Talk Wisdom Reports, You Decide: White House Scandal to Break Soon?

While taking a break from watching the World Series, I saw a new post up over at New Zeal entitled: White House Insider on Upcoming "White House Scandal". [Update: for some unknown reason, the post has been removed. However, the "White House Insider On Obama: The President is Losing It" post at New Zeal still exists.]

It is already Thursday, October 28th over in New Zealand. When I checked my favorites, the post had been up for only six minutes. It took me a long time to get through the two-part post and I still have other links and comments to read!

Hat Tip to New Zeal for alerting me to White House Insider - President Obama is Lost - Absolutely Lost.

As you will see when you visit the New Zeal blog spot, it can't be known for certain if the information being shared by the "White House Insider" is genuine or not. Therefore, this is a "Talk Wisdom Reports, You Decide" kind of post.

Excerpt from New Zeal:

In September I posted an excerpt from the article, "White House Insider On Obama: The President Is Losing It". Since this interview was published, nine other interviews with this "White House Insider" have been published. Note that because both the interviewer and the insider have remained anonymous, we cannot be certain that these interviews have not been fabricated. However read through them for yourself and see what you think.

Good morning Christine,

Thank you for giving the link and posting the OneNewsNow story about Dr. Jeremiah’s recent connection with the White house. I read every word.

Have a great day. Much love to you from the East coast to the West coast in one nation under God and to all of your worldwide readers. (ss)

I understand that not everyone who calls themselves a Christian believes that the bible has to be obeyed. As a member of the "restoration movement." I cannot have any other authority on earth that supercedes scripture. That being said, no person who believes in and lays their hopes in the perfection and completeness of NT scripture, can trash-talk our president or any lawfully elected leader of our United States. Romans 13:1-2 "Every person is to be in subjection to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God. Therefore whoever resists authority has opposed the ordinance of God; and they who have opposed will receive condemnation upon themselves."

1 Peter 2:17 "Honor all people, love the brotherhood, fear God, honor the king."

You are totally and unequivocally wrong and I can prove it by asking you one question. Did what you wrote apply to Hitler as well?

donna60 said...

Christinewj Yes it did apply to Hitler. In the first century CE, it applied to Nero, who was the Caesar who had Paul beheaded and Peter crucified. These were the two apostles who I quoted.

I'm not saying that I'm not frightened of a worldly government. I have just as much survival instinct as the rest of mankind--that is exactly how Satan does his dirty work. I pray for my president, and I'm not talking about that wicked nasty prayer on bumper stickers. I pray that my president makes decisions that keep my grandchildren safe.

On the other hand, I watch my ways and words, so as not to rebel against the word of God in this matter. It's a matter of faith. I obey this law, because the bible tells me to. I realize most Christians nowadays aren't sola scriptora. I however am.

donna60 said...

Christinewjc, The verses applied to Hitler and the applied to Nero. He was the Caesar who had Peter crucified and Paul beheaded. This was the emperor of Rome when both Paul and Peter wrote the words I quoted from.

It sounds to me like you are a believer. I like your choice of words. (ss)

I need to ask you some additional questions.

1. Are you applying Romans 13:1-2 to mean that God supports brutal dictators/groups and what they do to slaughter people - like Stalin, Lenin, Mao Tse-Tung, Saddam Hussein, Hitler (and his murder of millions of Jews - God's chosen people), and groups like the Khmer Rouge, Al Qaida, and the Taliban etc.?

2. If you answer "yes" to the above, are you saying that the wars fought against such tyrants were not sanctioned by God to occur?

3. What if it is found that Obama was not lawfully elected? There are lawsuits that claim that he is not a natural born citizen of the United States - which is required by Article II Section 1 clause 5 of the United States Constitution for the position of POTUS. Would your viewpoint still stand?

Clause 5: Qualifications for office
No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty-five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.

Obama's long form birth certificate has NEVER been shown to any person, including the judges in the cases. They have been dismissed by a politically motivated lawyer manipulation called "lack of standing."

Please see this blog and read everything there.

4. All of Jesus' disciples were murdered except John. Are you saying that such deeds are within God's perfect will - or is it more likely that because sin, evil and death came upon the world when Satan fell from heaven and Adam and Eve sinned, that it would be more logical that it is a result of God's permissive will?

Think about this.

While teaching the disciples to pray, why would Jesus (in the Lord's prayer) state:

Mat 6:10 Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven.

if God's perfect will was already occurring on earth?

Why would Jesus say:

Jhn 16:33 "These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."

if this world was already perfect and did not need saving? What did Jesus need to "overcome" in relation to what was happening in the world?

(con't next post)

Christinewjc said...

Why did Jesus state:

Jhn 8:23 And He said to them, "You are from beneath; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world.

Jhn 18:36 Jesus answered, "My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now My kingdom is not from here."

...if God's will was always being done on this earth?

More proof that there is a competing spirit (evil) in this world:

1Jo 4:3 and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.

How do we determine when someone is in the "spirit of the Antichrist"?

1Jo 2:18 Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour.

1Jo 2:22 Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist who denies the Father and the Son.

1Jo 4:3 and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.

2Jo 1:7 For many deceivers have gone out into the world who do not confess Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

If such a spirit of antichrist is in any particular leader, are we to dismiss God's written Word in order to obey such a person?

donna60 said...

Christine, that is a lot of questions I hope I answer them all.

In regards to the Kingdom of Heaven, According to Revelation 1:6, God has already made us to be a kingdom. You might also review Colossians 1:13 ""For He rescued us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son."

His kingdom, made up of His people, are indeed obeying His will on earth. Remember in John 17, Jesus said "I have given them your word; and the world has hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. I do not ask you to take them out of the world, but to keep them from the evil one. They are not of the world even as I am not of the world. Sanctify them in the truth. Your word is truth."

(You are probably thinking about every sin you have done today to prove to me that His will isn't being done) but that is this perfect little thing about the gospel isn't it? The person who has obeyed the gospel can not only confess his sins and be forgiven for them, but also have those sins forgotten by our Heavenly Father. In Hebrews it says He remembers our sins no more. We are the only faith on earth that we can go to sleep asking for forgiveness and wake up squeaky clean, and silky smooth, refreshed and strong, and ready to face another day, resolved to honor our Heavenly King more courageously than ever before. That is His will for us.

In addition we are safe as long as we keep within those kingdom borders. Maybe not physically safe, but spiritually safe. Both Paul and Peter knew they were about to be put to death, but they both felt safe. As far as God's will being done within His kingdom, it is.

Christinewjc said...

What you have written is all well and good and true. However, you did not answer my specific questions. Perhaps you need more time to do so.

Yes. I know that God's kingdom is inside the hearts of believers on this earth. However, we are still "in the world" which opposes Christ and His kingdom.

You touched on the subject when you wrote, "In addition we are safe as long as we keep within those kingdom borders. Maybe not physically safe, but spiritually safe."

We are to be salt and light on this earth and point the way towards Jesus. In fact, in the beginning, we were not called "Christians" (meaning Christ in one), the apostles and followers called the Gospel message of Christ "The Way."

I think that we are having a good discussion here and I appreciate your input.

I realize that some Christians do not differentiate between God's Perfect Will and His permissive will. An easy way to look at it is that human beings have been given free will to accept or reject God's provision for salvation through repentance at the cross of Christ. We know that in God's economy, He desires all to come to repentance. We also know that man's free will experience allows him/her to reject the only provision given by God (His Son, Jesus Christ) for us sinners (all of us) to be reconciled back unto God.

There are many heretical "Christian" sects and churches (mostly the liberal ones) that either reject or ignore the cross of Christ. The crossless gospel is no gospel at all! Only Christ's sacrificial death on the cross at Calvary and our repentance of sin and acceptance of Christ as Lord and Savior of our lives saves us from what all sinners deserve. Death.

Christ's resurrection from the dead proves who He is, and He alone saves us from spiritual death.

I realize that you probably know all of this. However, I like to include it in these discussions for the sakes of those who happen upon this blog and don't know Jesus Christ or the true Gospel message.

Oh, Christine, Sorry I didn't finish my thoughts. The truth is I worked midnights, and so I was pretty tired when I was writing. The I wrote out this whole thing which was rejected because it had too many characters. So I edited it and figured I would finish my thoughts later and hit the hay. I'll try to finish it today. I have church, and you know how people (women) get to yakking after services--tee hee hee. But I think I will finish my thougts today. Thank you for responding though.

The crossless gospel! Wow! We seem to think alike even though we seem not to think alike! It is this amazing thing what the word of God does in our hearts and minds, bringing those who love God not only closer to Him, but to each other.

The crossless gospel was the next thing I was going to write about, since I had to erase it last evening---urrrr!

Because that is what the anti-christ is and was! The proto-gnostics has begun infilterating the church in the first century with this bonafide craziness. Their were two types, the ascetics and the sluts, and both of them were just wrong as wrong could be. Their unity with each other was that they believed that the body and the spirit were divorced from each other. The spirit was all good, and the body was all bad.

So the way they had it figured was that Jesus wasn't really a human being, with a nasty physical body, but He was a Spirit. And since a Spirit couldn't be crucified.... And some of those gnostic texts claim that God put someone else on the cross instead.(What a nasty thing to say about God!) In any case, this is the principle of docetism, which was part and parcel of gnosticism, along with some other crazy.

The book of 1 John was written to address this disturbing philosohy entering through the pet doors of the Lord's Church. And if you look at 1st John, you can see that he frequently used the term "you can know." That was because the gnostics has this neat little trick in which they claimed that they were given this secret knowledge. And people who were given this secret knowledge were 'higher and holier than thou.'

You know exactly what I mean, don't you!

So in the first century, if we went to church together today, I would walk in all smug and know-it-all, and say to you: "I was given some secret knowledge last night, that I can't tell you." And you would be thinking to yourself 'What the heck?" Because the only thing you did last night was a sink full of dirty dishes before falling asleep almost before your head hit the pillow,-- and you are thinking 'What makes h-e-r so special?

The first time I studied gnosticism at church was when I was 17 in Wednesday night bible school. And it was complicated and boring, and I figured noone believes that anymore. Why do I have to learn this? But in actuality, gnosticism has been the abiding anti-christian philosphy. No one believes in Hera and Zeus, and Diana of the Ephesians anymore, but gnosticism is still alive and well. I wish I had paid better attention, because I had to learn it all over again by myself after Dan Brown's book came out. Have you read the gospel of Thomas? It's online, for free.

Wow! The crossless gospel! We must think very much alike even when it doesn't appear that we don't think very much alike, because the crossless gospel was what I was going to write about next. This is the amazing thing about the word of God. It brings us closer to each other, even as it draws us closer to God.

I had addressed this last night, before I had to erase it---uuuurrrrrrrr!

When John wrote his first epistle it was to address the false teaching of the proto-gnostics who had slithered into the Lord's church through the pet-door. There were two forms of gnosticism: the ascetics and the sluts and both of them were as wrong as wrong could be. Their core agreement with each other, however, was that the spirit and the body were divorced from each other, and the spirit was all good and the body was all bad.

The way they had it figured was that Jesus, who was all good, was really just a spirit, so He couldn't have been crucified. Some of those gnostic texts even claim that God put someone else up there on the cross. (What a nasty thing to say about God!)In any case, this principle is called docetism, and it is part and parcel of gnosticism.

You might have noticed the term "that you may know." used frequently by John in his 1st epistle. This was to address this concept of gnosticism involving secret knowledge. So these gnostics taught that they had this secret knowledge that made them holier-than-thou. And you know what I mean.

So if we went to church together this morning, I would walk in all smug and know-it-all, and say to you "God gave me some secret information last night, and I can't tell you."

And since last night the only thing you did was a sink full of dirty dishes , before you fell asleep as soon as your head hit the pillow, you would be thinking 'What makes h-e-r so special?'

You might have noticed that various elements of gnosticism are present in many religious groups these days. Gnosticism has been the prevailing anti-Christian philosophy in the world. People no longer believe in Zeus and Hermes and Diana of the Ephesians, but gnosticism in its many moods is still alive and well.

I first learned about gnosticism as a young girl in Wednesday night bible-school. It was complicated and boring, and the words are a hundred letters long, with no end in sight, and I thought that no one believed that anymore so why did I have to learn it? I should have paid more attention, because I had to teach myself all over again when Dan Brown's book came out. Have you read the gospel of Thomas? You can get it online for free.

In any case when John wrote that anyone who denied that Jesus came in the flesh had the anti-christ, he was addressing gnosticism. The crossless gospel! What a wretched theology! The idea that God didn't really love us that much. That He faked us all out, and put someone else up there instead because He was too good for us. The debt was not paid, and we are still being billed for our sins.

donna60 said...

I have so much to say about the filth of gnosticism, and the spirit of the anti-christ, and this is just not the place. In any case, I need to beautify myself for church. But I did want to say this one other little thing about gnosticism. And in regards to the function it serves as the spirit of the Anti-christ.

About a year ago I read an article online, that really moved me regarding 2 John and the chosen lady. The author of this article, and I am sorry to say I can't remember his name to give him credit, argued that the chosen lady was Mary, whom Jesus asked John to take care of.

In 2 John, John is comforting her because "decievers have gone out into the world who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This "(v7)

I had two little sweet baby boys. And I can remember every time someone (including myself) broke their hearts. I remember the looks in their soft baby eyes as they accepted that they had been deceived and mistreated by a fellow human being. And my heart broke too.

Can you imagine how Mary would have felt when this treacheous teaching started entering the Lord's church? She watched her son, her precious sweet-natured son being brutalized to death the way only the Romans could manage, with as much pain as they could intentionally inflict. And she watched it!

Only to have at the end of her life, have this filthy teaching flung in her face. That it hadn't really happened. That Jesus hadn't really been crucified. That is was a big fake, and Jesus had faked everyone out.

No wonder she needed comforted by John! How good these sweet words must have sounded to her.

"If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, He has both the Father and the Son. If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching do not receive him into your house, and do not give him a greeting for the one who gives him a greeting participates in his evil deeds.
Though I have many things to write to you, I do not want to do so with paper and ink; but I hope to come to you and speak face to face, so that your joy may be full."

From Sosthenes:

I agree with Donna60 on Romans 13:1-2 and God uses the Philistines and the Babylonians to judge and what makes us better than them when we all have sinned (Romans 3:24)? America is the biggest producer of pornography so why shouldn't we be judged? Hitler and others were a terror or avenger to those in the west and the other parts of the world who did evil. America has more riches and advantages than the rest of the world but the Bible says, "For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required" and if we want judgment than we should be careful of what we pray for because we all deserve judgment. Another point my grandmother said was the wore gold purses made out of gold in her day. They were flaunting their wealth in their day. I've seen the treasures from the Titanic on display and I verify that my grandmother was correct as an eyewitness. Dr. J. Vernon McGee says the sin of the 20's was pride and we have it today.

Question: Why was the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil allowed in the garden? Why wasn't it removed?

Question: Why did Satan still have access to heaven? Why wasn't he removed and why is he still the god of this world (2 Cor. 4:4)?

Why wasn't Aaron removed when he made the golden calf? Didn't Moses have the right to remove Aaron? Why does Satan still have position?

Christine, my apologies for not finishing up what I wanted to say about respecting authority. I thought my posts hadn't made it, and were wandering in cyberspace, when it took them so long to post, and I got fed up and went to bed, and then, time slipped away from me. So I wanted to finish what I had to say.

And the reason it is important is to give us courage. I am frightened all of the time. So just thinking about these things makes me braver. I hope you feel the same way.

Regarding kings.

I don't know how biblically knowledgeable you are. Different denominations regard the bible differently.

In any case, you might enjoy reading Daniel 11, understanding that verse 11:3-4 is prophesing Alexander the Great.

The reason Alexander is so important to Christians isn't because he was such a nice guy. Fact is, he trolloped across the globe, forcing counquered nations to become Greek. After him even more forceful hellenization occurred, and you have probably read the Maccabees account of what happened in Israel, under the reign of Selucid.

It was truely bad times for God-fearing people. However, during the Greek empire, the Septuigint was written, and actually, it was the text that Jesus quoted from.

What the Greek empire did for the church was to standardize writing, so that by the 1st century CE, everyone read and wrote in Greek. So, when Paul wrote from city to city, what he wrote could be understood by Christians from every nation.

The Greeks also, by publishing the Septuigint, introduced Jehovah to the nations. Greeks and Romans were already familiar with the writings of Moses and the prophets, and the Psalms, by the time Paul arrived into their towns. Recollect that there were already god-fearers in the cities that Paul reached. They hadn't become Jewish, but the feared God, and loved His word nontheless.

So, even though it would have been a terrible thing to have lived under the reign of Alexander and the Greeks, what they did, was prepare the way for the gospel.

We don't have to know why or how God works providence. The story of Alexander ends, you might say, pretty nifty. There is another king in 1 Kings 19:15, who Elisha was told to annoint king over Syria. That story isn't so happy.
We read about him again later in 2 Kings 8:8-15.

At that time, Elisha gazed at him, and burst into tears. When Hazael asked him why, Elisha said that it was because God had told him what Hazael was going to the people of Israel. "You will set their fortresses on fire, slaughter their finest young men, batter their children to death and rip open their pregnant women."

The way that Hazael became king was that he was asked by the king of Syria,to go to Elisha and find out if he was going to live or die from a sickness he had.

God told him through Elisha, that the king would recover, but that he would die.

What happened is that the king was getting better, and Hazael put a wet cloth over his face so that he suffocated to death. Then he became king. (2 Kings 8:8-15)

God obviously was in charge. He knew what would happen, and he allowed it to happen.

We talk about walking by faith, and that is what it about. I think you have the soft heart to understand what this means for us, and for our president.

I hope this gives you more courage and conviction to pray for our president. We certainly want to live peacefully and with enough wealth so that we don't watch our loved ones starve. We would like an environment where we can share the gospel freely, and discuss the bible freely.

Our president has the power to affect many of these issues. More importantly, you and I and the president all are in the hands of our Living and Righteous God.

The king's heart is like channels of water in the hand of the LORD; He turns it wherever He wishes." (Proverbs 21:1)
