School teachers having sexual relations with their students – almost an epidemic in today's America, with cases and prosecutions being reported virtually daily in the press – will be discussed by WND Managing Editor David Kupelian, author of the bestselling book "The Marketing of Evil," on the national radio broadcast of the American Family Association Monday.

Kupelian wrote the cover story for the March edition of Whistleblower magazine, a piece that has since appeared on WND, titled "What's behind today's epidemic of teacher-student sex?"
Hosted by Tim Wildmon and Marvin Sanders, the program, "Today's Issues," airs weekdays and is broadcast on over 200 radio stations. Kupelian's interview is scheduled for 11:15 am Eastern (8:15 am Pacific).

Readers can find a station in their local area, or can listen to the broadcast online by clicking the "Listen Live!" button.

In addition, Kupelian's interview can also be heard online following the broadcast by accessing the "Today's Issues" archive page.

According to "The Marketing of Evil," Americans have come to tolerate, embrace and even champion many things that would have horrified their parents' generation – from easy divorce and unrestricted abortion-on-demand to extreme body piercing and teaching homosexuality to grade-schoolers. Does that mean today's Americans are inherently more morally confused and depraved than previous generations? Of course not, says Kupelian. But they have fallen victim to some of the most stunningly brilliant and compelling marketing campaigns in modern history.

"The Marketing of Evil" reveals how much of what Americans once almost universally abhorred has been packaged, perfumed, gift-wrapped and sold to them as though it had great value. Highly skilled marketers, playing on our deeply felt national values of fairness, generosity and tolerance, have persuaded us to embrace as enlightened and noble that which all previous generations since America’s founding regarded as grossly self-destructive – in a word, evil.

In this groundbreaking and meticulously researched book, Kupelian peels back the veil of marketing-induced deception to reveal exactly when, where, how, and especially why Americans bought into the lies that now threaten the future of the country.

Don Wildmon, founder of the American Family Association, had this to say about Kupelian's book: "Excellent! Simply excellent. If you want to solidify your Christian worldview – or just understand what the culture war is all about – you owe it yourself to read David Kupelian's 'The Marketing of Evil.'"

Exchange student abuse on the rise nationwide.

Dani has provided two links to her second blog with dozens of articles about sex predator teachers:

Parents, It's Time to Get Informed!

The "Trained Professionals" At Their Best.

After reading them, everyone should wonder why any sane parent might continue to trust the public school system with their children!

Hi Christine -

Another reason for the shocking surge in teacher/student sex and pedophile activity is the flood of pornography. What used to be under wraps is now brazenly out in the open and easily accessible.

Pornography is a deadly poison, which entices people away from true intimacy and connection to a world of fantasy, lust and ultimately acting out of perversion.

Judges, legislators and some of the general public equate liberty with an "anything goes" attitude. If they would look at history, they would see any nation which immersed itself in immorality ultimately destroyed itself.

I hope they will pass and enforce laws against the porn industry. It's time people begin taking a serious look at what this trash is doing to our nation.

Hi Anna,

Very good point! It seems that pornography is usually involved in some way in most sexual predator offenses these days.

David's book covers the scourge of porn, too. Perhaps he will mention it in the upcoming broadcast.

It doesn't help when we have a Supreme Court who ruled for "virtual child pornography" to be a "freedom of speech issue." That's just insane!

Gotta run...more later! Glad you are back commenting!

Excuse me?? To imply that Americans almost universally abhorred sex is just a bit of an exaggeration, isn’t it? Of course, we as a people have always practiced fairness and tolerance: ask any African American, or any Indian (if you can find one). I’m certain that the enlightened Ku Klux Klan also feels that noble American ideals are being destroyed in the name of fairness, generosity and tolerance.

Such pathetic drool, even for Kupelian.

This is just a way to divert attention from all those men of God who, over the years, have done similar things, isn’t it? Funny how no one’s ever called that a “near epidemic”.

GMpilot,

Have you read the book? Didn't think so. If you did, then you would have read that it is the aberant, dangerous, and illegal kinds of sexual activity which David discusses...the kinds that destroys lives, causes disease (including deadly ones), harms children (oftentimes for life), and breaks up marriages.

There is no denying that porn is self-destructive to the men who become addicted to it...and there are millions who are. Acting out on those urges has caused the epidemic of sex crimes against women and children (read up on MSNBC's "To Catch a Predator" if you don't believe me). We've seen the horrible results of porn "gone to far" in the deaths of little girls like Jessica Lunsford and scores of others.

Kupelian doesn't give the "pedophile" priest scandal a pass either. In fact, he prominently covers it in chapter 8 - The Media Matrix: How the press creates a world of illusion we think is real

He puts forth the big question: "What does the mainstream press condemn the Catholic Church for allowing predatory homosexuals to destroy the lives of boys while simultaneously condemning the Boy Scouts of America for trying to avoid precisely the same thing in their organization?"

So, GM, by your reaction here am I to conclude that you might be into porn and defending it?...even virtual (or actual) child porn? If so, then you are guilty of defending the indefensible.

You're probably a card carrying ACLU member too...an organization that even worse than the mafia. They should be bought up on RICO charges.

How "lovely" is this evil organization and their penchant for pro bono defense of horrendous groups like NAMBLA? ...

DISGUSTING! :-(

Hi Anna,

Thanks so much! You made my day! You were the first person to say that you noticed the new pic!

Did you notice the Neoboard too? If you scroll back to the beginning using the up arrow you can read the directions and come on and chat with me!

This is just another one of a million reasons why we homeschool our kids.

If you want more stories, you can sign up for google new alerts - just type in the words "teacher" "student" or "sex-predator" and before you know it your email inbox will be overflowing with articles about teachers having sexual contact with students. I had to cancel my news alerts after one week because there were too many to keep up with. It's a fun experiment if you want to try it out.

Hi Dani,

Thanks for all the info. All of this is just awful...isn't it? It's certainly very disheartening to read. I wonder...has this always been happening? Or, is it just more common over the last decade? Maybe teacher sexual predator abuse happened in past, but was kept secret back then?

The negative influence and impact of Kinsey on my generation (baby boomer)has caused an epidemic of child predators to explode upon today's children and teens. Knowing this makes me feel responsible, in a way, for the trauma being inflicted upon our youth today. It truly sickens me! It is one of the reasons why I am led to combat cultural sexual perversions as best I can through this blog, letters to newspapers, and evangelistic efforts.

Thanks for the links. I'm going to read them right now and then place them on the original post update.

Are you still talking with Deb? She has abandoned all conversation with me at this blog. I think it is a shame that Taylor may become very confused by her liberal influence...

Dani Kekoa said...

Hi Christine - No I haven't talked with Deb lately. I am washing my hands of this issue with her (at least for now). My husband and I did a radio show about her and Taylor last week and I will be posting it soon for people to listen to.

I think you offered her some great counsel and wisdom and the Lord will have to convict her heart in His timing.

One thing that was interesting was her latest advice on your other post:

"Be careful of what you read and preach. There are a lot of false doctrines out there that can baffle one’s conscience and beliefs."

Sounds like she needs to start taking her own advice because the devil has severely deceived her into believing a false doctrine. She is in my prayers, but for now I am staying away from the controversy.

I'll let you know when I post the radio show.

God Bless you for everything you are doing.

P.S. Thanks for hashing it out with Phronk and Ubersehen on my blog - they are something else huh?
