Yet, even with over 729 diggs (as of 3:54 p.m. PT on 10/27/08) it did not reach the front page. Want to know why?
Take a look at this question sent to Digg management and the reply:

people accuse the site of being partisan, and this doesn't help. is there any technical explanation of how this story is failing to make the front page, or even the "hot in this section"?

and here is the response i got[quote]

so it appears that even with 546 diggs, the obama bury brigade has killed this story, and it won't even show up on a search.
Yep...once again, Digg's BIAS IS SHOWING!
These two commenters called it accurately:

No,
"Digg.com in cooperation with the Huffington Post has collectively voted to suppress any stories that threaten the election of The Obamessiah"

so what's the difference between...
digg's favoritism...
and the favoritism at the huffington post...
or the favoritism on sean hannity's radio show...
or the favoritism at talk wisdom?
why is it ok for you, but not for anyone else?

Mike,
I has been a long time since I have read the goals and purposes of the Digg site. From what I can recall, however, the idea is for articles that have the most "diggs" by readers are the ones that automatically make it to the front page on that day. I don't recall reading, "except if the liberal left people at digg disagree with the article" as a reason for them to digg an article down and out of the running for the front page. Must be in their secret code...or something.
I have just submitted this story to Digg. May not do any good but it sure as hell makes me feel better.
Can u Digg it ;)

I've burried plenty of stories, as a habit if it says Huffpo, talk left, thinkprogress I bury it, but they still end up front page, so Digg's response, as you already now, is bull butter
We should not be surprised at the bias, but I am surprised that they ADMITTED the bias, ADMITTED to choosing to remove the story and bury it.

Right Truth
I'm disgusted with Digg management.
You know what's biased? The American electorate. They are so far gone into the Obama tank it's disgusting.
Do you have your bunker all set up for the next four to eight years of grinding economic prosperity, revoltingly restored constitutional liberties, and terrifying international peace? Savor these fleeting last few weeks of Bush's gloriously destructive presidency and McCain/Palin's patriotic failure of a campaign.
Thanks for your support on this issue, Buffoon, Debbie and Alanocu!
Debbie - thank you for writing about this on your blog and linking back.
The Marxist leftists want to destroy freedom of speech rights - not for themselves, of course, but only against those with whom they do not agree. This is just a small taste - a very bitter one at that - of what an Obama presidency (God forbid!!) would lead to.
The unholy trinity of Obama, Pelosi, and Reid and a 60% Dem majority in Congress would pass the oxymoronic "Fairness Doctrine" so fast it would make your head spin!
I am praying every day for a McCain/Palin '08 victory on November 4, 2008! May God have mercy upon our nation and shower us with grace so we avoid an Obamanation!
Lord Jesus Christ - our prayers and our hearts are in your mighty hands!
