Protest This Out of Control Government!

Don't you wish that the bloated Federal Government would learn from California's Governmental mistakes? [Note: scroll down to George Will article]. I certainly do!

But they won't. Mark my words.

They will continue down the rabid, liberal leftist spending and taxing path of destruction; despite the millions of Americans who have called, written, and emailed against (1,000 to 1 against!!!) the Porkulus bills.

Excerpt from article:

But what actually ails California is centrist evasions. The state's crisis has been caused by "moderation," understood as splitting the difference between extreme liberalism and hyper liberalism, a "reasonableness" that merely moderates the speed at which the ever-expanding public sector suffocates the private sector.

California has become liberalism's laboratory, in which the case for fiscal conservatism is being confirmed. The state is a slow learner and hence will remain a drag on the nation's economy. But it will be a net benefit to the nation if the federal government and other state governments profit from California's negative example, which Californians can make more vividly instructive by voting down the propositions on May 19.

Remember the story of the mule that paid attention only after being walloped by a two-by-four? The Democratic-controlled state Legislature is like that. Fortunately, it has handed voters some two-by-fours -- the initiatives. Resounding rejections of them should get Sacramento's attention.

We are now seeing an out-of-control federal government make the same mistakes that California has made. Typical, liberal leftist Democratic control that ruins not only a state like California, but attempts to ruin our entire Constitutional Republic - the United States of America.

Hundreds of thousands took to the streets for TEA (Taxed Enough Already) parties to express their grievances on April 15th. Tomorrow, our nation celebrates Independence Day. Hundreds of thousands will again be out at TEA Parties to protest this out of control government and its terrible spending, taxing, job destroying, liberty squelching, Marxist policies.

Why does Congress ignore the will of the People?

Because they think they know better than the public.

Guess what?

They don't!

Why?

Because they are up in their high-paying, high towers of position, looking down upon the "plebes" of society; and making the wrong decisions because they don't know how the average American lives anymore.

It is interesting to find out that conversations and disagreements that we are currently having today were feared, and eerily predicted by the Anti-Federalists back in 1787 when the Constitution was being vigorously argued as it raged throughout the nation.

Note this paragraph from the introduction to a booklet on "The Constitution of the United States with the Declaration of Independence and the Articles of Confederation" written by R.B. Bernstein in 2002:

[A]nti-Federalist denounced the Constitution's system of representation as inadequate. They mocked the House of Representatives and the Senate as too small by comparison with the large state legislatures. They argued that this unjust scheme of representation would limit service in Congress to powerful, wealthy men. Federalists retorted that the Constitution's scheme of representation was designed to choose men of enlarged views, who could grasp the nation's interests; moreover, reapportionment would expand the House beyond its original size. Finally, Congress's powers were limited to avoid infringing the people's rights and the states' legitimate powers, yet extensive enough to safeguard the general good.

Look at the most important point in that paragraph. The Anti-Federalists biggest fear has come to fruition today.

1. They argued that this unjust scheme of representation would limit service in Congress to powerful, wealthy men. - TRUE!

Look at what the Federalist claimed - and what is actually happening today:

1. Federalists retorted that the Constitution's scheme of representation was designed to choose men of enlarged views... TRUE! EXCEPT THE "ENLARGED VIEWS" ARE IN THE FORM OR TAXING THE PEOPLE AND RIDICULOUS, WASTEFUL SPENDING!

2. Federalists retorted that the Constitution's scheme of representation was designed to choose men who could grasp the nation's interests; -FALSE!!! THE ONLY "INTERESTS" THAT THEY HAVE IS KEEPING THEIR OWN JOBS, WIELDING POWER IN THAT JOB, SATISFYING LOBBYISTS, AND LINING THEIR OWN POCKETS WITH PORKULUS EARMARK SPENDING. THIS IS IN "THE NATION'S INTERESTS?" BULLCRAP!!

3. Federalists retorted that the Constitution's scheme of representation was designed to - reapportionment would expand the House beyond its original size. - YEAH, EXCEPT FOR THE FACT THAT AN CRIMINAL ACORN LED CENSUS WOULD SKEW THE RESULTS IN A SLY "REAPPORTIONMENT" TOWARDS A CERTAIN POLITICAL PARTY'S ADVANTAGE!

Let's look at more.

Anti-Federalists, distrusting the Presidency, charged that the President was not accountable, that impeachment was too difficult to use against him, and that he would work to ensure his repeated re-election for life. Federalists retorted that the President would be accountable because he could not hide behind advisers; that his brief term of office would not make him a king; and that the electoral college would choose the best man for the job.

Well...we all know know that not all "presidents" are held accountable. Look at all of the corruption ObamaFRAUD has gotten away with. And, where in the Constitution does it say that a president can appoint 21 "czars?" Czars are like mini-princes - who only answer to the president. Where's that in the Constitution??

I have no doubt that if Obama could get away with it - he would ensure repeated re-election for life. But I think that U.S. Representative Posey's eligibility bill, H.R. 1503 plan will limit Obama to one fraudulent term.

Take a look at how prophetic the Anti-Federalists where on the federal court issue:

Anti-Federalists denounced federal courts as unnecessary and expensive. They worried that federal courts would swallow up state courts, wiping out distinctions between state laws and leaving the people subject to a tyrannous federal bench.

One needs to look no further for an example of this fear than America's Holocaust - the Roe v. Wade decision back in 1973.

Look at the Federalists attitude. See if it makes you laugh - then cry - when you realize what a lie this has turned out to be in the election of the usurper - Barack Hussein Obama!

[F]ederalists justified the federal judiciary as a bulwark of liberty that would defend the Constitution against unconstitutional acts of the national legislature or executive and vindicate the Constitution and the general government against encroachments by the states.

WE INTERRUPT THIS BLOG POST FOR A STUNNING ANNOUNCEMENT!

Gateway Pundit: BREAKING - Sarah Palin Resigns! VIDEO

I have just watched a longer version of the video on Fox News. She has stated her case quite effectively; while at the same time pointed out all of the accomplishments of her Alaskan Administration over the past two years.

It remains to be seen where she will go from here. She could choose a path to help America and share her heart on important policies outside of government. Then again, she may run for president in 2012. Time will tell!
