Obama's Campaign Mode Speech at the U.N.

From the portions that I heard, there was a little bit of fodder for every political pundit and voter in the speech. It was so obvious that Obama was in full campaign mode. I forced myself to listen to most of the speech. But since I was mostly interested in seeing how he would respond to the disastrous idea to give the Palestinian terrorist regime statehood via a U.N. resolution - without the input or consent of Israel - my attentive ear wandered a bit after that as I made coffee and breakfast.

Of course, Obama realized that it would be absolute political suicide for him to agree to the stupid U.N. declaration for Palestinian terrorist statehood (as much as he probably WANTED to agree to it). Since his approval ratings among the Jewish community here in the United States has plummeted, he went into a full throated 2012 campaign mode to try and regain their votes. I thought I even heard teleprompter attempts to sound a bit like former President George W. Bush in his support for Israel.

It was a bit of a relief, in my mind, that Obama would not go so far as to supersede the decades long negotiation processes that have been held between Israel and the Palestinian leadership through an idiotic U.N. resolution bid. We all know that since the Palestinians have an ongoing declaration against Israel (e.g. wanting to "wipe them off the map," and "shove them into the sea" etc.), peace between these two peoples will probably be an impossibility until the return of Jesus Christ.

While listening to a deceiver like Obama feign so much support and friendship for Israel, I could not help but recall the fact that the coming Antichrist is ultimately a deceiver who promises to bring world peace. During the end times tribulation period, the Antichrist will declare peace with Israel for 3 1/2 years, but turn against Her for the final 3 1/2 years (See Daniel 9:27, Daniel 11:36-37, 2 Thessalonians 2:4, Daniel 7:21-25; 8:24). Antichrist receives his power and authority from Satan himself (See Daniel 8:25; 2 Thessalonians 2:9-19).

If Obama ever succeeded in being re-elected (God forbid!), which is highly doubtful due to the utter and complete failings of his administration and all of the scandals it has wreaked upon our nation, I would not doubt that Obama would turn against Israel because he wouldn't have to worry about re-election ever again. Obama would continue to destroy our nation, too, in all ways possible: spiritually, economically, militarily, constitutionally, judicially, educationally and every other way that you could imagine. He would have nothing to lose at that point.

When I told my husband this morning that Obama was standing strong for Israel during his U.N. speech he said, "I don't trust him." I said, "I don't either" and reiterated all of my concerns if Obama ever got re-elected.
