Dem's Health Care Strategy Written In Federal Prison?

Back during the TEA Party protests, I made a sign describing the push for government run health care reform as "ObamaScare HELLcare." Did readers think that my sign was a bit over the top? Perhaps you won't think it was once you read the current post over at Big Government.com! In fact, I now do not think the title I had given it was strong enough!!

How the HELL do WE THE PEOPLE get these criminals out of OUR WHITE HOUSE????? We need to put a STOP to this NOW!!!! Maybe it really is time to protect ourselves, before we loose everything!!!

Who exactly is We the People? I am part of this country, but every time you write that passage, you make it sound like you are the real Americans. I am just curious...

I use the term to describe those who believe in what the Founding Fathers envisioned for this nation. It describes those who hold dear to our Charters of Freedom, including adherance to the Constitution of the United States. The description became popular to use again when the 9.12 Project began and was used during the TEA Party protests.

In my sidebar, there is a further explanation of what We The People believe. It comes directly from the Declaration of Independence:

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.--That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, --That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.


The executive branch and the legislative branch are there to SERVE We The People - not to dictate to us or force us to serve them. As Glenn Beck quipped, "we surround them" - meaning that they are supposed to be working for us. It is highly obvious that the will of the majority of people in this nation is being ignored. We don't want tax and spend policies. We don't want cap and tax (trade). We don't want the public option health care. Yet, millions who protested over the past year are labeled as "astroturf" by PeLIARsi.

Ahh...don't get me started on her...

Thanks. I am glad to see that I am part of the We the People too (except for the last bit)!
I think any American would not want to have a bad government. The thing that we are stuck on is how to define 'bad government.'
