News Roundup

The media bias against all of the Republican presidential candidates is so blatantly obvious that any person who hasn't figured this out must have been in an ObamaBot-Borg coma over the last three years!

According to a blogpost over at Legal Insurrection, the latest candidate being attacked is Newt Gingrich.

Newt is as “dangerous as a wounded wolverine,” according to Dan Rather (via Charlie Spiering via Drudge): I think what we need is a wounded wolverine, not a puppy dog or kitten, for a nominee. Expect the f...
If Newt Gingrich were to become the Republican nominee, he would verbally slaughter Obama in the debates!!  Although the media of mass deception would bring out past personal problems and governmental missteps about Gingrich, Newt would only need to attack Obama's horrible policies to show America how crucial it will be to boot Obama out of the White House!

Need more examples of liberal media bias?  How's this:

Where would this failed president be without his media support? CNN reporter Dan Lothian asked President Obama in Hawaii if Republicans are “uninformed, out of touch, or irresponsible” on waterboarding?
Obama is so uncouth and such a baby when he can't admit that he was wrong to bash Israel's Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu.  When Obama thought the microphones were off, he had a derogatory exchange with Sarkozy:

It's funny how Obama came out and supported the Occupy protests, but since the violence, rape, crimes, absolute filth and deaths have occured at these squatters camps, he stays silent.
Despite all his rhetoric, Obama has never spoken louder than what he hasn't said about what's going on all over America with the 'Occupy' movement.
How bad is it at these staged events?

“MSM becoming unhinged at thought of Newt”

Sure they are: they'll now have to immediately hire on a few more fact checkers, interview his ex-wives, recount once again his “achievements” as Speaker of the House, recount the 87 ethics charges he was facing during his Speakership, and list all the PACs he's either started or been part of since leaving Congress, and what/who they represent. Politics is Newt's life. He is one of those 'insiders' that the Tea Party Hatriots want to remove from Washington...unless they agree with him, of course.

Oh, yes: a couple of years ago, with little public fanfare, Gingrich renounced his membership in the One True Church and, in the words of HL Mencken, “succumb[ed] to the voluptuous Roman lure”. It may be presumed he did so partially to please Wife #3. Yep, he's a Roman Catholic now: it's more in line with his authoritarian views. In a presidential race where one's religious beliefs seem to be getting increasingly important (i.e., Romney), his switch may become an unwelcome factor. After all, it's been sixty years since we had a Catholic president.

    Bring it on.

Hmmm. I'll correct it myself: it's been fifty years since our Catholic president.
I'll bet the same questions will be asked that were asked in 1960: Will a President Gingrich take his orders from the people who elected him, or from an old man in a dress in Rome?

You've been on that side of the fence, madam. What is your opinion?
