Understanding Bible Prophecy Fulfillment (Part 1)
In a previous comment thread, Mike Rucker asked me to provide a "prophecy that has been fulfilled in 2008." Now, I'm not quite sure if he was just joking around with me or if he seriously wanted a conversation about biblical prophecy.
Nonetheless, I did a lot of work locating links so that I could answer some of his questions. Since my time on the blog is limited this morning, I thought that I would use the comment as my blog post for today.
Biblical prophecy is a HUGE topic for discussion. It cannot be covered in just one blog post. Therefore, I have labeled this response as "Part 1."
Christine
P.S. Every other blogger is probably covering the Eliot Spitzer scandal. I've already had enough of that! T.V. is turned off at my home!
Here's my post:
1. Your lottery comedy routine makes me wonder whether or not you are genuinely serious about this topic.
2. I think that you misunderstand my position. Let me see if I can help alleviate your misunderstanding about prophecy fulfillment.
Bible prophecy is continually being fulfilled. Demanding that I show you a specific prophecy being fulfilled "in 2008," as you have asked, is not necessarily an accurate portrayal of how prophecy fulfillment is being revealed.
For instance. Today, the ancient prophecy of David, regarding the fact that Israel would be (and currently is) surrounded by many enemies is an exact prophecy fulfillment. If you read the Scripture at that link, you will see that David names the exact enemies (ancient names and current names listed in that post) that have surrounded Israel and have called for her complete destruction (e.g. Iran leaders want Israel pushed "into the sea.")
Because of biblical ignorance, we see the current U.S. administration attempting to make peace deals between the Palestinians and Israel. They may have the best intentions in mind, but the fact that the so-called "Road map to Peace" requires Israel to give up portions of land (that the Lord gave to her via nations that allowed the formation of the Jewish State after the Holocaust) is a HUGE mistake...IMHO.
I don't want to get too far off topic.
On May 14, 1948 (when the exact date was prophesied for Israel's re-formation as a Jewish State in the Bible) until now, we are witnessing prophecy fulfillment almost every day in that region of the world.
Here is a link that describes, in detail, how amazing it was for that prophecy to be fulfilled.
Other prophecy fulfillment can be seen through the increase of hurricanes, tsunamis, tornadoes, floods, fires, etc. being suffered around the world.
There is also the fact that Jesus himself stated that the signs of the times would be as "in the Days of Noah" (known for it's skepticism and godless paganism, violence, mocking of the faithful etc.) and as in the "Days of Lot" (known for it's sexual immorality and destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah).
If you have been following my posts at this blog about the Falling Away of false convert Christians, as it is revealed through the Bible, then you know that such re probation, heresy, and apostasy is growing exponentially today. The book of Jude warns of this exact thing!
There has been discussion that some view Barack Obama as THE Antichrist. Poor Glen Beck. Just asking the question has placed a barrage of insults and condemnation upon him! I was watching a re-broadcast of his T.V. show last night, and it was mentioned that there were 450,000 google hits about his interview with John Hagee. Today, there are 878,000! Good news travels fast...eh? Just checked again! Now it's over 928,000!
There has always been speculation regarding who the Antichrist will be. There are people who exhibit a spirit of Antichrist, but this does not necessary mean that they are, or could become THE Antichrist described in Revelation.

Since you (Mike) don't want to get into a "fire hose" of information regarding Bible prophecy fulfillment, then I suggest that you just concentrate on one thing -Israel.
The hatred for Israel by Her many enemy nations is not only a central, continuing theme in Bible prophecy, it is one of the greatest signs of the approaching end times. Those who don't see or notice this would be wise to study it and notice how accurate the Bible has been throughout the centuries in this matter as well as many others! It is so crystal clear that to miss it would truly be tragic for non-believers and their destiny in eternity.
Happy reading!

Prophecy Continually Being Fulfilled
The news today surrounding the Annapolis Summit between Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, and President Bush could be another historic step in revealed biblical prophecy regarding the Holy Land of Israel.
Before I get to the details, I want to mention the fact that there are protests going on in the West Bank amongst the Palestinians (violent ones...how typical...). In Israel, there are protests and prayer vigils. Religious Orthodox Jews have gathered by the thousands to peacefully pray at the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem.
The reasons for the discontent? They are very different when you compare the reasons of the Palestinians motives verses the reasons for turning to God by the Orthodox Jews.
There is no doubt that the risks are great at this Annapolis Conference.
For some reason, this WND article title puts chills down my spine:
Arabs at conference called 'step forward' 'President is pleased so many countries are coming'
The Palestinian extremists (President Bush's politically-correct label) don't want peace.
Period!!
They are into their jihadist brainwashed mindset and don't want anything to do with the "Road map to Peace." They don't want a "road map"! They want Israel and the Jewish people wiped off the map!!
The Orthodox Jews fear that the concessions that President Abbas is asking for at this Summit (e.g. his demand for total control of East Jerusalem) could negatively affect the ability to rebuild the Temple Mount.
Whenever new developments come about regarding Israel and peace talks with the Palestinians, I get out the book written by Grant R. Jeffrey called The Next World War - What Prophecy Reveals About Extreme Islam and the West.
Dr. Tim LaHaye, coauthor of the Left Behind series, had this to say about Jeffrey's book:
I highly recommend this book to any Christian believer who would like to see the great work that Grant Jeffrey has done in discussing world events in light of ancient prophecies.
I guarantee that if you read this book, you will gain much greater understanding over the reasons for the global turmoil that we face today.

Now that I have included a written commercial encouraging readers here to buy Jeffrey's book, perhaps the author won't mind if I quote him extensively in my post? :-)
Just the chapter headings gives you a good idea about how thoroughly the author has researched this subject. What I want to concentrate on is chapter 13 - A New Temple for the Last Days.
As I mentioned previously, the Orthodox Jews in Israel are praying for the failure of this latest Summit between Olmert, Abbas, and President Bush. Why? Precisely because they fear that the concessions being discussed will be very detrimental to Israel's ability to keep all of Jerusalem as it's capital city. Plus, there is the fear that such concessions will lead to the relinquishment of the spot where the Third Temple could be rebuilt on the Temple Mount.
Jeffrey writes:
Read that last sentence again. It is one of the reasons why both Christians and Orthodox Jews are upset with the "Road map to Peace." Every so-called "peace" treaty has led first to concessions by the Israelis, then more bloodshed because the Arab terrorist groups continue to send rocket bombs into Israel and suicide bombers into Israel in order to kill as many of the Jews as they can. The term "peace" is a farce to these terrorists!! Concessions do not lead to peace! They lead to a weakened Israeli State, more violence from the enemies that surround Her, and more bloodshed on both sides.
The concessions that are on the table today is reminiscent of what Moshe Dayan did after the dramatic Jewish victory over the Arab armies in the Six-Day War in June 1967. To paraphrase Jeffrey, what happened was Dayan met with the Supreme Muslim Council and established Israel's religious and political policy concerning the Temple Mount. This policy has not changed. Dayan, a nonreligious Jew did not understand the significance of the sacred Temple Mount for Israel, so he relinquished control of the area to the Arabs in the vain hope that his generous gesture would be appreciated.
Jeffrey:
Doesn't this sound very familiar to the current situation between Olmert and Abbas? Again, we have a non-religious Jewish leader ready to give huge portions of land, and, if Abbas gets his way, a portion of the city of Jerusalem!
This is very tragic, people! The fact that many of Israel's past political and military leaders think that the Temple Mount only represents historical significance, has led them into a long series of decisions that relinquished vital territory and religious rights.
When Dayan made this concession back in 1967, it is unbelievable that he agreed to the administrative control of the Muslim Council which would only allow limited access to the mount (by Jews) but prayer by Jews and Christians were strictly prohibited!
In the "Discerning the Signs of the Times" blog post (link below), we read:
Grant Jeffrey has come to a similar conclusion regarding the Dome of the Rock and where the Third Temple would be built.
Jeffrey:
The calculation of the distance of the location for the Third Temple may be a bit different (Jeffrey: 150 feet; Discerning times essay: 340 feet), but the fact that the original location of the First (Solomon's) and Second Temples (both destroyed on the 9th day of August in 587 BC and in AD 70, respectively) are not under the Dome of the Rock location, brings additional Bible prophecy alive and fulfilled!
You may be asking, what prophecy does this fulfill?
Jeffrey writes:
There are so many details that I would like to share from Jeffrey's book. Perhaps I can add them in updates to this post.
Jeffrey:
For now, I want to share a speculation that Jeffrey wrote about regarding the rebuilding of the Third Temple.
I have read the books of several prophecy experts (LaHaye, Jeffrey, Hagee, Hindson) and every one of them has concluded that the U.S. will not be involved in the battle of Gog and Magog. Reasons and speculations may abound, but I must ask - does anyone think that a possible reason why the U.S. administration (at that time in the future) may feel that they can't get involved because they are the brokers of the "Road map to Peace" deal?
Again, I admit that this may only be additional speculation on my part, but does anyone else out there think it could possibly end up being one possible reason?
Please know that I am not attempting to be "prophetic" here. I simply mentioned this as a possible reason why the U.S. may not be involved in that prophetic war. I recall that Ed Hindson mentioned several other possible reasons why the U.S. might be prevented from entering into that war.

One prophecy expert mentioned the possibility that the reason we would not come to Israel's aid in the Gog and Magog war might be because a liberal Democrat is president.

Remember that when you enter the voting booth in 2008!
Sorry...couldn't resist.
I realize that I need to be praying without ceasing about this upcoming election! I need to be prayerful about the direction our country is headed in and when it comes to praying for the next person to occupy the Oval Office of the Presidency. We all need to keep this in prayer.
However, when I think about the Democratic choice who ultimately wins the nomination, I need to pray ever so much more fervently that the Republican nominee wins!!
Please know that it's not about the person...it's about the ideology. All of the current democratic nominees are too far left for my taste. When it comes down to the Democrat nominee being president, I have to pray....God forbid!!

Jeffrey writes:
Since the Six-Day War in 1967, Israel has controlled the entire city of Jerusalem for the first time in nineteen hundred years. Israel allows Muslim authorities to control religious activities and to police (without firearms) the Temple Mount with its Muslim shrine, the Dome of the Rock. Religious Jews don't worship in the area of the dome because the chief rabbis warn they might inadvertently trespass on the site of the Holy of Holies. Muslim control of the Temple Mount is thereby fulfilling the prophecy of Luke 21:24 that "Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled."(bold mine)
While Israel has demonstrated her willingness to allow Arabs full legal rights as citizen with access to all the sacred sties, the Arabs are adamant that the Jews and Christians will not have similar freedom to worship in Palestinian-controlled areas.
Dayan, a nonreligious Jew did not understand the significance of the sacred Temple Mount for Israel, so he relinquished control of the area to the Arabs in the vain hope that his generous gesture would be appreciated.
Jeffrey:
Unfortunately, despite the victory of the Six-Day War, the Muslim Arabs interpreted Dayan's surrender of the most sacred site of the Jews as an indication of Israel's weakness of resolve.

In the "Discerning the Signs of the Times" blog post (link below), we read:
4. REBUILDING OF THE TEMPLE, RESTORATION OF TEMPLE WORSHIP AND ANIMAL SACRIFICES IN JERUSALEM
For several end time prophecies to be fulfilled, the temple will have to be rebuilt.
Revelation 11:2 "Leave out the court which is outside the temple and do not measure it, for it has been given to the nations; and they will tread under foot the holy city for forty-two months."
Some archeaologists believe that the temple mount is actually 340 feet south of the Dome of the Rock site, putting the Dome of the Rock within the Court of the Gentiles. This may be the court outside the temple that is left out.
There are many groups already working on preparations for the new temple. The blueprints are already done, the temple garments have been made, and there have already been attempts to lay the cornerstone of the temple. The only thing standing in the way of the construction of the new temple is Islam's third holiest site, the Dome of the Rock and government support for such an undertaking. Some possible scenarios for the rebuilding of the temple are as follows:
1. The persuasion and performing of miracles by the Antichrist and False Prophet convinces the Islamic world to approve the rebuilding.
2. The United Nations will negotiate the rebuilding of the temple following a war with the armies from the North (Russia and Islamic forces). This assumes that the war with the armies from the North is not the battle of Armageddon as some feel and that this attack occurs before the rapture or tribulation period begins. The supernatural destruction of the Russian army and Islamic forces will cause an outpouring of Christian worship and zeal amongst the Jewish people who will reconstruct the temple.
3. It is determined that the site of the first two temples is actually south of the Dome of the Rock, and the court of the gentiles (Dome of the Rock) will be left out of the 3rd temple.
A group in Israel called the Temple Mount Faithful have obtained most of the clothing, instruments and other equipment required for temple worship and are actively preparing for the laying of the third temple's cornerstone.
Grant Jeffrey has come to a similar conclusion regarding the Dome of the Rock and where the Third Temple would be built.
Jeffrey:
...the Third Temple could be rebuilt on the original site, and the Dome of the Rock could remain in the Court of the Gentiles more than 150 feet to the south of the rebuilt Temple, as indicated in John's prophecy (see Revelation 11:1-2)
Many Israelis today feel that allowing Muslim authorities to exercise administrative control over the Dome of the Rock and the Temple Mount was a tremendous error in political judgment. However, even this decision was the fulfillment of a nineteen-hundred-year-old prophecy made by John in the book of Revelation. In a vision of the final Tribulation period of three and a half years leading up to the battle of Armageddon, John is told by the angel, "Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein. But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months" (Revelation 11:1-2).
John predicts that there will be a period after the rebuilding of the Temple and the sacrificial altar in which a large part of the Temple Mount known as the Court of the Gentiles (the court that is outside the Temple) will remain under the control of the Gentiles (Arab Muslims) for forty-two months, until Christ returns to set up His millennial kingdom.
There are so many details that I would like to share from Jeffrey's book. Perhaps I can add them in updates to this post.
Jeffrey:
God has promised repeatedly in Scripture that the Temple will be rebuilt in the last days. These prophecies include predictions by Amos (750 BC) (see Amos 9:11), Micah (740 BC) (see Micah 4:1); and Haggai (520 BC) (see Haggai 2:9).
Daniel prophesied twenty-five hundred years ago that the Temple would be rebuilt and would serve as the center of Israel's worship and sacrifice in the generation when the Messiah would return. In Daniel's famous vision of the seventy weeks (see Daniel 9:24-27), he predicted that the last great world dictator would arise from the revived Roman Empire and would conclude a seven-year peace treaty with Israel. After only three and a half years, the world leader would arbitrarily violate the seven-year treaty; at that time he would enter the rebuilt Temple and "he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease" (Daniel 9:27).
Before Daniel's prophecy can be fulfilled, the Jews must reinstate the ancient Levitical sacrificial system on the altar on the Temple Mount.
For now, I want to share a speculation that Jeffrey wrote about regarding the rebuilding of the Third Temple.
In the near future, a dramatic change must occur in the political and religious leadership of Israel to allow the rebuilding of the Temple. What would motivate modern-day Israel to overcome the many significant obstacles to rebuilding the Temple? I believe it will be Israel's recognition of the defeat of extreme Islam through the supernatural act of God in the coming War of Gog and Magog. [Note: this is discussed extensively in chapters 11 and 12.] In addition, the recovery of the long-lost ark of the covenant would provide a powerful incentive since the original purpose of both the Tabernacle and the Temple was to provide a sacred house for the holy ark. Jeremiah 3:16 suggests that when the Messiah returns, Israel will stop visiting the ark of the covenant. This prophecy strongly suggests that at some point prior to Christ's return, the ark will be restored to Israel and will be a focus of the people's worship. But once Jesus rules from the throne of David in Jerusalem, the ark will no longer be the major focus of worship, as Christ will rule as King of kings.

Please know that it's not about the person...it's about the ideology. All of the current democratic nominees are too far left for my taste. When it comes down to the Democrat nominee being president, I have to pray....God forbid!!

Dr. J: All Americans Should Be Able To Voice Their Opinion Without Reprisal
The debacle that occurred, and was caused by the White House person who was most likely ordered to go bully Dr. David Jeremiah because of a comment he made about Obama being "dangerous" is quite disturbing!
Can you recall all of the awful things that were spewed against President George W. Bush over the eight years when he was Commander-in-Chief? I do not remember President Bush ever making a public spectacle about any of the liberal-leftist lunatics that spewed hatred against him night and day for all those years! He had much more dignity in his pinkie finger than Obama ever has had in his entire lifetime! Obama is so thin-skinned, he has to blast every person who ever uttered a word against him or his terrible policies!
While doing a search for additional reports on this incident, I found Refreshment Refuge. The author including this additional piece of information:
Jeremiah also stated on AFR's Today's Issues that he meant what he had said. He also affirmed that all Americans should be able to voice their opinion without reprisal.
I think that cements the reason for the phone call from Joshua DuBois. It was a not-so-veiled threat to get Dr. Jeremiah to shut up! I'm happy to report that he will do nothing of the kind! Keep preaching the TRUTH Dr. Jeremiah! Don't let these Obama thugs intimidate you! God bless you and thank you for your AWESOME new book, The Coming Economic Armageddon.
Readers, please do yourself a favor! Buy this book and read it!

4.0 out of 5 stars The Coming Economic Armageddon, October 5, 2010
By M. Smith - See all my reviews

This review is from: The Coming Economic Armageddon: What Bible Prophecy Warns about the New Global Economy (Hardcover)
Dr. Jeremiah writes from a wealth of research and Biblical knowledge. Although he presents facts not easily found in the traditional media, he does not write to scare but to inform the reader. The economic crisis in this country, in fact in this world, is frightening. It is a subject that I try to leave to those who truly understand the economy and give me tidbits of information that I can handle, or ignore. I was interested in what Dr. Jeremiah had to say because of his scholarly approach to the subject, and because without exception, every book that I have read by Dr. Jeremiah always speaks of hope, something that the economists of today don't seem to have. It is evident that there is unrest and fear in this country for many reasons, but the media would have us believe that the economy is one issue, a difficult issue, better left to the "experts", or to a two minute blurb on the evening news. I don't want to be an expert. I do want to be better informed, and I found that through reading this book, even I could understand some of the issues and know that there is a plan. More importantly, I felt that by having the information presented in this book, I now have a resource to encourage friends and family.
5.0 out of 5 stars Time to understand and prepare, October 5, 2010
By Ronald Freeman (Garland, Texas, US) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Coming Economic Armageddon: What Bible Prophecy Warns about the New Global Economy (Hardcover)
In all of his Prophecy teachings, Dr. Jeremiah clearly and compassionately shares through the wisdom and understanding the Holy Spirit speaks through him. Many studying the Prophecy recorded in the Bible will understand that it appears we are in the latter days of life on this earth as we have known it. Times are changing rapidly just as mankind has been advised from the Word of God. The time is nearing where acceptance of Jesus is critical and will determine where we will be when the Rapture occurs. No one knows exactly when, but God's word has told us that events will happened letting us know that event is nearer than we may think. The Bible is a book of history from the beginning, through the present and into the future of time. I believe that when the Rapture occurs, where you will be will depend on who can save you from being left behind. The only Savior is Jesus. The teachings in Dr. Jeremiah's book tells us of these events as well as serving as a warning to prepare.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sobering Analysis of Economic Conditions, October 4, 2010
By J. Camino - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
This review is from: The Coming Economic Armageddon: What Bible Prophecy Warns about the New Global Economy (Hardcover)
Dr. Jeremiah is a good writer and does a great job of explaining, in sobering terms, how we ended up in the economic mess that we are in; and, more importantly, where we are going. He does so via the science/art of economics and, of course, by understanding God's infallible prophetic Word. My degree is in Business Management and I read a lot about economics (in fact, Peter Schiff's recent book entitled "Crash Proof 2.0" is a great book from a secular author that echoes much of what Jeremiah says--though I think Jeremiah's is better since it approaches the subject from a Christian worldview). I have also studied Bible prophecy for many years (and wrote a book that is becoming increasingly popular). I say that to hopefully explain that I especially enjoy the subjects of economics and Bible prophecy and, thus, can write with reasonable authority that David Jeremiah addresses both of those topics exceptionally well.
He explains how the world economy is more interrelated than ever. There is also a good presentation of how the Social Security System is, more or less, a grand "ponzi scheme" on the brink of collapse. He also explains how the economic health of a "superpower" can impact many other areas of a nation, such as it's international political and military influence. A good explanation of how debt at either an individual or national level eventually leads to serious financial problems and that pumping "fiat money" into an economy at the rate we have will lead to inflation is provided. We know that scenario (inflation, wherein it will take a day's wages just to buy food) is predicted to happen in the end times according to Revelation 6:6.
Further in the book Jeremiah turns to what he knows best: end times prophecy. As a result, the reader will find a rock solid discussion of how a "new world order" will play a role in the end times, how the Antichrist will be able to control who may buy and sell, the mark of the beast, and other important topics. Readers of his previous books, such as "What in the World is Going On?", will find a good bit of redundancy; but they will also see it being explained from a more economic angle. If you haven't read a previous book by Dr. Jeremiah, I think one could jump right into this one and not miss much and, thus, since this one is most current, I would say get this one.
In the end, Dr Jeremiah delivers a good book well worth reading and, once again, makes a valuable contribution to the idea that Christians should now, more than ever, learn as much as possible about end-times Bible prophecy given the times in which we live.

Why The Unholy Alliance of Islam and Communism? Taqiyya?
H/T: Pinterest.com
I have been racking my brain trying to figure out why House Speaker John Boehner refuses to form a Watergate-style congressional committee to investigate Benghazi. It looks like Trevor Louden has figured it out and has revealed the reason for Boehner's reluctance. It stems from the fact that Boehner had been briefed on the Syria situation regarding arming the rebels against Assad's army; along with his knowledge of arms shipments to al-Qaeda terrorists in Libya and Syria. If this is true, then it may come out in the hearings that Boehner could also be held accountable for the deaths of four Americans in Benghazi!
I think that Boehner, McCain, Graham and others who have trusted Islamists in the war on terror have been fooled by radical Islam's doctrine of al taqiyya. [Please read that al taqiyya link. You will better understand the rest of this post.]
Pressure Builds on Boehner Over Benghazi
Excerpt quote:
Informed speculation mounted at Monday’s Accuracy in Media conference, which officially launched the Citizens’ Commission on Benghazi, that House Speaker John Boehner’s opposition to a Watergate-style congressional committee to investigate Benghazi stems from his knowledge of arms shipments to al-Qaeda terrorists in Libya and Syria.
The al-Qaeda terrorist attack on the American diplomatic mission at Benghazi, in Libya, on September 11, 2012, resulted in the deaths of four Americans, who were left to die, rather than be rescued, and has been called by some the “Benghazi Betrayal.”
The dead were U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens, American diplomat Sean Smith, and State Department security officers Glen Doherty and Tyrone S. Woods.
Coming just eight weeks before the 2012 presidential election, the Obama administration falsely blamed the attack on a spontaneous reaction to a video critical of Islam, rather than blaming it on al Qaeda.
Charles Woods spoke with emotion at the AIM conference about the loss of his son and asked for people not only to press for answers as to what really happened at Benghazi, but to pray for the country.
Christopher Farrell, Director of Investigations and Research for Judicial Watch, said at the conference that Obama’s lies and distortions about the attack are designed to obscure the central truth that the administration was arming al Qaeda.
“That’s what they don’t want broadcast or printed anywhere,” he said.
As incredible as it sounds, former CIA officer Clare Lopez said support for al Qaeda, the Muslim Brotherhood, and other Islamists groups has become the official foreign policy of the United States under Obama. She said the policy has been on display in Libya, Egypt, Syria, and the United Nations, through the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) says about Benghazi: “For the past year, this administration has failed to provide sufficient answers, fully comply with subpoenas, and make available relevant individuals to provide testimony. In short, this administration hasn’t been upfront with the American people or this Congress. Republicans will not stop until we get to the truth. We will press forward with our investigation until we have answers, full accountability, and justice.”
However, he opposes the proposal (H.Res. 36) to create a bipartisan House Select Committee to fully investigate the attack and the cover-up. Introduced by Rep. Frank Wolf (R-VA), the proposal has 175 co-sponsors.
Several speakers at the CCB conference agreed that being exposed as knowledgeable about the Obama administration’s secret operations in advance of the Benghazi disaster could be extremely embarrassing to House Speaker Boehner and may explain his opposition to Rep. Wolf’s legislative proposal.
Boehner is a member of the so-called “gang of eight” in Congress, members secretly briefed by the administration on top-secret intelligence operations.
Investigative journalist Kenneth Timmerman, who is writing a book on Benghazi, said, “Did they get briefed? Were they briefed on this arms trafficking operation out of Benghazi to the Syrian rebels or were they not briefed? And if they were briefed, is that perhaps a reason why they don’t want a special committee, because in fact they knew about this operation and did nothing to stop it?”
Rep. Wolf spoke to the conference and encouraged the Citizens’ Commission on Benghazi, under the direction of AIM Editor Roger Aronoff, to get to the bottom of what happened. Members of this commission spoke at the all-day affair and vowed to continue to press for answers from the administration and Speaker Boehner.

_______________
Well...that certainly explains A LOT - DOESN'T IT?
Just the typical "I don't want to lose my job over this scandal" bulls**t is one reason why getting to the truth about Benghazi has been stonewalled for over a year!
Sounds like Boehner, McCain, and that dopey Lindsey Graham were either misled or complicit in the same way when they claimed that the rebels in Syria were not affiliated with Muslim terrorist groups like al Qaeda and/or the Muslim Brotherhood! After all, the Muslim Brotherhood members here in the U.S. have had access to Obummer's White House for five years! They have visited so often, they probably wore out their own foot path on the carpet!
For some time now I have been trying to figure out why Obama's "advisor" - Valerie Jarrett - (who is Iranian) would side against Iran in the war on terror? Obama's siding with the rebels put him against the Iranians, Russia, and Syria. But now, we have Russia's communist dictator (Putin) getting involved in the Syria conflict; siding with Assad and also planning to meet and talk with Iran!
Even Obama is planning on holding "talks" with Iran's new leader!
I'd like to ask readers some important questions. To start off, I will also add that this is a "Talk Wisdom Reports - You Decide" portion of this post.
1. Do you think that it is possible that the entire threat to attack the Syrian army and Assad because of the use of chemical weapons on people there was a just a ruse?
2. Was it their [Obama and his handlers] plan all along to ultimately side with Russia, Syria and even Iran in the Mideast conflicts and turmoil? The outcry by Americans (and many around the world) against "shooting missiles across the bow" in Syria because of the crossed "red line" (which blamed Assad of gassing his own people with chemical weapons) gave Obama and his ilk the chance to back out when Putin came in and "saved the day."
3. Do you think that it is possible that this was the plan all along?
Glenn Beck called for Obama's impeachment for arming the rebels (who are mostly al Qaeda) on his radio show.
4. Do you think that Obama and his criminal enterprise of nefarious characters would switch sides [from supporting the rebels to agreeing with Putin, and by default, Assad] so abruptly?
If you have been reading this blog over the past three years, then you may have already seen my post from 2010 where I questioned the unholy and evil alliance of radical Islam and Communism. However, what was displayed in the photo at one of my former blog posts entitled Thank You S.F. Liberals - You Die Last is coming to fruition via the ObaMARXIST BADministration!
Here is the image at the above link. Notice that the man holding the sign is wearing Muslim terrorist garb. The man walking next to him is wearing a commie red t-shirt with the image of Che Guevara!
How ironic that the Muslim man is holding that sign (below)! Here's a quote from Che Guevara that may explain their union of nefarious ideologies:
"I don't care if I fall as long as someone else picks up my gun and keeps on shooting."
Che GuevaraH/T Brainy Quote
I wish that more Americans would heed Ronald Reagan's advice:
“How do you tell a Communist? Well, it’s someone who reads Marx and Lenin. And how do you tell an anti-Communist? It’s someone who understands Marx and Lenin.”
― Ronald Reagan
― Ronald Reagan
What those two men (seen in photo below, marching together, BTW, in an anti-Israel demonstration during the Bush presidential years) represent is the forming of an alliance between radical Islam and Communism! Also, notice what the sign says: "Thank You S.F. (San Francisco) Liberals - You Die Last." How ANYONE could possibly support either group is beyond any semblance of reason! Liberals are being USED by both! Yet they are either complicit in either ideology or just too damn ignorant to realize it!

I thought that the evil alliance of radical Islam and Communism (Putin and his ilk) would one day need to battle against each other for dominance of the world. This may still happen. Perhaps the caliphate-hungry Iran is using Communist Putin in the usual Muslim deceptive tactics known as al Taqiyya? Muslims might join together and tolerate Communists in an old taqiyya-style kind of temporary alliance. Why? Because of their joined hatred of Israel! They are uniting with the intended plan of making a future collaborated attempt at destroying Israel!
But then, which one [Islam or Communism] will ultimately win out?
Well, this terrorist's quote shows what radical Islam believes:
"Sons of Islam everywhere, the jihad is a duty - to establish the rule of Allah on earth and to liberate your countries and yourselves from America's domination and its Zionist allies, it is your battle - either victory or martyrdom."
Ahmed Yassin
H/T Brainy Quote
And, where does the U.S. fit into this picture?
If the Lord Jesus Christ tarries, then hopefully America will break free from this egregiously criminal ObamaFRAUD tyrannical government with a new conservative leader who will help get us back on track towards restoring our beloved Constitutional Republic!
If not, then we might very well be headed into the fulfillment of end times *prophecy.
I will be back later. Have important errands to do. I will add more links within this post and add more commentary.

Update 9/22/13
*The prophecies written in the Bible accurately describe the ancient nations that will surround Israel in the last days in an attempt to destroy Her. Here is an excerpt from a former post about a prophecy found in Psalm 83:2-8.
Today, we are continually witnessing Biblical prophecy happening right before our very eyes!
As astounding as it was, the prophecies surrounding the rebirth of Israel did not stop with the declaration of Israel's independence in 1948.
Three thousand years ago God inspired King David to predict that the reborn nation of Israel would be immediately surrounded by enemies, including the Arab nations of Jordan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon and Syria.
"For lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head. They have taken craftly counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones. They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance. For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee: The tabernacles of Edom, and the Ishmaelites; of Hoab; and the Hagarenes; Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; the Philistines with the inhabitants of Tyre; Assur also is joined with them: they have holpen the children of Lot. Selah" (Psalm 83:2-8).
In this incredible prophecy, David described the modern states of the Middle East by naming the ancient nations that have now joined with the Palestinians in their attempt to destroy the Jewish state in the last days.
This ancient prophetic list of nations is fascinating, as it enumerates virtually every one of the nations in the Arab confederacy that oppose Israel's existence today:
Edom.........from Esau, brother of Jacob (Jordan)
Ismaelites...descended from Ishmael, son of Hagar (Arabs)
Moab.........son of Lot, (Jordan, east of Dead Sea)
Hagarenes....descended from one of the 12 sons of Hagar
Gebal........ancient Byblus, (north of today's Beirut)
Ammon........son of Lot, (capital of Jordan)
Amalek.......descended from Esau (southern Jordan)
Philistines..from Ham, (throughout Palestine, Syria)
Tyre.........a Phoenician city (Lebanon)
Assur........founded Assyria; (Iraq - Iran)
Children of Lot, Moab, and Ammon, (Jordan)
*******
In addition to the prophecy in Psalms, below you will find more end times prophecy in Ezekiel.
Ezekiel 35:1-5, 10 describes the coming judgment of God against these Arab nations, including Edom (Mount Seir) in Jordan, because of their centuries-old hatred of the Jews.Ezekiel 35:1 - 15
Judgment on Mount Seir
35 Moreover the word of the Lord came to me, saying, 2 "Son of man, set your face against Mount Seir and prophesy against it, 3 and say to it, 'Thus says the Lord God:
"Behold, O Mount Seir, I am against you;
I will stretch out My hand against you,
And make you most desolate;
4 I shall lay your cities waste,
And you shall be desolate.
Then you shall know that I am the Lord.
5 "Because you have had an ancient hatred, and have shed the blood of the children of Israel by the power of the sword at the time of their calamity, when their iniquity came to an end, 6 therefore, as I live," says the Lord God, "I will prepare you for blood, and blood shall pursue you; since you have not hated blood, therefore blood shall pursue you. 7 Thus I will make Mount Seir most desolate, and cut off from it the one who leaves and the one who returns. 8 And I will fill its mountains with the slain; on your hills and in your valleys and in all your ravines those who are slain by the sword shall fall. 9 I will make you perpetually desolate, and your cities shall be uninhabited; then you shall know that I am the Lord.
10 "Because you have said, 'These two nations and these two countries shall be mine, and we will possess them,' although the Lord was there, 11 therefore, as I live," says the Lord God, "I will do according to your anger and according to the envy which you showed in your hatred against them; and I will make Myself known among them when I judge you. 12 Then you shall know that I am the Lord. I have heard all your blasphemies which you have spoken against the mountains of Israel, saying, 'They are desolate; they are given to us to consume.' 13 Thus with your mouth you have boasted against Me and multiplied your words against Me; I have heard them."
14 'Thus says the Lord God: "The whole earth will rejoice when I make you desolate. 15 As you rejoiced because the inheritance of the house of Israel was desolate, so I will do to you; you shall be desolate, O Mount Seir, as well as all of Edom--all of it! Then they shall know that I am the Lord."'
Ezekiel gave another prophecy against Edom (also called Seir); his first prophecy against Edom is found in 25:12-14. In this prophecy, Ezekiel is probably using Edom to represent all the nations opposed to God's people Chapter 36 says that Israel will be restored, while this chapter says that Edom (God's enemies) will be made "a desolate waste."
Note on 35:2 - Edom offered to help destroy Jerusalem and rejoiced when the city fell. Edom's long-standing hostility against God's people resulted in God's judgment.
Note on 35:6-8 - Ezekiel prophesied not only against the people of Edom, but also against their mountains and land. Their home territory was Mount Seir. Mountains, symbols of strength and power, represented the pride of these people who thought they could get away with evil. Edom's desire for revenge turned against them. Edom received the punishment they were so hasty to give out.

Big Data and Big Brother - Shadow Government by Grant Jeffrey

Grant Jeffrey - now home with the Lord.
Long before we learned of Edward Snowden as the whistleblower exposing the NSA spying scandal, Christian prophecy expert Grant Jeffrey shared his knowledge about how "big data and big brother" (as shown in his book and film named Shadow Government) would be purposed in a global elite plan to destroy our Constitutional Republic and our freedoms.
Over the past several months, my stats have shown that people doing a search for "Grant Jeffrey suspicious death" end up coming here to Talk Wisdom via this post:
Talk Wisdom: Suspicious Deaths List.
Admittedly, that "deaths list" post doesn't hold a candle to the list shared here:
Free I News: Obama’s Body Count: Crossing Obama Can Be Deadly! Mysterious Deaths Surround Obama
Also see:
The NACHUMLIST: Obama's 'Dead Pool'
and
Before It's News: Stunning Videos: Mysterious Deaths Surround Obama: The Obama Death Pool
Back to Grant Jeffrey.
I have been a fan of Jeffrey for years. I have read several of his books on Christian end times prophecy. He was an expert in the field of Christian apologetics, specializing in the relationship of end times prophecy and the topic of the existence of a shadow government. As stated previously, he wrote a book about it and collaborated with Andre' Van Heerden to create and produce the film Shadow Government.
In an interview with Alex Jones* in 2010, both Grant Jeffrey and Andre' Van Heerden share prophetic information regarding the "secret" surveillance of the American people [which now has been exposed via the NSA spying scandal as well as other scandals in the Obama BADministration] and what the ultimate purpose and goal of this is - namely - Global Governance.
You can view the movie in it's entirety here:
BIG DATA and BIG Brother - Shadow Government by Grant Jeffrey Grant Jeffrey - a great Prophet and Minister of the Gospel presents this amazing explanation of technology and its "purpose" in the current world condition
Apparently, some people are suspicious of Jeffrey's death at the age of 63. Maybe it has something to do with what Jeffrey was saying at a prophecy conference:
Obama & Interpol - Grant Jeffrey & Perry Stone This was from a Prophecy Conference in early 2010. Grant Jeffrey and Perry Stone are speaking of Obama's Executive Order signed in on December 17th, 2009
Hmmm...sounds familiar. Recall that Andrew Breitbart died of a sudden heart attack soon after his speech at CPAC in 2011 - where he stated that Obama would be totally vetted prior to the 2012 election?
Also, there is much suspicion surrounding the death of Tom Clancy!
Now we find out that Grant Jeffrey, who has spoken at prophecy conferences about Obama and Interpol, and wrote books on Shadow Government: How the Global Elite Plan to Destroy Democracy and Your Freedom (made into a film) and Final Warning: Economic Collapse and the Coming World Government; had also suddenly died of a seizure.
Can't prove anything, but I must agree that these deaths are eerily suspicious.

A Call To Repentance
In my previous post, The Urgency, I mentioned that one of my main concerns about some Christian pastors in our post-modern world is the fact that there seems to be a move towards a "grace only" type of preaching. Therefore, the omission of the need for repentance before asking Jesus into one's heart for salvation runs rampant in churches today.
Why is that?
There are probably hundreds of reasons that we could list. However, I will mention two reasons and concentrate the balance of this post on the second reason.
1. Christians find themselves in a war over words.
Here is one example. In the past, I attended a neighborhood Bible study at a Christian friend's church. I really enjoyed the studies, however, I felt that some of the leaders were annoyed when I mentioned the political battles going on over same-sex issues - including the marriage issue. When Proposition 8 came up on the ballot, this church did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to promote its passage! I was very sad to see that. One of the most important pressing issues of our time which could literally take away freedom of religious speech rights for pastors in the pulpit (will be discussed further in future posts) was ignored by the pastors and congregation of this church.
2. The end times controversy and the call to repentance.
Many Christian churches do not preach from the book of Revelation. They do not discuss it, nor do they reveal how Bible prophecy is coming to fruition right before our very eyes!
Why is that?
I think that many churches are busy "doing things" to help improve their communities. That is wonderful and important, too, of course. But to ignore the signs of the times and not to place the urgency of the Great Commission before anything else is error - in my judgment.
Pastors and churches need to do both - simultaneously.
This is not a difficult task. However, in my research I have found that the pastors and churches that do not get involved in political issues and/or end times prophecy and/or preparation of the congregation for the possibility of the Rapture happening in our day - do so because they don't want to "offend" anybody.
I ask you. Is that what Jesus would want of us? I mean, I'm not saying that we should purposely offend anyone. That is not what I meant. However, God's Word is full of verses that tell us that the true gospel of Jesus Christ is offensive - especially to those who are perishing.
What is at the crux of the offensiveness of the gospel? Our need to repent.
I peeked into a new book I recently bought called "The End Times Controversy: The Second Coming Under Attack" by Tim LaHaye and Thomas Ice. In the chapter called "The War Over Words" we read about "a call to repentance."
There is much more to share from this segment of the book. However, I wanted to pause for a moment and reiterate what was written:
This is exactly why Jesus Christ told us that "we must be born again." (See John 3)
What is the gospel all about?
Repentance!
Christ came to rescue us all from the penalty for our sin - eternal damnation. This is why he came to earth the first time - for the remission of the sins of men. All who would confess of their sin, repent of them, and ask Jesus into their hearts via the power of the Holy Spirit of God, would be saved.
Note this: Jesus will not enter into an unrepentant heart.
Period.
A person can claim that they have obtained all the mercy, grace, and love of Jesus, but Christ will not be fooled by them. He (Jesus) knows his own! He knows those who are genuinely repentant of their sins. He knows those who truly believe in him. He knows those who have invited him to dwell within their hearts.
Remember that margarine commercial from the 70's where the announcer tasts the margarine (and thinks it tastes just like butter) but then finds out that it's not butter? She says, "it's not nice to fool Mother Nature!"
Well, we can't fool Father God. We can't fool Jesus Christ. He KNOWS those who have genuinely repented and have made him Lord and Savior of their lives!
Continuing:
I have already shared the brief story here about an encounter that T.V. talk show host Larry King (who is Jewish) had with the Reverend Billy Graham. During their conversation, Rev. Graham asked Larry (paraphrased here), 'If Jesus (or, perhaps he said, "the Messiah") were to return today, what would be the first thing you would ask him?'
Larry replied (paraphrased here), 'is this your first or second visit to earth?'
For those Jews who are eagerly awaiting the coming of their Messiah, the last few paragraphs would appear to be offensive to them. It is not my intention to offend. I am simply pointing out what the book says, what transpired in the Graham and King conversation, and how this relates to end times prophecy.
The book deals mostly with the end times controversy between preterists and futurists regarding biblical prophecy. However, for the purpose of this post, I am focusing on the call to repentance that both Christians and Jewish scholars hold to regarding the coming of the kingdom of God.
In another post, I will cover the "promise of hastening" section of this chapter. For now, I will skip over to the end of the chapter and share the final two paragraphs written there.
Dr. David Jeremiah's book "What In The World Is Going On?" covers this in great detail in the last chapter. You can also view the final sermon on this series over at Lightsource.com. You can also view each of the previous sermons available in the series at that site.
The naysayers who dislike Christians discussing, and/or revealing end times prophecy often scoff at posts like this one. So be it. They have the free speech right to think and say whatever they want.
For me, however, the accuracy of prophecy fulfillment by Jesus in his first coming gives me the utmost confidence and certainty that His promises for the future will ultimately be fulfilled.
Dr. Jeremiah concludes his book:

"What In The World Is Going On?: Ten Prophetic Clues You Cannot Afford to Ignore" by Dr. David Jeremiah; 2008, Thomas Nelson publishers, p. 237.
Both John the Baptist and Jesus began their ministries by proclaiming to the Jewish people that they must "repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand" (see Matthew 3:2; 4:17). This was the prerequisite for the kingdom's arrival. Remember that at the beginning of this chapter we saw that "is at hand" is a perfect tense in the Greek that means "the coming of the kingdom has been completed," but this does not mean that the kingdom has begun, or that it must necessarily begin. The kingdom had arrived, but certainly had not started!
Studying Jewish rabbinical thought helps us gain a better understanding about the issue of repentance and about how and when the kingdom would start. For example, one of the most respected writings on what the Jews thought during the time of Christ is found in the classic volume Society and Religion in the Second Temple Period 66 and in The Messiah Texts,67 both written by respected Jewish scholars. Raphael Patai writes in The Messiah Texts that from before the time of Christ, and even during the last two thousand years, "the expected and hoped-for Coming [of the Messiah] was simply indispensable for the continued existence of Israel....The Messiah was prevented from coming because the generation was unworthy; because there was too many sinners in Israel."68 Pharisaic Judaism believed "in the futility of 'forcing the millennium' and said the Messiah could not come while Israel was under foreign domination." All depended on repentance, on a fundamental change in men's souls."69
There is much more to share from this segment of the book. However, I wanted to pause for a moment and reiterate what was written:
"All depended on repentance, on a fundamental change in men's souls."
Continuing:
In Society and Religion in the Second Temple Period, Baras and Avi-Yonah argue that during the period of the Gospels, Jesus taught that the kingdom of heaven was at hand and all that was needed and necessary was for the people to repent.70 These authors add that "as the herald of the Messiah, John [the Baptist] had to prepare the way for the Messiah's coming by preaching repentance and pious deeds. He exhorted the people to repent, for the kingdom of heaven was near."71 But the kingdom did not come because such a change of heart did not take place among the vast majority of the Jewish people.
Because Israel did not repent, orthodox rabbis have argued from the Old Testament thatthe pangs of the Messianic times...must come upon Israel because of its wickedness...the pangs of the Messianic times are imagined as having heavenly as well as earthly sources and expressions...awesome cosmic cataclysms will be visited upon the earth: conflagrations, pestilence, famine, earthquakes....These will be paralleled by evils brought by men upon themselves....Things will come to such a head that people will despair of Redemption. This will last seven years. And then, unexpectedly, the Messiah will come.72
With the Old Testament in view, the orthodox Jews of the New Testament era held to the scenario just described: 1) The Messiah could not come if the Jews did not repent of their sins; 2) If Israel did not repent, the people would face great persecution; 3) the people would come to face a terrible period of seven years of Tribulation on earth; and 4) finally, the Messiah would come.
In contrast to preterists, futurists see the same prophetic plan unfolding in the Old Testament that some orthodox Jews have always observed. The Jewish people held to correct beliefs about end-time events in Christ's day; the only difference is that they refused to believe that indeed He was the promised Messiah!
The Message of Prophecy
When Christ presented Himself as Israel's king, it was incumbent upon the Jews to repent of their sins in order for the messianic rule to begin. The issue of repentance overrides such expressions as "the kingdom of God is at hand." However, even with this expression, the more basic idea is that the coming of the kingdom of God is certain to come someday. Likewise, the expression "I come quickly" seems to be more accurately translated, "I come speedily, swiftly" as with quickness of movement.
In the larger contextual picture of Bible prophecy, there seems to have been little misunderstanding as to what was being communicated actually happening with these expressions. In the great mystery of the providence of God, we can now look back upon specific verses of Scripture that remind us that Christ must first suffer and die before He would reign. Most Bible teachers, except preterists, seem to comprehend that because Israel refused to repent of their sins, the Messiah did not take the throne. But following the seven-year Tribulation, He will return, regather the people of Israel, and begin His 1,000-year reign in Jerusalem!
The prophets, the angels, and the apostle John all echo the words of promise from Jesus Himself that He will return. God's Word further amplifies the promise by giving us clues in prophecy to help us identify the signs that His return is close at hand. The signs that tell us the second coming of the Lord is drawing near should motivate us as never before to live in readiness. As we noted in chapter 5, the Rapture, which is the next event on the prophetic calendar, will take place seven years before the events we have discussed in this final chapter. Future events cast their shadows before them. As we anticipate His return, we are not to foolishly set dates and leave our jobs and homes to wait for Him on some mountain. We are to remain busy doing the work set before us, living in love and serving in ministry, even when the days grow dark and the nights long. Be encouraged! Be anticipating! We are secure; we belong to Christ. And as the old gospel song says, "Soon and very soon, we are going to see the King!"

David's Incredible Prophecy Of Israel's Enemies Today
With all of the turmoil currently escalating in, around, and against, Israel, I thought that I would re-post the fact that we are seeing Biblical prophecy occuring right before our eyes today! In my former post We Are Witnessing Biblical Prophecy, I shared some Bible verses from Psalms 83:2-8 which were inspired by God and written down by David:
*******
This prophecy reads like today's newspaper (or internet articles) about the nations who are attacking and/or poised to attack, Israel.

Ishmaelites...descended from Ishmael, son of Hagar (Arabs)
Moab.........son of Lot, (Jordan, east of Dead Sea)
Hagarenes....descended from one of the 12 sons of Hagar
Gebal........ancient Byblus, (north of today's Beirut)
Ammon........son of Lot, (capital of Jordan)
Amalek.......descended from Esau (southern Jordan)
Philistines..from Ham, (throughout Palestine, Syria)
Tyre.........a Phoenician city (Lebanon)
Assur........founded Assyria; (Iraq - Iran)
Children of Lot, Moab, and Ammon, (Jordan)

We Are Witnessing Biblical Prophecy
I received the following in an email from the Religious Freedom Coalition:
*******
IRAN CALLS FOR DESTRUCTION OF ISRAEL
The new president of Iran, a man who was personally involved in the kidnapping of American diplomats in the 1970's, has called for the total destruction of Israel. Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Friday rejected widespread condemnation of the remarks he made last Wednesday, calling for action to "wipe Israel off the map".
Ahmadinejad's bravado is a direct result of European appeasement toward Iran's nuclear weapons program. Europe's permissive attitude toward Iran allowed him to call for the complete destruction of the Jewish state at a conference titled The World Without Zionism. In the Arab world the stories were run about this anti-Semitic conference with no negative comments at all. In the Western World Prime Minister Tony Blair led the charge against these outrageous comments and hinted that there could be military action against Iran. (See London Times story).
Tony Blair appears to be the only European leader who actually understands that we are already involved in World War III and that no amount of appeasement toward radical Islamic states will stop the bloodshed.

Today, we are continually witnessing Biblical prophecy happening right before our very eyes!
As astounding as it was, the prophecies surrounding the rebirth of Israel did not stop with the declaration of Israel's independence in 1948.

Tyre.........a Phoenician city (Lebanon)
Assur........founded Assyria; (Iraq - Iran)
Children of Lot, Moab, and Ammon, (Jordan)
Ezekiel 35:1-5, 10 describes the coming judgment of God against these Arab nations, including Edom (Mount Seir) in Jordan, because of their centuries-old hatred of the Jews.
Ezekiel 35:1 - 15
Judgment on Mount Seir
35 Moreover the word of the Lord came to me, saying, 2 "Son of man, set your face against Mount Seir and prophesy against it, 3 and say to it, 'Thus says the Lord God:
"Behold, O Mount Seir, I am against you;
I will stretch out My hand against you,
And make you most desolate;

Bible Prophecy Being Fulfilled
I think that the election of 2012 is a huge wake-up call for Christians not to put their hope or faith in any political party or person. This year's Thanksgiving post explains why.
Since that particular election day on November 6, 2012, I have read so many blog posts and comments at other sites which reveal how absolutely devastated people are (not just Christians) that BHO was re-elected. For some, it has even spoiled their Thanksgiving holiday. Many are worried, scared, fearful, anxious, and feel doomed because they have seen what this BADministration has already done to crush our freedoms, rights, liberties, and pursuit of happiness. Therefore, the next four years can only take us further away from the foundations that our nation was built upon by installing a socialist, dependent, cradle-to-grave existence which we know has not worked throughout history and is currently destroying many European countries like France, Greece, and Italy.
In addition to this, there are many members of the communist party U.S.A. in Congress who approve of the awful direction we are being forced into which will decimate our Constitutional Republic.
Yes. There is a LOT to be worried and concerned about! However, everything that is happening (including the rise of radical political Islam in the "Arab Spring" takeover of nations previously friendly and tolerant of Israel) has been prophesied in the Bible.
Psalm 83:2-8 is a prophecy of David where three thousand years ago, God inspired King David to predict that the reborn nation of Israel (in 1948) would be immediately surrounded by enemies, including the Arab nations of Jordan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Syria.
Psa 83:2 For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head.
Psa 83:3 They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones.
Psa 83:4 They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from [being] a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.
Psa 83:5 For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee:
Psa 83:6 The tabernacles of Edom, and the Ishmaelites; of Moab, and the Hagarenes;
Psa 83:7 Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; the Philistines with the inhabitants of Tyre;
Psa 83:8 Assur also is joined with them: they have holpen the children of Lot. Selah.
God is given the glory for continued protection of the Jewish State of Israel! The creation of the Iron Dome defense system has shot down the majority of rockets recently fired from the Gaza Strip into Israel.
I can still recall the ridicule that President Ronald Reagan received from the Democrats in the 1980's over his vision of creating an anti-missile defense system - mockingly called "Star Wars." Today, such a vision has become a reality - and just in time to be used by our friends and strategic partners in Israel against the recent attacks from the terrorist leaders of Hamas.
Hamas has never recinded it's call for complete destruction of the Jewish state, and they spend millions of dollars to smuggle weapons and rockets to shoot into Israel (where 5 Israelis died) instead of using the money for feeding and improving conditions for the Palestinian people (where over 100 died in this latest attack). What is wrong with this picture??? It is PROOF that the terrorists do NOT want peace and NEVER WILL HAVE PERMANENT PEACE WITH ISRAEL because their goal (along with previous Arab terrorist countries) is to destroy Israel.
No matter how hard they try, it WON'T HAPPEN. Why? Because the Bible tells us that Jesus Christ will intervene at a pre-destined moment near the culmination of history and with only one weapon -his Word - and just the word spoken will decimate the opposition.
I first read about David's prophecy in a book called "The Signature of God" written by Grant R. Jeffrey in 1996. I picked it up to read again, just to see how much closer we are to many of the prophecies included in the Bible and to renew in my own mind the reality about the incredible precision of Bible prophecy that has already been fulfilled in this generation.
The desire of the progressives (which includes a boat-load of nefarious individuals including liberals (the Saul Alinsky radicals), socialists, communists, radical Islamists, environmental fanatics etc.) around the world to create a "one world government" was predicted over two thousand years ago by the prophets Daniel and John. They described that there would be a global, world government led by the coming dictator, the Antichrist in the last days (Daniel 7:14).
"And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: the power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him" (Revelation 13:7,8).
There has never been a world government during thousands of years of human history, but the U.N., WTO, and the World Court are moving us quickly beyond the days of national sovereignty and individual nations.
If you go to the link above, you can read a summary of what else in covered and described through Biblical prophecy in the book. It's a fascinating read!
