Tolerance is a Crime When Applied to Evil (Thomas Mann).

That quote is something that every American must remember the next time you hear any radical Islamic terrorism-supporting imam (like Rauf), or the leftist media of mass deception pundits, or any other person who supports Rauf and his ilk!

From Atlas Shrugs:

Here is a so-called soundbite of "tolerance" - radical Muslim taqiyya style:

Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf: "We tend to forget, in the West, that the United States has more Muslim blood on its hands than al Qaida has on its hands of
innocent non Muslims. You may remember that the US-led sanctions against Iraq led to the death of over half a million Iraqi children. This has been documented by the United Nations. And when Madeleine Albright, who has become a friend of m
ine over the last couple of years, when she was Secretary of State and was asked whether this was worth it, said it was worth it.

No mention of the 270 million victims of over a millennium of jihadi wars, land appropriations, cultural annihilation and enslavement. No mention of the recent slaughter by Muslims of Christians, Hindus, Jews, non-believers in Indonesia, Thailand, Ethiopia, Somalia, Philippines, Lebanon, Israel, Russia, China................ no candor, no criticism of Islam
.

Tolerance is a crime when applied to evil (Thomas Mann).

Christine;
I was just listening to Rush Limbaugh and I can hardly believe that he played a recording of that very quote by the imam. Rush has been doing a pretty good job pointing out how the media is down-playing the 9/11 attacks. Saying things like 3,000 people died instead of using the word "murdered". And the buildings "collapsed", while omitting the fact they had planes crashed into them.
I saw this post over at Atlas. She did a good job in putting that together. Thanks for posting it here.

Hi Steve,

Sean Hannity just mentioned it on his radio show. Apparently, it is posted over on The Drudge Report, too.

I wonder if imam Rauf included the children in Iraq who were murdered by that bloody dictator, Saddam Hussein, in his statistic? What about the 300,000 people who were buried in a mass grave and found by U.S. soldiers? What about the gassing of the Kurds in the north? How many died there? And - by whom were they killed?

A secular, evil, murdering dictator like Saddam Hussein, made strange bedfellows with the radical Islamists that he helped fund (e.g. funneling the Oil for Food money to support terrorist bombings by Hamas and Hezbollah against Israel) in order to have his enemies killed. Rauf tries to paint his own kind of history and doesn't include the truth about Saddam's brutal killing spree in his own country!!

Taqiyya - plain and out in the open. Let those who have eyes and ears see the continual deception of Rauf and all of his ilk!

Christine, for the first day or so after the Oklahoma City bombing, there was much speculation in the press that radical Muslims were involved. The words terrorist and murderer were tossed around quite a lot, usually prefixed by “Muslim”. When the bomber who killed 168 people turned out to be an all-American boy, the press (and others) quickly backpedaled, because, well, there just can't be any such thing as a Christian terrorist. (That means that Eric Rudolph wasn't one either.)

So I can understand the reluctance of the press to be so, um...trigger-happy now. After all, the job of the press is to inform, so we can make up our own minds, right?

To answer your question, the Iraqi gas attack on the Kurds in Halabja killed some 5,000 people and injured more than twice that number. That was one of the crimes Saddam Hussein was prosecuted (and hanged) for. Hussein's former general Ali Hasan al-Majid ("Chemical Ali") orchestrated that attack, and he was hanged earlier this year for it, along with his other crimes. BTW, the Halabja gassing was the largest chemical weapons attack directed against a civilian-populated area in history.

But then, I don't suppose Imam Rauf doesn't study history any more closely than any other religious leader, unless it directly connects with his faith.

The difference is that Timothy McVeigh (no evidence he was a genuine Christian - but perhaps a CINO) did not pronounce that the attack was done for his "god," but the muslims claimed that the 9/11 attacks on America were done in the name of allah.

McVeigh was a Pagan New Ager that just plain hated the US Government, not a Christian. That was a lie created by the media. Rudolf may had consider himself a Christian with a perverse sense of duty, but unlike in Islam, he's been condemed and disfellowshipped. Can you name one Muslim Imam that has condemed the terrorist attack. Good luck.

Timothy McVeigh was not a Christian, in name or otherwise. I'm fairly confident Mr. Rauf knows much of the history of his own "faith".

Hi GM,

"there just can't be any such thing as a Christian terrorist."

Well of course there can. The major distinction is that Christian terrorists aren't conducting terror to promote Christian domination. This distinguishes them from both Muslim terrorists who routinely use terror to allow their brand of Islam to take power and atheist terrorists who routinely use terror to promote their dreams of an atheist state. Lenin was a great example. He used illegal terror before taking power to soften the czarist regime, and then became an even greater tyrant after taking control. That is what atheists do when they get power after all.
