Secular Idolatry of the "Coexist" Idea

There is an ongoing discussion regarding the topic of discrimination in the comment section of my previous post. You may want to read through them.

When it comes to this particular subject matter, those who want to push the radical homosexual agenda on people simply think that tolerance is a one way street.  Their intolerance towards those who hold to Biblical teachings, strong religious beliefs, personal rights, and free speech rights do not exist in their push to not only normalize homosexual behavior, same-sex marriage, and the teaching of homosexuality to kids as young as 6 years old in public schools; but they also use the term to purposely target and attack Christians.

Why?

I think that it is because they want to criminalize Christianity.   It's at the point where they don't even try to hide their true intentions anymore!  The evidence of their goal to criminalize the practice of the Christian faith is all over the place these days!

As was mentioned in my previous post, the truth is that the gay manifesto's goal is to establish a sodomite despotism.

It is an underlying goal and part of the nebulously entitled "coexist" movement.  Have you seen these bumper stickers on cars where you live?  They are a familiar sight here in California.  Saw one on a car on the freeway yesterday - it was plastered on the bumper right next to the Obama "2012' sticker.  You know - the one with "O" filled in with the commie artwork.

I have previously written about this "coexist" mantra in past posts.

Excerpts below from my former post on the subject "coexist."

A "Coexist" message made up with differing religious symbols that attempts to combine religious beliefs (which, in some cases are polar opposites of each other) cannot portray an honest type of message.

[...]

Another great read related to this subject:

Albert Mohler: Two Rival Religions?

Excerpts:

"The chief modern rival of Christianity is 'liberalism,'" Machen asserted. "Modern liberalism, then, has lost sight of the two great presuppositions of the Christian message--the living God and the fact of sin," he argued. "The liberal doctrine of God and the liberal doctrine of man are both diametrically opposite to the Christian view. But the divergence concerns not only the presuppositions of the message, but also the message itself."

Kainz offers a crucial insight here.  He is suggesting that one of the most important factors in the nation's cultural divide is that persons on both sides are deeply committed to their own creeds and worldviews--even if on one side those creeds are secular.

"This explains why talking about abortion or same-sex 'marriage,' for example, with certain liberals is usually futile. It is like trying to persuade a committed Muslim to accept Christ. Because his religion forbids it, he can only do so by converting from Islam to Christianity; he cannot accept Christ as long as he remains firmly committed to Islam. So it is with firmly committed liberals: Their 'religion' forbids any concessions to the 'conservative' agenda, and as long as they remain committed to their secular ideology, it is futile to hope for such concessions from them."

No wonder liberals hate true Christian believers so much! It competes with their secular IDOLATRY; and as Mohler states, "it is futile to hope for such concessions from them." Kind of destroys the idea of that "Coexist" propaganda...doesn't it?

The next segment explains the ObamaFRAUD mess and why he and his cohorts push their radical ideology upon an unwilling populace:

Looking back over the last century, Kainz argues that Marxism and ideological Liberalism have functioned as religious systems for millions of individuals. Looking specifically at Marxism, Kainz argues that the Marxist religion had dogmas, canonical scriptures, priests, theologians, ritualistic observances, parochial congregations, heresies, hagiography, and even an eschatology. Marxism's dogmas were its core teachings, including economic determinism and the "dictatorship of the proletariat." Its canonical scriptures included the writings of Marx, Lenin, and Mao Tse Tung. Its priests were those guardians of Marxist purity who functioned as the ideological theorists of the movement. Its ritualistic observances included actions ranging from workers' strikes to mass rallies. The eschatology of Marxism was to be realized in the appearance of "Communist man" and the new age of Marxist utopia.

Similarly, Kainz argues that modern secular liberalism includes its own dogmas. Among these are the beliefs "that mankind must overcome religious superstition by means of Reason; that empirical science can and will eventually answer all the questions about the world and human values that were formerly referred to traditional religion or theology; and that the human race, by constantly invalidating and disregarding hampering traditions, can and will achieve perfectibility."

Sorry ObamaFRAUD and cohorts - what you clueless people up there in Washington D.C. are doing is RUINING OUR CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC!!

Albert Mohler expresses the reasons why the liberal/progressive/socialist/communist ideologues can NEVER tolerate or peacefully coexist with Christians.  Their propaganda may work on some unsuspecting people or groups, but they don't fool those who belong to Christ and follow genuine biblical Christianity.

The "coexist" propaganda is bad advice when one thinks about eternity.  Jesus Christ said He is THE way to eternal life and no one comes to God except through Him (John 14:6). The apostle Peter said there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).

The advice from this Christian blog author is to invest your whole heart in Jesus! You see, being single-minded (while necessarily discriminating against all other religions) is the key to new life in Christ! It is why Christians, in particular, are targeted through man-made laws which are meant to not only challenge our faith, but to crush our faith and stall any influence in this world.  They are ultimately meant to even go so far as to criminalize, one by one, each and every tenet of our faith.

Some people refuse to take God's warnings seriously.  They doubt God's sovereignty and question whether or not He will really judge people who reject His offer of salvation.  Well, Jesus seemed to think so!  His words, recorded in the Gospel of John, are that the judgment of God will rest on all who reject God's gift of forgiveness and eternal life.  It's not a threat, but it is a warning.  And it's a warning that I think every person should heed!

Accepting the gift of salvation puts one on the road to a new life in Christ.  There is nothing better in this world!  So don't let the naysayers who spew garbage through the propaganda of one-way "tolerance" of aberrant behaviors, or the "coexist" gurus who use the symbol in order to steer people away from the saving grace of Jesus Christ catch you in the snare of their not-so-veiled trap.

Wow...It's good that I'm not on that 'coexist' sticker, huh?

When it comes to this particular subject matter, those who want to push the radical Christian agenda on people simply think that 'religious freedom' is a one way street. They remember the mantra of “no other gods before me” and, like Islam, seek to obliterate any gods that supposedly existed earlier. The local deities once worshiped by peoples in the Americas, central Africa, and east Asia are now gone, wiped out by the zealotry of Christian or Muslim usurpers. Those that remain are worshiped only in secret, in fear of being declared pagan or worse by the majority.

Their intolerance towards those who don't hold to Biblical teachings, or hold strong opposing religious beliefs (or no religious beliefs), support personal rights, and free speech rights, do not exist in their push to not only normalize Christian, and only Christian behavior. Their opposition to science, and the teaching of superstition to kids as young as 6 years old, even before they enroll in schools, is well known. They also use the term “idolatry” to purposely target and attack anyone who disagrees with their doctrine or behaves in ways they do not approve. Not suprisingly, the Ialamic strain also does this.

Why?

I think that it is because Christians—especially certain American strains—are deeply afraid. They claim to know who really controls the game, but the way they live their lives demonstrate the opposite. They have built themselves littl enclaves everywhere; they treat the fish emblem as a secret sign, much the same way they imagine the first Christians did; they claim to know the way to a better life, yet they are no less immune to vice than their neighbors. They gamble to excess, they commit adultery, they are as avaricious as the rest of society. They speak of how the sanctity of marriage is threatened by so-called 'sodomite despotism', yet an entertainer's 55-hour marriage came and went with little comment from these people. (That's okay; it was heterosexual.) As a demographic, Christians divorce at least as often as their neighbors do, which supposedly shouldn't happen! Instead of showing society a better way, they merely show their hypocrisy.

Beset by all this, they have chosen to direct their fury at a group of people others have traditionally been reluctant to defend. Much to their dismay, they have found that even the despised homosexuals (who mostly prefer to be left alone) are fighting back. Worse, they are gaining public support.
This has been reinterpreted by more radical Christians as yet another sign of the Apocalypse so many of them desperately long for.

Desperation and extremism go hand-in-hand, and while radical religionists and the Homosexual Empire race toward the finish line, the rest of us should turn our backs on both of them until one or the other starts making sense.

But you are on the "coexist" emblem. You are included under "Pagan."

Fear is a relative term. "Fear not" is written many times in the Bible.

Jesus told us many things in the Bible that give Christians confidence in their faith. Most importantly, he urged us to share the Gospel with others.

Mat 28:18
And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.

Mat 28:19
Go therefore[fn] and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

Mat 28:20
“teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.[fn]

Jesus made the point that his death and resurrection to life would produce "much grain" - a metaphor meaning many believers. Notice that despite the fact that he would suffer tremendously and die for all the sins of mankind, he states that he, the Son of Man should be glorified.

What's more, upon conversion to new life in Christ, we "hate" our former life of sin. This is an indication of repentance and of lifelong sanctification until we enter into his presence in eternity.

Jhn 12:23
But Jesus answered them, saying, “The hour has come that the Son of Man should be glorified.

Jhn 12:24
“Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain.

Jhn 12:25
“He who loves his life will lose it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life.

Jhn 12:26
“If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor.

Jesus also warned us that we would have trouble. However, the fact that he has overcome the world gives us eternal joy - no matter what happens on this earth.

Jhn 16:33
“These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will[fn] have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

After describing the "armor of God" in Ephesians 6, Paul instructs us:

Eph 6:19
and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel,

Eph 6:20
for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

Part of speaking boldly is to tell the truth about the need for confession and repentance of ALL sin - including the sin of homosexuality - which is sadly celebrated by the pagans of this world.

Why can we have joy despite all the chaos and turmoil going on in the world?

2Pe 2:20
For if, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the latter end is worse for them than the beginning.

1Jo 4:4
You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

1Jo 5:4
For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our[fn] faith.

I don't know how or when my work here will be finished. However, I am ready to meet my Lord when His perfect timing says so.

How about you? Are you ready?

Maybe you should have sent all those bible quotes to the owners of the former Sweet Cakes. It might have provided them with the 'strength for the journey' they apparently lacked.

”Fear is a relative term. "Fear not" is written many times in the Bible.”
Yeah, and so is “fear”. What's your point?

”I don't know how or when my work here will be finished. However, I am ready to meet my Lord when His perfect timing says so.

How about you? Are you ready?”

Yes, of course.
I don't wake up mornings thinking “I just might die today” and I doubt that you do either. That mindset is for soldiers in battle, or criminals in prison.
Why should a god who didn't want to meet me while I was alive want to meet me once I'm dead?

"Why should a god who didn't want to meet me while I was alive want to meet me once I'm dead?"

He did. You refused.

Next time, you have no choice.

GMpilot said...

Really, steve?
Did he tell you that?
Did he designate you to tell me that?

Or are you assuming some imaginary authority from this deity? If you are, that merely confirms my statement: he just doesn't want to meet me.
"Next time..." HA!

steve said...

Tell me how you're going to avoid meeting Him Mr. Pilot?

Oh, that's right, because you "don't believe it".

And I don't believe Russia really exists. I mean I've never been there and have never even met anyone who has. Anyone who says they have been there, I would view them as kind of weird.

Wow Steve...that's one stupid comment!

Hi Steve,

Sorry it took me so long to release your comment. I was away for a few days.

We just have to ignore the liberalism is a mental disorder types like Jenny. She obviously don't have the capacity to understand the metaphor you so excellently applied and shared in response to GM.

steve said...

Jenny! You hurt my feelings! NOT! Because you don't have a non-stupid response you claim my comment is "stupid".
Please try to be a little more specific ... oh that's right ... that's all your intelligence can handle. forgive me.

GMpilot said...

Never been to Russia, steve? Never met anyone who has? Gee, maybe you should get out more; we spent fifty years arming against an enemy who 'didn't exist'. C'mon, even Sarah Palin knows Russia exists!
BUT...that's not the same as this God existing. And you haven't explained why he told you to be his messenger to me when, according to all the stories, he preferred face-to-face communication. Obviously, if he exists, he just doesn't wish to meet me. Maybe he prefers to wait 'til I'm dead and can't talk back.

Anyone who claims to speak for a person they can't produce shouldn't snipe at other people about 'mental disorder[s]'. You owe Jenny an apology.
