I'll brave the lion's den but let me point out first that I do this as a living - research and that this questionaire would not get past my ethics committee as the questions are loaded. And a lot of them are not simple yes/no.

Religious Freedom Issues

1. Do you support efforts to uphold the rights of religious freedom and expression in public life?

Yes.

2. Should pastors and others be allowed to publicly speak out against sexual sins, including homosexuality, without fear of being charged with a "hate-crime" and without jeopardizing the tax-exempt status of their churches?

Yes to the hate crime. Not sure about the tax exempt status.

3. Do you support protecting the public display of the Ten Commandments from the attacks of groups such as the ACLU?

No. However, I do support the display. I just think that there should be a right to challenge it.

4. Should students have the right to pray in public school classrooms, at sporting events, and graduation ceremonies?

Yes. This goes for all religions. ;)There is nothing stopping silent prayer. :)

Government Issues

1. Should evangelical pastors and people back away from America's traditional pro-Israel stance, in light of the recent Hezbollah offensive and the anti-Christian rage of the radical Islamists?

Loaded question. This issue is bigger than a yes/no. I'll say No to this specific question.

2. Is the United Nations a more trustworthy authority than the government of the United States?

With the current government I'm afraid that I would have to say yes.

*******

Court Issues

1. Should the President choose Supreme Court Justices and federal judges who will interpret the Constitution strictly, without legislating from the bench?

Not sure. There are good arguments both ways.

2. Should the Senate be barred from endlessly debating and stonewalling the President's judicial selections?

No. If the Senate opposes a selection that strongly then it should not be made.

3. Should the U.S. Supreme Court uphold the federal ban on partial-birth abortion?

Yes. Once the baby is formed then it should be allowed to live.

*******

Media/Television Issues

1. Do you believe that the national media report Christian, moral, and religious issues in an unbiased manner?

No.

2. Do you support efforts to persuade advertisers and television networks to clean up "trash TV" and offer more family valued programming?

Yes.

3. Do you favor the restriction of homosexual displays of affection in the media?

No.

*******

Sexual Morality Issues

1. Should homosexual couples have the same rights of marriage as heterosexual married couples?

Yes.

2. Should Congress pass and the states ratify a constitutional amendment that limits marriage to a man and a woman?

No.

*******

Education Issues

1. Should schools promote homosexuality as an acceptable lifestyle?

Yes.

2. Should schools be required to teach evolution as a theory rather than a fact?

Yes. They already do teach it as a theory. This is a common mistake by non scientific people. A good scientific theory is very close to fact. :) e.g. theory of gravity.

3. Should schools teach that women have a constitutional right to end the life of their unborn child by having an abortion?

Yes. Because at the moment they do.

4. Should schools teach about contraceptive use?

Yes! Abstinence generally does not work. So more contraceptives = less abortions.

5. Should schools teach that only abstinence protects against sexually transmitted diseases?

Yes, as this is true. However, they should also teach about protection.

6. Should schools be required to teach traditional American history - including our religious and moral heritage?

Yes, with the caveat that just because things were approved of in the past e.g. slavery does not mean they are a moral good.

*******

Family Issues

1. Do you support the ban on partial-birth abortion and believe that we should support efforts to defend the law in federal court?

Yes. This has already been asked.

2. Do you support legislation requiring abortionists to tell women about the extreme pain their unborn child will experience during the abortion procedure?

Yes. Depends on the kind of abortion. Early abortions have no pain as there in no central nervous system developed.

3. Should parents be allowed to raise, discipline, and educate their children free from government interference?

No. There are too many bad parents out there. There should be certain standards held to.

4. Should girls under 18 be allowed to obtain abortions without parental knowledge or consent?

Not sure. I can see the arguments both ways here. I'd lean more to No.

5. Should taxpayer dollars flow into abortion provider organizations like Planned Parenthood?

Yes. It's legal right now.
*******

Faith Issues

1. Did you read your Bible more in the past year than the year before?

Yes.

No.

Yes.

I'm with Ebsfwan on this one. I'll give it a shot, but these are loaded questions that can't really be boiled down to yes/no.

1. Do you support efforts to uphold the rights of religious freedom and expression in public life? Y

2. Should pastors and others be allowed to publicly speak out against sexual sins, including homosexuality, without fear of being charged with a "hate-crime" and without jeopardizing the tax-exempt status of their churches?

Y, assuming their stance doesn't leak over into recommending political candidates or referundum results.

3. Do you support protecting the public display of the Ten Commandments from the attacks of groups such as the ACLU?

N, assuming your talking about displaying it on state grounds. Y if they are private grounds.

4. Should students have the right to pray in public school classrooms, at sporting events, and graduation ceremonies?

Y, to themselves.

Government Issues

1. Should evangelical pastors and people back away from America's traditional pro-Israel stance, in light of the recent Hezbollah offensive and the anti-Christian rage of the radical Islamists?

Can't answer, I'm not an evangelical.

2. Is the United Nations a more trustworthy authority than the government of the United States?

Y, but then, given the current administration, I'm not sure that's a ringing endorsement of the UN.

Court Issues

1. Should the President choose Supreme Court Justices and federal judges who will interpret the Constitution strictly, without legislating from the bench?

Depends on what you mean by "strict interpretation" I will say N, as I think this best represents my position here. A very broad question, the answer is too simple.

2. Should the Senate be barred from endlessly debating and stonewalling the President's judicial selections?

HA-HA! A wee bit of a bias in the question. I will say N.

3. Should the U.S. Supreme Court uphold the federal ban on partial-birth abortion?

N

Media/Television Issues

1. Do you believe that the national media report Christian, moral, and religious issues in an unbiased manner?

Y

2. Do you support efforts to persuade advertisers and television networks to clean up "trash TV" and offer more family valued programming?

I can't fairly answer this. Yes, there's a lot of TV that's jsut crap out there. But no, I don't look to government to get rid of it.

3. Do you favor the restriction of homosexual displays of affection in the media?

N

Sexual Morality Issues

1. Should homosexual couples have the same rights of marriage as heterosexual married couples?

Y

2. Should Congress pass and the states ratify a constitutional amendment that limits marriage to a man and a woman?

N

And by the way, thes arefair and unbiased ways to ask such questions.

Education Issues

1. Should schools promote homosexuality as an acceptable lifestyle?

Y, although the word "promote" bothers me.

2. Should schools be required to teach evolution as a theory rather than a fact?

N. They should be required to teach it as a fact. And I assume that this is public or state accredited school here.

3. Should schools teach that women have a constitutional right to end the life of their unborn child by having an abortion?

Well, yeah, if they're teaching constitutional law.

4. Should schools teach about contraceptive use?

Y

5. Should schools teach that only abstinence protects against sexually transmitted diseases?

N, but it is the only 100% effective way, and they should acknowledge that.

6. Should schools be required to teach traditional American history - including our religious and moral heritage?

Oh boy. N. You had me until "our religious and moral heritage"

Family Issues

1. Do you support the ban on partial-birth abortion and believe that we should support efforts to defend the law in federal court?

N

2. Do you support legislation requiring abortionists to tell women about the extreme pain their unborn child will experience during the abortion procedure?

N

3. Should parents be allowed to raise, discipline, and educate their children free from government interference?

Y, to a point. Keeping 11 kids in chicken-wire cages probably requires some intervention.

4. Should girls under 18 be allowed to obtain abortions without parental knowledge or consent?

Y, but I feel icky about it.

5. Should taxpayer dollars flow into abortion provider organizations like Planned Parenthood?

Y

Faith Issues

1. Did you read your Bible more in the past year than the year before?

Beleive it or not, Y.

2. Did you share the Gospel with more people in the past year than the year before?

Y, if you count arguing about Jonah with you.

3. Did you attend church more in the past year than the year before?

N

4. Did you share your Christian point of view in the last year more than the year before?

Doesn't apply.

Confidence Issues

Do you trust each of the following groups?

Religious Freedom Issues

1. Do you support efforts to uphold the rights of religious freedom and expression in public life?

Yes.

2. Should pastors and others be allowed to publicly speak out against sexual sins, including homosexuality, without fear of being charged with a "hate-crime" and without jeopardizing the tax-exempt status of their churches?

Yes to the hate crime. Tax-exepmt status should only be granted to those who have been educated and fully ordained by a recognized group. No one should be allowed to hang up their shingle and call themselves a pastor with the same privileges afforded to those who took the time to study from those with more insight and wisdom.

3. Do you support protecting the public display of the Ten Commandments from the attacks of groups such as the ACLU?

No. I believe that the display of the 10 Commandments should be allowed, and that people should then be allowed to voice their opinions of it.

4. Should students have the right to pray in public school classrooms, at sporting events, and graduation ceremonies?

Yes, as long as it is an optional situation, and not one forced upon any student. Forcing someone to pray is just as wrong as stopping someone from praying.

Government Issues

1. Should evangelical pastors and people back away from America's traditional pro-Israel stance, in light of the recent Hezbollah offensive and the anti-Christian rage of the radical Islamists?

No. If the radical Islamists expect to be tolerated, they must do the same in return.

2. Is the United Nations a more trustworthy authority than the government of the United States?

No, with power comes corruption, as they have shown over and over again.

*******

Court Issues

1. Should the President choose Supreme Court Justices and federal judges who will interpret the Constitution strictly, without legislating from the bench?

In theory, yes. However, it only works if the President chooses without a personal agenda, and we know that doesn't happen. They choose candidates they think will rule in a specific manner.

2. Should the Senate be barred from endlessly debating and stonewalling the President's judicial selections?

No. The President is not a dictator, and therefore should be subject to an intense review of his choices.

3. Should the U.S. Supreme Court uphold the federal ban on partial-birth abortion?

Another hard one for me. Will allowing the child to be born kill the mother? Over all, yes, it should be upheld, but there are cases which might make me think otherwise.

No. But I do believe that stricter guidelines should be enforced involving all sexualty on television. Nudity, sexually explicit dialogue and scenes etc., should be limited to timeslots after 9PM.

*******

Sexual Morality Issues

1. Should homosexual couples have the same rights of marriage as heterosexual married couples?

Yes. Although, I think the term "marriage" denotes a religious covenant. Churches have the right to refuse to marry gay couples. I don't believe that the government has the right to refuse civil ceremonies based on religious reasons. I also don't think that a man and woman who get married at city hall should be called "married" either, because again, I think it's a religious covenant.

2. Should Congress pass and the states ratify a constitutional amendment that limits marriage to a man and a woman?

No, not in spirit. Although the term "marriage" might be at issue.

*******

Education Issues

1. Should schools promote homosexuality as an acceptable lifestyle?

I don't believe schools should be used as vehicle for teaching morality in the first place. I don't think they have the right to validate one lifestyle over another. I do think they should acknowledge that it exists without saying it's right or wrong.

2. Should schools be required to teach evolution as a theory rather than a fact?

As was already stated, evolution is taught as the "theory of evolution."

3. Should schools teach that women have a constitutional right to end the life of their unborn child by having an abortion?

Yes. Issues of morality should be taught at home and in church, not at school. Women DO have the right to choose that option, so it should be taught as a fact.

4. Should schools teach about contraceptive use?

Yes! But I don't think they should dispense condoms. I think they should also teach abstinence.

5. Should schools teach that only abstinence protects against sexually transmitted diseases?

Yes, because it's a scientific fact. They should also teach about contraception if it's a public school.

6. Should schools be required to teach traditional American history - including our religious and moral heritage?

Yes because history cannot be changed. It should be taught without bias, however. No moral compass should be used.

*******

Family Issues

1. Do you support the ban on partial-birth abortion and believe that we should support efforts to defend the law in federal court?

See my above answer.

2. Do you support legislation requiring abortionists to tell women about the extreme pain their unborn child will experience during the abortion procedure?

Yes. Women should be given all of the information necessary to make an informed decision.

3. Should parents be allowed to raise, discipline, and educate their children free from government interference?

Not entirely, no. That allows too much room for people to abuse their children.

4. Should girls under 18 be allowed to obtain abortions without parental knowledge or consent?

No. If the school can not dispense a Tylenol to my child without a doctor's note, no one should be allowed to perform major surgery on her without my consent. There are great risks to a woman from an abortion, including death, so a parent must be informed.

5. Should taxpayer dollars flow into abortion provider organizations like Planned Parenthood?

Yes, as long as information about adoption is also provided.
*******

Faith Issues

1. Did you read your Bible more in the past year than the year before?

Yes.

2. Did you share the Gospel with more people in the past year than the year before?

No. I've always shared my faith freely.

3. Did you attend church more in the past year than the year before?

No. I've always been a regular church goer.

4. Did you share your Christian point of view in the last year more than the year before?

Nope, I've always been vocal about my beliefs, even when I know others will disagree.
*******

Confidence Issues

Religious Freedom Issues

1. Do you support efforts to uphold the rights of religious freedom and expression in public life?

Yes. I actively support organizations like CWA, Alliance Defense Fund and California Campaign for Families which fight against groups backed by the ACLU who often target, and have as their goal, to eliminate Christian religious freedom and expression in public life.

2. Should pastors and others be allowed to publicly speak out against sexual sins, including homosexuality, without fear of being charged with a "hate-crime" and without jeopardizing the tax-exempt status of their churches?

Yes. As long as pastors do not specifically endorse any candidate, just emphasize the issues that are biblically based, then the tax-exempt status should remain intact.

3. Do you support protecting the public display of the Ten Commandments from the attacks of groups such as the ACLU?

Yes. If the ACLU had their way, they would eliminate any display of the Ten Commandments from any and all public sites. Our laws in the U.S. had their beginning, and are based upon them. Displaying them has historical significance and deserves to be in public view as much as any one of our founding documents.

4. Should students have the right to pray in public school classrooms, at sporting events, and graduation ceremonies?

Yes. Unfortunately, cases on this have come up where school administrators often squelch or refuse to allow valedictorians (who happen to be Christian) to even mention the name "Jesus Christ" as significant in their lives. That is wrong for school officials to do because it is definitely protected speech.

Government Issues

1. Should evangelical pastors and people back away from America's traditional pro-Israel stance, in light of the recent Hezbollah offensive and the anti-Christian rage of the radical Islamists?

No. Politically speaking, Israel is one of our most significant allies in the war against terror. Biblically speaking, the Scriptures tell us that "God will bless those who bless Israel." Our alliance with them is more than political, it is also spiritual. Our Constitution allows us to have religious freedom of speech, freedom of association, and freedom of practice. Therefore, the pro-Israel stance has both political and religious benefits.

2. Is the United Nations a more trustworthy authority than the government of the United States?

A BIG FAT NO!! Of course not! I won't take the time to list all the scandals of the U.N., but it is a do-nothing, corrupt and useless organization.

The U.S. has been a country that has freed more people from tyranny, oppression, vicious killers and dictators than any other on the planet. We are doing an honorable thing in Iraq against radical Islamic terrorism, just like we did when we defeated Nazi Germany and Communism.

*******

Court Issues

1. Should the President choose Supreme Court Justices and federal judges who will interpret the Constitution strictly, without legislating from the bench?

Yes. This is the original status that judges were elected for. Legislating from the bench means that they are either going against the will of the voters, stomping on the branch of government that is meant for our elected representatives and senators to deal with, or both.

2. Should the Senate be barred from endlessly debating and stonewalling the President's judicial selections?

Yes. Usually, this is done by the Democrats because they don't like the current President's stand on abortion. They perceive his judicial nominee choices as "anti-abortion." Stonewalling a judicial selection because of one issue is ridiculous. The Republicans didn't stonewall Ruth Bader Ginsburg, a pro-abort and one of the most liberal judges on the court today. I'm sure that many Conservative Republicans disagreed with her ideology. But they didn't use just one issue to keep her off of the court. Too bad that the Democrats don't offer the same type of courtesy towards our current nominees.

3. Should the U.S. Supreme Court uphold the federal ban on partial-birth abortion?

Yes. Abortion is awful in the first place. In the second place, the Roe vs. Wade decision took state's rights away on the subject. PBA is rarely needed in the case to "save the mother's life". It is often used because the mother-not-to-be waited too long to have the abortion. It's a despicable procedure that should be banned for good.

*******

Media/Television Issues

1. Do you believe that the national media report Christian, moral, and religious issues in an unbiased manner?

No! Of course not! Most of the time, they use the news (and TV shows) in order to bash Christians and their beliefs. The good news about what Christians are doing for, and in, our country doesn't get the air time it deserves. I'm glad to see that the show "Hannity's America" often cites a "great American" at the end of the show. Recently, several Christian seniors were highlighted showing all that they do for other people who may not have family to visit and/or help them in life.

2. Do you support efforts to persuade advertisers and television networks to clean up "trash TV" and offer more family valued programming?

Yes. I think that it is VERY important to voice our opinions (and pocketbooks) against the advertisers who sponsor trash TV programs. This method works, but isn't done nearly enough these days. Therefore much trash continues on TV.

3. Do you favor the restriction of homosexual displays of affection in the media?

Yes.

*******

Sexual Morality Issues

1. Should homosexual couples have the same rights of marriage as heterosexual married couples?

No. Marriage has, is and always will be defined as a union of one man and one woman. It is a covenant created by God himself; much to the chagrin by those who do not believe in Him.

2. Should Congress pass and the states ratify a constitutional amendment that limits marriage to a man and a woman?

Yes. Precisely because we need to protect the legislation passed in the states that VOTED to KEEP the definition of marriage to be a union of one man and one woman. Why? 1. Because of activist judges (like the one in Massachusetts) who would use their liberal left ideology and LEGISLATE FROM THE BENCH!. 2. This would prevent the courts from being tied up with frivolous lawsuits sponsored by the ACLU and their clients.

*******

Education Issues

1. Should schools promote homosexuality as an acceptable lifestyle?

No.

2. Should schools be required to teach evolution as a theory rather than a fact?

Yes. It is unfortunate that "the powers that be" in the liberal schools do not allow even a mention of alternative theories. There are hundreds of legitimate scientists who find evolutionary theory flawed. Heck!! Scientists can't even agree whether or not "global warming" exists, or what causes it. How can they be sure that they have their "facts" straight about the origin of man? Science is always striving to "catch up to God".

3. Should schools teach that women have a constitutional right to end the life of their unborn child by having an abortion?

I would say "No" if that is all that they teach. The Constitution does not claim that women have the right to end the life of their unborn child. The main reason abortion was made legal happened because marketers of evil duped the public into believing their deceptions (included numbers of abortions already being performed illegally and the number of deaths of women from such abortions).

If teaching it in schools is inevitable, then they should also teach the pro-life arguments, consequences of the physical, emotional, and spiritual harm that often results from women who regret their decision to go through an abortion; not to mention that it is murder of the unborn baby (yeah...the truth hurts). Teaching both sides of an issue is the real choice. Brainwashing to one ideology is not choice.

4. Should schools teach about contraceptive use?

Yes. However, they need to be honest about what contraception DOES NOT protect them from. Also, the failure rate of condoms in preventing pregnancy. Also, the fact that condoms don't protect against HPV.

5. Should schools teach that only abstinence protects against sexually transmitted diseases?

Yes. It should be emphasized.

6. Should schools be required to teach traditional American history - including our religious and moral heritage?

Yes. Students today are sorely lacking in the knowledge of our Christian heritage. Whether the liberals like it or not, Judeo-Christian philosophy is what formed our nation in the first place. Our democratic-republic and documents were formed by God-honoring people. It is because of this fact that people of all races, backgrounds, beliefs, religions and nationalities enjoy the freedoms that they do here.

Ask yourself this. If you are a homosexual, would you rather live in a Muslim country or the U.S.? Sha'ria law advocates killing you! Judeo-Christian philosophy offers, but does not force, salvation and new life through the Person of Jesus Christ.

*******

Family Issues

1. Do you support the ban on partial-birth abortion and believe that we should support efforts to defend the law in federal court?

Yes. This isn't the same question as above. The reason this question is presented is because of the fact that this law was passed in Congress and signed into law by President Bush. However, an activist judge (no surprise!) decided to strike down the law as "unconstitutional." Well...I don't see anything in the Constitution that says a woman should have the right to kill her unborn baby.

2. Do you support legislation requiring abortionists to tell women about the extreme pain their unborn child will experience during the abortion procedure?

Yes. I think that this might help women make the CHOICE not to abort their unborn children.

It is extremely ironic to me. Back in the 70's when women wanted abortion to be legalized, the catch phrase was, "make it safe, legal and RARE." Trouble is, everything done since then by the pro-death aborts attempts to do everything BUT the "RARE" claim.

Why?

One word: MONEY!

The abortion industry is a money making machine. They don't care about the women or the over 60 MILLION DEAD BABIES!

Another thought: If most of those 60 million babies were allowed to live, perhaps we wouldn't be facing the bankruptcy of the social security program for those under the age of 50 today!

3. Should parents be allowed to raise, discipline, and educate their children free from government interference?

Yes. And, I do think that the question should have been worded more accurately. Of course, if a child is being abused by one or more parents, then the existing laws cover the need for the state to step in. That isn't really the issue with this question (IMO). I think it is geared more towards what is happening in our public schools regarding the push for the homosexual agenda; or any other liberal causes (like anti-war sentiment) being pushed upon our children. Let the children BE CHILDREN! Don't bombard them with unwanted moral issues or social issues...especially when it goes against the parent's rights and religious beliefs!

4. Should girls under 18 be allowed to obtain abortions without parental knowledge or consent?

No. Does it make sense that she can't even get her ears pierced at the mall without parental consent if she's under age 18 but she can get an abortion? That's totally insane...

5. Should taxpayer dollars flow into abortion provider organizations like Planned Parenthood?

No. I certainly don't want my tax dollars going toward the killing of innocent, voiceless human beings in the womb.

*******

Faith Issues

1. Did you read your Bible more in the past year than the year before?

About the same. I read a portion (or a few verses and/or devotional) of it almost every day.

2. Did you share the Gospel with more people in the past year than the year before?

Yes.

3. Did you attend church more in the past year than the year before?

No. Not always physically at a church. Can access online. Various reasons for this change in our lives that I won't bore you with.

4. Did you share your Christian point of view in the last year more than the year before?

Probably the same.

Confidence Issues

Pastors? Most of the time. I seek out those who hold Biblical standards in all that they do and represent.

Local government officials ?

Some. Unfortunately, many have been found to be corrupt in recent years.

Local public school officials?

NO!!! Liberalism wrecks havoc in CA.!!!

Congressional representatives?

In my area, I have been pleased with most. The Democrat controlled legislature in CA? SCARY AND CREEPY...TO SAY THE LEAST!!!

The current Democrat controlled Congress? I know this isn't one of polls' choices but...YIKES!!!

The President?

I trust him on the war on terror. I have been severely disappointed on the illegal immigration issue. He has done a great job for our economy, prescription drug benefit for seniors, and a variety of other issues here at home. It's unfortunate that he doesn't EVER get any credit for these things from the lunatic left.

Neither Alito nor Robertson were stonewalled/filibustered. I believe that some republican senators did threaten to filibuster Harriet Miers, although it never came to that and it wasn't clear that it woul've worked anyway.

"Scientists can't even agree whether or not "global warming" exists"

That's just not true. While you can find meaningful debate about the causes of global warming, you cannot find any reputable scientists who will say it doesn't exist. Even Pres. Bush acknowledges it's happening.

Just dropped in for the first time in many months...ok...i'll play...
I'm not going to read super long posts about this stuff...just going to answer these questions..ok?

love and grace,
pam

Religious Freedom Issues

1. Do you support efforts to uphold the rights of religious freedom and expression in public life?

Yes.

2. Should pastors and others be allowed to publicly speak out against sexual sins, including homosexuality, without fear of being charged with a "hate-crime" and without jeopardizing the tax-exempt status of their churches?

Yes.

3. Do you support protecting the public display of the Ten Commandments from the attacks of groups such as the ACLU?

Yes.

4. Should students have the right to pray in public school classrooms, at sporting events, and graduation ceremonies?

Yes.

Government Issues

1. Should evangelical pastors and people back away from America's traditional pro-Israel stance, in light of the recent Hezbollah offensive and the anti-Christian rage of the radical Islamists?

Yes. Evangelicals should evangelize by serving the poor here in our country first, and then going abroad. They should voice their opinions like any other Americans, and vote as they see fit, yet not get involved in political issues and certainly not those related to "end times" events as they perceive them to be.

2. Is the United Nations a more trustworthy authority than the government of the United States?

No.

*******

Court Issues

1. Should the President choose Supreme Court Justices and federal judges who will interpret the Constitution strictly, without legislating from the bench?

Hmmm...maybe.

2. Should the Senate be barred from endlessly debating and stonewalling the President's judicial selections?

Probably.

3. Should the U.S. Supreme Court uphold the federal ban on partial-birth abortion?

Absolutely.
*******

Media/Television Issues

1. Do you believe that the national media report Christian, moral, and religious issues in an unbiased manner?

No. Nothing is reported in an unbiased manner.

2. Do you support efforts to persuade advertisers and television networks to clean up "trash TV" and offer more family valued programming?

Of course.

No.
1. It's not a lifestyle.
2. Schools don't need to promote heterosexuality either.
3. Schools have enough work to do in promoting basic skills.
4. Schools SHOULD accept tolerance as a stance toward adult individuals who engage in consentual behaviors with other consenting adult individuals within what is legal.

2. Should schools be required to teach evolution as a theory rather than a fact?

Yes. This is what we do now.

3. Should schools teach that women have a constitutional right to end the life of their unborn child by having an abortion?

It's the law, right? Schools can ignore it, or teach it. Schools should teach students what is currently the law of the land.

4. Should schools teach about contraceptive use?

Absolutley.

5. Should schools teach that only abstinence protects against sexually transmitted diseases?

Yes...absolute protection only comes from abstinence. This should be clearly taught.

6. Should schools be required to teach traditional American history - including our religious and moral heritage?

Yes.

*******

Family Issues

1. Do you support the ban on partial-birth abortion and believe that we should support efforts to defend the law in federal court?

Yes.

2. Do you support legislation requiring abortionists to tell women about the extreme pain their unborn child will experience during the abortion procedure?

Yes.

3. Should parents be allowed to raise, discipline, and educate their children free from government interference?

Nope. Seen too many kids rescued and know of so many stories...real kids....who struggled through the system, yet were saved because of it.

4. Should girls under 18 be allowed to obtain abortions without parental knowledge or consent?

No.

5. Should taxpayer dollars flow into abortion provider organizations like Planned Parenthood?

Yes.

Faith Issues

1. Did you read your Bible more in the past year than the year before?

Yes.

2. Did you share the Gospel with more people in the past year than the year before?

Yes.

3. Did you attend church more in the past year than the year before?

No.

4. Did you share your Christian point of view in the last year more than the year before?

Yes.

Confidence Issues

Do you trust each of the following groups?

Pastors?
Mostly.

Local government officials ?
Mostly.

Local public school officials? Mostly.

Congressional representatives?
Not as much.

The President?
I believe he intends well....but his outcomes have not always been good. I'm Texan. I tend to trust him based on a sort of "familial" sort of loyalty.

Hi Grace,

Nice to see you back here! Thanks for participating in the survey.

You and I appear to agree on several issues, but disagree on a few others.

It's certainly interesting to see all the different opinions!

Thanks to everyone who chose to answer the survey.
