AWFUL GITMO DECISION!

How appalling is THIS! The Supreme Court in a 5-4 Decision Lets Guantanamo Prisoners Challenge Detention in U.S. Courts!!

Whatever happened to our original Founding Fathers intention that courts should not make new law? Courts are only supposed to interpret current law! This is happening time and time again - all over the United States! Rogue judges who overturn the votes of 4 MILLION PEOPLE in the CA Supreme Ct. decision regarding same-sex "marriage."

Now, we have the U.S. Supreme Court overturning what Congress has passed regarding the importance of Gitmo detainees being tried in military tribunals!!!

WHAT A TERRIBLE DECISION!

This is AWFUL!

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL!

THE MAGNITUDE OF THIS DECISION WILL, ULTIMATELY, HARM OUR TROOPS. IT WILL WREAK HAVOC UPON OUR ABILITY TO DEFEAT THE ENEMY IN THE WAR ON TERROR!

I NEVER THOUGHT THAT FIVE SUPREME COURT JUDGES WOULD BE SO ABSOLUTELY STUPID AS TO GIVE OUR U.S. CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS TO ENEMY COMBATANTS!!!

WHAT A NIGHTMARE!!!

Update: Vigorous dissents
In dissent, Chief Justice John Roberts criticized his colleagues for striking down what he called "the most generous set of procedural protections ever afforded aliens detained by this country as enemy combatants."

Justices Samuel Alito, Antonin Scalia and Clarence Thomas also dissented.

Scalia said the nation is "at war with radical Islamists" and that the court's decision "will make the war harder on us. It will almost certainly cause more Americans to be killed."
