What are your thoughts about the verdict?

Was justice served?

*******

My thoughts?  This was a self-defense case for Mr. Zimmerman who was attacked by this young black man (who was bigger than the defendant) who didn't go home when he had the chance but returned to confront Zimmerman, attack him, beat him, slam his head on the pavement,  and tell him, "you are going to die tonight [expletive]."  Zimmerman didn't have any choice but to shoot this person in order to get him off of him and save himself from further beatings; especially when the attacker said that he wanted to kill him.

BTW, have you ever heard about the following case?

So...what do we say to those who wanted Zimmerman convicted?  Well, at this point I think that a little humor might be needed:

Oh wait...I take the "humor" part back!

Then again, there are those who just won't accept the verdict and won't let it go.  Zimmerman will most likely remain in fear (with good reason!) for his life because...

Of course, we have the typical "Zimmerman must be a 'crazy-ass cracker'  attitude and reaction" from the likes of Al Sharpton:

The Blaze.com: Al Sharpton: ‘This Is An Atrocity…a Slap in the Face to Those That Believe in Justice’

Excerpt:

Rev. Al Sharpton reacted to the George Zimmerman not guilty verdict by calling it an “atrocity” and “a slap in the face to those that believe in justice in this country.”

“I think that this is an atrocity, I think that it is, it is probably one of the worst situations that I have seen,” Sharpton said. “What this jury has done is establish a precedent that when you are young and fit a certain profile, you could be committing no crime, just bringing some Skittles and iced tea home to your brother and be killed and someone can claim self-defense, having been exposed with all kinds of lies, all kinds of inconsistencies.”

“We had to march to even get a trial and even at trial, when he’s exposed over and over again as a liar, he is acquitted. This is a sad day in the country. I think that we clearly must move on to the next step in terms of the federal government and in terms of the civil courts. Clearly we want people to be disciplined and strategic, but this is a slap in the face to those that believe in justice in this country,” he said.
Folks...this isn't over (unfortunately). Sharpton went on to say:
Sharpton also posted this statement:
“The acquittal of George Zimmerman is a slap in the face to the American people but it is only the first round in the pursuit of justice. We intend to ask the Department of Justice to move forward as they did in the Rodney King case and we will closely monitor the civil case against Mr. Zimmerman. I will convene an emergency call with preachers tonight to discuss next steps and I intend to head to Florida in the next few days.”
So...Mr Sharpton. Where's the justice in THIS case???

Some Afterthoughts...

We know the culprits who have stirred up people into rabid hatred - and constantly use the excuse of "racism" (even when it's not there!) to justify their actions. They are now trying to ratchet up trouble over the Zimmerman verdict. I just never dreamed that it would get this bad.

When Obama talked about “hope and change,” IN 2008, I read right through that mask and I knew that the Marxism and pro-radical Islamism and progressivism of sin (behind those words) would drastically hurt this nation. I did worry that O’s attitude towards his own grandmother (i.e. “typical white person” ) might hurt race relations. But I never expected it to burst into a full-blown hate the “crazy-ass cracka” mindset that it has developed into over the past 5 years.

When I saw and heard the testimony of Rachel Jeantel during the trial, I knew that millions of blacks are purposely exposed to hatred towards other races and purposely given a lack of proper and good education in order to keep such a mentality going. The lack of respect for elders, the poor vs. rich hatred, the black vs. white/Hispanic hatred, and worst of all, the political propaganda machine being spewed by the media of mass deception has kept them from getting out from under the Demoncrap trap of ignorance, distortion, and political disease that they have laid down and caused them to live under for decades.

The reason that the pro-Obama blacks HATE the conservative blacks who have escaped the train wreck of socialism is because they have been brain-dirtied into thinking that way. It is truly disheartening, to say the least. But what is the political/social/educational/b ehavioral etc. cure?

I do know the spiritual cure – Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
