Resolutions Anyone?

Anyone care to share your New Year's resolutions?

I already shared one. I want to write a book from vision to completion of what the culture needs to learn from, and through, the Biblical Christian faith and world view. A friend (thanks Anna!) advised me to look into publishing details. She suggested that I should become more knowledgeable about book publishing information. It appears that there are a lot of things to know in order to get started in the industry. So, I need to add that to my list.

What about you? What is (or are) YOUR New Year's resolution(s)?

Happy 2006 Christine! Much love from Irene, myself and the children.

My New Year's resolution is to draw closer to the Lord, spend more time in prayer and devotions, seek His will and pray for mighty things this year.

We're going to have more time with family; and my son is going to begin Little League! I believe this year will be a breakthrough for many.

I'm looking forward to an exciting year in ministry, my first book being published - and Irene's first children's book (for God's glory - not ours.)

I hope you have a wonderful year, and I pray this year will be one where our families can finally meet.

Blessings and much love to you and your family.

Love,

Stephen & Irene

Hi Christine!

Happy New Year! I've already done a post over at Stephen's on the subject. However, I have one resolution to add to the bunch over there:

Edit my book and find a publisher.

Blessings,
Anna

Hello Christine and Happy New Year!

Sorry, I'm a little late in posting. It seems I've had very little time to blog lately.

I did make a new year resolution. It's alot lot Stephen's - in that I want to draw closer to the Lord by reading thru my Bible in a year. I have never gotten all the way thru some of the old testament. Been thru the new several times. I am using Charles Stanley's In Touch schedule to read it in a yr. I hope I can do it this time!

I would also like to write a book, but really don't know where to begin. It seems I have heard so many times from others that I need to and it makes me wonder if that is part of God's will. I love to write, but really wouldn't know where to begin. So I am just gonna have to pray about that one.

I hope 2006 is a great year for you, my friend.
Love,
Jojo

Hi Jojo,

Happy New Year! It's great to see you posting here again. I know...the holidays are a busy time for us all. I have been busy with company for 2 weeks and a brand new puppy to train! I forgot how much work a new puppy is!!

Your resolutions sound wonderful. We can always get closer to the Lord! I've done the Charles Stanley read through the Bible in one year. It is truly helpful to keep on track.

Isn't it ironic that Anna, Stephen & Irene, you and me desire to write books about our love for, journey to, and salvation through the Lord?

When I met Carol Hopson at my Bible Study Christmas luncheon, she told me about a book that will help in making a decision about writing a book. It is called , "Yes You Can."

I have already read two of her books and they are wonderful! What a heart for the Lord she has!

Of course, when considering a writing venture we each need to pray about it too.

I think that Stephen & Irene's love story and their journey towards ministry in reaching homosexuals for Jesus Christ would make a terrific book...and movie! Hey! I've got an idea...if they make a movie about the book, maybe my daughter could make her movie acting debut as Irene in the story! OK Stephen & Irene?? heh heh...a mom can dream...can't she?

May 2006 be a blessed and wonderful year for you too, Jojo! The same good wishes go out to every one of my blogging friends!

Love,
Christine
