Homosexuals Indoctrinating Children in Schools

The fact that today's public schools are becoming breeding grounds (sorry for the bad pun here) for pro-homosexual behavior advocacy should alarm every parent who has a student in a public school.

Read how students are punished for opposing 'gay' advocacy.

Below is a link to two videos that show how young children are being brainwashed and indoctrinated into gay advocacy acceptance. People can clearly see what is happening in classrooms all across America in order to change every child's Christian (or any other religious) upbringing regarding how one should view homosexual behavior. It's quite chilling...to say the least.

And, you can be certain that homosexual advocates are not discussing the health risks of homosexual behavior:

Update @ 1:45 p.m. PT

This is just too good to miss. I have copied and pasted the entire letter from the MassResistance website:

Hard-hitting letter to school officials from a mother regarding Day of Silence in her child's school.

The following letter was written last week by a mother whose child attends a high school in northeastern Massachusetts that has been holding the Day of Silence for several years. She and many others in the town have had enough. She composed this letter with the intent of getting signatures, and then delivering a copy of it to every school official in the town. It's a relatively long letter, but we were so impressed that we're presenting it here. THIS IS what parents across America ought to be doing (in addition to participating in their own Day of Defiance)! Too many people are afraid of telling the truth; this letter is a breath of fresh air!

We are writing about the Day of Silence (DOS), an event which is scheduled for April 25 at xxxx High School. According to the GLSEN (Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Education Network) website for DOS (http://www.dayofsilence.org/), "Students and teachers nationwide will observe the day in silence to echo the silence that LGBT and ally students face everyday."

The DOS is an extremely controversial event, and although GLSEN repeatedly claims that the event is student-driven, it is evident from the extent of materials and the sophistication of the resources available on their website that it is GLSEN who is the mastermind behind this event, and not the students themselves. It is no secret that GLSEN's goal is to systematically desensitize students to homosexuality.

The DOS drives divisiveness into the school by forcing students, parents, and teachers to take sides on an issue that is not relevant to the goals of taxpayer-funded public education. It uses a neutral setting to politicize a highly controversial issue. An environment of intolerance is created when those who hold differing viewpoints on homosexuality or whose religious beliefs do not condone homosexuality are "silenced" and made to feel that they are being mean-spirited or bigoted. We know of teachers and staff who are uncomfortable with the DOS, but feel that there is no "safe" way to voice their concerns and convictions. This is not a healthy situation.

Most egregious, is the fact that students are not being told the truth about homosexuality. GLSEN is preying upon the vulnerability of young people - their innocence, empathy and compassion - to aggressively promote its own agenda. In an unethical and manipulative way, students are being led to believe that homosexuality is normal, that homosexuals have been victimized, and that they need to be defended. When students choose to participate in the DOS, they don't even begin to understand the magnitude of what it is they are stepping up to defend.

The sexual practices of homosexuals involve serious health risks and illnesses. Specifically, sodomy is associated with significant and life-threatening health problems. While unhealthy sexual behaviors occur among both heterosexuals and homosexuals, the medical and social science evidence confirm that homosexual behavior is uniformly unhealthy, and that many diseases and injuries specific to homosex are virtually unknown in the heterosexual population. Men having sex with men leads to greater health risks than men having sex with women, not only because of rampant levels of promiscuity, but also because of the nature of sex among men.

Those students who are struggling with same-sex attractions, but who do not embrace homosexuality, are often led to believe that homosexuality is inborn, a condition that cannot be changed. This can lead to a situation of despair, and fails to take into the account the fact that many have overcome same-sex attractions, as ex-gays will readily attest.

GLSEN has no intention of revealing to students the truth about homosexual behavior. Nowhere on their website or in their literature is there information about how to overcome same-sex attraction or about the risks and dangers of the homosexual lifestyle. The voice of science and the ex-gay perspective have been "silenced."

Nowhere does GLSEN give voice to testimonials from those who now suffer with AIDS, cancer, and other diseases which have resulted from homosexual behaviors. And of course, nowhere does GLSEN talk about those who have been "silenced" by premature death, an inevitable outcome for many homosexuals. When the school administration, its faculty and staff, go along with GLSEN's agenda, they become players in a game of master deception and coercion. This is unacceptable, and borders on the criminal.

When young people are led to believe that homosexuality is just an alternate lifestyle, they are more prone to experiment with it. Is the school administration ready to take on the liability of enticing students to experiment with behaviors that could cost them their health and well being?
We find it difficult to believe that any adult who cares about young people would be willing to be an accomplice in the DOS or in the promotion of homosexual behaviors.

It is obvious that a political agenda is being allowed to trump scientific fact and the well-being of our children. The school enables this to happen when it allows GLSEN to push its agenda via the DOS, when it includes books promoting the homosexual lifestyle in its library, and fails to provide students with information they need in order to make an informed decision. This is nothing more than indoctrination.

The DOS is an obstruction to the educational process. Our children are in school to receive an academic education. When even one student refuses to speak or interact verbally in class, the goals of classroom instruction are impaired. The situation is exacerbated when faculty and/or staff also participate in the DOS. How can a teacher possibly teach when s/he refuses to speak?

When the school agrees to have a day of silence for one group of people, there is no reason that other groups shouldn't be accommodated, as well. There are many types of people who could demand to be recognized - e.g., those who are mentally and/or physically handicapped, those who are persecuted for their religious beliefs, skin color, ancestry, etc. The time taken to do multiple "Days of Silence" calls into question the goal of public education and the activities which occur during the regular school day.

For the sake of the educational process, the safety and well being of our students, and for the faculty, staff and students who feel pressured to remain silent about their opposition to the homosexual agenda, we are asking the school administration, the superintendent, and the school committee to not allow the DOS at XHS. We are asking that the school maintain an environment which is conducive to academic learning, and free from coercion and political agendas.

We will be following up with you regarding the issues outlined in this letter, and next steps.

Sincerely,
Concerned Parent

At least our children are being taught to love and accept one another, despite our differences. Regardless of whether you agree or disagree with homosexuality, the message here is one of tolerance and respect. This effort is no more "brainwashing" than Christianity being promoted in schools.

One thing that's great about this country is its diversity. Americans have a wide variety of views on values and the world. Along those lines, there is a place for sex education in schools because it teaches young people how to engage in safer sex practices. It's neither practical nor effective to leave the extent of sex education to encouraging only abstinence as an alternative to marital sex.

Hello Charlie,

Welcome to Talkwisdom!

I can appreciate your sentiments about children being taught to love and accept one another, despite our differences. I can wholeheartedly agree with that!!

I have always hoped and prayed that this was the true goal(s) of homosexual activists in schools.

But I know better.

I have done extensive research and the facts are clear as night and day.

I must disagree with you when you stated:

This effort is no more "brainwashing" than Christianity being promoted in schools.

Prepare yourself before you read this post. It might change your mind about gay activism...forever.

I think that if someone wants their children to be educated in a setting that doesn't allow other points of view, beliefs etc., they should send their children to a private school. I don't agree with you that there is some super-secret homosexual agenda and that schools are "targeted." Gay students have just as much right to observe a day of silence as anyone else has. I don't think it's the same thing as accepting homosexuality as "normal," but could teach a great deal about "loving the sinner." Since, from a homosexual standpoint, this isn't a religious issue in the school but one of civil rights, mounting a Christian response in the school isn't appropriate. Plus, I think it's less about embracing homosexuality and more about teaching people not to target them for descrimination. If the DOS is offensive, then keep your child home.

The public school is funded by the government, and all people in each district pay school taxes. No group should be excluded. If,as a parent, you want your child to be educated in a Christian atmosphere, there are schools for that. Otherwise, it's our job as parents to educate our children with respect to religion and morality at home and at church. The public school should promote tolerance of those who are different so that each child can peacefully coexisit with the other students so that they can all receive a good academic education.

Sheltering children from the realities of society doesn't help them, and it doesn't allow them to stand behind their own personal faith. If you've taught them what you believe is right, a day of silence won't make a bit of difference.

Jaded,

Yes. We will probably just have to "agree to disagree" on this issue.

I do not think that parent's tax dollars should be spent on homosexual indoctrination. Period. Groups like GLSEN are presenting material under the guise of fostering understanding and diversity, but the real outcome is to promote homosexuality and gender confusion.

Did you read any of the links in my original post here? You should be shocked by what is going on in Massachusetts public schools. Go to the MassResistance website, scroll down to the "Little Black Book" and read what high school students are being exposed to.

Did you read the link to David Kupelian's first chapter in "The Marketing of Evil" book? Go read it. You will see the techniques being used by gay activists over the years to desensitize and indoctrinate through lies, psychological "jamming," manipulation, and conversion techniques that would make any Nazi or Communist proud.

I don't think that Christians should be lulled into complacency on this issue. There are radical homosexual activists whose goal is to lure and recruit children into their dangerous lifestyle. With all the desperate problems faced by our schools, we don't need to use our precious tax dollars to expose young children to deviant sexuality.

There are very disturbing materials being used under the guise of promoting "safe schools." Here's just one example. Below is a portion of song lyrics from an actual teaching resource book entitled, "Cootie Shots: Theatrical Inoculations Against Bigotry for Kids, Parents and Teachers."

It is targeted for young audiences from kindergarten through sixth grade. It claims to provide a "fun and constructive way to produce tolerance and diversity." But the real effect will be to confuse children about gender differences, and encourage cross-dressing. This can be the first step in confusing children about their sexual identity. This is just the start of a process of luring children into an acceptance of the homosexual "lifestyle" and even exploring it for themselves.

Here's a copy of info about "In Mommy's High Heels." Note the bold sections. Do you want your daughter Jadette exposed to such a bitter, violent attitude in school??

GLSEN Book Puts Grade-School Boys ‘In Mommy’s High Heels’
Snide Poem Is Latest in GLSEN’s Cross-Dressing Agenda

The following are excerpts from a poem titled “In Mommy’s High Heels” appearing in the book Cootie Shots: Theatrical Inoculations Against Bigotry for Kids, Parents and Teachers. The book is a collection of skits and stories designed for elementary school classrooms, and is distributed by the Gay, Lesbian, Straight Education Network (GLSEN) through its Web site. (A co-editor of the book is a GLSEN member.) This poem, which is to be sung in class to music provided at the back of the book, is about a boy who brings his mother’s high heels to show-and-tell. Artwork attached to the poem shows drawings of nine different and colorful high heel shoes.

The introduction to the classroom performance begins as follows:

A young boy is on his knees, or sitting at this school desk, alone on stage. It is important that the audience not see his shoes.

The first half of the poem is about the various goofy things the boy didn’t bring to show-and-tell, such as “Mary’s puppy Chuck, that got hit by the garbage truck.” It continues:

Who knew when it would come my turn,
Their jaws would drop, my cheeks would burn?
I’m standing there for all the world to see.

I didn’t have a thing to share.
I only brought two things to wear.
That make me happy, make me tall.
They can laugh, but I’m above them all.

An instructional note says: “He stands, revealing himself to be wearing high heels.” The poem continues:

In Mommy’s high heels the world is beautiful,
Let the peasants choke way down below.
I’m standing high above the crowds,
My head is breaking through the clouds.
In Mommy’s high heels I’m ten feet tall!

In Mommy’s high heels life’s a fantasy;
Ev’ry wish I make is a decree!
Let Sissy keep her shrunken heads,
Let Mary walk her dog who’s dead.
In Mommy’s high heels I have it all!!

Here the world is beautiful:
Forests of coat racks and shoe trees,
A land of hope and shopping sprees!
When I grow up I’ll have the cash
To go and buy a bag to match!

Instructional note: “(Soft shoe dance break, possibly with spoken phrases from the lyrics.)”

So let them say I’m like a girl!
What’s wrong with being like a girl?!
And let them jump and jeer and whirl—
They are the swine, I am the pearl!
And let them laugh and let them scream!
They’ll be beheaded when I’m queen!
When I rule the world! When I rule the world!
When I rule the world, in my mommy’s high heels!

— Excerpted from “In Mommy’s High Heels”; Lyrics by Paul Selig, music by Scott Killian From the book “Cootie Shots: Theatrical Inoculations Against Bigotry for Kids, Parents and Teachers” (a Fringe Benefits book published by Theatre Communications Group). “Cootie Shots’” co-editor Norma Bowles describes herself in the book as a “card-carrying member of the Association for Theatre in Higher Education; the Southern Poverty Law Center; the Gay, Lesbian, Straight Education Network; and the National Council of Education Activists.”

I've heard all the excuses, Jaded and I'm not buying it. The liberals say this issue is about tolerance, but it’s really about tyranny. If the “gay rights” movement succeeds in all they want, we will see the criminalization of Christianity. Don't believe me? Please research the "hate crimes" law that is being voted on in Congress. People with traditional moral values will find themselves on the wrong side of the law.

In short, as this excerpt from the WND link reveals, the fact of the matter is that Congress is working to create penalties for non-PC views.

A fast-tracked congressional plan to add special protections for homosexuals to federal law would turn "thoughts, feelings, and beliefs" into criminal offenses and put Christians in the bull's-eye, according to opponents.

"H.R. 1592 is a discriminatory measure that criminalizes thoughts, feelings, and beliefs [and] has the potential of interfering with religious liberty and freedom of speech," according to a white paper submitted by Glen Lavy, of the Alliance Defense Fund.

"As James Jacobs and Kimberly Potter observed in Hate Crimes, Criminal Law, and Identity Politics, 'It would appear that the only additional purpose [for enhancing punishment of bias crimes] is to provide extra punishment based on the offender's politically incorrect opinions and viewpoints,'" said Lavy.

There will be more than just days of silence for the Biblical Christian viewpoint that homosexual behavior is sin and an abomination to God. Christians will be punished and thrown in jail because of their beliefs!

Jaded, I sincerely hope that you re-think your position on this volatile issue. It's certainly not as simple as you are claiming it to be.

Can't Ever Critize Gay Activists

And, what is the "Day of Silence" really all about? Condemnation of the Biblical view against homosexual behavior.

It has become necessary for Christian students to hold the "Day of Truth" to counter the "silence" day:
Christian teens across the country will be countering the Wednesday event with the "Day of Truth" on April 19. Sponsored by our friends at the Alliance Defense Fund (ADF), and endorsed by CWA and other like-minded organizations, participating students will speak the truth in love to fellow students without disrupting the learning environment.

Participating students are encouraged to wear specially designed T-shirts for the day and pass out cards to fellow students during non-class time that read:

I am speaking the Truth to break the silence.

Silence isn't freedom. It's a constraint.

Truth tolerates open discussion, because the Truth emerges when healthy discourse is allowed.

By proclaiming the Truth in love, hurts will be halted, hearts will be healed, and lives will be saved.

The "Day of Truth" Web site also features a talking points section to help students handle hostile questions from fellow students and school authorities.

"In the past, students who have attempted to speak against the promotion of the homosexual agenda have been censored or, in some cases, punished for their beliefs," says Michael Johnson, ADF's Senior Legal Counsel who heads the "Day of Truth" for ADF. "It is important that students stand up for their First Amendment right to hear and speak the Truth about human sexuality in order to protect that freedom for future generations. 'The Day of Truth' provides an opportunity to publicly exercise our free speech rights," Johnson added.

Christine, yes, I've read excerpts from "The Marketing of Evil," but frankly, since I don't believe there is wide-spread hidden agenda, it seems an awful lot like someone making money by breeding fear. It's easier to target someone if you fear that they're trying to harm you. Fear breeds hate, Christine. When you rally so vehemently against someone or something, pointing fingers, calling names, condemning them, you run the risk of letting fear and hate take over. Who is it that wants us to fear and hate one another? I don't think I need to answer that for you.

If you read my response, and my many responses over the years, you'll notice several things...or you should, anyway....

First, I don't generally give my personal opinion of homosexuals or homosexuality. I have a number of friends who are gay, and I love them. That is not to say that I believe there are no repercussions for the choices we make. But, not one of them wants special treatment simply because they're gay...they just don't want to be punished because of it.

Secondly, I've said several times that if Jadette didn't have a disability, I'd have enrolled her in a Christian school. However, since she does have a disability, she needs the services the public school provides. Because of this, her religious upbringing has to come from home and church entirely.

I've never said anything about "gay rights" or "hate crimes" per se. As a matter of fact, I don't particularly care for the term "hate crimes" in any situation. All violence committed upon another is done so with malice, and it should be given equal punishment. A crime is a crime is a crime, much like sin. There are laws in place to punish those who commit crimes. I don't think a murder is any more heinous if it was commited against a minority...both are horrific.

As for "gay rights" or Christian rights" or any other "rights," well, I don't believe any group should be given special treatment because they are a minority of any kind. However, I don't believe that any group should be punished for it, either. A gay person has as much right to a job as a heterosexual person, as long as he or she is qualified for the position. On the other hand, I don't believe he or she should be hired to fill a quota because he or she is gay. (or African American, or Hispanic, or female etc etc etc)

We live in a secular society where religion, morality and such are choices. I may have chosen a certain path, but I am not arrogant enough to force my beliefs on other. I share them freely, so as to plant the proverbial seeds. What someone else does with those seeds is entirely up to them.

The bottom line is, our schools should teach tolerance, and they should not promote any religious belief. It's our job as parents to make sure our children are strong in their faith, and know what they need to do in order to walk with the Lord. If we've done our jobs right, it wouldn't matter if Satan himself appeared from thin air and danced the jig in front of us...our faith wouldn't waiver. If a day of silence can cause that much damage, the problem isn't with homosexuals, it's with our faith.

Again, we can agree to disagree. I don't do so with any anger, malice or arrogance, nor with any disrespect.

Christinewjc said...

Jaded,

You said, "If a day of silence can cause that much damage, the problem isn't with homosexuals, it's with our faith."

I have lived through the teenaged years of my kids. I have seen how vulnerable, unsuspecting teens can be manipulated and persuaded by not only their peers, but adults who would desire to do everything in their power to destroy their core Christian beliefs.

If you have read most of my writings on this blog, you will notice that I do not object to any of the rights (i.e. work, freedom of speech, gay parades...whatever)that you described should be available for gay and lesbian people. What I do object to is this one-sided pro-homosexual teaching that is going on in public schools without the other side of the issue being presented. I won't go into all of the details, but one encounter I had with a teen girl might get my point across. A friend of my daughter's never even heard of the fact that there are many ex-homosexual people in America. She never knew that gays and lesbians can change when they are unhappy with their homosexual tendencies. If public schools want to give educational lessons on homosexual behavior and orientation, then why do they exclude the ex-homosexuals and their viewpoints? It doesn't even have to be presented in a religious way. But the fact that such viewpoints are excluded by the liberal-left dominated public school system speaks volumes as to why I believe that homosexual indoctrination does not belong in schools. There are ways to promote tolerance, diversity, school safety etc. without going to the lengths that gay activists have gone in the public schools. The "Breaking Down the Walls" program that was presented to my son and daughter back when they were in high school is sufficient enough without promoting a lifestyle that is not embraced by all people as desirable, normal, healthy or natural.

As one of the links stated, the health risks of homosexual behavior and sex are far greater than even smoking! Yet, smoking is not promoted in high schools. Student are urged to not smoke, stop smoking, or encouraged to never start in the first place. This doesn't mean that people "hate" smokers. They may hate the habit, the health risks inherent in such behavior (and the stench on the breath and clothes) but that does not equivocate into hatred for the person.

You probably still think that I am wrong to speak out against this issue. That's your right to believe that way. But, as Chase Harper, who was instrumental in creating the "Day of Truth" says in his letter, he (and I) feel the need to speak the truth about this issue.

Here's an excerpt:

I spent the better part of last Monday talking and praying with a homosexual man who recently attempted to commit suicide. His life has been a trail of suffering. Society has almost universally told this man that his sexual lifestyle is one to be celebrated, while in fact it is the root of much deep-seated fear and pain.

He had known Christians who had spoken of God’s deliverance from sin, yet none of them ever told him that homosexuality was something from which he must be delivered. How did these Christians expect this man to be set free? Our love for people in bondage to homosexuality must include the truth regarding the destructive nature of their lifestyle. In this situation, love without truth is utter hypocrisy.

A person trapped in homosexuality is often like a cancer victim who is unaware of their disease. A “good hearted person” would gladly cry with them, hug them, and hold their hand beside their deathbed. Yet would it not be an abominable thing to leave that person in ignorance or self-deception concerning their condition? Truly selfless love would compel you to burst into the room screaming, “Friend, you have a horrible cancer and it is killing you as we speak! Come with me and we’ll go to the Doctor who can save your life!”

Homosexuality is dangerous. People who are given over to a homosexual lifestyle are far more likely to experience disease, mental illness, drug abuse, depression, alcoholism, suicidal tendencies, and even a shortened life span.[1] It is understandable that the Bible speaks so harshly against sexual “freedom”.

No group should be excluded

Really? What about Out and Proud Child Lovers? Islamic Jihadist? Satanists? Where will we draw the line Jaded?

The bottom line is, our schools should teach tolerance, and they should not promote any religious belief.

All opinions and ideas are not of equal value Jaded. Otherwise why bother going to school at all? This nation was built on God fearing Men and Women and their ideas being subject to a living God. Even those who don't / didn't believe in God agreed with the principles.

I will agree with you, I do not want the schools teaching faith, but it appears The Faith/Religion of Tolerance for all things is indeed being taught.

It will and is a sad day when God's timeless wisdom is ignored by His children.

Jaded said...

Actually, this country was built by people who were trying to escape theocracies, monarchies and jail. Whether they feared God or not is irrelevant. Our founding fathers wanted religion and government to be separate so that we could each be free from persecution for our particular beliefs, whether those beliefs included God or not.

Islam and Satanism are religions, and have no place in a public school. "Child lovers" are against the law, and have no place in school. Homosexuality is not against the law, nor does it have anything to do with religion as it pertains to social issues. If you believe that being gay is a sin, then teach your children to believe the same way. I believe that sex outside of marriage is a sin, but not everyone does. The school teaches safe sex, and, in my district's case, abstinence, but not in religious terms. It's up to me as a parent to make sure my daughter has the tools to understand the difference. The problem isn't isolated with homosexuals, the problem is that children have become desensitized to sexuality and consider it recreational rather than something sacred. Focusing so narrowly on one thing lets the other things slip by as though they are acceptable.

Free will only exists if we are allowed to exercise it. You can't force morality on anyone, because not even every religion lives by the same moral code. Faith can't be forced, nor can it be legislated. We can only do what every parent who has come before us has done... plant the seeds, nurture them and pray that the roots are deep.

As I'm sure Christine will tell you, I'm not here to fight about this, or to insist that I'm right and you're wrong. You don't have to agree with me... it's part of the whole free will thing.

Mark said...

Actually they wanted NO Govt religion, hence why they came here. seperate is not the same thing as a national religion being forced upon its citizens. Govt and religion are never seperate, and that's a fact.

the problem is that children have become desensitized to sexuality and consider it recreational rather than something sacred.

B I N G O ! I told ya 2007 would be a good year! :)

I just think homosexual activist are underestimated in the damage they are doing both body and soul, and have NO place in our schools. We reduced our standards and it's only going to get worse.

WorldNetDaily chimes in on this issue today (April 30, 2007)in the article Teachers insist: Being 'gay' good
'Educators' promoting homosexuality no matter what children learn at home

And, look at the poll results so far:

What do you think of teaching schoolchildren homosexuality is good?

Not since learning about kids brainwashed to be suicide bombers have I found such an idea so sickening 43.99% (2479)

Homosexuality is immoral, so teaching it is instructing kids in immorality 18.36% (1035)

If this won't prompt parents to remove their kids from government schools, I don't know what will 17.35% (978)

Whatever happened to teaching reading, writing and 'rithmetic instead of social agendas? 15.28% (861)

Matters of any sexuality should not be taught to young children in school 3.74% (211)

Other 0.41% (23)

I like the idea, but I think kindergarten is a bit young to talk sexuality 0.28% (16)

Long overdue, we need to instruct children as early as possible 0.27% (15)

Such programs should be mandatory in schools across America 0.20% (11)

Schools should have such programs, but parents should have option of removing kids 0.12% (7)

TOTAL VOTES: 5636

(As of 4/30/07 at 12:21 p.m. PT)

So, 26 people voted for homosexual indoctrination as a good thing. Quite overwhelming statistics against it!!

I hope and pray that one day, this kind of braindirtying will be a thing of the past...and people will look back and say WHAT THE HELL WERE WE THINKING???!!!
