article 8 Alliance/Massresistance emails posted at my Talkwisdom message board. They vividly will show you what legalizing “gay” marriage in Mass. has led to… And…what it leads to is not good at all!! In fact, it has been disastrous for that state!

I guarantee that you will see that Massachusetts has become the “indoctrination gone wild” state of homosexual activism!!

Christian friends…do we really want this in California?

Or, if you live elsewhere…in your home state?

After reading and seeing all of the email notices, messages, blogposts and links, is there any doubt that the threat of “gay” marriage legalization is a serious issue (that is, unfortunately, currently ‘legal’ in Mass. due to a radical left-wing loonie activist judge) that needs to be protected from activist judges and stopped through a Constitutional Amendment?

And, if you are mistakenly of the mindset that the traditional marriage protection issue is about “civil rights” for homosexual individuals, please read this excellent article in The Weekly Standard called, Same-Sex Marriage: Hijacking the Civil Rights Legacy.

President Bush was absolutely right when he stated:

“Marriage is the most fundamental institution of civilization, and it should not be redefined by activist judges. For ages, in every culture, human beings have understood that marriage is critical to the well-being of families. And because families pass along values and shape character, marriage is also critical to the health of society…This national question requires a national solution. An amendment to the Constitution is necessary because activist courts have left our nation with no other choice. When judges insist on imposing their arbitrary will on the people, the only alternative left to the people is an amendment to the Constitution, the only law a court cannot overturn.”

If you don’t believe that this is a very important issue of our time, then you haven’t been paying any attention to the radical homosexualization indoctrination going on in our public schools and in our courts.

Massachusetts is the “poster boy state” for permanently closing the door on “gay” marriage through a Constitutional Amendment. We must do this for the sakes of our children and grandchildren….

How do those pictures and articles "show just what legalized "gay" marriage can do"? I just see a rainbow flag and some people parading. What's the problem with that?

You insist with your mentions of "conversion" techniques. Yet you have avoided answering my comments about whether you really think it possible to be "converted" in that way. It sounds to me like you are just repeating the rethoric of the rest of the anti-gay activists, just because you decided that gay is "yucky."

BTW, happy 6/6/6! Too bad rapture didn't happen today--I guess God's sense of humor is not very good.

Juan,

You have visited this blog often enough to know (or so I thought) that my main concern is about gay activism in schools where there is a plethora of indoctrination techniques being used (and abused!) to convert young, impressionable minds to the liberal left-wing gay agenda.

I'm not a scientist, but someone once shared (and others verified) that the brains of children do not fully mature until age 21 or, in some cases, even later in their 20's. That means that all of the exposure to gay activism in the schools can have a tremendous negative affect upon a child's perception of morality and ethics; as well as in the establishment of their ultimate worldview.

The links to Article 8 Alliance/Massresistance was an effort to show those who may not be following the gay activism going on there that there is indeed a correlation between that state's legalization of 'gay' marriage and the non-stop indoctrination that largely goes unchallenged; except for a few steadfast family and Christian groups who do not want 'gay' marriage in that state.

Why did you think that the Rapture would happen on this particular date anyway? And...I thought you didn't believe in God...so why would you think He should have a sense of humor?

Gotcha!

Juan, the "yucky" factor you speak of is quite simply, one's conscience (a gift from God) telling them it is wrong and outside of God's will. When you silence that 'little' voice, you are indeed on a slippery slope with eternal consequences.

The "conversion" factor is when one decides to follow God's boundaries and not our own. The ultimate goal is NOT changing 'gays' to 'straight', it is however changing the walk and life to one of Holiness. Reading, studying the Bible and prayer is the begining. No matter what 'good' intentions one may have, taking Pride in one's sin is a sure path away from God, and that is exactly what one does by claiming to be a Christian and a "Homosexual". God will have no part of sin! Nor will God accept that sin by Man redefining marriage. That is calling that which is evil, good, that which is bitter, sweet. Very dangerous ground!

Christine: I have yet to see where the existence of that "liberal left wing gay agenda" is documented.

And no, I didn't think rapture would happen today. I just thought that if a deity existed he could have had some fun with us today.

Mark: Sorry man, but I don't share your beliefs, or your dogmatic morality. God as a general concept is of course interesting to me as a subject of study, but unnecessary as part of my view of reality. The Judeochristian god, on top of that, has too many inconsistencies, and according to the Bible seems like an insecure, cruel being, unworthy of anybody's worship anyway.

Hello Mark,

Welcome to my Talkwisdom blog! I appreciated everything you said to Juan. Unfortunately, (as he had indicated in his reply to you), as far as he is concerned it appears to be falling on deaf ears.

This was particularly well said by you Mark:

"[The ultimate goal] ...it is however changing the walk and life to one of Holiness. Reading, studying the Bible and prayer is the begining. No matter what 'good' intentions one may have, taking Pride in one's sin is a sure path away from God, and that is exactly what one does by claiming to be a Christian and a "Homosexual". Juan,
of course you don't like God, and of course God seems to you "has too many inconsistencies, and according to the Bible seems like an insecure, cruel being, unworthy of anybody's worship anyway."

That's becuase YOU Juan, have made yourself a God, unworthy of confession, too prideful to submit to God's will, too 'good' to accept a God that doesn't consult you before He acts..to name a few.

Juan, you call YOUR creator, 'insecure, a cruel being, unworthy of worship'....the exact same things Satan and his followers believed. I say, bad choice Juan! I also say, there are Worse things than earthly death, a child dieing, wordly injustice etc.. What could be worse you ask? how about Eternal seperation from God and all hope lost while God gave you time and knowledge to accept Jesus Christ as payment for you being a pride filled, ungrateful, selfish, self centered, in love with yourself bastard. That's why there will be 'nashing of teeth'... a little glimpse into eternal hell that YOU chose and WILL regret.

Good News, God is Good all the Time, and You still have time. All will be accepted at God's table, no sin is too great...chew on that when you have some 'free' time.

Juan Buhler said...

Mark,

During that eternal hell that you mention, will I still have my memories? Will I have knowledge that there is a God that is good and loving? Will I know that my loved ones are probably with Him?

Because if so, you know, I will be happy.

Juan Buhler said...

Christine, the "deaf ears" you mention are actually not deaf. Another one of your usual assumptions about people who don't think as you do.
