Great News!!

My son received a text message from The Rock Church today. Carrie Prejean will be speaking at the services this Sunday!! Isn’t that great??

Leave it to Pastor Miles to arrange having Carrie come to our church! She is continuing to be an inspiration to all and great witness for Christ! God is blessing her - despite the horrid rhetoric from the haters and the spiteful Hollywood crowd!

Christocentric said...: Christine, I am so happy that she belongs to our church - a fact I didn't know until I saw Pastor Miles and his wife Debbie on Access Hollywood the other night! They were walking with Carrie to the Trump Towers to meet Donald Trump and I'm like what is Pastor Miles doing there?

Well, found out later and am I so happy that she's speaking on Sunday! This will be another one of the "Pastor interviews ..." type of formats. Usually, Pastor and his guest will be sitting comfortably in lounge chairs as they conduct the interviews.

The Manhattan Declaration: A Call of Christian Conscience

Christians, when they have lived up to the highest ideals of their faith, have defended the weak and vulnerable and worked tirelessly to protect and strengthen vital institutions of civil society, beginning with the family.

We are Orthodox, Catholic, and evangelical Christians who have united at this hour to reaffirm fundamental truths about justice and the common good, and to call upon our fellow citizens, believers and non-believers alike, to join us in defending them. These truths are:

1. the sanctity of human life
2. the dignity of marriage as the conjugal union of husband and wife
3. the rights of conscience and religious liberty.

Inasmuch as these truths are foundational to human dignity and the well-being of society, they are inviolable and non-negotiable. Because they are increasingly under assault from powerful forces in our culture, we are compelled today to speak out forcefully in their defense, and to commit ourselves to honoring them fully no matter what pressures are brought upon us and our institutions to abandon or compromise them. We make this commitment not as partisans of any political group but as followers of Jesus Christ, the crucified and risen Lord, who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

THE RELEVANT OBAMA ADMISSION

At Barack Obama’s web site, the following admission:

“FactCheck.org Clarifies Barack’s Citizenship

‘When Barack Obama Jr. was born on Aug. 4,1961, in Honolulu, Kenya was a British colony, still part of the United Kingdom’s dwindling empire. As a Kenyan native, Barack Obama Sr. was a British subject whose citizenship status was governed by The British Nationality Act of 1948. That same act governed the status of Obama Sr.‘s children…’ “

Read that last line again.

“That same act governed the status of Obama Sr.‘s children…”

That’s an admission that Great Britain “governed the status” of Barack Obama, Jr. He has chosen to highlight this on his own volition.

And this leads to the relevant question:

HOW CAN A NATURAL BORN CITIZEN’S STATUS BE “GOVERNED” BY GREAT BRITAIN?

A natural born citizen’s status should only be governed by the United States.
