Newsbusters.org: BREAKING: Romney Got ZERO Votes in 59 Philadelphia Voting Divisions! Zero!

Copy of post:

How can this possibly be?

According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, Mitt Romney on Tuesday received ZERO votes in 59 Philadelphia voting divisions! ZERO!

It's one thing for a Democratic presidential candidate to dominate a Democratic city like Philadelphia, but check out this head-spinning figure: In 59 voting divisions in the city, Mitt Romney received not one vote. Zero. Zilch. [...]

Most big cities are politically homogeneous, with 75 percent to 80 percent of voters identifying as Democrats.

As you might imagine, this is impossible.

But don't try to tell liberal media members that voter fraud is real.

Wow! What a phenomenon!

Being a native of Philly, I read this claim with interest.
Let's see, now. Here's what that Inquirer article actually says:

...In a city with 1,687 of the ward subsets known as divisions, each with hundreds of voters, 59 is about 3.5 percent of the total.
In some of those divisions, it's not only Romney supporters who are missing. Republicans in general are nearly extinct.
Take North Philadelphia's 28th Ward, third division, bounded by York, 24th, and 28th Streets and Susquehanna Avenue.
About 94 percent of the 633 people who live in that division are black. Seven white residents were counted in the 2010 census.
In the entire 28th Ward, Romney received only 34 votes to Obama's 5,920.
Although voter registration lists, which often contain outdated information, show 12 Republicans live in the ward's third division, The Inquirer was unable to find any of them by calling or visiting their homes.
Four of the registered Republicans no longer lived there; four others didn't answer their doors. City Board of Elections registration data say a registered Republican used to live at 25th and York Streets, but none of the neighbors across the street Friday knew him. Cathy Santos, 56, founder of the National Alliance of Women Veterans, had one theory: "We ran him out of town!" she said and laughed.
...Eighteen Republicans reportedly live in the nearby 15th Division, according to city registration records. The 15th has the distinction of pitching two straight Republican shutouts - zero votes for McCain in 2008, zero for Romney on Tuesday. Oh, and 13 other city divisions did the same thing in 2008 and 2012.
Three of the 15th's registered Republicans were listed as living in the same apartment, but the tenant there said he had never heard of them. The addresses of several others could not be found.
...In the entire city, Obama got 85 percent of the vote. His worst showing was in South Philadelphia's 26th Ward. There, the president garnered 52.3 percent of the vote, compared to 46.6 percent for Romney. (South Philly, BTW, has been an Italian-American stronghold for generations.) --GM
Paula Terreri, 57, a 26th Ward Republican who describes herself as a devout Catholic, said outside the polls on Tuesday that she voted for Romney because she opposed abortion.
Many parts of Philadelphia and other big cities simply lack Republican voters, a fact of campaigning that has been true since Franklin D. Roosevelt's New Deal, Stanford University's Rodden said.
In 2008, McCain got zero votes in 57 Philadelphia voting divisions. That was a big increase from 2004, when George W. Bush was blanked in just five divisions. (emphases mine --GM)

I'd bet that in what's left of New Orleans' 9th Ward, Romney probably got similar results. Heck, nationally, he received fewer votes than John McCain did in 2008.

Amazing what can be done with those 'Obama phones', ain't, it steve?
No matter where you decide to cherry-pick, the taste will always be bitter, this season.

Obama Voter Fraud

The list there regarding voter fraud and irregularites (like suppressing the military vote - thought you would at least be concerned about that) is massive!

Something is definitely wrong and when 20 states petition peacefully to secede it can't be ignored. Texas has already reached the threshold for White House response.

Serious stuff.

One comment (below) reveals the problem with simple but accurate clarity.

John commented:

"Reading them I think that America is already done, we can’t even talk to each other any longer. There are two Americas and we do not get along — AT ALL. One loves America and wants the destruction to stop; the other loves Obama and doesn’t care about anything else.

Sad."

According to the record, I posted exactly the same time you did, and in response to your 'fraud' story. It was attached to your Nov. 9 post regarding 'suppression of the military vote'. I'll repeat it here, since you seem to have missed it.

“Now, let's take a look at that 'report' from DuffelBlog you so eagerly parroted:

'FROM THIS SITE'S OWN 'ABOUT US' PAGE, A DISCLAIMER: The Duffel Blog serves the men and women of the US Military with a daily dose of military humor, funny military pictures, and faux news. We take an interesting and funny look at military life. We focus on veterans, military stories, defense, politics (sometimes) and life on base — with a comedic twist. We are in no way, shape, or form, a real news outlet. Just about everything on this website is satirical in nature. Who We Are If you’ve ever wondered who is behind all of this, it’s a highly-trained staff of writers that adopt the Duffel Writing Style. This style needs three points for the writer to be effective: a fair amount of creativity, a military background, and heavy drinking. And now, onto the legal disclaimers… Legal Crap The content of this site is parody. No composition should be regarded as truthful, and no reference of an individual, company, or military unit seeks to inflict malice or emotional harm. All characters, groups, and military units appearing in these works are fictitious. Any resemblance to real persons, living or dead, or actual military units and companies is purely coincidental. SERIOUSLY, ALL YOU PEOPLE WHO BELIEVE THIS IS REAL, STOP. JUST STOP. YOU NEVER PICKED UP MAD MAGAZINE OR WATCHED SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE? IT'S A JOKE, BUT IT'S A BIGGER, SADDER JOKE IF YOU BELIEVE ANY OF IT IS REAL, EVEN FOR A SECOND.'

Did I hear a bell? 'Cause someone's been schooled. Check it out on your own sources if you don't believe me.”

If you have some more concrete evidence, bring it. Better yet, take it...to the courts. But I still think that magic reset button will elude you.
Also, you have behaved exactly as I predicted; Rmoney lost, and you are blaming everyone and everything except the possibility that just maybe your god didn't think he was the best choice, either.
More to follow later on your secession statement.

If they want to secede, let them. I should hate to see the Union dissolved (or at least reduced), but...let them.
Alabama, Louisiana, Texas. Hm. That last has quite a good economy; I'm not so sure about the other two. Will Texas send aid to New Orleans the next time a storm hits? 'Cause there will be another Katrina-style storm eventually, possibly even this season...and there won't be any FEMA around then.
How many of the people who don't wish to secede will want to stay? Many will, I'm sure, for sentimental and economic reasons, but many probably won't. Assuming the Congress goes along with this...won't the citizens of the departing states be allowed a referendum to vote on it? Or will the inhabitants of Montana, North Dakota, Virginia and the Carolinas simply be frogmarched away by their legislatures?
Oh, and there won't be any slaves this time.

We'll require time to dismantle the Federal infrastructure. Close all the military bases, first. Relocate and expand what we can, and shut the rest down. Goodbye FBI, FDA, EPA, VA, The former state lines will now be international borders, so forget about the interstate highways. Atlanta-based Delta Airlines, the largest US carrier, will now be a foreign entity, like JAL and Lufthansa...and the laws prohibit flying a foreign airline inside the United States.

The tariffs will be pretty stiff, I expect, on items such as oil and tobacco, and it just might be cheaper to buy a Nissan actually built in Japan rather than the ones built in Tennessee. Some might be willing to pay $50.00 or more for a bottle of Jack Daniels. I don't drink it, so I don't care. But the makers of moonshine may find their business booming.
There would be, at last, TWO nations that play American football. But the number of baseball teams would probably drop.

Will the Tennessee Valley Authority cease to exist? It was built by, and has been maintained by, federal money for some 75 years. The last Fed worker would have to turn the power off unless someone is there to take over. And what about currency? Even South Korea, who is closely tied to the US dollar, prints its own money. There are only five US Mints: Philadelphia, Denver, San Francisco, West Point, and Fort Knox. If the new nation's economy is weak, we can't allow them to drag down our dollar; any items they might buy would have to be paid in US currency. Any idea how that might affect trade with, say, Europe, or China?
Could we live with the idea of North Dakota as a nuclear power?
And of course we would not be obligated to enter into any negotiations whatever with this breakaway nation, even if the separation were a peaceful one.

It all sounds to me like a foot-stomping temper tantrum. A year from now, or a generation from now, people may look back and ask themselves ”What the ____ were we thinking?!”, because I think it will take far more than losing an election to destroy the Union. If that's all it takes, then we've become a nation of sore losers and should be dissolved. The USSR couldn't do it, but we could do it to ourselves.
In the meantime, though, I'll keep an eye on Ft. Sumter...just in case.

Oh, one more thing: will you be moving to this populist paradise, hostess?

I did hear that the Duffel blog ended up being satire. I will correct it in the appropriate post. However, there are MANY more examples of voter fraud listed at that additional link (thanks to Steve for posting it at his blog).

I realize that nothing will be done about it. But perhaps the Benghazi scandal truth will ruin BHO's re-election. We shall see.

I heard about it four days ago, steve. I did not answer before I 'heard'-- I looked it up, just as our hostess should have done. I found the truth of the DuffelBlog story within hours, and attempted to post it here. Christine didn't feel the need to correct it even though she now acknowledges the error. She merely deleted it, and has not apologized to her readers for misleading them, as she was misled.

My memory's a bit hazy on this subject, but I've heard your sacred papers have a prohibition against bearing false witness or some such thing.
I'm not ashamed of telling the truth any more than you are.

Oh yes...typical liberal-leftist- lunatic-mind-boggling absolute and purposeful ignoring of all the other posts that are true regarding voter fraud!

For someone who doesn't believe in the God of the Bible, you certainly like to use quotes from it when convenient. Trouble is, you never apply them to yourself! Now...what's that called??

HYPOCRISY!

I'm still waiting for demonstration OUTSIDE the right-wing blogosphere that this 'voter fraud' has taken place. You all seem to believe it, but in law as well as real life, it's what you can prove, not what you can claim, that counts.

Since you won't listen to me, I figure you'd listen to the words of your god...but the things you say and write seem to indicate you don't listen to him either.

That passage didn't seem especially sacred...more like a news report.
