I thought, how in the world did I link directly to this bullcrap??
Ahh...then I realized that it was just one of the latest articles to appear at Cross Action News - which is a Conservative Christian news website.
Well, if you thought THAT article was bad enough, just go on over and watch a very brief video clip of a democrat who has the gall to compare Obama to Jesus and Palin to Pontius Pilate on House Floor!!
The Dems are losing it!!! BIG TIME!!! They know Obama's fake appeal is waning among the sane Americans who are witnessing the once labeled "Obamessiah" as the whining, inexperienced and frustrated child that he is now revealing himself to be!!! This guy can't even take the rigors of a failing campaign! How on earth could he face the evils of this world with intelligence, conviction and steadfast decision making?
BTW, how absolutely socialistic is it that Freedland (an oxymoronic name considering his politics) has disabled comments after his article?
Freedland also needs to check his disparaging allegations before publishing them:
Palin did not ban books in Wasilla as mayor
Yes, Palin Did Stop That Bridge
But, there is even more! Well - just look at this list of articles over at Cross Action:
Gallup Daily: McCain 48%, Obama 43%
‘Spare Me the Phony Outrage,’ Obama Says
Texas Begins Evacuating as Hurricane Ike Intensifies in Gulf
Is "Obamicane Barack" about to intensify his real outrage over the polls that show him losing ground? I doubt that his anger over Sarah Palin's popularity with real, genuine Americans as the Republican ticket V.P. pick is anything but "phony" for him! I heard he's having lunch with Bill? Bet he really regrets rejecting Hillary for V.P. now!
Actually all of Obama's nonsense pales in the face of his awful political positions. Like this one:
Obama: Terror groups have ‘legitimate claims’
I would have to agree with this writer:
The Obama Campaign’s Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day
Conclusion of writer Mark Hemingway:
Now that's a finely tuned campaign! Keep up the good work guys!
Yep! Please do keep it up!!

I have been watching fox news. McCain as of now has a 15 point lead for the independent votes. This is an exciting time, maybe somewhat crazy but exciting non-the-less. God Bless Tamela
I completely agree with you about Obama, and wonder why the Democrats would risk so much with an inexperienced statesman.
At best and most kindly we can say that maybe someday he would be suitable to run for the presidency, but not now.
Don't misunderstand, I would not be able to agree with the policies that I can discern from his political speech endeavors.
It is important to talk about these things, and we must pray. There is power in the throneroom.
Blessings,
Vicki
Hi Christine,
Sorry I have not posted any comments. I have been on sick leave (so to say) for the last few weeks.
I agree with Tamela. These are exciting times. Fearfully exciting is a more accurate phrase. How many times has history seen well predicted outcomes turn upside down? Or, how many times has there been a claim to 'fixing' the race?
We need to stay prayerful.
Jim

ah, how nice to see the consistent Christian commentary coming in such a refreshing, ephesians 4:29-esque manner.
christine, i'm positively baffled why these charges of hypocrisy keep rearing their ugly heads - can you help me understand?...

Mike,
Sometimes, the truth hurts. It just does.
While listening to Savage's radio show yesterday, he brought up the fact that Obama has problems regarding women. You can read about his conclusion here.
A psychiatrist (age 32) called into the show and agreed with Savage's idea that Obama suffers from an Oedipal Complex.
The fact that he was abandoned by not just one, but two fathers goes to show how such a complex was most likely excacerbated during his growing up years.
Personally, I do not think it is hypocritical to point out the truth.
When Jesus called the Jewish leaders "a brood of vipers," you may think that it was insulting. But he was sharing the truth - in a highly descriptive and hyperbolic way.
This election is way to important for this country to elect the wrong kind of man for the office of the presidency. I am convinced (as well as MANY, MANY people I have discussed the topic with) that Obama is the wrong kind of man for the job.
Tamela,
I believe that God is answering the prayers of His faithful. McCain's selection of Sarah Palin has turned this election around.
I will be praying, every day, right up until the election day results for the success of the McCain/Palin ticket!
God bless!
Hi Vicki!
Welcome to my blog! I look forward to checking out your site.
Obama may have extraordinary oratory skills, but I find him lacking in the experience and action departments. With most of his ideology completely the opposite of what the Bible teaches, I hope that he never reaches the presidency.
I can agree that more needs to be done to improve health care accessibility for the poor and low wage earners, but not universal health care. I can agree that tax relief is needed, but not at the cost of taxing small businesses to death. I can agree that gas prices need to come down and we need energy independence, but Obama opposes what is needed to get those two things done.
His positions on unfettered abortion and same-sex agenda promotion most likely will never change. Therefore, I could never vote for the man.
Thanks for visiting and commenting! I hope you will visit often and share your thoughts!
God bless you!
Christine
When Jesus called the Jewish leaders "a brood of vipers," you may think that it was insulting...
not at all. were he here today, and saying the same thing to you (which he would be), i'd enjoy it immensely. but i'll leave you to argue with james and john about who gets to sit closest to him, or who walks in his stead today speaking for him.
i actually caught some of savage, too, believe it or not. now dr. savage is, like me, lamenting the fact that we don't have a THIRD choice in this race. his support of mccain bears little resemblance to the excitement you share. and, like me, he is both embarrased and saddened by the lack of real discussion we have on issues anymore, preferring to argue about lipstick on pit bulls and how the truth can be shaded just enough to avoid outright lying.
i certainly don't cast myself in with the so-called 'liberal elite' - my masters is from a seminary, and i can't even spell derrida - but the words 'jerry springer' did pop into my mind this morning as i heard audio of sarah's touchdown speech in alaska last night. i agree that, to an extent, we want 'real people,' but we don't want 'reality show' appeal just because they make us feel a little better.

Jim,
I was worried that you have been sick. Two weeks is a long time. Hoping and praying for your full recovery.
Every four years, the presidential election cycle becomes crazier!
As I have stated before, I am praying fervently for McCain to win.
I am trying not to worry so much about Obama getting in. But it is hard not to.
If Obama wins, I will see it as a judgment upon our nation. We would be in for four miserable years under a Marxist socialist and all that would "change" about our country will not be good.
I pray for God's mercy upon our nation! I pray that it is His plan for us to be led by the man whom the Lord saved from possible death in a Vietnam prison. In a former post, I described this election as McCain's destiny. I pray that it is God's will for our nation.
Some time ago, there was a Steve Martin movie called "Leap of Faith." Not an exceptional movie, but it did make an exceptional point, that the fake is terrified of the genuine. The lie can't long survive in the presence of the real thing. It's impossible to know at this point how "real" Palin is simply because the scrutiny is beginning. On the other hand, it's very easy to know how "real" Obama is by the way the media avoids any serious attention. Contrast this with the way wild rumors are immediately circulated about Palin. She is certainly inspiring fear. I think the fakes are in recognition shock.
gary, i resent being called a 'fake'. it's exactly that kind of my-way-is-the-only-right-way - no, my-way-is-God's-way - attitude that turns so many off to the evangelical positions in politics. i have solid reasons for being for obama at the moment. to make judgments on him based upon what the media does tells me your selection criteria is pretty nebulous.
sarah palin does not have the foreign policy credentials we'd like to see; can we agree on that? whether or not anyone can HAVE those credentials until they've been in the job is the reason i give her the benefit of the doubt.
your black and white view not only of the issues but of people - people, Gary - is what is so damning of your positions. you are not God, and you do not know people's hearts. you and christine both should be ashamed of yourselves for wearing a Christian label and bad-mouthing and sniping at people as you do.
and to think that you've got to pray 'God's candidate' into office is not only theologically stupid, but paints God to be as hypocritical as you all are, believing abortions are not 'pro-life' but somehow a million dead iraqis and countless millions of refugees is.

hey - somebody finally said what i been sayin'...
The Obama-Palin Dream Ticket.
m.r.
Mike,
I was not referring to you as fake. My reference goes to everyone who considers themselves a champion of women and/or tolerance, and then attacks her because she doesn't fit what their mold of a successful woman should be. Why don't you ask a few questions to make sure you understand what people are really saying before you attack them?
You also employ the typical liberal tactic of associating different, unrelated topics as a diversion. No one to the best of my knowledge has given any particular discussion relating refugees, Iraqis and abortions. Why don't you try to stick with a cohesive argument. You might make for headway.
I will agree that Sarah Palin is not my ideal candidate. I do think she, as the VP candidate, has a great deal many more executive credentials than the the democrats Presidential candidate.
Obama convinced me early on that he was an empty suit with two facts. The first was his tendency to vote "present" when controversial votes came up. Call it whatever you like, but I can't find it in my gut to call it leadership. The second was during a debate or interview when he was asked if he would raise capital gains taxes. He said that he would. The moderator then went on to point out that when the taxes were lowered, the actual revenues went up. He muttered that he was trying to make things "more fair." So he was willing to increase the deficit and hurt everyone for the appearance of being "fair." Again, no leadership, but worse willing to screw the country to be seen in a particular light.
Your statement about my black and white view of people is somewhat correct. I view all of us as needing God. Your statement seems to imply that you do not have such black and white view. That's deceptive and hypocritical. Your repeated writings show that you consider anyone willing to stand for a moral absolute as evil and worthy of scorn.
I guess that we differ in our views of what constitutes a hypocrite. Yours seems to be anyone who advocates a standard that they cannot maintain. To me, that's someone pursuing an ideal. To me, a hypocrite is someone who says a particular behavior is wrong for you, but alright for them. Cases would be slamming someone else for lack of tolerance while personally attacking their attitudes, or accusing someone of being prejudiced against women while doing everything they can to destroy a female candidate because she doesn't fit into their mold.
If you would like to have a serious discussion, that's great. If not, then why don't you go pick up some more stones to throw? I think the storage bin in your glass house is getting a little low...
Republished an article By: Michael Reagan Sarah Palin Emerges As New Ronald Reagan and linked to your post.
I understand some in the media are calling the people of Wasilla angry now. Well Palin is one of us.
Thanks everyone, for all of your comments,
Thanks for the link, Wayne.
Know what?
I don't even want to do anymore Internet searches on Obama. Every time I do, I find out even MORE disturbing information about him!!
Free Republic post: Obama mentor Frank Marshall Davis wrote shocking, autobiographical pornography
UGH!!! I am SO SICK TO MY STOMACH!!!!
If you take the time to read through the comments, you will see that people are noticing the fact that Obama DOESN'T HAVE ANY NORMAL FRIENDS!
Also, did you notice how the DNC skipped over his college days in the video intro to his speech?
I think I now know why!!
Several days ago, I got an email with information that shares how George Soros is financing, and using Obama as his puppet to get access to the White House. My email is cluttered with messages, but when I find it I will post it. The email was describing another book coming out called, "Obama Unmasked" - or something like that.
New Book Exposes Obama's October & November Surprises
Help Unmask Obama!
Excerpt from second "Unmask" page that contains my concerns about Soros:
Back when he was an Illinois Senator, why did Obama vote "Present" a record-setting 130 times? Is that leadership? Is that "change"?
When Obama did vote on important issues, why did he vote the "Democratic Socialists of America" party line every time? (You could call that "change" but not the kind we need!)
A dirty Chicago machine
made Obama, and will be
expecting blood loyalty...
How easily can Obama be bought? Unsealing the federal indictment against his close pal and fundraiser (and convicted felon) Tony "the Fixer" Rezko should reveal plenty.
Earlier we spoke of two revelations in Obama Unmasked that may well blow the lid off this election. Okay, first, a source close to the mad billionaire George Soros has revealed that Soros is planning...
An "October Surprise" to make Soros
a fortune and Obama a President.
Soros' lefty candidates have lost the last two elections, and he's pissing mad. He has $7 billion to spend to get it right this time! He is reportedly planning to sack the U.S. economy, make himself billions richer, and put Obama in the White House marching to his mad tune. All the details, as well as how you'll be affected financially, are in the book.
And out on the left coast, Obama has a powerful ally in billionaire Hollywood mogul David Geffen.
Geffen's "November Surprise" could
trick millions into voting for Obama.
Nobody knows how to spin a yarn better than Hollywood's finest, David Geffen. And according to our source, he'll be a whirling dervish!
Radical leftists see Obama as their ticket to power—and they are pulling out all the stops. Not just an October Surprise, but a November Surprise as well. The first from New York, the second from Hollywood.
We may be in for the craziest election ever, with so many unknowns...
That's why Floyd has worked so hard to peel back the mask and reveal the real Obama, his true political leanings, and what we could expect from an Obama presidency.
People...we've GOT TO DO ALL WE CAN TO MAKE SURE WE'RE NOT STUCK IN AN OBAMINATION!!!
