News Roundup Sept. 6th

Now THIS is certainly disturbing!!

I just wonder who the "government investigators" are that doctored up the video to make the marines appear guilty. Let me take a wild guess....the "investigators" are hard-core members of the eternal anti-Bush crowd!

Excerpt:

A video taped from a Scan Eagle unmanned aerial vehicle – purported to show the action that took place in Haditha when 24 Iraqi civilians and insurgents were killed – was heavily edited by government investigators, a NewsMax investigation reveals.

The reason, according to an inside source: to avoid showing anything that exonerates the Marines who were accused of murdering the victims.

Four Marines originally faced murder charges stemming from the Haditha incident. Charges against three of them have since been dropped, but Staff Sgt. Frank Wuterich is still facing a court martial.

NewsMax can reveal that the video – which was broadcast by CNN – was a small, carefully edited part of what the Scan Eagle transmitted during its daylong surveillance flight over the battle scene on Nov. 19, 2005. And shockingly, the approximately one hour of edited footage was the only Scan Eagle footage provided to the Marines’ defense teams by the prosecution.

According to CNN, “The video appears to show that, throughout that day, Marines engaged in fierce firefights and called in air strikes to level buildings - often with no definitive idea of who was inside."

Had the entire video been shown it would have revealed that the Marines knew exactly “who was inside” - insurgents were clearly shown entering the target buildings before the structures were bombed. If CNN had been able “to review the whole video, they would see that we did indeed have a definitive idea of who was inside,’" an intelligence officer told NewsMax.

Republican Presidential Debate

This is well covered by the usual bloggers.

HotAir has some good talking points and video clips.

The more I hear Mike Huckabee, the more I like him. Of course, he doesn't have the well-known name as others in the panel of contenders do. However, I really liked the way he took care of that loon Ron Paul!

Excerpt:

Here’s the first and quite possibly last highlight of a dreary affair — Mike Huckabee going toe to toe with the Only Conspiracy Theorist Who Can Save America. Don’t be thrown by the applause for Paul; his groupies turn out en masse for these events to try to create the impression that he’s doing better than 2% in the polls. Note the strain of conspiracy theorizing even here in the suggestion that it was a cabal of neocons, not the overwhelming majorites in the Senate and House that authorized the war and the 70% or so of the public that supported it, that’s to blame. Huckabee did a graceful job responding, as usual.

It's been a few days since I had visited Michelle Malkin's blog. It's always a great place to catch up on most of the important news items of the day.

Today, I was shocked and appalled to read a quote by liberal loonie-bin minded Geraldo Rivera. He thinks she's vile? Add yourself to the list Riv. Your comment is by far more vile and hateful than anything Michele has ever said! BTW, Michele has something that you conveniently try to ignore when it comes to illegal immigration. The rule of law...ever heard of it? Sheesh. He's an idiot!
Notable Quotables:

Michele Malkin is the most vile, hateful commentator I have ever met in my life...
She actually believes that neighbors should start snitching out neighbors, and we should be deporting people. It's good that she is in D.C. and I'm in New York. I'd spit on her if I saw her.

And, if Michele is getting blasted by the likes of illegal immigrant fanatic Rivera and loonie left daft Olberdummy then she's absolutely doing something right!!

Uber-olby-idiot!

Hmmm...this excerpt may give us hint as to the real reason why Kruddy Keith hates Michele so much:

Video: Olby names Michelle “worst person in the world” because Geraldo wants to spit on her

No typo. You probably glanced at that headline and thought he named Geraldo “worst person” for being a pig who fantasizes about spitting on his opponents. Nope. Michelle earns the honors because Olby wanted to repeat that bottom feeder’s disgusting comment on the show tonight without having to vilify a fellow traveler. So he squared the circle by giving her the prize instead. And in fairness to him, it’s true to nutroots form: with but one exception, there’s no insult the left deems beyond the pale as applied to MM, especially if it comes in the context of some juicy Fox News infighting. Why shouldn’t they welcome mustache to the club with a little formal recognition?

About that one exception, though. Let’s see if you guys can square a circle of your own. Watch this, then go watch the Olby clip here. Explain how A = B. Show your work.

I ask you...

Is this any way to treat a lady?

What stanky skunks these rabidly-vile erectile-disfunctional awful excuses for men are!

Could you imagine what would happen if anyone said such things about...say...Hillary Clinton?

The world as we know it would end!
