Talk Wisdom's goal is to defend the tenets and values of Biblical Christian faith. We defend our Constitutional Republic and Charters of Freedom, especially when speaking out against destructive social and political issues. As followers of our Savior and Lord, we should boldly stand up for Jesus Christ in our present circumstances. He is our Savior, Lord, and King, and His love needs to be shed abroad in our hearts and in our world - now.
"No matter what happens though, my trust is in God, He will provide, and while there may be much to fear in this world, there is nothing to fear in eternity." - Matt Wiser
Only the lifting of the soul by the Spirit of God can overcome the downward pulling of the earth and darkness. - Stevex09
The cause we are engaged in is so just and righteous that we must try to rise superior to every obstacle in its support.--George Washington 1775
"In this book, I want to help you find the truth about what is going
on. I want to show you that while our age is certainly fractionated," it need not be scary - not for Christians who trust the Lord and know how to read the signs and understand coming events. [Y]ou will recognize the clues that God has given us to find peace in "our terrifying age." [B]ut mostly, I hope this book will help to "Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid" (John 14:27)."
Proverbs 2:2-5: "Make your ear attentive to wisdom, incline your heart to understanding; for if you cry for discernment, lift your voice for understanding; if you seek her as silver, and search for her as for hidden treasures; then you will discern the fear of the LORD, and discover the knowledge of God" (NASB).

At an unnamed date, the student panel could decide to issue a warning to, suspend or expel the GOP club from campus.
Or they could say there is no substance to the claims. Someone laid a complaint so the complaints process is at work.
Why the overhyping? Wait for a result before making judgements.
Christine, have you ever visited the blog of one of my blog friends, Nancy French? She's a published author, an evangelical Christian, and her husband is a lawyer with the CEnter for Academic Freedom. They fight for the rights of Christian students on college campuses. I think you would enjoy her blog.
Her blog can be found at:

I'm with ebsfwan on this one. The University seems to have a process in place for these complaints and the process has started rolling. Let it play out.
Regardless of the outcome, I seriously doubt any court would uphold it. Seems a classic instance of free speech to me.
Thanks Jaded, I'll check out that blog.
Ebsfwan and Limpy,
What is being missed by both of you (IMO) is the hypocrisy in all of this. The fact that Christianity can be bashed on a routine, regular basis at college campuses and elsewhere in indisputable (Remember the Virgin Mary statue splattered with dung? Remember the crucfix submerged in urine? Remember the "gay" Christ play?), but when it comes to Islam, freedom of negative speech against that particular religion stops at the university doorstep.
Could you imagine the uproar if a group of conservatives wanted to put on a play depicting Muhammed as gay? What an uproar would ensue! Heads would roll...literally!
The American flag can be burned, spat upon and stomped on, but the Islamic flag is considered "sacred" and off limits?
Sheesh...
I thought that most secular progressive universities and colleges wanted religion out of campus life. Why embrace and defend Islam then? It doesn't make sense. Unless, of course, they're on to something...
Yes!
I know what it is they have in common!
They have figured out that Allah is a false god and secular progressives can certainly embrace that!
Don't want anything as pesky as absolute truth to get in the way of their agenda!
